Best shop for miles around 🙏🏽 We've been customers for a long time, and the food is and always has been good. The staff is also top-notch 🎉

After my stomach started to make itself known and I realized I was too lazy to cook, I decided to order from here again after a while. A fallacy I'll discuss in more detail later. I opted for a so-called "gyro plate," with French fries and coleslaw, so everything was complete. As a backup, I opted for a chicken burger; you can never go wrong with that, really. Starving, I waited for my online order and had the stated amount of cash, including a generous additional allowance, ready. It took a while before the doorbell rang. I rushed to the door and accepted the food according to my nutritional status. I happily opened the thin, snug plastic bag and examined the food I had purchased. Spoiler: Those with weak nerves should stop reading now! I opened the Styrofoam-like container that was supposed to contain a crispy chicken burger. Inside was actually something that was supposed to be close to the description, albeit a bit dark. The bread, which was too dry and extremely crumbly, gave the overall impression a complete package. Special requests were obviously added at this point and were presented accordingly for the final price. Too bad, my backup was already a flop, and I knew if it didn't get better now... well, so what. I was ready to devote myself to the desired main course, a gyro plate... complete... with all the trimmings. Suffice it to say, the coleslaw is really good, really, really good. The fries were also on point, so really, above average for what I ordered. Then my initial joy came to an abrupt end. The gyro was the worst gyro I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying in years, with much room for improvement. Please, dear Heidegrill, just stay the way you are. An authentic snack bar! P.S. The burgers are always a hit there...

The staff is incredibly unfriendly. You ask something and you don't get an answer. Things are missing, and then you're accused of lying.

The quality and price are right

The quality of the food was rather mediocre, but the incredible friendliness of the delivery driver, Christian according to Lieferando, made up for it. So I'd happily order again. 5/5 for the service 😊👍🏼 isn't something you can take for granted these days.

Unfortunately, no one here has any idea what a proper gyro is. It's a real shame. They also served the wrong side dish, which I didn't order. The fries were also rather mediocre.

The shashlik is inedible. The meat is tough, hard, and inedible. Cutting it isn't even possible! Onions are like shoe soles. Unfriendly staff who try to explain everything to you. Unfortunately, they have no idea how to cook. It's sad to sell a meal like this for 30 euros. I wouldn't even give it to my dog. The sauces are all the cheapest ready-made pots that make you sick for days. Avoid this place! One star is too many!

Service was poor and unfriendly. Prices were far too expensive! The food was nothing special.

Maybe they should change the opening hours online for Fridays. It says that the Heidegrill is open today, Friday, from 11:00 a.m.! We just found the door locked. A cleaning lady told us it wouldn't open until 2:00 p.m. We'd been looking forward to the Heidegrill for 600 km and had to make a 30-km detour. Very annoying!

I've ordered something here several times, but the gyros were really bad a few years ago. I thought I would give the gyros another chance because the shop where I usually buy gyros was unfortunately closed. You really can't do gyros, so please take it out of the range. The rest is good.

The food is really good for a snack, the service is great and really friendly. The ambience invites you to linger a little longer and in summer you can occasionally see the ring-necked parakeets that live in Cologne.

So I ate something there two days in a row. I'm on Monday and my hotel is nearby. The food there is really delicious and the portions are large. You get something for your money that really tastes good. E.g. a double currywurst with fries and 2 beers for 14€. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely come back. I can only rate the food and delivery. But I can rate this with 5 stars. Fries great, Gyruss could be a bit crispier, but still very good, fast delivery. Great!

The Heidegrill is and remains an absolute recommendation if you're really in the mood for honest, hearty snack food! The currywurst tastes great, crispy fries and a decent portion - you'll definitely get full here. The prices are fair and the staff is always friendly and in a good mood. Even when there is a lot going on, everything runs quickly. A real classic in the area that you simply have to know. If you love good snack food, you've come to the right place!

I have to say the quality has deteriorated a lot. I couldn't eat the fries last time, they were extremely soft and full of oil! A tip: change the oil often so that the fries are light and crispy.

Food is standard snack food with good value for money. The service is incredibly customer-oriented, something you don't find that often these days. Here we don't look closely at the clock, we just like to take a minute longer. You are immediately welcomed very warmly. Clear recommendation for quick and cheap food in a nice atmosphere.

Sorry, but I've never had such bad gyros before. Totally dry! For the price, quantity over quality! Currywurst not cut properly! That was really the last time! Raise prices but worsen quality.

Everything simple, but perfectly acceptable

I discovered the snack bar by chance yesterday as I was driving past and picked up a currywurst and ate it outside. I found the sausage very tasty, it somehow reminded me of the past. The lady behind the counter was also very friendly. Will definitely come back.

