It is and remains a pathetic store. Items that, according to their own inventory system, are in stock, are of course not where they should be. "There should actually be 142 more items" – but there aren't. "Then they're probably all on their way to the checkout" – yeah, right. Speaking of the checkout: 12 self-checkout lanes with 3 "attendants" but only one cash register. Waiting time: 25 minutes. This (deliberate) wait can then be used to write a negative review.

They have attractive charging stations with ample space for electric vehicles with trailers. Unfortunately, their usefulness is limited because these spaces are being misused as parking spots for combustion engine vehicles. I believe this should be better monitored or penalized. We now had to take an unnecessary 20-minute charging break, even though it would have been possible to do so on-site. A real shame.

I much prefer the IKEA in Bielefeld to, for example, the one in Osnabrück. But of course, that's a matter of taste. Otherwise, it's easily accessible, with plenty of parking. The layout is good, and the staff is friendly. However, I would still like to see more services, such as delivery to the apartment, even for single items, or assembly that doesn't require booking externally.

The product selection is impressive: From stylish lamps, comfortable chairs, and modern beds to clever wardrobe solutions, cozy blankets, high-quality pillows, and complete kitchens – there's truly something for everyone. The variety is enormous, and the prices are absolutely fair. Everything is well-organized, presented in an inspiring way, and invites you to take home new ideas for your home. A particular highlight for me is always the restaurant and the snack bar. The classics like meatballs, fries, or the warm cinnamon rolls are simply unbeatable. The quality and freshness are also excellent, and the staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. Ideal for a break in the middle of a shopping trip. I received defective goods there three times in a row (Besta, Malm, Malm). This caused me enormous and unnecessary extra work (transport, disassembly, assembly, contact with customer service). Unfortunately, they are unable to offer a fair solution for the additional expenses incurred. Furthermore, the on-site service is poor. Employees are curt and sometimes unfriendly.

That was by far the worst Ikea shopping experience I've ever had. I was sent through the store multiple times because no trolleys were available, only to finally arrive at the shelves after over an hour. The shelves were empty at the bottom and full at the top. Consequently, I couldn't complete most of my shopping, even though the items were in stock. I was told that they simply don't bring them down. I will avoid this Ikea in the future. Customer service couldn't do anything about it, and the complaints department in the store didn't feel responsible. On top of that, the Wi-Fi in the store doesn't work properly, and since there's no mobile signal, the app is more of a hindrance than a help. The staff were friendly.

It's a pretty standard Ikea, basically perfectly fine. Prices are now pretty much in line with other furniture stores, and the selection is huge, but personally, I think the Ikea style is very dominant in terms of design. The furniture is generally solid, but you should still compare prices; you can often find comparable products at similar prices at other furniture stores that might better suit your taste. The decor and home accessories are great, the prices are good, and the selection is huge.

Once and never again. I ordered a bed from Ikea and had it delivered to my home. The bed arrived incomplete, and after more than an hour on the phone, I was told it hadn't been packed in the warehouse and therefore wouldn't be shipped for a few days. Conclusion: Despite paying the delivery fee, I didn't receive the complete item, and now I have to wait days for the rest. During the entire phone call, there was no concession or offer to pick up the missing item from the Ikea store. Instead, I received a cheeky response asking if the item could be brought to me in my private vehicle... After being referred to my supervisor, I was also dismissed, and there was no sign of service. I've never experienced such customer unfriendliness before. If it were possible to award negative stars, it would definitely be the case here.

Five stars for the hot dog stand at IKEA Bielefeld I ate there again today and, just like last time, was served by an exceptionally friendly employee. The lady's name is Birgit, and she radiates a warmth you rarely experience. Always with a smile, attentive, positive, and simply full of joy in her work. I'm a recruiter myself and deal with people in their professional lives every day. That's why I'm all the more impressed when someone enjoys their work so much and visibly shows it. Birgit is the best example of how much joy and energy a person can radiate in their job. A huge compliment to IKEA Bielefeld for this great service, and especially to Birgit; she makes the visit a real highlight every time.

Because the cranberry juice and cocoa were so delicious. I'm disappointed!!! Even as a child, my mother always took me to IKEA for breakfast, and as I grew up, we continued and loved it. However, the quality has deteriorated dramatically in recent years, to the point where today, after breakfast, we decided to stop going to IKEA. The rolls were dry and tasted stale, the cappuccino was watery, the egg was disgusting and tasteless, and the pre-made plates from 20 years ago are simply missing. I realize they can't be offered for €1 anymore, but I'd pay €5+, because those are exactly the plates that made the IKEA breakfast special! Maybe for a hot dog someday, Cassy

