Registered for a birthday party, the table was decorated with love, the staff was very attentive, even the small wishes were kindly fulfilled, the food was excellent, everything was excellent and freshly prepared. We'll be happy to come back, customer satisfaction is a thing of the past, we call what's on offer here customer enthusiasm, this is now "our Italian" and we're looking forward to the next time.

A real insider tip for a good Italian in Ingolstadt and the surrounding area. The service is good and very accommodating. You should definitely make a reservation on the weekend. Because the restaurant is very busy. Unfortunately we had to leave once without a reservation. The ambience is also very appealing.

The Cavallo offers everything you need for a successful evening. A young and motivated staff, very pleasant atmosphere with Italian music in the background. Excellent food, both pizza and pasta is highly recommended and there are also very appealing dishes on the weekly menu.

Unfortunately the visit was a disappointment for us. We made reservations for 5 people on a Friday at 7pm. The table was previously occupied and we were only able to occupy it at 7:30 p.m. We waited a whole 2 hours for our pizzas!!! The noodles came after 1 hour. We were kept waiting without clear communication. We were not informed when ordering that the pizzas would take longer, so perhaps we would have chosen a different dish. We were offered a limoncello as an apology. Since there were a few drivers among us, we politely declined, but unfortunately no alternative was suggested. The waiters always tried to be friendly, but you could tell that the situation also made them uncomfortable. The pizzas were good, nothing more. Under these conditions I would not recommend the restaurant, although the atmosphere is inviting.

My family and I visited the Audi Forum on a Sunday. In the afternoon we got an appetite for Italian cuisine, so we searched Google Maps and found this restaurant. Super nice, friendly and attentive staff. The food was really tasty and appetizingly prepared. Even the little things were taken care of, like serving my son his dish at the same time as our starter. You can pay by card or cash! Unfortunately the restaurant is too far away from us, but if we are in the area again, we will definitely come here again.

The three of us had a delicious meal on Saturday. My son and daughter-in-law came from Munich. They were very surprised at what lovely appetizers they were served. High quality and everything perfect and fresh.

Unfortunately it went from being an absolute regular to a bad Italian restaurant. Since the chef has unfortunately been gone for two weeks, absolutely nothing is going on there. Unfortunately, waiting times of up to 3 hours are now part of the program. We have given the restaurant a chance 3 times since the chef change, and 3 times nothing has changed. The pizza is still good, but the food from the kitchen just isn't anymore. After constructive criticism, you are greeted with an espresso on the house. Unfortunately, organization in the restaurant among the employees is no longer what it used to be. I feel very sorry for the young, motivated waitresses because they want to do a very good job.

Always pre-order our pizza online here. This all works without any problems. Payment and collection are no problem either. Pizza is very good, it could just stay in the oven for a little longer as it is sometimes very brown to black, but otherwise everything is fine.

A really, really good Italian restaurant that you wouldn't necessarily expect to find at a horse farm in Hagau. Very tasty pizzas, great pasta dishes, a small but nice menu. This was our second time. Everything was excellent on the first visit. Waiter was familiar with products and explained/recommended everything well. Food came quickly, at the same time (table of 4) and was excellent! Yesterday (May 4th, 2024) a lot went wrong. We were ignored at first, the staff were unfamiliar with the menu and the dishes came to the table 45 (!) minutes apart (there were four of us). Even 2x ravioli couldn't be served together. We also had three different waitresses. At the end we had to have the bill changed twice because drinks and food were also listed that we didn't have. Shortly before leaving, another dish came to our table (after 2 hours) which we (luckily) had already received by then. I also noticed that my ravioli portion was smaller than my wife's and the late wrong delivery was also significantly larger. The taste and quality of the food was very good and we were once again more than satisfied. We had 1x salami pizza, 1x rigatoni (I think) and 2x porcini mushroom ravioli. Plus caprese, bruscetta, various wines, etc. Everything was arranged in a visually appealing way, including wine cooling. Still, the chaos yesterday was a bit too much for my liking. Other guests were also affected. We probably only accepted this because our round was still pleasant and we weren't under any time pressure. Food 5⭐️ Kindness 5⭐️ Service process 1x 5⭐️ and yesterday 0.5⭐️

The only thing you could complain about is that it can be really tight. Otherwise a top Italian! The weekly menu is highly recommended and the head waiter is a gem: very competent and friendly. We had pulipo croccante as a starter and a pizza margherita and ravioli porcini with salsiccia in cream sauce as a main course. It was just very good! The price is reasonable and the food is a lovely experience!

