As new Holweiders, we had dinner there for the second time. Like the first time, everything was TOP! The service is very friendly and warm. The bread with the garlic-pickled olives was on the house. There was nothing wrong with the starter and the pizzas and everything tasted good. Dogs are welcome in the restaurant and are provided with water and, upon request, snacks. An extra thank you to the young woman with black curly hair. We look forward to coming back soon! P.s It is advisable to reserve a table even during the week. When we left the restaurant was full to capacity and that was on a Tuesday. P.p.s According to the bill, the grappa was also on the house.

Das Essen total überteuert Carpaccio kleiner Teller mit Trüffel die nach nichts geschmeckt haben, Ravioli mit Birne, der Teig war viel zu dick Geschmack nach Birne überhaupt nicht dazu kleinen Salat der aber wie ein normaler großer Salat berechnet wurde. Normalerweise ist das ein Show Essen ( 26,-€) im großen ausgehöhlten Parmesan werden die Spagetti serviert, bei Bedarf gabs Nachschlag, da aber keiner sonst das bestellte bekam mein Mann einfach nur Spagetti auf einen Teller mit etwas Parmesan + Trüffel der ebenso geschmacklos war dafür wurde der gleiche Preis berechnet 26,-€ berechnet. Allgemein waren die Speisen lieblos angerichtet, zu teuer dafür, das Weinglas 8,50€ ist auch überteuert. Wir haben 124,-€ bezahlt. Für italienisch essen nicht akzeptabel. Wir werden dort nicht mehr essen.

• First time eating at this “Italian”. • Typically Italian, we had prawns with potatoes, completely overcooked and poorly presented. Steak is also of poor quality and the meaning of medium rare would have to be explained to the kitchen again. • Strange staff because there was a strange amount of physical contact and awkward flirting • Waited for hours for the appetizer to be served; when asked, we hardly remembered the taste of it • Very loud “ambience” You could hardly understand what you were talking to • Highly unusual interior for an Italian, a mixture of a North Sea fish sandwich stall and Grandpa's Messi attic -> Price absolutely unjustified.

Disappointing Pasta was disappointing – hardly any seasoning and cooked way too soft. Didn't smell/taste fresh. Price/performance ratio does not match. Unfortunately not a restaurant that I would recommend.

Dear Rustico team, we have been coming to eat with you once a week for three years and have always been satisfied with the food and the service. Unfortunately we can't leave it like this anymore! We had booked a table for Friday on Wednesday. There was no reservation today and we sat outside 😳. The steak was more of a schnitzel and when my partner articulated this in the kitchen he was silenced with the sentence: he always had something to complain about. In three years we complained once that the food was too salty and once that the new salad dressing with Parmesan wasn't that great. After a week she disappeared again... Unfortunately we won't be coming back...

Very nice and attentive service! The aperitif (Riviera) was a great way to start the evening. The food was very tasty, we had a mixed seafood starter, the mussels au gratin and the fried tuna were great, everything else was also tasty and fresh. Papardelle with corn-fed chicken ragout was also very, very tasty. We'll definitely be back!

exactly the Italian restaurant you always enjoy going to; very friendly service; particularly delicious pizza and pasta (suggestion for improvement: the quality of the not good bread should be increased. Our visit to Il Rustico today was characterized by hospitality and love. We had our first visit to the restaurant today and I can't help but say we received an incredibly warm welcome. Every single employee was very friendly and attentive. Time was taken and all of our questions were answered with a warmth that was second to none. The children's questions were also answered lovingly. The restaurant is very chic and modernly decorated. A very high standard which is served here from the kitchen. One of the best pizzas I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The kitchen team does an incredibly good job here and leaves nothing to be desired. The freshness of the ingredients, the small nuances in the coordination, as well as the attention to detail are clearly reflected in the dish. Despite the fact that the boss is also in the kitchen himself, he always finds a few minutes for his guests and always has a smile on his face. We thank you for the delicious food, the great evening and look forward to your next visit.

Rarely have I seen such a good Italian...the pizza as well as the pasta and the scampi all aglio were a 10/10, we were definitely not there for the last time and you will see us more often in the future..the service was also tip top, very attentive service great Kudos to you.

