Want to grab a quick bite to eat at Ikea 🍽️ or a coffee ☕ and cake 🍰? Don't expect any culinary delights, but they're relatively inexpensive. The ambiance is simple and rustic. It's also quite loud. The classic is, of course, Kottbüller with fries! 🤣 Recommendation: shop first, then eat for less!

It's a great place to stop for a meal while passing through due to the motorway connection, but I wouldn't really recommend it as a casual dining option, as the food isn't particularly special or inexpensive. However, the staff are very friendly and the service is excellent.

I do not recommend this menu. I bought it and a hair was found in it. I felt nauseous. It is a shame that such a big company does not operate hygienically.

IKEAs vary from country to country, depending on local tastes.

It just feels like a cheap cafeteria. Mass processing at the food counter, nothing really special. The filter coffee tastes awful. The staff is overwhelmed and stressed. It used to be better.

Food and drink are quite inexpensive.

The lady at the checkout was very friendly, and when we're at IKEA, we usually get a bite to eat. The food is always good. The atmosphere is usually a bit louder than in a regular café, but that's normal for a furniture store, I think.

Hello dear Ikea team from Schnelsen, we unfortunately learned yesterday that you are no longer offering breakfast. A long tradition is now coming to an end for us. We (three generations) always came to your place for breakfast on report card day to celebrate...what a shame, we are very sad about it. 😢

Too bad, I don't open until 11am...I don't want to have breakfast then either.

Absolutely recommended for every IKEA visit... 😉👍🏻 ...even if it's just for a free coffee or a soft drink... The coffee here in Schnelsen actually tastes different than in Kiel... It's not exactly a revelation, but compared to Kiel, it's absolutely drinkable...😄😉👍🏻

For a quick snack. You shouldn't have too many culinary expectations here.

Was there once a quarter. Likes Kötbullar, is in good hands there! ;-)

I wouldn't call it a restaurant; you have to do everything yourself, and the few staff you interact with aren't unfriendly, but they're generally boring and disinterested. There's always one or two things that don't work at the service stations.

It was clean and everything was very open. The terrace was perfect for ice cream when the sun was shining. The seating was great. But be careful, if you're a little older you shouldn't sit in every chair. Otherwise, no complaints.

Unfortunately, the fries are not completely cooked through. Very loud.

The selection is good, the prices are fair, the employees are nice. But it is and remains a restaurant in a furniture store. I would call it a canteen rather than a restaurant

I don't know why, somehow I love the Ikea restaurant in Schnelsen. It's simply essential to strengthen yourself first before shopping or just getting inspiration.

The waitresses were so unbelievably unfriendly.

Everyone knows that you can eat well here for very little money. The truth and the price-performance ratio is great. So my full recommendation. What if you can even get a window seat in the restaurant? The view isn't bad either. This gives you a short break on the shopping tour. Guaranteed.

Food is just inferior. Schnitzels are the size of nuggets, if you're looking for mayonnaise you'll be looking for a long time. Pieces of cake are so small that you wonder where I am here...

There was supposed to be schnitzel; I had nuggets on my plate that were too big. Fries were okay, schnitzel was a laughing stock

Completely okay for a quick, undemanding meal.

IKEA restaurant as you know it. Always a vegan selection, the schnitzels are now always all vegan, unfortunately there are rarely vegan deserts, so more choice would often be great. Vegan mashed potatoes and cream sauce would also be great! Staff is mostly friendly and helpful. It's very clean there, there's a small game corner and drinks for yourself. Food tastes ok, nothing special, most of it can be bought frozen downstairs. Good to feed the kids before visiting Ikea :) The restaurant at Ikea Schnelsen Hamburg is really well run. It really is always neat and clean. The selection of dishes leaves nothing to be desired. Really a great price-performance ratio. The selection of vegan dishes is also solid and expandable. Often there is even a vegan dessert. You can check all the ingredients at an information terminal. Very practical if you have intolerances. For the children there is a great play area, children's cutlery and crockery, high chairs and changing facilities. If you pay for a soft drink, you can refill the glass as often as you want. Also particularly practical with kids. The cranberry lemonade is highly recommended.

Who doesn't like to eat at IKEA and browse around a bit? Something always finds you. But I have also bought large pieces of furniture, cupboards and bedrooms from IKEA and will do so again if necessary.

45 euros for two adults and two children is not little either. Lunch was ok.

Everything happens quickly, orderly and friendly. Typical Ikea self-service restaurant. Simple, cheap, but tasty. Great. Gladly again 😃

Large restaurant with breakfast from 9:30 a.m. with always friendly staff. Good breakfast plates and a small, fine selection.

Beautiful dining room, extremely friendly staff and the duck is awesome for this price!!! We'd love to come back.

