The food was ok + the fact that the pizza took about 1 hour was absolutely fair/thumbs up. The only shame I found was that there were starters, but they came during the main course.

That was the worst thing that happened to us today. We waited for 2 hours and ended up not getting anything to eat. You never know if you're waiting because the place is busy or they just forgot the order.

We waited for more than 1.5 hours for pizza. Then, we had to leave to eat something in a different place. They wasted our evening.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed this time. The food came before the drinks, the pizza was lukewarm and not crispy. And above all, they sell spaghetti made from parmesan, but there was little parmesan in it, just cream! And unfortunately the truffles didn't taste like truffles at all. And after we told the waitress, when we paid she just said yes, he put cream in it. Not worth €20. And it was way too loud. We don't come here anymore.

Food was very good had a tuna pizza. Nice service only if you have the choice don't sit at the table for two by the stairs. Reservations would be good

We were there on a Saturday and had to wait 50 minutes for the food. The service was unfriendly. For a "Frutti di Mare" pizza the seafood selection was disappointing and the prawns were dry and al dente. I wouldn't recommend the pannecotta either, as the fruit sauce tasted extremely artificially sweet and sour.

It's been a long time since I've been able to eat a really bad pizza. The appetizer even came before the drinks, and service, if available, was rarely seen. Pizza arrived after about 50 minutes, and when I asked if it would take longer there was no answer and no apology. About the pizza: sour tomato sauce, rubbery pizza, one of the worst pizzas in Stuttgart in 25 years. No longer worth a visit!!

Absolute recommendation for classic pizza/pasta dishes. Reservations should be made for larger groups and generally at peak times.

We were a group of 8 people on a Saturday evening. The service was completely overwhelmed. It was not clear who was responsible for us. We constantly had to wave the service staff over several times. The drinks were served without a tray. You constantly had the feeling that the full glasses were slipping out of your hands. The food was not well prepared. The pizza base was way too soft. An ingredient was missing from my pizza. I complained about this to the staff. It was said: "That's how it should be". Even though it said otherwise on the menu. The grilled vegetable platters were carelessly prepared and were completely bland. In addition, no appetizer plates were brought to us. We had to eat from the plates. The vinegar and oil cruets were almost empty. We then helped ourselves at the neighboring table. But the menages were also almost empty. Only a small bread basket was brought for 8 people. By the time the second bread basket arrived, we had already eaten the starter. The salad was poorly marinated. There was only dressing on the top layer.

This restaurant has everything you could want for a cozy evening: a quaint, welcoming atmosphere, warm service and incredibly delicious food. You can tell that a lot of love and fresh ingredients are worked here. The pasta and homemade pizzas in particular are an absolute highlight. Special requests are also taken into account! :) Always happy

There were 2 of us and we paid for each person Ordered starter, main course and dessert and 2 large drinks and only paid €57. It was very tasty, very beautiful and the prices are extremely fair!! Always very happy. Staff also super nice. Even though it was full, the food came very quickly. We're there at 6 p.m.

We had reserved a table for 6 people for Friday 12/13/24 at 8:30 p.m. We also received a reservation confirmation. The table wasn't reserved and because it was full we were turned away.

We were there for the Christmas party yesterday and it was great! Ambience great, food very tasty and nice boss and staff. All the starters looked delicious and everyone enjoyed them too. I had the soft cheese with bacon, great!

Went there again to eat after a very, very long time. Songs too loud and very tight seating. Pizza average. There are better pizzarias.

Average food, nothing special I tried Rigatoni Bolognese al Forno and the Pizza Giallo. The rigatoni was okay in terms of taste, but nothing that really impressed me - solid, but without that certain kick. The Giallo pizza had good toppings that were fresh and flavorful, but I was disappointed by the dough: it was neither fluffy nor thin, as you would expect from a good pizza. Overall a mediocre experience - you can eat here, but there are definitely better options.

First of all, the positive: the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Ordered rigatoni bolognese. These were extremely bland in taste. The name "bolognese" was misleading because there was almost no meat in the tomato sauce. Pizza probably would have been a better choice.

