Ikram Ocakbaşı Grillhaus Restaurant in Salzgitter

It's worth eating here because it tastes sensational. But I have to criticize one thing. It would be more pleasant if glasses were served with the drinks.

I found it a bit expensive. The kebab plate was very tasty. I can also recommend the mushroom pizza. My wife's Beyti wasn't quite traditionally prepared, but it was something you can't get everywhere.

We were bored and just wanted to get out of Hanover. We googled and decided on Ikram Ocakbasi. It was very worth it! Very tasty food. The ambience is also nicely and comfortably furnished. We will come back soon.

The best I've eaten outside Pl. The meat was very good, the rice was a surprise but it fit perfectly into the composition, the vegetables were fresh, the portion was large, perfect for lunch. The atmosphere of the place is pleasant, the waiter service in the restaurant. Payment in cash or German payment card.

The food was good and the portions too. But going to the toilet to wash your hands ruined everything, it was an imposition, everywhere it was dirty, the floor of the sink was really that bad!!! Given the prices, they have to hire someone to clean all the time; you can't ask the waiter or the dishwasher to do that So I don't think we'll go there anymore because I'll spend the money on all-round service otherwise you can't justify the prices

Very tasty, lots of space, tables are well spaced apart. There is a play area for children and enough high chairs. Atmosphere rather uncomfortable, but the rest fits 👍🏽

Super delicious Turkish cuisine 👍 We had lunch here today and we really enjoyed it. Our Adena Kebab had a great grilled flavor and it was a nice big portion. First of all there was homemade bread with two types of dip and an original Turkish salad. The service was friendly. Here you will find a chic restaurant with delicious food for a good price. We'll be back.

Service and facilities are good, but the food has definitely deteriorated, which is a shame. An Adana roll cost €9 until about a year ago, now it's €12, Kuzu Si's roll costs €14. We're talking about a roll, not a plate of food. If it at least tasted commensurate with the price I wouldn't mind, but the quality has definitely dropped. 😣

The restaurant's food offering stands out from the usual Turkish restaurants. I don't want to say kebab stalls because that would be disrespectful. The food was great and plentiful. The service was always polite, even if there were sometimes slight problems in understanding, but really only very slight ones. I felt well looked after and will definitely come back when I'm in Salzgitter again and bring some more with me.

Currently the prices for main courses have been increased massively by +20%. E.g. minced meat skewer from 17.50 to 21 euros. Some guests will no longer be able to afford it and some guests will no longer want to afford it. And: It can't be due to the VAT because it was already 19% before Corona.

The food was always very good - unfortunately we won't be back due to the extreme price increase (we are still in Salzgitter and not in Munich). Grill plate for two from 40 euros to 48 euros. No go.

Really good Turkish restaurant with great service. The food was great and plentiful, both starters and main courses. The grill plate alone for 4 people was an eye-catcher and super tasty. The 45 minute journey is worth it.

Ikram used to be my regular snack bar.. now only overpriced, small portions and the taste and quality has really deteriorated. The last few times I was hardly satisfied. It's a shame for the money we pay. I won't go there anymore...

Very good experience. The welcome was cordial. Unfortunately no one speaks English but thanks to the internet and hands we can communicate. The server was smiling and kind. The pide was very good and the mix of meats with the sauce was really excellent. The baklava was not too sweet and excellent. Small downside, the card payment machine did not work and the ATMs are quite far away. I nevertheless recommend it.

I last ate Iskender Kebap in Bursa, where it is said to have been born. The Iskender at Ikram was on par with the alleged original in terms of taste. Service was friendly, but the ambience didn't convince me, but that's a personal feeling. There is no alcohol in the restaurant, including non-alcoholic beer. As a guest you have to be aware of this fact, but you almost feel like you are in Turkey. I liked it.

Today I wanted Adana with yoghurt. There was neither yoghurt nor proper sauce. The pitas under the island were like rocks. My wife bought a mixed grill and she has a stomach ache. I hope we didn't get poisoned there.

It has been a place we have frequently preferred since it opened. Especially since we thought it was suitable for Muslims, we came here with our family and relatives 2 or 3 times a month, and especially held our celebrations here. But unfortunately, products that support the murder of babies and people are still sold in Israel. We waited all this time thinking that they would not be able to remove it immediately. But it continues. That's why we won't choose this place unless they remove the drinks that support Israel. I ask them to choose to be a little more sensitive.