Recommendation from friends! We were there with the family on Sunday lunchtime. Reserved easily and was very nice on the phone. Plenty of parking spaces... In the restaurant the service was very friendly and took special care of the children (they specifically asked about the food, etc.) The food was really MEGA (pizzas, salad and dessert) and all at a normal price! Unfortunately, our colleague had to wait a long time for his steak, even though we had all already received our pizzas. We found that a bit of a shame. The drinks came very quickly. All dishes are always freshly prepared and there is a weekly changing menu that leaves nothing to be desired. And if you want something different, you'll definitely find what you're looking for with the lovingly selected dishes on the menu. The starters and desserts are fantastic. The ambience is really beautiful and furnished with great attention to detail. We have also ordered takeaway food, which you can easily order online via the website. We also think this service is great and it works absolutely problem-free. Immediately after ordering, you will receive an email with a time when the food is ready for pickup. We are completely satisfied and would like to thank the entire Il Cavallo team for the great hospitality and great service and we are very grateful for this great restaurant here in town.

I've eaten there many times and it's always been delicious. Most recently on Valentine's Day. For the main course I had lamb. Very tender. My husband had pasta with ricotta filling and truffles as a topping. I tried it, I liked it very much.

We had reserved a table for 5:30 p.m. today, but were informed that the table is only available until 7:00 p.m. Okay, an hour and a half is enough to eat without time pressure. Unfortunately, after 15 minutes we still didn't get a menu. However, 8 guests who arrived 15 minutes after us were served before everyone was seated. We, on the other hand, continued to be ignored. Since it was clear that we would get our food quite late and then have to leave quickly, we decided to leave. It's a shame we were so disappointed.

Mega delicious food The time management of the service staff should be revised. So they were very accommodating, but you either sit there without drinks or food or a menu. But it doesn't stop me from coming back because the food (when it came) was very convincing

Sehr leckere Pizza! Hier Holen wir uns gerne öfters Pizza. Die Pizzas sind ausgezeichnet. Es gibt die Möglichkeit auch außen zu sitzen - bei schönem Wetter und angenehmen Temperaturen sehr angenehm. Sollte man mit Personen die Pizzeria besuchen wollen, dann würde ich eine empfehlen zu Reservieren. Sie ist immer sehr gut besucht.

Ein feines italienisches Restaurant mit sehr gutem Essen, das uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen ist. Für mich ein wenig bekannter Geheimtipp. Immer wieder gerne!

Egal ob carpaccio vom Rind, Bruschette Oder Thunfisch tartar..... Alles super zubereitet.... Als Hauptspeise gab es lachs vom Grill , Gegrillte Fische..... Und Rinderlände Steak vom Grill...... Auch wunderbar zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend...... Super tollen Selbstgemachte Nachspeise...... Tolle Weine...... Guter Espresso und Grappa...... Man Fazit...... Ein Besuch ist sehr empfehlenswert......PS grazie Martina für den schönen Abend 👍

Das Essen war fantastisch. Ohne zu übertreiben ist es eines der besten Lokale in der Region Ingolstadt.

Schönes Restaurant mit guter Küche und freundlichem Team. Abends unbedingt reservieren. Die Vorspeisen sind lecker, typisch Toskanisch und relativ viel. Die Platte für 2 geht locker für 4, mindestens sogar. Zum Espresso gibt es direkt ein kleines Wasser dazu — weiß ich sehr zu schätzen und gibt es in Deutschland sonst viel zu selten.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit gemütlicher Wohlfühlatmosphäre! Wir waren gestern Abend im Il Cavallo zu Gast, wurden herzlich empfangen und zuverlässig bedient. Das Essen (Vorspeisenplatte, Bruschetta, Pasta Arrabita sowie Pizza Frutti di Mare) ist nur zu empfehlen, die Frische der Zutaten war deutlich zu schmecken. Ein besonderes Lob möchten wir für den leckeren, luftigen Pizzateig aussprechen, der vor unseren Augen zubereitet wurde. Insgesamt ein sehr authentischer Italiener, den wir jederzeit gerne wieder besuchen.

Köstliche Pizza Erfahrung. Mein Besuch in der Pizzeria Il Cavallo war ein voller Erfolg. Die Pizza war köstlich , mit Knusprigen Teig , der Service war Freundlich und schnell. Perfekt für einen entspannten Abend mit gutem Essen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Leider war nur der Vertretungskoch an diesem Tag da. Und leider hatte dieser wenig Ahnung von italienischem Essen. Für diese Qualität an Speisen haben waren zu dritt 160€ Zuviel bezahlt. Leider waren die Speisen nur durchschnittlich an diesem Abend; auch wusste er nicht, dass man zum Beispiel eine Tagliata schneidet und nicht am Stück serviert und mein bestelltes Medium rare war leider ein Medium Well. Die Pasta war scheinbar ohne Salz im Wasser gekocht worden (jedenfalls schmeckte es so). Die jungen Bedienungen wirkten leider zu meist überfordert und hatten von den Weinen auf der Weinkarte keinerlei Ahnung. Der Rotwein liegt auch leider untemperiert nur im Regal. Schade, sehr schade.
