Indian Curry House in Frankfurt am Main

So this restaurant is awesome. Inconspicuous and inconspicuous, but very tasty. Both outside and in-house. It was my first ever visit to an Indian to get something to go and I was so pleasantly surprised that I was able to convince my group to stop there the next day. Thank you for the taste explosions and the new insights.

Only accessible from the street and no longer through the allotment gardens, there is a quiet oasis with delicious cuisine hidden here. If you don't get enough here, you're doing something wrong. Not overcrowded even at lunchtime. Nice places outside and inside.

I do not find a place to review your Indian curry house branch which is inside Frankfurt Hbf so writting Here as I assume it's your branch only - after a long trip, on the way back to home I was thinking to buy burger from Burger King. But than I thought being Indian I should promote our vendors and went to buy from Indian curry house in Hbf. There was a guy in front of me in the queue and their was a guy slightly behind me ( both white). The vendor was smilingly giving food to the guy in front of me. And when he left, he ignored me and greeted the guy behind me, the guy asked him to take care of my request first (which was a right thing to do). Than this vendor was really rude ( without smile) and in super hurry to finish my order and literally my payment was in progress and he was smilingly asked the order to the white guy ( looked like I was a customer he was forced to serve and he didn't wanted to). There was literally no other person to buy the food ( so actually no hurry was needed). I don't understand when will you guys get beyond the colonized mindset . I felt frustrated with the behavior but than I thought better to give a review rather than spoiling my mood. Never going to this place again, there are many other vendors on Frankfurt Hbf. Note : you are not first colonized mind, I have seen before too and never repeated such places. Keep serving your white skins.

I think the ambience is simply brilliant, just right for the restaurant located in the Schrepergarten. The garden invites you to linger and enjoy delicious food. The price-performance ratio is definitely right. We would like to come again.

We had originally ordered food to be picked up - we were in transit at a hotel nearby - and then spontaneously decided to eat there. The staff was very flexible and were happy to accommodate our request and arranged everything very nicely, even though it was already packed. All in all, a highly recommended “small” restaurant!

Good grief the curry was outstanding and had to have a 5 star review: It is the real-authentic-curry-deal! Don’t let the strange location or muted service deter you, make the trip and go here. You’re going for the curry so focus on that. I went twice and would have done a third if I had time… The curry is complex and delicious, the meat is fresh (and cooked properly skewered in the tandoor), the naan perfect and the veg samosas are hand made perfection. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and it’s in the middle of one of those German summer house setups (“Schrebergarten”). So peaceful. Even the rice has the little coconut trimmings and the curry is served in traditional bowls. Flavorful, rich and delicious… over the two nights I did lamb rogan josh, butter chicken, samosas, garlic naan and peshwari naan. Popular options and curry perfection. Service is quiet, quick and helpful.

Nice Indian restaurant in an old clubhouse. We ate here from work and it was wonderful. Even colleagues who were there for the first time got a taste for it. The food can be ordered from mild to very spicy, so everyone can enjoy their food according to their own taste. Only recommended!

It took some searching, but the signs indicating the location are clear. Ordered various dishes and various types of naan; all equally delicious! Very good food, friendly employees and fast service. There is a charging point for cars at Lidl within walking distance.

Coming from England and ended up having lunch with my work colleagues here. For the German standard this may be good. Unfortunately for me this was below the average Indian curry house. Food was too sweet, lacked flavour and was bland. I tried the jalfrezi and it was just spicy and can't taste anything else. The naan bread was nothing I have seen, crispy naan bread. For authentic Indian curry, I would look somewhere else.

A great restaurant, together with the "Main Curry House" on the banks of the Main in Frankfurt Oberrad. The food is very tasty, especially the butter chicken is the best there, I have compared some in the city! :D the employees are all very nice and you can sit comfortably inside and outside by the allotment gardens. Sehr leckeres Essen, super freundliche Bedienung! Wir sind ganz zufällig auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant dort gelandet und waren angenehm überrascht. Das Ambiente ist nicht wirklich indisch und erinnert mehr an ein altes Kleingartenvereinsheim, aber die Freundlichkeit und das authentisch Essen machen alles wett!! Sehr empfehlenswert!!

Eine sehr schöne Location. Draußen sitzt man sehr schön, wenn man will auch sonnig, inmitten der Schrebergärten, sehr schön grün. Innen ist es eher einfach gehalten. Das Team ist sehr freundlich, flexibel und geht auf alle Wünsche ein. Das Essen ist hervorragende indische Küche. Man kann hier auch toll mal eine größere Feier mit mehr Gästen planen.

Tische mit Tischdecke, rote Auflage und Papierservietten hübsch drapiert. Kerzchen im Glas. Sensationelles Essen. Best ever Tamarind & Mint Sauce zum hausgemachten Käse (Vorspeise). Viele Vegetarische Gerichte. Heimelig international: deutsch, indisch und englisch schwirrt im Raum. Wunderbarer Duft nach Essen und Gewürzen durchschwebt den Raum. Sehr höfliche und freundliche Bedienung!

Restaurant liegt in einer Schrebergartensiedlung. Von unserem Hotel MotelOne lag es ca 10 Minuten zu Fuß weg. Sowohl die Vorspeisen als auch die Hauptgerichte waren sehr lecker. Personal auf Zack und sehr nett. Kann man echt empfehlen.

