Noble, authentic Italian bar. I was here with an Italian companion and the conversation was directly in Italian. We had very tasty aperitivi and olives, the service and the owner were very warm. The prices are high according to the area.

If you are looking for a nice drink in the beautiful Eppendorf, you should stop by here! Amazing drinks (The Clementino is my favourite), a nice vibe and awesome staff. The owner is very present and was there every time I stopped by. You can also order some food from “Il Cantuccio” next door. My favourite bar in Hamburg!

I discovered this wonderful restaurant through an invitation. Great ambiance, very friendly, authentic staff. Although the restaurant is relatively small, the seating is very spacious. The quality of the food is very high. I will definitely be back and am already looking forward to it.

Holstenstraße 119Disastrous Organization Yesterday, we had a reservation at Trattoria Lili for 11 people (confirmed by email). However, when we arrived, there was already a long line outside. We went in anyway, since we had a reservation. The restaurant was completely overcrowded and chaotic. When we asked a staff member about our reservation, we were told: "Yeah, yeah, that'll be fine, we'll manage, we'll just kick some people out so there's space." There was no apology whatsoever from the staff. Wow, what a way to treat guests! I don't want to be a guest who gets "kicked out" right after eating so that seats become available. Furthermore, several other groups with reservations were waiting outside (groups of 6, 4, 13, and our group of 11), and they all received the same or similar responses from the staff. That would have meant 34 guests being "kicked out"—practically impossible, and frankly, no guest wants to experience something like that. Wow, what a way to treat guests! We did not get to enjoy the meal and never will again, because we will NEVER make a reservation there again and, given the "respect" shown to the guests, we will never eat there.