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend in größerer Runde. Service war freundlich, Essen (Pasta, Gnocchi, Pizza) kam in guter Zeit und allen hat es geschmeckt. Die Portion der Gnocchi könnte etwas größer sein, dafür ist der Nachtisch umso üppiger.

Sehr netter Service, Essen kommt schnell, ist super lecker alles Spagetti Marinara ein Geheimtipp, Pizzas und überbackene Rigatoni waren ebenfalls genial im Geschmack. Das Ambiente hat uns ebenfalls gut gefallen, mal was anderes mit der Holztäfelung echt old Stuttgart Style. Preis-Leistungs ist auch gut.

4 of us were here with friends. The food itself is ok, the pizza is still just fine although it is quite soft on the edge or maybe too wet. I know this differently and you can eat better in Stuttgart. The espresso is a complete disaster, sorry guys, but you can't call it espresso, you can call it coffee grounds mixed with water.

Very nice restaurant! Very good pasta and pizza. Super fast service (maybe because there were few people). On the other hand, when we asked for dessert, we were told that it was closing (it was 8:40 p.m.). Maybe here they eat early, we didn't really look. The waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Staff very friendly, the food was a complete disappointment. The menu offers spaghetti made from parmesan cheese. (although you don't have a parmesan loaf. We got spaghetti with different types of cheese from the microwave.

I discovered this place by chance. Everything was occupied. I just got a single table behind the door. Food was very tasty. It took a while but it was worth it. The restaurant is actually very quaint but very, very loud. Overall, definitely recommended.

We made a reservation on Google or we might have had to sit at the tables outside. We went on the weekend around 19:00 and it was quite crowded. We ordered pizza and penne rigate. The pizza dough was very delicious. We were very pleased. The pasta was not homemade but the sauce was nice. After the meal, we ordered tiramisu. It wasn't like anything I ate in Italy, but it wasn't bad.

Bad service and long waiting times, that's what other reviews say. We waited over an hour for two pizzas. It was only on the second complaint that we were told that there weren't enough plates and that we still had to wait. The pizzas that were ordered to go were sent out during this time. We canceled our pizza and had to pay for the drinks.

Schliesse mich an.. seit 10 Jahren dort Gast muss ich jetzt ein ‚nie wieder!‘ loswerden. Gehört nicht mehr in die Rangliste! Am Tisch freundlich dann laut über die Gäste kommentieren.. geht nicht! Der Tisch hatte noch Speisereste vom Vortag auf der Dekoservierte für das Öl und unterm Tisch lagen Essensreste. Die Spaghetti marinara essen wir hier seit Jahren.. und leider haben wir sie dieses Mal zurück gegeben. Dafür dann laute Kommentare des Chefs und des Pizzabäckers durch den ganzen Betrieb erhalten. ‚Was hat Die gesagt?‘ ‚dass sie schon mal hier war, da wars nicht so!‘ Was ich gesagt habe lieber Wirt: Wir kennen Euren Stil. Wir kennen den Geschmack warum wir immer gern hergekommen sind. Heute wars ungenießbar und ekelig! Und leider hast Du uns jetzt verloren. Frag doch lieber am Tisch als es durch den Laden zu brüllen wenn wir direkt daneben sitzen. So vergrault ihr Eure Nachbarschaft. Voll schade!

Two stars for the pizza. There was nothing else. Not even salad or pasta and that on a Sunday evening. So prime time. The store isn't full, but you still have to wait an hour for a pizza. Service is annoying if you still want espresso. Not worth a visit. Price performance poor.

Unfortunately the worst spaghetti carbonara I've ever had. Bruscetta was fine but the main course was bad.

I can't say anything amazing or bad about this restaurant. The pizza was good and reasonably priced but nothing amazing. The pasta was good but very rich and slow to come out. Reasonably priced, 4/5 food.

The guest is obviously a disruptive factor. The staff would rather chat and joke than ask the guest what they want. It's easier to find something on the menu that isn't there than to have a nice selection of food.

The pizza here is really, really tasty. That's just what we came for. You can sit outside when the weather is good, but it's not comfortable. The staff is nice.

