Nice pizzeria and got a meal at 9:45 p.m. even though it would be closed at 9:30 p.m.

Great pizza! Plus gluten-free pasta and pizza for an additional charge, that's great! Nice service, nice restaurant!

We were spontaneously looking for a restaurant that offered gluten-free dishes and were absolutely thrilled. The food was very tasty, the service was very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. We'll be back.

Sehr gemütliches italienisches Restaurant, mit interessanter Tageskarte. Wir haben zwar "nur" Pizza gegessen, die aber sehr lecker waren. Meine Partnerin hatte die Verdura bestellt, die wirklich sehr schmackhaft belegt war, mit passend abgestimmten Zutaten. Extrawünsche wurden gerne angenommen. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir werden sicher noch öfters hingehen.

We'd be happy to come back. The pizza had a thin crust, and that's exactly how I like it. The prices are a bit high, though.

The burger is very bad for the overpriced price of €18.50. No sauce at all, so it's very dry, the meat is hard and tastes worse than at McDonalds. I ordered fries and ketchup with it, but I got sweet potatoes. I had a 10% voucher with me that I wanted to redeem. I was able to redeem it, but the innkeeper said I should come with a real bill and not “just” that. I will also inform the hotel that recommended the restaurant that they should no longer recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately very disappointing. Have reserved for 5 people. When we arrived there were 2 older people sitting at the table that was probably reserved for and. There was no reserved sign on the table; unlike others. After the two older people were relocated, we were able to sit down. Unfortunately there was a draft because the table was right next to the door that was open. When the drinks came to the table we had to point out that a drink was missing. When the food came, it became clear that the table was a bit too small for 5 people. It is also very narrow. Every time another guest or the waiter had to pass by, you were slightly jostled. When paying the bill, which was paid separately, we had to go to the counter to do it.

Overall difficult... We were greeted warmly and served politely. That was fine. It's supposed to be a ristorante and pizzeria. A look at the menu also reveals a burrito and schnitzel? Mediterranean cuisine is on the menu. I always thought burritos came from Mexico?! The concept is somehow not clear and the map is therefore too large to deliver good quality. We were skeptical and the skepticism was justified. The food came suspiciously quickly. I had a lasagne. She was warmed up. Not as you would expect, completely freshly baked in a heatproof dish, but a piece of a large, probably sheet pan lasagne, which was then heated in the microwave. And unfortunately it's very uneven. Sometimes it was cold and sometimes it was boiling hot. The taste was okay. But nothing special and unfortunately gave me terrible heartburn (I've only had it once or twice in my entire life). We also pointed out to the waiter that she wasn't good, but unfortunately he couldn't or didn't want to understand anything. The pizza wasn't great either. A bit loveless and bland. By the way, the atmosphere was very cozy. As a real ristorante and pizzeria, this restaurant definitely has potential. Maybe the focus should simply be on the essentials: pizza and pasta, then the quality might also work.

We went to Vulcano for pizza this evening. Despite the restaurant being full, we were greeted very friendly and were given a table straight away. The service was top. We both independently rated the pizza as “okay”. It just wasn't in the oven long enough...

