IKEA Restaurant Erfurt in Erfurt

Breakfast at Ikea...unfortunately, no longer recommended. For years, we've been going to Ikea in Erfurt several times a year to have a leisurely breakfast and then do our shopping there. Sometimes just a few things, sometimes furnishing an entire room. We always praised and thoroughly enjoyed the Ikea breakfast and its selection. The price/performance ratio was excellent. However, the quality and selection have changed drastically recently. Still okay, though. Until today...We were very disappointed. There are no more mixed or pre-prepared breakfast platters. Whether it's cheese, salmon, or cold cuts. No selection of jams. Nuremberg sausages, meatballs, scrambled eggs, prawn crackers, etc., were nowhere to be found this morning. The only things available were a cold cuts and a cheese platter, from which everyone could help themselves and take individual slices of cold cuts. A hygienic disaster and not inviting; the self-service process also creates unnecessary queues. To top it off, it was 9:55 a.m....and there were still three slices of cold cuts left on each of the two platters when it was our turn. I asked a staff member if that was all there was. A quick "Yes" was the answer. This shouldn't happen during peak breakfast hours. Yes, there were pastries, croissants, bacon, boiled eggs, etc. But it was nothing like the offerings of the past. Most importantly, the plates with everything on them were missing. Everything seemed uninspired and had nothing to do with the Ikea breakfast of yesteryear. We lost our appetite and left. Because of the disappointment, our subsequent shopping trip to Ikea itself was very small. To be honest, breakfast was really one of the reasons we went there so often. I think that will now change. Because the Ikea restaurant in Erfurt really no longer offers any reason to go there. They certainly have to save money and staff, but I think they're cutting corners in the wrong place. A real shame...

We went to Ikea Erfurt today after a long time, and since it was lunchtime, we wanted to get something to eat. We ordered protein pea balls and a schnitzel (which wasn't meat), so we opted for a rice and vegetable stir-fry. The rice was completely overcooked, and overall it was just mush. I understand that some people want to eat vegan or vegetarian, but they should offer something for everyone. We won't be eating there again. I also don't understand the concept, because it's not like it's this bad everywhere.

Friendly staff, I was surprised by the prices, as the portion was quite filling.

Wir haben Schnitzel mit Pommes bestellt. Zwischen der Panade befand sich eine nur millimeterdünne Substanz, die mit Fleisch nur sehr entfernt Ähnlichkeit hatte. Außerdem befand sich ein glasharter Fremdkörper im Schnitzel. Ein Preis von 7,99 Euro fand ich keinesfalls gerechtfertigt. Auch zwei Spatzen fliegen im Restaurant herum. Die Kinder freuen sich vielleicht, aber das weckt doch ein ungutes Gefühl, was die Hygiene betrifft.

There are plenty of places available. Also with sockets for charging. Nicely bright and light-flooded area.

I was at IKEA again and, of course, grabbed a quick bite to eat. I've been there quite a few times now, but every year I get less and less. I'll be surprised by how the hot dog tastes, and then I'll see what happens. For comparison, read the review of IKEA Würzburg! No comparison to the East, better and cheaper, very sad after so many years.

Was there for lunch with my parents. All dishes were lukewarm and overcooked. Any IKEA wall unit would have tasted better. On top of that, my mother found a dead, "cooked" fly in her "salmon dish". Kind regards to the Erfurt Health Department.

Were here for lunch. I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. Only half of the dishes were visible on the scoreboard. Asparagus with schnitzel - the schnitzel was barely bigger than a pack of cigarettes. I had had vegetarian or vegan. It was also completely overcooked and completely tasteless. Definitely not recommended again.

The best thing about the restaurant is the view. The food is presented very carelessly, by slightly annoyed and unfriendly staff. With a lot of good will, our food could be described as lukewarm. Taste? Many company canteens cook better. Again? No

The prices are still okay, but not everything tastes good. Sometimes it's like a gamble.

It's like in every IKEA furniture store: no culinary highlights and the Köttbullar no longer have any taste. But you can always find something to fill you up.

Begann schon mit dem Apfelsaft, hat irgendwie der Apfel gefehlt voll die Chemie Bombe. Das Essen war total unterirdisch und dafür auch noch gesalzene Preise. War einfach nur ekelig.

Exceptionally you can eat there. One or two dishes are edible, e.g. salmon. The prices are relatively low, but the portions are only the size of a senior citizen's plate. The selection is very limited and the same for weeks. Everything tailored to the zeitgeist, such as vegan food, salad and other nonsense. Quality corresponds to a stable commercial kitchen level. But solid German home cooking is completely absent! No draft beer, Kellerbier, Hefeweizen, only Radeberger bottled beer. I wouldn't eat there more than twice a year! If possible, you should drive 2 motorway exits further and eat at Globus Mittelhausen. Buy the beer you want from the drinks department beforehand and then enjoy the significantly larger selection, more regional cuisine and slightly larger portions. Even if, like me, you go there 3 to 4 times a week, you'll be satisfied!

Gelegentlich gehe ich gerne im Ikea Restaurant essen, wenn es nicht zu voll ist. Die Preise sind durchschnittlich, die Portionen recht klein. Das Essensangebot ist überschaubar, für Vegetarier ist auch was dabei. Kaffee in Verbindung mit der Ikea-Kundenkarte ist kostenlos. 👌🏼

Ich mag das Essen bei IKEA immer, ich finde das Essen lecker.

Іжа порівняно з іншими ресторанами ікеа у Європі не дуже смачна. Нагетси були дуже тверді. Можу тільки рекомендувати вишневий топінг до десертів.