It's a real Italian wood baked Pizza, so rare this reality in town

If you have time and don't value good food, you've come to the right place! Appetizers came 45 apart!!! Minutes still partially frozen. Service reacts poorly and says it's normal for Saturdays. Prices are unreasonably high.

Unfriendly service. Arrived at 7 p.m. and after 2 hours of waiting, the starter arrived, which was actually frozen. There was total chaos and overwhelm. Can't recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunately we are disappointed today. The two of us ordered salad, pizza bread and pasta. All the dishes came one after the other, the last one after well over an hour. The quality isn't particularly great either. No recommendation.

Food was very tasty, waitress a little annoyed and sitting outside in the evening is not recommended right on the street and there is a loud pub next door.

It's just gotten really bad!! We have been going to Il Pomodoro for years and have always been very satisfied, be it the service or the quality. Both have declined significantly since the change of ownership. You could also sit next door in La Concha (pub) and order something to eat (which is no longer possible), even if you want to order your food to take away, the waitress very rudely refuses, saying yes it is the kitchen closed even though the kitchen was still open. This wasn't an isolated case otherwise I wouldn't be writing this review here. We had tried it several times in the last few months and each time we had a different excuse! It's a shame because I enjoyed coming here to eat. You're definitely getting rid of me and a few other friends as guests.

Update June 8, 2024. We had reserved for 8:30 p.m. and the table was ready within 5 minutes. Order within 5 minutes. Waiting for 3 pizzas 50 minutes. Pizza wasn't baked crispy. And we were angry because no one had prepared us for this very long wait. We asked 3 times after minute 30. Pizzas in boxes kept coming out. We didn't get any information and nobody asked for drinks. At the end (when paying) we told another woman from the service that it was being handled poorly. She then offered us an espresso on the house. That was too late and then unimportant. Thanks, we'll eat our pizza somewhere else in the future.

Wir waren öfters im Pomodore. Das Lokal, gehört jetzt aber nicht mehr zu den guten. Beim letzten mal war nicht mal eins von fünf essen ausreichend gut. Wir werden da nicht mehr hingehen.

The pizza here is outstanding! Straight from the wood-fired stone oven to your plate. It's best to sit outside on the square, then you can enjoy your meal in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

Pretty busy. You are right on a street and many pedestrians walk past. The service takes a long time and the offer was not available as on the menu.

The pizzas are really tasty, but the atmosphere and ambience have deteriorated over the last few months and years. The prices have been increased several times. For a simple pizza with hardly any toppings over €15 is a bit TOO much.

UPDATE Definitely won't be coming here anymore... three weeks after our last visit we haven't received any salads, pasta or other starters again... without warning. That's why we tried to call ahead and inquire, but no one answered the phone even after the third attempt. Then they brought us to the table and only pointed out again when we ordered that there was only pizza available.. From a logistical point of view, it's just a juice shop... then at least write it down online... So looking forward to the pasta... after we sat down, unfortunately a pasta and salad stop was announced until further notice. The explanation was then: They accepted too many tables and pizza is faster... we reserved the table here 3 months in advance and think it's such a shame and so poorly organized that unfortunately I can't give it more than one star. It's better to have fewer people and keep 100% service and offer...

Solid pizzas, but not really outstanding. Service virtually invisible and underground. First you are left waiting at the door for 10 minutes, then another 10 minutes at the table without cards (by the way, you could also wipe it before new guests are seated). Then you sit forever with empty drinks and empty plates until you pay. Despite a generous tip for the virtually non-existent service, not a hint of gratitude. There are 5 stars for the young man at the pizza oven, obviously the only attentive employee that evening.

Früher mal das Beste Restaurant in Stuttgart, mausert man sich zum Schlechtesten. Es hat sich nun nicht nur die Qualität miserabel verschlechtert, Nein die Preise Teilweise um bis zu 70% erhöht. Eine absolute Frechheit. Nach dem Betreiber Wechsel ist echt alles den Bach runter. Von früher beleiben nur Erinnerungen. Schade! Wir waren früher mehr mals die Woche da. Aber das war unser letzter Besuch.