Actually a really good restaurant. I've been there several times and have never left any food left over. However, I find it really stupid that half the range is often no longer in stock from 4-5 p.m. The store stays open until 10 p.m. and I almost never get a chance to get something to eat after work. Apparently people only buy for half the day. Please, close at 6 p.m., but I won't go there again just to go home with nothing. :/

So no more staff disaster eating what I had paid €9.30 but destroyed €10.80 of meat with the ✂️ since I can still chew, never again, sorry

I don't want to talk for long at all...I'm that disappointed. Sausage carcinogenic burnt and mushy inside. You have to look for curry sauce. French fries are like a small child's portion. Mayonnaise sour. I'm really tolerant but that's really not possible. But the lady behind the counter was really nice. But nice doesn't fill you up and so after trying everything ended up in the bin. 7.50 euros was an outrage. . It's a shame there were times when it really wasn't bad. Now you feel sick. Too bad. Maybe you should just close..? Soooooorryyyyy it's really not okay what is being sold here.... By the way... what you see... is what I got. Nothing is missing

An absolute highlight in the area! The Heide Grill impresses with delicious food and super friendly service. The food is fresh and lovingly prepared, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a relaxed meal, you won't be disappointed here. I always enjoy coming by and can only recommend the Heide Grill!

Was there yesterday with my wife. We had 2 Gigant Burger menu. Everything was great and it tasted really good 👍 I definitely recommend it. We'll be back

Völlig enttäuscht. Pommes Currywurst mit Majo 7,50 Euro ist okay in anbetracht der Zeit. Nur ...Erstens die Wurst krebserregend verbrannt. Soße so wenig das nicht mal jedes Stück der Wuest etwas abbekam. Pommes? Schauen Sie selber auf den Fotos. Die Mayonnaise säuerlich. Die Wurst schwabbelig. Dafür waren die Damen super nett. I'm always sorry to have to write reviews like this. I go to you every now and then and I haven't been disappointed. But things steadily went downhill in terms of taste and service. And last week the bird was shot. We ordered 2 curry sausages and fries to eat on site. First of all, the service was absolutely unfriendly when it wasn't clear how much a currywurst fries cost. Because I assumed that it was the dish that was on the menu. And I don't have to add up the price of what a portion of fries and a currywurst cost. (In the end it's not that bad, everyone can have a bad day sometimes) Now the currywurst came and was absolutely no longer edible. The sausage must have been frying on the plate for hours; it was already crumbly, hard and dried out in both portions. And apparently this process is normal - employee XY immediately threw fresh sausages on the grill for the customer who wasn't there yet. A little tip is to let the customer wait 5-10 minutes so that they can serve an edible dish. (Make the sausages fresh) Fries were delicious hence the 2 stars.

wir haben heute am 18.07.24 um 21:15 Uhr essen zum mitnehmen bei Ihnen geholt . Nachdem wir die 18€ mit der Karte bezahlt hatten , haben wir um eine weitere kleine Plastiktüte gebeten , damit die zwei Portionen einzeln getragen werden können . Daraufhin hat Ihre Mitarbeiterin 50 Cent extra verlangt ! Was bei zwei Gerichten schon eine Frechheit an sich ist. Wir hatten nur 30 Cent Kleingeld dabei und fragten ob das auch in Ordnung wäre und haben eine dermaßen pampige Antwort von „Nein! 50 Cent ! „ erhalten !! Zu der Mitarbeiterin: schlank , dunkle Haare und Brille . Das können die umliegenden Imbiss Buden echt Kundenfreundlicher! Wir kennen sehr viele Leute hier in der Gegend , da wir hier wohnen und wir werden den Heidegrill definitiv nicht weiter empfehlen und das war auch das letzte mal, dass wir bei Ihnen etwas zu essen geholt haben .

Not really great food for my taste, far too greasy, apparently the roof in the entrance area is not entirely safe and, according to the owner, could collapse.

You get what you expect: fast food for quick hunger in between meals. Crispy Chicken was really crispy, other guests raved about the grilled chicken. It's somehow clear that the location on the street can't be comfortable. A little more attention to the space would be nice, e.g. don't leave multiple sockets lying around openly, a) it doesn't look nice and b) I don't think it's safe. Nevertheless, I will definitely come back for dinner (try the grilled chicken).

Unfortunately, this will be my first bad review. I ordered half a chicken and a currywurst with fries, I would have done better with the chicken at home, but oh well. Then we come to the second dish, so everyone can have fries but they weren't exactly seasoned for my taste and the sausage was okay, you could eat it. The point is my food was packaged incorrectly and my curry sauce was in the bag as was the mayonnaise. Service wasn't very enthusiastic about their work either. I wanted to give it a chance because I was advised against eating there but wanted to have my own opinion on it. And I didn't order any elaborate food, so that's my rating.