They could show a little more friendliness. I have no words for the food and the atmosphere. It's really nice.

Viel zu schade um das Geld. Gibt bessere Orte. When you go to dinner with a big group, everything gets complicated. Even though we made a reservation, we didn't have a seat! Our food did not arrive as we wanted. The waiters also lie to our faces. The meals arrived one by one. I think it's a waste of our money, there are better places to go. We went with 11 people and neither the waiters nor the kitchen staff did their job properly. We were disgraced.

The grill plate for 2 people was intended for 1 person. In addition, the meat on the grill plate was inedible (rubbery). The food came late and some of it was already too cold.

If you don't like crowded places, don't go, it's very busy. You have to go well before iftar, otherwise the food may be late due to busyness.

The food at Ikram Ocakbaşı is great. We had lentil soup and Sigara Börek as a starter and a grilled plate for two people as our main course. Everything tasted excellent. The staff is very friendly and the service is impeccable. The shop is cozy and, due to its size, is also suitable for larger groups. In summer you can sit outside on the terrace.

I used to enjoy being a guest here, but now I'm at a loss for words... there was a bone, or the devil knows what it was, in the kebab (see photo) and the portion of the kebab now leaves a lot to be desired...

Nice lounge, the food doesn't taste bad. However, I waited 1 hour for my food for iftar. When I spoke to the waiters it was discovered that they had forgotten it and then the food came with fries instead of rice. In addition, I had made a reservation in advance on the second visit, but upon arrival they said that we had not made a reservation and the entire team was and unfortunately is very unfriendly. It's best if you reserve with the phone you have with you in case you have the same problems..

I can say that the food is good and the soup is great. The service and attention are very good.

Unfriendly service, they lie about the ingredients and unfortunately don't see their mistakes. Very bad treatment of customers and the food came ice cold after 1 1/2 hours. When we just sat down, we were forced to choose our food straight away so that we could get up as quickly as possible. I don't go there anymore.

We love coming here because the food is great, as is the boss himself and of course the waiters. There is a huge difference between all the other restaurants around here. I can only recommend it!

We ate there again today, unfortunately the Iskender weren't in the oven long enough and unfortunately there was hardly any butter or sauce on them, we're actually better used to that! The service was a disaster today! After eating, we sat in front of the empty plate for almost 45 minutes without anyone trying to clear it away. It wasn't until I told the checkout that someone came. No "did it taste good or can it be anything else" Very disappointing!!

The food is excellent! We ate as a group. Everyone found the food very tasty. The ingredients are fresh. The staff very nice. Everything up to this point is commendable. What really disappointed me was that apart from Ayran, they only offer drinks from the Coca-Cola company. Since the Coca-Cola company publicly supports Israel, it is not possible for the Coca-Cola company to defiantly force alternative offers on the predominantly Muslim community. When all over the world Muslims, Jews, Christians, atheists... with moral courage are boycotting and rejecting precisely these genocide supporters! For this reason, I will not go to İkram Ocakbaşı in the future. But I hope the company will reconsider. So many restaurants have taken Coca-Cola company out of their menus.

The boss can criticize at the checkout We can't avoid it at all, although we often went to Ikram's. When we just wanted to give him a tip, he said we should eat somewhere else next time.

The restaurant is set up like a large snack bar. I wouldn't go there again to spend a pleasant evening. As a starter there was bread with two different dips. I had veal with mushrooms which was also really tasty. My wife had a grill plate. This wasn't so good, the lamb was very fatty, the minced one was very spicy. Otherwise everything was a little less seasoned, which meant it didn't quite fit together. The drinks also came in bottles or cups. Not so suitable for a restaurant.