A nice, cozy - but fortunately not over-decorated - restaurant run by Italians. We sat comfortably and were warmly served. We had scampi, vitello tonato, carpaccio, pizza, pasta and meat. Every dish was really delicious. We were completely satisfied and will definitely come back. If there's a reason to be sad, it's because we didn't notice Il Rustico much sooner.

For me the loveliest Italian around the corner... 😉 Still with the best pizza in Cologne!!!

Really delicious pizza, friendly staff and the option to sit outside on the terrace. We've been here twice and it definitely won't be the last time. Prices are on the higher side, but you can also taste the quality of the food. My truffle pizza cost 19 euros, other pizzas were around 12-15 euros.

Very good food, top service, while we were there with a group of around 20 people including children. Friendly, unobtrusive, every wish was quickly fulfilled.

We were there for the first time with our children. Overall, a very nice family business with good service. Why only 3 stars? We ordered vongole twice and were served good-smelling noodles with mussels, a good 60% of which were closed (i.e. not edible) and really tiny. I think that since you can already see it while preparing it, it doesn't have to be served to the guest. So in the end maybe 8 small mussels and noodles remained. The price is quite high for that. Of course we made the waitress aware of this and showed them the mussels, but in the end there was no serious reaction. We would have expected a little more. Nevertheless, it should be mentioned that the pizza was very tasty. We will definitely try there again at some point. All in all, it was a nice evening there, but I can't recommend it 100%. UPDATE: As announced, we were there again recently with a couple who were friends of ours. It was very tasty, great service. Everything worked out for us. The way the evening went, we would love to come back!

8:30 p.m First time visit. A curt reception, with the information that at this time there was only pizza; our impression: ok, are we a burden? The hunger was too great. Overall inattentive, despite 3 people in service and 2 in the kitchen. Food absolutely ok, no bread or anything like that in advance, more of a process of checking in than praising the food and drinks. Further drinks after aperitif only after friendly requests and waving towards the chatting waiter behind the counter. We felt more like a nuisance than a welcome customer. The conversations of the service staff were hierarchically higher than the interests of the customers, unless used dishes and tables could be cleared away. Finally, we kindly asked if you would like some brief feedback from us, as we weren't really satisfied; This was immediately waved away with the remark, “Then just don’t come back.” We are rather uncritical, rarely complain about anything, only when there are complaints - fortunately rarely - and then politely, knowing full well about the quarrels in the catering industry. Unfortunately that didn't work for us here. The gentlemen emptied a bottle of champagne behind the counter in a good mood. It's a shame about the delicious pizza.

Zum Schluss freundliche Frage, ob sie ein Feedback wollen, da wir nicht wirklichzufrieden wären, wurde abgewunken mit dem Hinweis, dann kommen Sie einfach nicht wieder. Wir sind eher unkritisch und höflich, aber das ging leider nicht. Schade um die leckere Pizza.

Es gibt sehr leckere Pizzen und Nudelgerichte, z.B. die Nudeln im Parmesanlaib. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, samt dem Team in der Küche. Auch für die kleinsten Gäste wird wunderbar gesorgt. Wir kommen wieder.

Seit Jahren mein Lieblingsitaliener in Köln. Tolle Qualität, wechselnde kreative Tagesangebote und sicherlich einer der ganz wenigen Italiener, wo man wirklich durchweg alles genießen kann. Für mich die beste Pizza in Köln aber auch alle anderen Gerichte wie Fleisch, Fisch etc. alles immer TOP. Sehr nettes familiengeführtes italienisches Restaurant mit super netten Service. Wenn mein Mann und Zeit haben gehen wir gern dort essen. Ich nehmen immer als Vorspeise Ziegenkäse . Mein absolut lieblingsgericht. Essen wird heiß und schnell serviert . Immer sehr freundlich. Preis Leistung stimmt .