We usually go to Osnabrück, which is a great store. However, due to an accident, Bielefeld was the obvious choice this time, which was our first and last visit. The negative experience started in the parking lot: I could only press the buttons in the elevator with an object because it smelled so strongly of urine. I was really disappointed in the store. Compared to Osnabrück, the showrooms were run-down and unkempt; there were things lying around everywhere that didn't belong there, and some were broken. There were crushed cookies in the main aisle, and it was generally very dirty. At the checkout, I had my most questionable shopping experience to date: The lady at the express checkout shoved us in the middle of packing and said rudely: "Move the cart away, no one can get through here." At the checkout opposite, a man was busy with three full carts. We were still in the middle of packing. Since my mother avoids such confrontations, she pushed the cart with the already scanned products out of the checkout area while we continued scanning. After everything was scanned, I inserted my card into the reader. An error message appeared on the screen, which the employee had to clear. She pushed us aside, pulled my card out of the machine, waved it in the air, and then threw it on the table with the rude words, "If you don't wait, it won't work." After I clicked on card payment again, a message appeared stating that we had been selected for random verification. The same employee then came back to us, pushed my friend away, swiped her card through the register, and in the same rude tone, told us to repeat the items we had previously pushed out of the checkout area at her instruction. At that point, I was getting fed up and asked what her problem was. I said we couldn't get through because everything was full because of the guy with the three carts, who must have had the same fate as us. All I got was, "Don't use that tone, get the cart back." My mother then asked the customers in front of us at the checkout if they could make room for a moment so we could repeat the cart. At the same time, the employee very carelessly ripped products out of the blue bag and scanned them, saying something to herself that I thankfully don't think I heard afterward. After the employee scanned everything again and the exact same amount (€382.89) was displayed, she said loudly, so everyone in the area could hear, that we should scan everything next time, so that such a fuss wouldn't happen. When I asked what was wrong and how she came to that conclusion, since the amount was the same the first time, I didn't get an answer. Instead, I got a rude, "Now put your card in. Next time, go to the cash register; they can scan properly." When I then asked after payment who would put the items she had ripped out of the bag back in the basket, I also only got an unfriendly "you." I was too tired to argue with the woman. I packed the items in the bag and we left. When I was loading the car, I saw that her rough handling had caused the plates to break from the bottom, and pieces of the plants I had bought had torn off, leaving them hanging in the wickerwork. In summary, I can't recommend the store. The IKEA concept itself isn't to blame for this, but the store management should reconsider who they employ at the checkout. I can understand that on a Saturday (September 13th) you're looking forward to finishing work just before 8 a.m., but that's no reason to treat customers or the products you paid for like that. The bottom line: 3 broken plates and 2 broken plants. Not again!

Kitchen? Never again from IKEA!!! Nothing but trouble!!! ZERO STARS! I planned and bought a kitchen about a year ago because they were having a special offer. It took almost a year for this mini-kitchen to even be built because the room was measured incorrectly, deliveries didn't arrive, installers didn't show up, and customer service simply didn't respond! Contacting by phone or online? Horrible! So I always had to go to the furniture store to sort things out (an 80 km drive). Compensation? None! Issuance of vouchers for the kitchen special offer? None! Complete repair of the defects? None! Never ever IKEA 😡

Kitchen Department - Incredibly Poor Customer Service We wanted to order our kitchen in Bielefeld – everything was fully planned, and we were even already at the 12:30 p.m. appointment. Instead, the head of the kitchen department came, condescendingly explained to us that we were "taking appointments away from other customers" because of two rescheduled appointments, and categorically refused to accept our order – neither that day nor in the future. The absurd thing: We were there, the employee had prepared, we wanted to order immediately – and were simply sent out. A particularly unprofessional comment from a colleague when we mentioned that we had purchased several kitchens in the past ("...and paid for them?!") seemed extremely disrespectful. In the end, we had to drive all the way to Osnabrück, where we were immediately served in a friendly, competent, and problem-free manner. Exactly as we would have expected in Bielefeld. We complained about this by email and received no response, apology, or explanation. Conclusion: In our opinion, the Bielefeld kitchen department's customer service was incredibly poor.

Compared to other IKEA stores, it was very cramped and unfortunately not clean. For example, the trash cans on the ground floor were overflowing. There were food scraps on the floor. We were there this morning and first had a very good and reasonably priced breakfast. Since we're moving soon and need some new furniture, we then took our time browsing through the exhibition. The model rooms were very helpful in choosing the furniture. We found everything we needed, wrote everything down, and will order online as soon as we need it. Of course, we also discovered a few other things in the market hall on the ground floor that we bought straight away. We didn't have to wait a minute at the checkout! I can't imagine an apartment without Ikea furniture. It would be nice if we could buy the books you use as decorations from you.

Its high quality. IKEA used to be a dream. Something that people strived for and assembling furniture was fun. Currently, unfortunately, the prices are too high for the quality offered and, as I will say again, the lack of innovation. IKEA has followed in the footsteps of large corporations like McDonald's. Everyone buys it because it looks great but does it really taste good? As a long-time IKEA customer, I believe in you that you can surprise with something. Please develop the creative department. Create new furniture lines. Invest time and money in new arrangements, new technical and stylistic solutions. Don't think only about financial profit. Think about the people who have been with you for many years.

