We received a very friendly welcome and service during a short lunch. The wine and food were very good. The chef was typically Italian and took care of everything. I highly recommend it.

The food is still very good. 🍽 Service is always present and prompt. 😁 Across the street during our visit, "Waiblingen erfrischt" was playing, so it had background music. 🎶 Thank you for the lovely evening.

I had looked at the menus of more than 10 restaurants beforehand and decided on this one because it had some very unusual dishes (including vegetarian ones!) on the lunch menu. We were all the more disappointed when we found out that the lunch menu, which can be viewed online, was already out of date and none of the dishes were available. Instead of homemade linguini in a chestnut and oyster mushroom salsa, refined with zucchini, zoodles and blackberries for €12, I simply had tortellini with ham for €15. My mother is vegetarian, and there was nothing on the lunch menu for her. She had no choice but to eat pizza. It's really annoying when you choose the restaurant specifically because of the unusual karate. The manager apologized afterwards, but that didn't help us because the person who took our order unfortunately couldn't offer a vegetarian option. We only received an apology for our inconvenience, but no espresso or other compensation. The water was served exclusively in pre-opened water bottles. These were sealed with a fancy glass cap, but honestly, they could have just as easily been tap water. I actually expected to receive a sealed bottle. The quality of the food served was average and nowhere near what I expected. The pizza didn't rise as nicely around the edges as in the other photos online, and the tortellini with ham was, unfortunately, not particularly sophisticated aside from the decoration. I really expected something different here and am still giving it a generous 3 stars. I was actually extremely annoyed that day!

We were there last night on a recommendation and were not disappointed! Everything was fantastic. The pasta is homemade, and all dishes are prepared fresh to order. We received a welcome from the kitchen, which was excellent. The service was quick, solution-oriented, and courteous, rounding off our evening perfectly. Thank you for that. :) The price-performance ratio was excellent and fair for the quality.

Il Divo in Waiblingen is a truly outstanding Italian restaurant in Waiblingen's beautiful old town. The appetizers prepared by chef Toni were truly delicious, as was the pasta. The taste was wonderful. Great service. Very good food. And, to top it all off, the staff was friendly. And that applies not only to chef Toni, but to the entire service staff. A beautiful piece of Italy in Svevia. A beautiful piece of Italy in the heart of Swabia.

The cuisine features classic Italian dishes that are well-prepared, made with fresh ingredients, and are a good value for money. Ideal for a relaxing evening with friends or as a couple. The Il Divo restaurant is beautifully located, right on Waiblingen's market square. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside. The pizza and pasta are delicious, and the staff are attentive and humorous. On weekends (especially in good weather), Friday through Sunday, I recommend making a reservation.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service was very friendly. Unfortunately, we were seated very close together with a birthday party. It is to be expected that it can get loud in such a group and this was not a problem. In addition to the music in the restaurant, the boss was watching films on his cell phone (Facebook/Instagram) and playing them so loudly that conversation was impossible. We decided not to subject ourselves to the noise any longer and had dessert and another drink in the restaurant next door. It's a shame when you go to a restaurant and want to enjoy the restaurant and the food. Of course the boss can do whatever he wants in his own restaurant... This review is not meant to be a criticism, but rather a suggestion. What a shame for the lovely restaurant.

The food was very tasty, a bit expensive but tasty! We were there on a Saturday evening and there was a DJ. Well meant, but it was hard to understand each other, the music was too loud. That spoiled the evening a bit.. If necessary. Another day calmer and more pleasant.

The service quality was very poor. The place was not air conditioned and extremely hot.

Despite the restaurant being full, the service staff was very friendly and quick to serve. The boss radiates a great aura and puts people in a good mood with his authentic, relaxed manner. The food (we ordered Pasta Martino) is a 10 out of 10 and a pure taste explosion. The atmosphere (we sat outside) is also very inviting. I can only recommend this restaurant to everyone. It's absolutely worth it 👍🏼

Everyone take a deep breath! You don't eat in a star restaurant here. The food is really good but the service can be improved. Talk a little less and discuss more who is responsible for which table. The team is nice and hard working!

