There are many different dishes that are cooked quickly. You can watch this from the restaurant. The food tastes good and is served in generous portions. The owners and their service are super nice. There are quieter seats at the back of the restaurant (or outside), while the tables at the front tend to sit in the haze.

One of the must visit restaurants in Berlin! As an indian, I can confirm that the food you get here is completely authentic. It tastes exactly like how it should, similar to restaurants in India. The portions of the curries are average. A single person can easily finish one curry plate. Do not forget that each curry also comes with a plate of rice. I made the mistake of ordering too much food and the servers didnt tell me anything about the 'extra rice'. Regardless, I was able to take some food home as well so worked out for me. Another important point is that card payment is ONLY POSSIBLE for MORE than 15 Euros. Its cash otherwise.

If you prefer to eat freshly cooked food then come here cooking fresh takes time but worth coming here. Prices are affordable and quantity is good.

We went there for lunch. Food is ok - not too great though. Staff are also ok. Overall ok experience. They try hard to get the vibe by having too much incense and classical Indian music.

Quite inconspicuous, currently located under scaffolding, "India Express" is the best Indian in the capital. Every time I dine there, I am blown away by the delicacies that the kitchen truly knows how to prepare. The simple “Butter Chicken” is out of this world!! Price is right! Service is laid back.

This is my favourite Curry restaurant in Berlin. I always come here. The food is great, the prices are very reasonable and Urdcash is a friendly ans entertaining host. The Indischer rot wein is lushious and you have to order the Bhatura bread, and the Curry soup. Go there. You won't be disappointed.

Everything is perfect here, we ate a wonderfully delicious vegetarian lunch menu with a delicious soup and a mini Bhatura. Price performance top. really very delicately seasoned, very friendly service. We felt very comfortable and will come back.

Very nice restaurant. The food was fresh and clean, not too much oil like in some Indian restaurants but very well made and lovely! Could have been much spicier though. I had mix veg curry with chana palak and asked them spicy but they were served, not bland at all but mild. Otherwise delicious! The service was great and the restaurant atmosphere was also very pleasant.

The lamb was dry. We didn't like it at all...

The menu advertised the dish as having “exotic spices.” The reality test was more reminiscent of light food in terms of seasoning, it tasted so bland. All in all, an Indian restaurant that seems to have adapted too much to the cliche of western culture's low-spice cuisine.

Simply always (!!!) super delicious food and top service. I eat here regularly and have never been disappointed. The price-performance ratio is also 100%. My favorite food: Tofu Tikka! But all the other dishes are great too.

It's a pity that you only find out when paying that you are not allowed to use your debit card for amounts under 15 euros. That could have been clearer. Food was nothing special, fine, but I have eaten better Indian food.

The food was very tasty. The service was very attentive, people often asked if everything was OK without being intrusive. When ordering, it was pointed out that there was something not vegan and a vegan alternative was suggested - thank you again for that! The ambience and atmosphere were absolutely pleasant.

Did I really have to come to Berlin for authentic food? Apparently. The team was super nice and you could tell that everyone here put their heart and soul into it. It was really fun. Vegetarian/vegan also very well positioned. (Compared to what you get in Munich). Lots of variety beyond the typical dishes.

The entrance looked a little uneasy from the outside, but I'm glad I entered. Best cost performance. A store you go to when you're hungry. was delicious. Mango chicken curry is exquisite. It wasn't on the menu, so I asked the owner. The combination of the crumbly grilled chicken and the mellow curry sauce was the best. A store I want to come back to

The Dal Tarka was great, the red lentil soup was pretty good, but the Vegan Thali I definitely wouldn’t order again. The bread also came out after we were half-way done our main dishes which is unfortunate for an Indian restaurant. The only reason I am giving 4* and not 3* is because we only tried the two main dishes and they had quite a huge vegan selection. (But then again that should be expected with Indian food and also in Berlin so…)

das beste indische Essen das ich in Berlin bislang gegessen habe - Fisch-Curry mit viel frischem! Gemüse, angenehme Schärfe, super Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis :)))

Essen schmeckte absolut schrecklich, bitter, fast wie Erbrochenes. Hab dann nur das Huhn rausgepickt, böser Fehler: am nächsten Morgen schlimme Bauchschmerzen, Übelkeit, Schüttelfrost. Tippe auf Salmonellen. Das Personal hat sich mit der Zubereitung beeilt, da ich einen von Berlin überforderten kleinen Hund dabei hatte, aber Huhn nicht ganz durchzubraten, ist extrem Fahrlässig!

Update: I have never seen a psychologically ill person in a resturant manager position like this in Germany. He was dare enough to ask why I left a poor review as soon as I entered the restaurant. We eventually left without eating. Chacha, after giving such a poor service what do you expect? Also, if you have psychological issues, please see a doctor. Such behaviour of yours is a shame to Indian cohort and the restaurant chains here in Germany. What a creep. Grow up, be sportive and give a better service and expect better reviews. Not by acting barbaric. Initial review: The food was good but the service was not. I had to wait good time for my bill to arrive. And when asked, I was told we are serving other customers now. I mean, get my bill and let me pay and I'll get tf out. They came to ask how the food was, very politely. I assumed them to be humane but that's not how you deal with customers. This definitely needs to improve.

Absolutely negative place, negative environment and impolite,rude owner and his staff. Acts has if he has conqured the world but in reality not even conquered a peanut. Act Indian and not German when you’re not! Would definitely not reccommend the place to anyone unless you see some surprising change in the owners attitude.

Bin selber Inder. Daher würde ich als erstes die Indern abraten. Das Essen schmeckt überhaupt nicht authentisch. Überall riecht nach Gewürzen. Also nicht die teure Klamotten anziehen. Sonst riecht du nachher nach masala.

My favourite Indian restaurant in Berlin. Great for vegetarians. Huge portions, low prices, good, fast, friendly service, nice vibes. I recommend their vegetarian thali, a selection of their vegi dishes, with Dahl soup starter, rice, yoghurt, bread, and a dessert for just over ten euros. I couldn't finish mine. Possibly enough for two.

Express ist hier Programm. Wenige Stunden nach dem Besuch startete die Expressverdauung in Form von Magenschmerzen.

Für mich der beste Inder in Berlin (und ich kenne viele indische Restaurants hier). Authentisch, aufmerksamer Service, ohne schnick-schnack, dabei herrlich würzig, frisch und lecker! Das Chicken Jalfrezi ist unglaublich köstlich und das Fleisch immer butterzart. Weiter so!