The Ikea "Ikea Bielefeld" on Südring Straße is beautiful 🤩, great 😊, and good 👍🏻. The employees are nice, friendly, and helpful. And if you need help, they'll help you (e.g., choosing a child's room or choosing a kitchen, etc.). And you can't get lost in Ikea because there are signs 🪧 telling you where you are. 🥲😅🙂

We've been waiting for months for our kitchen to be completed. Ordered at the end of 2024 (!), and the promised date for complete installation was February 3, 2025 (!). Since then, it's been 4.5 months (!) of nothing but drama. My nerves can't take it anymore; it's completely destroying me. So many times something has been delivered (incorrectly), installed (incorrectly), and deadlines promised that weren't met. The compensation we've already been offered is ridiculous, considering we've waited almost half a year. Unfortunately, we now have to refer the matter to a lawyer, as nothing else will happen.

It's been a while since I last went to Ikea. My wife has always managed to convince me to go to the restaurant afterward... so I just drove there in the big car. I was full, my wife was happy, the car was full, and my bank account was empty. But the food I was served at the restaurant today was a disgrace. I opted for a portion of meatballs. The selection of dishes was no longer sufficient to satisfy even the most straying husband, and the quality was also absolutely abysmal. We even used to have steak. Today we had vegan schnitzel. The asparagus sat sadly in the water and was completely wobbly. My meal: the sauce was watery, there was a tiny amount of cranberries, and the peas were hard and wrinkled. The meatballs had no texture at all. They could have been modeling clay. The pudding tasted chemically and the drinks were definitely watered down. And we paid 23 euros for that!!! But everything's fine... I'm going to Jysk with her now, Subway is right next door. I'll be back in an hour... they like my money too!!! Despite all the customer-focused food choices, they shouldn't ignore this effect. It's not just those who arrive by cargo bike to have breakfast with their friends or eat a portion of vegan dumplings and then buy a woven blanket who bring in money... but also those who arrive by van and buy a living room and children's room in the afternoon, and then still have room in the car for leftovers. Take care...

Title: Disastrous service – never again IKEA! I ordered a wardrobe from IKEA worth approximately €2,000. Delivery was scheduled for today – but nothing arrived. No call, no information. Instead, I sat on hold with customer service for over an hour – with no results. Particularly frustrating: I had already organized and paid a tradesman to assemble it. Now I have neither the wardrobe nor a solution, but instead, I have incurred unnecessary costs. I suffered a real financial loss as a result of this incident. As a long-time customer, I am deeply disappointed. This is not how you treat customers. IKEA has definitely lost me as a customer – and I can only advise anyone not to order from them.

Disappointing experience with the Second Chance service at IKEA: We are regular and long-standing customers at IKEA, so our recent experience with the "Second Chance" service was all the more disappointing. I received an online appraisal for four dining room chairs in very good condition. The original price was €50 each, but the online offer was €80 for all four. Only one chair had a small, approximately 2cm red paint mark on the back – otherwise, all the chairs were in perfect condition. However, the offer was completely rejected on site. The employee said the most they could do was dispose of the chairs, as one of them showed minimal signs of wear. I asked her why there was an online appraisal at all – and why so much advertising was done for the Second Chance service – if the furniture was subsequently arbitrarily rejected. Unfortunately, I didn't get a clear answer. I drove 45km there and 45km back to no avail. As a loyal customer, I would have liked more transparency, reliability and appreciation.

We made use of our lifetime exchange rights and returned all of our children's room furnishings from 2016. We had a whole trailer full of furniture, which was taken back without any problems. A big thank you again to the young man Timo, who accepted our return. I have rarely seen someone do their job with so much joy and fun. We had a lot of fun returning it with him. Laughed a lot. I am very disappointed with my last visit to IKEA. I wanted to return a gas cooktop that only had light signs of use - definitely nothing major that would have made it impossible to return. Nevertheless, the return was refused on the grounds that the signs of wear were too severe. In my opinion that was absolutely exaggerated. What disappointed me even more was that they didn't even try to find a solution. The employees were unfriendly, unhelpful and didn't give the impression that customer satisfaction was important to them. I didn't expect this kind of treatment at IKEA. It's a shame - it definitely wasn't a good experience.

There is a changing table there, but it is tiny and located in the middle of the passage - no privacy at all! Breastfeeding options? None. Very disappointing for parents with small children.

The booking process is easy. I have booked... and will NEVER use this offer AGAIN. When we arrived at Ikea, none of the employees could provide any information. Where is the vehicle...somewhere in the large parking lot. So wait for information to come to your cell phone. I wait and no information comes. Then suddenly at the actual start of the rental GPS data vehicle location in a completely different place. A call to the hotline... the car is broken. At the same time the cancellation also comes...Here I am with the purchases, including a Pax cupboard. And now? Ikea separate yourself from such a partner! Shameless! We waited a whole day for the kitchen to be delivered, a trash can and the worktop arrived. No rejection, nothing. Call Ikea, they don't know where the kitchen is, maybe the mechanics will come tomorrow. This was supposed to be set up the next day, the fitters arrived early, but without a kitchen. Making phone calls to the shipping company and Ikea, no one knows where the kitchen is. We paid for the entire kitchen, just no kitchen. I'm always happy when I have the chance to eat here. Everything I've had so far has been delicious. I especially recommend the fries with the wobu dip. 🤩 I also think the prices are very reasonable. While eating, I enjoy sitting at a table by the window and watching the passersby.