Pizza and pasta are worth 5 stars every time. Salad was OK. I'm used to different service. Although we (4 people) were almost alone in the restaurant at 6 p.m., we had to wait 1 hour for our 2 starters. The drinks had been empty for a long time in the meantime. Nevertheless, no service representative came. The pizzas came about an hour later. The remaining 2 main courses again 15 minutes later, so that the first ones had already finished eating.

Unfortunately, our visit to the restaurant was marked by a few shortcomings. The greeting by the bad-tempered waitress left a negative first impression, which unfortunately was confirmed over the course of the evening. The Limoncello Sour, which we ordered as an aperitif, deserves a positive mention. In terms of taste it was very successful! Happy to develop further! Unfortunately, the starter, a Vitello Tonnato, completely disappointed us in terms of taste. The characteristic flavor of the tuna sauce was completely missing. When we asked, we were told that other guests had complained that the tuna taste was too strong. The result, however, was that we could no longer perceive any of the taste at all. However, it must be mentioned that the Vitello Tonnato was beautifully presented and the meat was tender. The main courses, Pasta Tim and Pasta Anna, were also not convincing. In the Pasta Tim, the announced pears were replaced by mushrooms without any information. With the Pasta Anna, the Bolognese sauce was far too watery and could definitely have been cooked longer. The choice of drinks also left a lot to be desired. When we asked about the beer selection, we were not told about the Moretti and Peroni varieties, although we later saw at other tables that these beers were being served. Overall, the restaurant unfortunately didn't impress us that evening. Improvements in service and cuisine are urgently needed to provide guests with a satisfactory experience!

Even though the service was poor and the pizza was exchanged without anyone, I was charged twice for the ingredients on the bill. That's a no-go.

Toni and his team are wonderful. We celebrated our wedding at Il Divo and enjoyed an unforgettable day with delicious food, great service and incredibly beautiful decorations. Great recommendation, we will definitely come back.

I spent 8 weeks in Italy every year when I was a child and I have to say that I have rarely eaten such good Italian food. In my opinion, the prices are more than reasonable for the quality. Please please keep it up!

Here you can sit very nicely on the Waiblingen market square. But the area is also attractively and modernly furnished. The service has a great Italian charm. You quickly feel at home here. The food is of high quality with a very good price/performance ratio

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff informed us that the kitchen wouldn't open for another hour, but only after we ordered and received the drinks. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't have any change and rounded it up from 8.30 to 9 euros. Such service is unacceptable and leaves a negative impression.

Our friend Tony was here to serve us well, he is really friendly and heartwarming, he can guide you through to have the beat experience at his restaurant. The food was really good, the pizza dough was handmade and fluffy, good ingredients and great service! We will come again and certainly i can recommend this place!

Einfach tolle Speisen, wird immer besser. Man merkt die Liebe zum Produkt und die Leidenschaft zum Kochen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Atmosphäre ebenfalls toll.

Waren am 26.08 im Restaurant, 4 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder, Tisch draußen. Essen kam schnell, war lecker, zu empfehlen. Eine tolle Auswahl an Pizzen. Service war sehr gut, sehr aufmerksam, höflich, kam meinem Wunsch bezüglich dem Dessert entgegen, was mich sehr gefreut hat (Tiramisu). Am Ende gabs noch ein Limoncello aufs Haus, diese "Kleinigkeiten" machen für mich/uns viel aus, danke. LG

Sehr Leckeres essen, Tolles Ambiente mitten am Marktplatz.

Das Positive vorweg. Das Essen war geschmacklich recht gut und bei schönem Wetter kann man inmitten der Waiblinger Altstadt sehr schön im Freien sitzen. Nicht ganz so Positiv waren die etwas langen Wartezeiten und das unaufmerksame Personal. Die Weinkarte wurde uns z.B. erst auf Nachfrage angeboten. Als Hauptgericht hatte ich Canelloni bestellt. Das Gericht war dann mit 2 Canelloni für 16 € doch sehr übersichtlich bzw. klein ausgefallen. Satt wird ein erwachsener Mensch davon nicht mit Sicherheit nicht. Nach dem Servieren des Hauptgerichts wurden wir nicht mehr beachtet und es wurde auch lange Zeit nicht nachgefragt ob wir noch ein Dessert wünschen. Stattdessen unterhielt man sich lieber mit den intalienischen Landsleuten an den Nachbartischen. Auch auf die Rechnung mussten wir dann noch Mal etwas länger warten. Geschmacklich hat der Laden sicherlich potential schwächelt aber leider etwas bei den genannten Punkten. Beim nächsten Mal bevorzuge ich dann doch lieber wieder den Italiener direkt nebenan. Da stimmen sowohl Geschmack, Preis/Leistung und auch der Service.

