im Süden - Restaurant und Bar in Paderborn

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von sechs Personen an einem Samstag Abend spontan vor Ort. Toller Service & Bedienung! Super leckere, regionale Zutaten. Einfach total lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wieder mal ein perfektes Muschelessen am letzten Wochenende. Die gratinierten Jacobsmuscheln waren Spitze, die Miesmuscheln wie immer perfekt. Abgerundet durch ein leckeres Zitronensorbet war es ein rundum gelungener Abend. Der Muscadet passte super und war ausgesprochen lecker. Da gibt es nicht viele Restaurants in Paderborn und Umgebung, die so etwas hinbekommen. Wir freuen uns auf die nächsten "Mottoessen" (z.B. 25.04. Tapas) und immer wieder auf die "normale" Speisekarte, die im Südhotel immer höchsten Ansprüchen, zusammen mit dem Service, genügen.

Hier stimmt einfach alles: Toller Service, eine schöne Auswahl an Gerichten regionaler und saisonaler Herkunft (auch für Vegetarier ist immer etwas dabei) und ein gemütliches Ambiente mit liebevoll gestalteter Dekoration. Tipp: Man sollte unbedingt mal die Pizza dort probieren! Und das Tzatziki… ein Traum! Wir kommen gerne und auch mal in einer größeren Gruppe vorbei, zuletzt zu einer rundum gelungenen Geburtstagsfeier.

Nicht die beste Gegend... Aber zu günstigen Preisen super lecker gegessen und megafreundlichen Service genossen.

Sehr lecker! Was geht, ist selbst gemacht, von lokalen Erzeugern. Super freundliche und professionelle Bedienung, beim nächsten Besuch in Paderborn auf jeden Fall wieder hier.

Authentic, honest, good. That's more or less how you could describe the restaurant. How did we come to that conclusion? Here's the short version: Great concept, regional and partly organic products. Great selection. Great taste. Reasonably priced. Good and very friendly service. Exactly how it should be. We have no complaints; everything was perfect. There was also a group of older men in the dining room playing cards and drinking a few beers. But that didn't bother us. We'll definitely be back! Clearly recommended!

Preparing dishes with meat and vegetables from regional suppliers is fantastic, and other restaurants should offer this as well. The food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Despite the small menu, you can also enjoy vegan and vegetarian meals in a lounge atmosphere with very attentive service. Even small special requests are accommodated whenever possible.

Very busy on a Friday evening. Pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant and good value for money. The food gets a B- in terms of quality; the meat quality could be a bit better, at least that's my impression. But you can tell this isn't your average kitchen; the homemade salad was very tasty. It certainly wouldn't be bad if red wine was served in red wine glasses.

We were at Restaurant Im Süd last Saturday when we were visiting Paderborn. There were three of us and we were all absolutely thrilled! The staff was very friendly and accommodating and had a warmth that was inspiring! The food was excellent. The meat in the souvlaki was crispy on the outside and totally juicy on the inside. There was also couscous, which really excited me because I am an absolute couscous fan. My husband and our friend were also very happy with the food. Unfortunately we live around 300 km away, otherwise we would definitely go there more often. But we are already looking forward to our next visit to Paderborn to go to the innovative and great restaurant “Im Süd”.

The shop was almost empty, but we still waited about an hour for food. The food was quite tasty, but not a revelation. However, some dishes were too expensive (e.g. savoy cabbage roulade for €16.50. The service was very good and the drinks were delivered quickly. The outside area looks more like a storage area with uncomfortable furniture. Inside is more pleasant, but the waiting times are probably not any better.

Lekker eten. Vers en smakelijk bereid. Vriendelijk personeel. Goed assortiment aan bier.

Freundliche Bedienung, Bier vom Fass und eine leckere sowie wechselnde Speisekarte. Wir gehen gerne hin!

Ich finde das Restaurant super Costa der Kneiper ist superaufmerksam. Ich kann am WE Fußball gucken weil sie sky und DAZN haben. Und der Koch Thomas ist einfach geil. Ne super wechselnde Karte, aber wenn einem das nicht passt macht er auch alles andere möglich! Fazit: ich bin gerne da!

Einfach leckeres Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre bei netten Menschen. Im Südhotel wird mit Liebe und Können gekocht und bei den Gerichten von der kleinen, ständig wechselnden Karte, ist für Jeden/Jede was dabei. Auch für Liebhaber*innen vegetarischer (und teilweise veganer) Küche kein Problem. Immer empfehlenswert sind die tollen Pizzen, die definitiv zu den Besten in Paderborn gehören. Und es wird generell auf Nachhaltigkeit geachtet, dafür sind die Preise fair.

Wenn wir essen gehen, dann dort. Regionale und saisonale Karte und für jeden was dabei.