The staff is very friendly, all appreciation! The restaurant has a beautiful interior, the toilets are clean, it's not too crowded so it's easy to breathe. They also have a beautiful garden in front of the restaurant. Everything was fresh, tasty and the prices were completely reasonable. Special praise for the antipasti dish shown in the pictures; we were speechless what a flavor combination it was!!!

Delivery of Saltimbocca a la romana was cold, potatoes missing and the sauce was only cheap fat liquid. Ham seems to come from the supermarket. Absolut desaster, I will never order again there.

With a little benevolence I still give it 3 stars. The service was friendly and we liked the atmosphere. However, I didn't like my Gnocchi Tartufo at all and didn't look appetizing either. Very little flavor, the sauce wasn't creamy at all, almost watery.

I ordered the carbonara pasta to take away. They were already cold when we picked them up. I've eaten a lot of carbonara pasta, but none were as bad as this one. Bacon completely burnt, sauce not creamy and what felt like only oil, I felt really sick from eating it. I will never order there again.

Wir waren als 6er Gruppe extrem enttäuscht. Das Essen hat keinem besonders gut geschmeckt (jeder hatte was anderes). Der Service war miserabel, das letzte Essen kam nach 1,5 Stunden, als der Rest schon fertig gegessen hatte. Und schmeckte nicht. Der Chef wollte es wiedergutmachen, lehnte aber einen Preiserlass für ein Essen ab. Weil es schon gebucht war! Schwach! Stattdessen wollte er uns Café oder Dessert aufnötigen, wir waren aber schon am Gehen. Die geschenkte Flasche Wein hat es auch nicht mehr gerichtet. Hier würde ich echt nicht mehr hingehen.

Delicious pizza, but I recommend taking a close look at the prices and asking again. The menus that can be found on the Internet differ from the actual prices. I ordered a small Margherita pizza with eggplant added and no cheese for emphasis. I then got a large pizza where the price was not for a Margherita with eggplant but for an Melanzane. This one is more expensive, probably because it has buffalo mozzarella on it. I paid €16.50 instead of the €9 I was expecting, probably for cheese that I didn't even want. Some of the eggplant wasn't cooked yet. I don't think it's fair. So I can't recommend ordering eggplant. My wife ordered a Vegetariana and instead of great vegetables there were just a few carrots and zucchini slices on it. I think it's a good pizzeria but these factors just annoyed me... Next time I'm in Stuttgart I'll eat somewhere else, unfortunately it's just not worth the price :(

Was OK. We expected a little more from the dough for a wood-fired pizza.

The pizza dough is good, but only on the crust, otherwise it's too thin. Everything else was below average: the spritzer was stale, the cannelloni was poor and the service was not customer-oriented.

It was very cozy as it was a bit old fashioned. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food came quickly too. The first impression from the outside wasn't so good, but from the inside it was even better.

Rigatoni al forno was served cold, and unfortunately it wasn't any better even after reheating it. Very watery consistency with hardly any taste. Tagliatelle with salmon: Unfortunately, very thin spaghetti was used instead of tagliatelle. It was quite a mess and unfortunately not tasty. Menu littered with handwritten price increases. Very unsightly sight. Unfortunately no recommendation.

Great service, the pizza definitely has room for improvement - the dough is super tasty, but unfortunately the toppings didn't convince us. Vegetables on the Verdure were raw (zucchini and carrots were al dente), olives on the Il Pomodoro pizza were not of high quality - a shame.

Very tasty pizza. The dough is always fluffy and crispy. The garlic and chilli oil tastes great with the pizza crust. If you come before 7.20 p.m. the waiting time for food isn't long. We'd love to come back :)

Puh, die Pizzen kamen entweder kalt und teigig oder verbrannt an den Tisch. Den Käse musste man suchen. Der Belag schmeckte sehr billig und nicht hochwertig. Bei der Carbonara keine Spur von Cremigkeit, stattdessen Nudeln in Eiersuppe. Der Service war sehr nett, aber nicht sehr schnell und aufmerksam.