Waren abends spontan da essen nach dem NFL Game Frankfurt und muss sagen super lecker Essen sehr nettes Personal und innen super Ambiente von außer denkt man naja Gartenheim aber für mich steht fest der nächste Besuch in Frankfurt wird abends wieder hier kulinarisch beendet. 😊👌🏼

We went there with our family on a weekday. Everything was going okay until we found a fly in our gravy. When we mentioned this to the server he just blandly said sorry and we too said that it’s fine and this happens sometimes. He said he’ll get us another curry but we asked him to get us another dal (we had already already ordered one). So when it was time for billing, they charged us for 3 curries (costing around €17 each) and 1 dal (costing around €12). We had returned one curry because the fly and gotten a dal instead, so why were we being charged for that curry? We asked the owner but she was a really rude lady who just said that we just replaced it for you as you said! It was a terrible experience for us!

After placing the order it arrived in less than 45 minutes. It arrived hot, fresh, and the food was extremely tasty!

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und in ausreichender Menge serviert. Der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders im Sommer sitzt man sehr schön draußen auf der Terrasse inmitten einer schönen und gepflegten Kleingartenanlage. Immer wieder sehr gerne. Da lohnt auch eine weitere Anreise.

Ist echt schön dort, super Essen, gute Atmosphäre im Strebersgarten. Nur der Parkplatz ist schwer zu finden. Mangolazi ist definitiv zu empfehlen genau wie eine Vorspeise, bei den meisten sind 3 sehr leckere Soßen dabei. Gerne wieder!

Het restaurant is sober ingericht en staat vooral vol met tafels en stoelen en 2 lange banken tegen de muur. Er worden hier ook maaltijden afgehaald en dit gebeurt bij de kassa waar de andere gasten ook afrekenen. Het hoofdgerecht met kip èn lamscurry, gegrilde groenten, koude witte saus, brood en rijst was vlak van smaak. De neutrale kip leek zelfs later aan de curry toegevoegd. Het werd geserveerd in kleine rvs kommetjes op een rvs bord met plat brood en wat rijst in het midden. Het restaurant staat op een perceel met allerlei kleine tuintjes. Leuk concept, je loopt over een pad vanaf de straat langs deze tuintjes naar het restaurant.

Nach langer Zeit haben wir hier etwas zur Lieferung bestellt. O.k., man hätte online bestellen können, aber wenn man Fragen zu den Gerichten hat, greift man halt zum Telefon. Wir hatten uns zwei Standard-Gerichte von der Karte ausgesucht und mein Mann bat noch zusätzlich um ein Chutney, das wir von unserem Stamm-Inder kennen, aber hier nicht auf der Online-Karte gefunden haben. Insgesamt war die Verständigung eher suboptimal… Sehr überrascht waren wir dann allerdings, als statt einer kleinen Portion Chutney als (bezahltes) Extra irgendein komplettes Gericht zum natürlich vollen Preis geliefert wurde… Wir haben das trotzdem akzeptiert, da man dies ja auch noch am nächsten Tag essen konnte und wir einfach nicht mit dem übrigens sehr freundlichen Lieferanten streiten wollten. Von den Speisen selbst waren wir enttäuscht. Schwach gewürzt und sehr ghee-lastig. Die Chapatis schmeckten, wie in altem Fett gebacken - ein Aroma, das einen noch über Stunden verfolgte… Fazit: Muss nicht nochmal sein!

I was very pleased to find the Indian Curry House in its location amongst allotments while visiting Frankfurt on business in November. Please do walk down the dark lane because what you will find is a very welcoming restaurant with friendly attentive staff. I had excellent vegetable samosas followed by Chicken cooked on the Tandoor which was served with delicious sauces and came on a sizzling cast iron platter. The manager even asked how spicy I liked my food, so the food is obviously cooked with the customer in mind. I also sampled excellent local draught beers and the meal was topped off by a complimentary shot of mango liqueur. Highly recommended!

Ich arbeite in Niederrad und bin aufgrund von Empfehlungen von Freunden hingegangen, die dort in der Nähe arbeiten. Ich fand es persönlich ziemlich teuer, da man alles extra zahlen muss (z. B. Brot). Es war in Ordnung.

This place was really close to our hotel so we gave it a shot. It looks very small from the outside but it is surprisingly big and warm inside. Our server was charming - spoke 4 or 5 languages so no issue there. The food was just fantastic. My husband said it was his best meal in 2 weeks of travelling in Europe, including France! The menu has a lot of options. I had the thali platter and it was generous. Highly recommended.

Indian Curry House is the place where you can get the best and the variety of authentic Indian cuisine. When you think, that Indian food is too spicy, that too is a misunderstanding. A real Indian food is not spicy but rich in flavor and flavor as well as nutritious and "yummy"

Das Essen war fade, nicht scharf und gheelastig. Da ist viel Luft nach oben! Aber die Lieferung war schnell.

Im Schatten hoher Bürogebäude befindet sich eine Schrebergarten Siedlung und das darin befindliche kleine Lokal. Man geht den Schotterweg entlang, hört die Vögel zwitschern und ist gleich etwas entschleunigt. . . Das Lokal ist geräumig und gut besucht. Die Möbel etwas antiquiert - die Bedienung freundlich und das Essen war SUPER! Außerdem ein für Frankfurt sehr gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich. Ich kann dieses Lokal bestens empfehlen!

Übernachtung bei NH und Abendessen beim Inder. Ein tolle Verbindung. Zunächst mussten wir etwas suchen, bis wir das Lokal fanden, aber die Suche hat sich sehr gelohnt. Die Gerichte waren einfach spitze und auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Hier stimmt auch noch das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Da Inder in der Regel schärfer bzw. scharf kochen wird man bei der Bestellung gefragt, wie stark gewürzt man das Essen haben möchte. Guter Service. Wir haben dieses Restaurant auf unserer ToDoListe für den nächsten Frankfurt-Besuch.