Die Menüs super! Preis Leistung ist absolut gerechtfertigt. Ich hatte Gambas die toll gegart waren. Es gab Kartoffelspalten frisch gemacht mit Mangoldgemüse und noch einen kleinen Salat dazu. Eine Bedienung war etwas ernst, kann aber auch am vollen Restaurant gelegen haben. Ansonsten kann ich dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Schönes Lokal und freundlicher Service. Die Pizza war super lecker, der Teig und auch die Sauce qualitativ klasse. Die Tortellini der Tageskarte waren auch wirklich gut, aber leider viel zu wenig für den Preis. Was ich sehr lobenswert finde ist, dass alle vegetarischen Gerichte in der Karte markiert wurden!

Die Pizza und der Service waren perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Nach gewissen Vorbehalten, weil die vorherige Restaurantbesitzerin einfach unmögllich war, haben wir einen zweiten Versuch gewagt und sind nicht enttäuscht worden.

Staff molto gentile, abbiamo potuto cenare dopo le 21 - che ho scoperto che a Colonia non è così scontato! Ottima pizza e Spritz per sentirci a casa. Complice una calda serata estiva, è stato davvero super piacevole cenare all'aperto. Sicuramente ci torneremo la prossima volta che siamo in zona.

Absolut nicht weiterzuempfehlen! Die neuen Inhaber haben meine Mutter und mich total herab wertend behandelt. Ich verstehe nicht, warum manche Menschen so sind. Traurig aber wahr! Wir werden da nie wieder hin gehen!

Sehr sehr unfreundliche Kellnerin und unverschämt sie ist ausländerfeindlich als ich gefragt habe ob die auh Eis haben oder Waffeln wurde ich sofort raus gejagt sie hat so geantwortet als ob sie garnicht möchte das wir rein kommen sie meinte hier gibt es nichts absichtlich sie wollte uns nicht rein lassen sowas unverschämten überhaupt nicht weiter zum empfehlen

Wir waren am 04.06.22 hier und sind sehr begeistert. Unsere Nudelgerichte waren vorzüglich und auch die Speisen der anderen Gäste sahen sehr lecker aus. Es gibt eine gut gefüllte Speisekarte und eine wechselnde Tageskarte. Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, man kann zusehen, wie die Speisen bereitet werden und die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Gerne werden wir hierhin wiederkommen. Ganz klare Empfehlung.

Katastrophe! Wir waren zum Frauenabend dort. Einige von uns haben gegessen und einige nur etwas getrunken. Wir waren nur für eine Stunde dort. Die Inhaberin hat uns beschimpft, weil nicht alle etwas gegessen haben. Dies sei ein Verlustgeschäft für sie gewesen. Der Laden sei kein Kaffee sondern ein Restaurant. Wenn man dahin geht sollen auch gefälligst alle essen. Ich war einige Male mit meinem Mann dort essen. Bisher gab es keine Beanstandungen jedoch ist diese Art von Denken nicht hinnehmbar. Nicht jeder hat Appetit. Wollen die jetzt ein Paar, bei dem nur einer ißt rausschmeißen, weil es ein Verlustgeschäft ist? Ich wünsche diesem Laden nichts gutes mehr und hoffe, dass die mit dieser Einstellung dicht machen. Ich werde allen Bekannten, die auch gerne dort waren empfehlen, diesen Laden zu vermeiden. Anscheinend denken einige, wenn der Laden gut läuft kann man seine Gäste wie Dreck behandeln. Unverschämt ist ein solches Gebaren. :ps Bei Ihrer Antwort gehen sie anscheinend von einem anderen Fall aus. Wir waren alle mit 2g plus in Ihrem Lokal.

Mein neues Lieblingsrestaurant. Das Carpaccio mit Trüffel ist ein absoluter Traum. Auch das Ambiente ist sehr zum wohlfühlen. Freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Die Preise sind moderat und für die frische absolut vertretbar.

Es war ein sehr angenehmer Restaurant-Besuch. Ich komme wieder...

Die Auswahl ist groß, das Essen lecker und die Mitarbeiter sind nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Trotz der aktuell angespannten Corona Lage wurden alle Hürden mit Humor gemeistert. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und die Einrichtung stilvoll. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend mit leckerem Essen in netter Gesellschaft. Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Allerdings hat der Service wohl nicht die oberste Priorität. Wir mussten jedesmal warten, bis uns Jemand beachtete und wir etwas bestellen durften.