Das Restaurant Vulcano in Radolfzell ist seit Langem eines unserer Lieblingslokale – und das aus gutem Grund. Ob zum Mittag- oder Abendessen, wir sind jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert von der hervorragenden Qualität der Speisen. Die Gerichte sind nicht nur geschmacklich ein Highlight, sondern auch wunderschön angerichtet. Hier merkt man sofort, dass mit Liebe zum Detail und besten Zutaten gearbeitet wird. Neben der exzellenten Küche möchten wir auch die fantastische Atmosphäre hervorheben. Das Vulcano strahlt eine besondere Wärme und Gemütlichkeit aus, die den Aufenthalt zu einem echten Erlebnis macht. Dazu trägt vor allem das äußerst freundliche und aufmerksame Personal bei, das jeden Gast mit einem Lächeln empfängt und sich stets bemüht, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. The dishes are not only a highlight in terms of taste, but also beautifully prepared. Here you can immediately tell that they work with attention to detail and the best ingredients. In addition to the excellent cuisine, we would also like to highlight the fantastic atmosphere. The Vulcano radiates a special warmth and coziness that makes your stay a real experience. This is mainly due to the extremely friendly and attentive staff, who welcome every guest with a smile and always strive to fulfill all wishes. A special thank you goes to Emilia, who we also know and appreciate from the Gastrothek Ecke 9. With her warm manner, she always manages to make our visit even more pleasant. She radiates real joy in her work and treats her guests with a special sensitivity. Her commitment and professionalism are simply outstanding. The Vulcano restaurant impresses across the board - from the atmosphere to the service to the culinary highlights. We look forward to many more visits and can fully recommend it! Eigentlich immer lecker, aber dieses Mal waren Glasscherben im Essen unserer Tochter. Das Angebot war ein Heißgetränk als Entschädigung. Wie hatten das Essen dann auf der Rechnung. Im Nachhinein ärgere ich mich darüber, dass ich das Essen meine Tochter bezahlt habe. Da hätte wirklich Schlimmes passieren können.....

We were there on New Year's Eve and totally disappointed. The menu consisted of 3 pizzas that cost over €15 each and 3 pasta dishes that all cost over €20. The restaurant is super inflexible and couldn't make us a pizza margherita even though they had a children's version on the menu. We were not given a drink menu.

Delicious food, friendly staff. What's particularly great is that pizza and pasta are also gluten-free. Unfortunately, this is not (yet) a given these days. This makes the restaurant also great for people who need to eat gluten-free.

Has everything that makes an “Italian”. Food tastes good, not outstanding, but very good, nice people in service. Recommended.

During our visit a few days ago, no wishes were left unfulfilled. Super attentive and friendly service, delicious, spicy food in a pleasant atmosphere without excessive prices. My wife and I were simply thrilled. I would have written the review immediately if the cell phone or network had cooperated. In any case, I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

About six months ago I visited the Vulcano restaurant and enjoyed the delicious mussels there. After the season ended, I enthusiastically told my wife about the food and we decided to go again. I contacted the Vulcano Inn and asked them to let me know as soon as they had mussels on offer again. The restaurant also asked me to reach out again if I didn't hear back. Last week I did that and promptly received news that there were clams. A table for two people was reserved without any problems. After a 1.5-hour drive to the lake with my wife, we were greeted by a very courteous waitress who was always present but not intrusive. We enjoyed king prawns as a starter, followed by mussels as a main course and a delicious tiramisu for dessert. From start to finish everything was simply delicious. I would take the route again at any time and can recommend this restaurant to everyone. The steaks I've tried in the past have also been excellent. Many thanks to the entire team!

Were on vacation at Lake Constance and had dinner there one evening! Very tasty, nice staff and great ambience! Price performance is right, highly recommended.

We went here for dinner as a family of 4. The service is charming, friendly and very attentive. The food was really very good, came quickly and was hot. We were completely satisfied. Only the volume in the restaurant was a bit loud.

We barely got a table for two because we hadn't made a reservation. The mixed salad consisted mainly of leaf lettuce, a bit of carrots and 4 small tomatoes. That's not enough for a salad at an Italian restaurant for me. The base of my pizza (and that of my companion) was far too doughy and not particularly tasty. I didn't eat it all and expressed my distress to the waitress. An espresso on the house would probably have put things into perspective. But that leaves a bad aftertaste, unfortunately😳

I give 5 stars, Because the evening was perfect!! Very nice, cozy restaurant, with very friendly and attentive service staff! We had Pruscetta, Pulpo, Pasta, Vino etc... and were really excited!! Thank you very much, dear Vulkan o team

We stayed overnight in Radolfzell on a bike tour and decided on this pizzaria. The food was OK and the service was OK too, but there was way too much cheese on the pizza, not an interesting offering. Dr service was friendly and on point. It's more of a good value restaurant than a cozy Italian restaurant. I wouldn't recommend.