Wunderbarer Italiener in Waiblingen! Das Essen war köstlich und das Ambiente ist spitzenmäßig, nur muss Zeit mitgebracht werden. Auf individuelle Wünsche wurde eingegangen und in unserem Fall, ein toller Nachtisch mit einem Geburtstagsgruß an den Tisch gebracht.

Reserviert und um 21.10 wurde das Restaurant geschlossen, wir mussten einfach gehen weil zu wenig Leute da waren. Unmöglich!! Obwohl das Restaurant bis 23 Uhr geöffnet hätte sein sollen. Musik viel zu laut, Servicekraft isst lieber selbst serviert den Kaffee ohne Nachtisch, als der Kaffee fast leer kommt der Nachtisch!! Sehr unprofessionell. Kein zweitesmal.

Das Essen war lecker aber nicht 5-Sterne lecker. Dafür auch recht teuer. Aber etwas fürs Auge ist die Art und Weise wie das Essen angerichtet ist allemal. Die Bedienung war sehr symphatisch

Hallo , ich war am Samstag Abend in diesem herrlichen Restaurant. Hier ist eine tolle Atmosphäre. Man sitzt mitten auf dem Marktplatz gemütlich bei Kerzenschein, kleine Tische, gemischtes Publikum. Sehr freundliche, charmante Bedienung. Ich hatte das Gericht Il Torro bestellt. Hammer lecker. Die Wartezeit war sehr lang, deshalb hatte ich Brot und Olivenöl bestellt. Am besten Ihr bestellt für alle als Vorspeise die Piizza, dann kann man gut warten. Ich fands toll, ein Lokal für die Sinne.🙏

Man sitzt sehr schön direkt auf dem Marktplatz. Bedienung meist sehr freundlich - sofern sie einen bemerkt...! Pizza mit verkohltem Rand und verkohltem Basilikum, nach (unkomplizierter) Reklamation stattdessen nicht durchgebackenes Exemplar erhalten. Garnelen zu den Gnocchi offensichlich älteres Semester, da sie aber mehr als durchgegart waren, vermutlich trotzdem harmlos. Highlight des Essens war der wirklich genial gute Cappuccino zum Abschluß. Mußten 3x um die Rechnung bitten, um sie nach 45min endlich zu erhalten. Sehr durchwachsenes Erlebnis, zum Essengehen nicht zu empfehlen.

Personal sehr bemüht, daß man sich wohl fühlt. Essen sehr lecker. Bei schönem Wetter kann man draußen sitzen (Sonnenschirme vorhanden). Parkplätze in der Marktgarage.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen abends Essen und hatten glücklicherweise reserviert. Es war ein schöner Tisch und das Essen hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch die Aperitife waren sowohl visuell als auch geschmacklich attraktiv.

Ich würde am liebsten keinen Stern geben, aber das Essen war gut. Vorspeise bisschen klein für den Preis aber ok. Das war der letzte Besuch in diesem Restaurant, so unfreundlich wurden wir noch nie behandelt. Auf die Frage „Wie ist der Speck auf der Pizza? Sind es Speckwürfel oder Speckstreifen“ bekamen wir die Antwort „Ich kann das auch Vorkauen für dich“ Während dem Essen ist ein Glas zu Bruch gegangen, das wurde noch mit 5€ berechnet. Was ich so auch noch nie erlebt hatte.

Já começa com a simpatia do atendimento. A entrada com a sopa pomodoro já abre nosso paladar para o que vem a seguir Provamos duas massas maravilhosa o nhoque a gorgonzola e a massa com fileto de carne Argentina estavam fantásticos.

Wartezeit etwas lange ! Essen nichts besonderes außer der Preis für ein paar Nudeln ! Besonders ist was anderes Muss nicht sein

Einfach leckeres Essen, sehr freundlicher Service. Ob Pizza oder Pasta, alles zu empfehlen. Direkt am Marktplatz mit Terrasse, aber unbedingt reservieren.