Ich war hier schon sehr oft mit meine Familie. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut.👍Jedoch war ich in letzter Zeit sehr enttäuscht, da ich in meinem Essen( Tavuk Şiş mit Brokkoli Sauce) Haare entdeckt habe, 2 sogar!!! Wir haben uns bei den Mitarbeitern bezüglichdessen gemeldet und sie haben sich bei uns entschuldigt und deren Fehler wieder in Ordnung gebracht. Sehr Schade, dass beim zweiten Teller die Brokkoli's dann sehr roh waren. Außerdem waren oft nur die Stämme vom Brokkoli enthalten. Das gleiche hatte ich auch mal bei Beyti Kebabı erlebt... Ich sag nur, dass das mal passieren kann, aber nicht zum ZWEITEN MAL?! Aus diesem Grund rutsche ich von 5 Sterne auf 2 Sterne.Denn für mich ist die Sauberkeit bzw. Hygiene, vorallem was das Essen angeht, am wichtigsten.... Weiterhin waren bei 2 Personen aus meiner Familie das Fleisch überhaupt nicht gebraten, sodass man es kaum noch weiter essen konnte.... Sorry, aber ich persönlich würde hier nicht gerne noch einmal kommen wollen... Das Service sowie die Ambiente waren in Ordnung. Jedoch kann ich trotzdem nicht sagen, dass das Essen gut geschmeckt hat, da man sich gar nicht mehr getraut hatte weiter zu essen. Manchmal muss man etwas länger auf die Bestellungen warten. Jedoch ist dies keine wichtige Anmerkung, da das Restaurant sehr viele Kunden hat.

Nur eine einzige Sache muss kritisieren. In den Suppen ist oft wenig bis kaum Fleisch drin. Sonst schmeckt alles gut, Bedienung auch nett. Preise auch fair.

Nachtrag: Ikram ist gegen diese Bewertung vorgegangen und wollte diese löschen lassen. Das Essen war salzig. Punkt👍. Können scheinbar mit Kritik „NICHT“ umgehen😉 Vier von fünf Sternen. Dieses Restaurant habe ich auf Empfehlungen besucht. Moderne und tolle Inneneinrichtung. Vor allem sauber. Wie üblich gab es als Vorspeise eine Linsensuppe und als Hauptgang einen Grillteller. Die Linsensuppe war gut gewürzt. Das heißt, dass das man die Linsen schmecken konnte und nicht irgendwelche überlagernden Gewürze. Der Grillteller war für das Geld ordentlich und somit preislich 👍. Die verschiedenen Fleischsorten waren saftig und weich. Auch wurde das ganze gut angerichtet. Aber leider alles zu versalzen. Mitarbeiter nett und freundlich. Wenn ich wieder in Salzgitter bin, komme ich gerne wieder, um es nochmal zu testen. Hoffentlich ist es dann nicht so versalzen

Der beste Kebab Laden in SZ , viel Platz, sauber, kinderfreundlich und es schmeckt total lecker. Das einzige ist wenn es gut besucht ist ,schallt es innen wie in einem Hochzeitssaal. Und Parkplätze zu finden ist immer so eine Kunst zumindest am Wochenende.

Guter Ort, leckeres Essen und exzellenter Service

Der Döner war ok aber nichts besonderes, das Fleisch (Lamm Döner) war meiner Meinung nach mindere Qualität und hat mir nicht geschmeckt, leider habe ich bei der Bestellung was falsches bekommen, grund des Kellers war "tut mir leid, es ist zu laut hier".

Das essen ist weit und breit das beste im umkreis braunschweig, wenn man gegrilltes Fleisch mag. Es wird auf Kleinigkeiten wert gelegt, was viele nicht machen wie zb. Warmes brot.. Die Preise und die menge haben sich leider etwas verschlechtert.. Preise ok, aber menge sollte man beibehalten.. Ansonsten kann man nix aussetzen.. Der adana ist auch sehr gut, man merkt dass der Chefkoch was von seinem handwerk versteht...

Alles sauber, alles super. Geschmack top. Zubereitung schnell.

Wir fahren jedes mal extra aus Braunschweig nach Salzgitter um da essen zu können und es ist wirklich mit Abstand eines der besten türkischen Restaurants in denen ich je war. Wer sich von guter Qualität überzeugen möchte, ist dort auf jeden Fall richtig.

Ich gehe gerne in diesem Restaurant essen. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und ich muss sagen, dass viel Wert auf Hygiene und Kundenzufriedenheit gelegt wird. Ich werde bei jedem Besuch freundlich aufgenommen, der Service ist wirklich super. Außerdem sorgt die schöne warme Ambiente für das Wohlbefinden der Kunden. Weiter so!