The price-performance ratio is really very good. We were a little disappointed with the food. My Penne al Arabiata was really weak... Some of the mixed salad was still frozen... Out of rating: It was very loud...

You get a very friendly welcome at Vulcano, the food was very tasty, I had Piccatta Milanese and my companion had a very exquisite tomato cream soup and pasta as a starter. I didn't finish my Milanese, but it was so tasty I took the rest with me. The service was super nice, very attentive and even brought us the coffee outside in the sun. We ate inside. We went to Ristorante & Pizzeria Vulcano twice. The pizza on the first visit was great. Exactly the same with the pick salad with pike perch on the second visit. The service was also perfect. It's a shame that we only discovered the Vulcano at the end of our vacation.

Good food. Relaxed atmosphere with very pleasant music. Bad service. There was a very friendly girl but the waiter who served us left a lot to be desired. If you don't speak German, it's better not to go because they talk bad about you to your face, thinking that you don't understand them. Edit after the local's response: I haven't made the wrong restaurant. I'm talking about this same one. We asked the waiter if he spoke English or Italian, as it was an Italian restaurant, and he replied in German that only German. He made no effort to communicate with us. When he paid the bill and didn't leave a tip, he started talking badly about us in German. They should take care of this type of behavior. I reaffirm what I said, I do not recommend it if you are not local or speak German

I recently visited the Vulcano restaurant with my wife and unfortunately I have to say that our visit was anything but satisfactory. The food was just okay – nothing to really remember. A big problem was the music, which was so loud that we could hardly converse. Despite several requests, the volume was not reduced, which made the entire experience very unpleasant. To make matters worse, our table was dirty from the previous one, which further spoiled the first impression. The waiters were unfriendly and inattentive. It seemed like they were more concerned with themselves and their colleagues than with the guests. We didn’t feel welcome and had the feeling that our concerns were not taken seriously. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend the Vulcano restaurant. We will consider other options in the future.

Great service, perfectly coordinated within the team and with the kitchen. The quality is perfect and sufficient quantities at normal prices. The service was very attentive and very well tailored to the wishes of the guests. Even if you had to wait a short time until a place became available, it was worth it. Here a lot of emphasis is placed on food, quality and service...perfect.

It was our first time here and we've never experienced anything like it. We quickly changed one of our orders again within 5 minutes. Does the cellar come with the previous order and with the new one. Since he misunderstood that we didn't want the menu we hadn't ordered, we had to discuss it with him first. As a punishment, he made us sit in the rain for half an hour and left an umbrella for other guests. Never again.

We discovered this restaurant based on recommendations and visited it as a group. The food was super tasty and the portions were good! The service was also very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. One point is deducted from the fact that there was no longer any gluten-free pizza, because that was actually the reason why we decided to visit this restaurant and our companion suffers from celiac disease and is therefore not allowed to eat gluten. Luckily there was also gluten-free pasta, which was also very tasty. All in all, I would still recommend this restaurant and definitely visit it again! ☺️

The food is simply very tasty and you don't have to wait long. The waitresses are very friendly and the young woman with glasses who works there is probably from Romania and is a top service person and so great with children 🫶🏻 she's great! Of course all other conditions are great too. The pizzas are great and the price for such great food is reasonable and not too expensive. ‼️ 1 star for the service 4 stars for the really delicious food. But service is part of it!!! I had on August 14th. Reserved a table for 3 people and said it was for a birthday. It wasn't even covered yet. When our main course came we had to wait longer for our drinks and the waiters ignored us. Even when we wanted to order dessert and more drinks. The waiters walk around empty-handed, very inattentive. This is very sad for the owner, every catering business depends on sales and that works best with attentive service, the food is very tasty. We paid and left and definitely won't visit Vulkano again.