An old disused gas station as a snack bar with the option to eat on site, to go or have it delivered. The taste is okay, you just have to like it.

Plentiful, inexpensive. Good grill. Friendly. Sometimes ready-made products - just snacks. Good parking options. You can sit outside.

After 2 years I was here again and I think the French fries don't taste good if you treat yourself to fried French fries, it's a shame the shish kebab tasted mediocre with no paprika, little paprika taste, the sauce also has little to do with paprika shish kebab. Service was nice, helpful and friendly...

Very tasty burger. The giant burgers have great toppings and are enough even if you're very hungry - the shish sludge in the very tasty sauce that disintegrates in your mouth should not be neglected. Hmmm just writing about it makes my mouth water!

Good old chip shop flair. After about five years, I was nearby and wanted to buy something to eat. I would have been better off saving the money or going somewhere else. Both the gyro meat and tzatziki had no taste...a little seasoning wouldn't have been bad. And charging €12 for a small portion of meat with tzatziki is a disgrace. Too bad, €12 thrown in the trash

The gyro plate was delicious. The staff friendly and nice. A bit too expensive in my opinion, but you have to cover the costs, you could then put them into the ambience 😉

Friendly stuff and food as anyone expects from a snack bar. You might even find grilled chicken which is hard to find nowadays. You can pay by card for a total sum over 10€. One of pro is that there are many tables outside where you may sit even on rainy days under the ( obviously former gas station ) covered area outside.

I'm not one to give bad reviews, but what I was offered today was a disaster. I don't want to talk about it for long, the order was taken incorrectly and instead of at least apologizing, you are told that your colleague overheard you. It's new to me that people use hands-free telephones in restaurants. It is absolutely unprofessional to accuse the customer of having ordered something wrong. Finally, the statement: “there we are 2 against 2” apart from the fact that there were 3 of us, it shows no insight and only a defense, here even on the way to the court (meaningful meaning). Absolutely unreasonable and unfriendly. The store used to be good, today it was the last order.

Orders were mixed up and then the customers were blamed. Only when they confirm each other does the waitress backtrack but do not apologize. Instead, when the order was corrected, all new guests were served first. Complaining about the 19% VAT is inappropriate; it scares away guests. The food itself was fine. Maybe I'll use the delivery service, but no more on-site visits.

Das zweite mal jetzt hintereinander Gyros mit gemischten Salat bestellt. Groß total trocken und gemischter Salat, Lachhaft. Krautsalat mit je einer Scheibe Gurke und Tomate. Wenn man es nicht im Angebot hat, sollte es auch nicht zusagen. Schade, nicht zu empfehlen. Hatte von der letzten Reklamation noch einen Gutschein, wurde gar nicht erwähnt.

Gue Alternative zu den anderen Möglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Hier kann man sehen was man aus einer alten Tankstelle machen kann. Die direkt verlaufende Heidestraße fällt kaum auf.

Da der Gyrospalast zu hatte, habe ich hier das Gyros geholt. Leider ist es nicht so schmackhaft wie ein paar Meter weiter und teurer bzw. weniger auf dem Teller haste auch noch. Es ist alles im allem mittelmäßig dort.

Wir hatten das Gyros und Pommes. Der Preis war okay, jedoch stellte sich schnell heraus weshalb. Im verlaufe des Abends bekamen meine Freundin und ich Bauchschmerzen; dabei sollte es jedoch nicht bleiben. Wir beide wachten nachts mit fürchterlichem Durchfall auf und konnten die ganze Nacht nicht schlafen. Nie wieder !

Meine Freundin und ich haben beide ein Cheeseburger Menü gegessen . Am nächsten Tag hatten beide brechen 🤮 Durchfall . Diagnose vom Arzt Lebensmittelvergiftung

Also wahren mal sowas wie stamm kunden aber so unfreundlich habe ich auch keine Lust mehr behandelt zu werden wenn man sich mal beschwert wird man brutal angemacht nie eine Einsicht wir bestellen grosse fritten mit Currywurst meine Freundin ihre Portion wahr deutlich größer als meine wie ich drauf angesprochen habe ganz unfreundlich ne ist alles gleich und mann müßte ja nicht mehr essen kommen oder dann gab es mal kaltes essen oder man hatte nachdem essen mal Durchfall jetzt ist der punkt wo ich sage mal schauen wie lange der laden noch macht wenn man so die leute vergrault der laden wahr mal echt gut jetzt einfach nur unfreundlich dann schlechtes essen geht garnicht