I have seen dogs being served food with more grace then the worker standing behind the counter and handing food to the costumers. He does not as much as say hi, and filled up my plate with 50% of stuff i did not wish for. If he is not able to interact socially maybe you guys should consider having someone else in that position. Price is low, food is okay. Let’s try to make it look like you are not forced to be there but rather want to help the costumers.

It's just an Ikea restaurant. Unfortunately, that's why it's often overcrowded. But very clean.

Old familiar things. Köttbuller with a side dish as has been known for years. Plus drink to refill. It's all ok.

The portions are also getting smaller and smaller.

The breakfast is good value for money. You can get in as early as 9:30 a.m. On Saturday it was very crowded, people were already lining up, but you could still get your food quickly. I wouldn't recommend lunch.

Nobody needs to learn the trade to cook here. When I see the watery scrambled eggs, I feel sick.

Once again I bought way too much :-] The food was lukewarm and bland. The cola is almost non-carbonated. At just under €15 per person I would have expected a little more.

Absolute disgrace that real food (meat) is only offered from 5 p.m.! Because of the 5% vegan population on the planet, you can't get a proper meal before 5 p.m. This is simply discriminatory and unacceptable. Shame on you!!!

We were pleasantly surprised and spontaneously went shopping and eating at Ikea. We got everything and got a discount on top of that. Also the food discount. As retirees we had a great day. Thank you very much .

The staff at the food distribution desk were very friendly. The restaurant was clean and well arranged. I go there often to eat.

Great park location and not overcrowded during the weekday holidays. We found everything we needed with the ServicePointSystem. But we didn't understand drawing numbers for 4 ice cubes and then queuing up for soft ice cream.

Unfortunately, there are hardly any original Swedish products or dishes. The Ikea own brands are just a small imitation. The restaurants have declined significantly. Except for the same old Köttbullar...no feeling. Typical local dishes are completely missing. The breakfast was also so bad, which was a shame

I am always thrilled because you are always inspired by the decorations and the qualities, and the staff, who are always helpful and friendly, are very nice. I can always recommend it is always interesting to buy something there. 👍

Ikea, if you know what you want and want, everything is great

Very generously laid out. Rich selection of food and drinks. I ate a tomato bread on garlic, with herbs, onions and garlic and a jelly. When the weather is nice, on the terrace. Wonderful.

I like having breakfast here. Always a nice selection with something for everyone. You can also have lunch here very well. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

It's just mass production. You can't talk about ambience here. Like a canteen. The food is always the same. Carelessly filled and far too expensive. Eating and drinking something quickly is enough. The conveyor belt for returning dirty dishes usually stands still and the dishes pile up. The staff is there, nothing more can be said about it. Given that Ikea is so well known and represented everywhere, I find the restaurant really uncomfortable and poor.

There is vegan food but not every time

When I visit Ikea, I always eat a hot dog. Unfortunately the rolls have become smaller and the price has been increased by 2 euros. That's not nice

The restaurant and the food are canteen level. However, the price is cheap. Ikea has made the restaurant more modern and is still doing so.

The star is only there so I can post something! Today I wanted to combine a stroll through Ikea with a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately, I was annoyed. The restaurant is closed even though it says open on the website!!! Bad service! Now it's time to go to Schweinske and I won't go shopping at Ikea again. That's better.

I didn't go to the restaurant, but bought the hot dog package so I could make these myself. Everything is there for 32 hot dogs with the bags. It's fun to make them yourself, and they're all available individually. I'm thrilled and so is my family, best regards Christel Ps. There were also fried onions

Unfortunately currently closed due to renovations. You can get food at the bistro but there are no seats and it is very crowded

Today I was at IKEA in Schnelsen. I have to say top against Moorfleet. Great explanation about vouchers, everyone is super friendly. Unfortunately the restaurant was currently being remodeled. But in general it is cleaner there too.

15 years ago people used to say that it was OK to eat at IKEA, what is now on offer is just disgusting, in terms of taste but also the temperature of the food, and I also question the hygiene in some places. You can also tell that they don't feel like selling when there are only 1-2 people behind the counter, there is hardly any food there and only one of the cash registers is occupied, while long queues form and the already lukewarm food then becomes cold . concept fail.

The restaurant has a good ambience. Self service but nice and friendly employees. The food tastes good. Refills for drinks.

Nice restaurant to take a break every now and then, overall ok. but the food on offer was better.

Not like it used to be, but kodbullar is still there, you get full in the shopping spree, so everything is ok.

Unfortunately, extremely long waiting times and the tables are all a bit dirty.

Salmon was very dry, with peas with a sweet dill sauce mush¿ the mashed potatoes were ok. I can't recommend it.

I was there on a Friday morning. Clean, well stocked and friendly staff. I've also been to other Ikea stores and things were worse there

Good range of food. The hygiene rule is well thought out. Only the coffee cup is very small and when you fill it it is only 1/2 full, so you have to go to the machine at least twice. If you can walk easily then that's not a problem but if not?