Very nice restaurant, the food is ok but I've had better. Now to the service point, I wanted a dessert, but if you walk past paying customers 6 times and don't see the hand signal that you want something, it's outrageous. The young staff in this restaurant should be trained again. Unfortunately there will not be a repeat visit. Edit: This goes to the answer from my review. 1. I'm there with my mother and my wife. 2. Pizzas were very tasty. Customer friendliness is hard to find here. We were not once asked if the food was to our liking. And we didn't ask if we wanted something to drink. Very sorry. We were not even looked at at checkout. Staff walks around with very grumpy and arrogant faces.

The waiter is completely confused. Brings wrong drinks to the table. The replacement is forgotten! I find residues of something disgusting in the spaghetti. I don't even want to imagine that the food here is recycled. Just disgusting!!!

Finger weg! Gibt in Radolfzell genug andere Restaurants die alles besser machen! Die Pizza bekommt man beim Döner neben an Billiger und schmeckt gleich nur das man eben bei Vulcano 5-6€ mehr zahlt. Wenn man sich über z.b. eine verbrannte Pizza beschwert beim Eigentümer kann man auch so lustige antworten hören das die Pizza so sein muss und ich keine Ahnung hätte von Qualität😂 Fand ich auch sehr sympathisch das man als Kunde als dumm und dämlich dargestellt wird.. Die Tische waren zu den auch noch klebrig von den Leuten die vor uns da waren...ach was rede ich hab ja keine Ahnung die müssen wahrscheinlich kleben😂

Just great! Went for a short trip to Lake Constance and spontaneously came here for dinner in the evening. That was the best decision! Super friendly and competent staff. The food is excellent! We haven't eaten pizza this good in a long time! The homemade orange-lemon lemonade was also great! We're going on holiday to Radolfzell again next year and will definitely be back!!!

Waiter was unnecessarily unfriendly. The restaurant was empty and many people had already finished eating. Because I didn't want to sit in the sun, I moved the table by a few centimeters (!!!). Then a waiter came straight away and said there were other guests and they shouldn't move the table. He didn't just make a comment, he said it repeatedly and in an unnecessarily unfriendly tone. I would never harass guests, but as I said, no one sat next to us because the restaurant was almost empty. As a thank you, I received a stale, warm, non-carbonated cola. After complaining, another (nice) waitress brought a new one. Kindness is apparently overrated. You also received evil looks.

Had two pasta dishes and the medallions, which were super tasty. It's worth making a reservation. Even without a reservation, we quickly got a table with a bit of a wait.

Since my sons have celiac disease, we are always specifically looking for restaurants that offer gluten-free dishes. Based on the reviews on Google and the find me glutenfree app, I quickly came across Vulcano and was not disappointed. We were served very friendly and attentively, the children were very welcome and were given coloring books and pens without asking while they waited. When it comes to gluten-free food, the staff is extremely well trained and you feel very safe and in good hands. I can only recommend it, if we were from here we would come back immediately!

Last spring I was in town for vacation and was looking for a nice place to eat. We chose that place because it was quite close to our Airbnb and, well, we like pizza. The place didn't meet our expectations. I don't know if I saw rats or mice, but it was really concerning. My wife jumped and we cancelled our order. Seriously, what is that. I saw the owner insult people when he receives bad reviews. Well, he should just do something about the rats.

The boss is absolutely cheeky, doesn't feel like having parents with children, then brings the wrong pizza, we eat it and then he charges for the wrong pizza, then you ask for the price of the pizza you ate, then the waiter says 1 It costs less in euros, then the waiter calls out who served it incorrectly...the number I paid is one euro... now it turns out... but the pizza costs 3 euros less... we gave 40 instead of 42 So even one too many... and were treated like a... it's a disgrace to treat customers like that at such prices. Never visit with children...
