The Italian restaurant *I Mori* impresses across the board. The stylish ambiance creates a pleasant atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. The service was always friendly, attentive, and courteous, which made the visit even more special. Our vitello tonnato was a real highlight – superbly prepared and wonderfully flavorful. The homemade pasta was also of the highest quality and perfectly rounded off the culinary experience. The crowning finale was a delicious Negroni, making the evening unforgettable. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Unfortunately, the food was unexpectedly disappointing. The ravioli was undercooked, and the goat cheese filling was floury and had little flavor. Based on the positive reviews, we expected something different. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite what we hoped. The organic lemonade was just a soft drink from a bottle. We were a bit disappointed. The ambiance is very nice, and the service was unpretentious and friendly.

I've been to i mori three times now: The appetizers and pasta dishes are delicious, and the service is always friendly and unobtrusive. However, I had a pizza for the first time yesterday, and unfortunately, I didn't like it at all. The dough was definitely pre-made, and it felt like you were just chewing on unseasoned flour...I can't recommend it at all, unfortunately. Otherwise, it's a solid restaurant where you can spend a pleasant evening with friends.

It's a shame to have to write this, but the restaurant really fell short of our expectations (which we had based on the reviews) in several aspects. Both in the restaurant and on the terrace, the furniture and decor are rather lackluster. Especially if you want to sit outside, you don't get the impression that you're sitting in a restaurant with reasonable prices. No ciabatta or similar was served before the meal, which we're used to from other Italian restaurants. The portions were modest, but sufficient for a normal appetite. However, the dishes were not at all convincing in terms of taste: The sauce was okay, but the eggplant, for example, didn't seem freshly prepared. It was bland and lumpy. We found the prices far too high. Therefore: No recommendation 😢

We've eaten here several times, although it's been a while since the last time. Upon arrival, the outside area looked as if the place were closed, with no table set, and it was very uninviting. Unfortunately, the time management wasn't perfect (the third person in our group didn't get his food until after the others had already been eaten), our requested wine wasn't available, and the quality of the food wasn't up to par. However, the value for money wasn't good at all. They didn't even provide a bill! It's a shame, as we've always been satisfied and would have gladly returned!

Undercooked pizza and fake mozzarella

Great menu, but unfortunately the taste falls a bit short of expectations. The starter, the vitello tonato, was wonderful. The main course, unfortunately, was barely seasoned. Service was pleasant. The interior was nice. Some dishes weren't good value for money. We enjoyed our meal.

Gestern spontan das erste Mal da gewesen. Wir hatten nicht reserviert, aber Glück, dass noch ein Tisch für zwei frei war. Wenn Ihr ein authentisches Restaurant mit super Service und geilem Essen sucht, geht hier hin! Wir hatten Wasser, Wein, Pizza, Pasta und Affogato. Als kleines Dankeschön gab es nach dem Essen einen Digestif. Alles vom feinsten! Wir werden wiederkommen.

Small, cozy and an incredibly good kitchen! The selection of dishes is absolutely sufficient. Not too much and not too little. There is something for every taste. It's better not to have a map that looks like an atlas, but rather a fine selection of dishes that are all fresh and homemade. There were three of us there. Everyone was thrilled. The quality of the food is outstanding. The cooking points were hit perfectly. The orange tiramisu topped it all off. We will definitely come back more often! Pictures say more than a thousand words.

In sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre und bei prima Service hatte ich die hausgemachten Ravioli mit Steinpilzfüllung in Trüffelcreme. Extrem lecker! Die angebotenen Weine sind über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Zum Nachtisch hatte ich Käsekuchen mit Pistaziencreme. Macht leider süchtig. Die bei den übrigen Familienmitgliedern probierten Gerichte und Nachspeisen ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gut.

A wonderful evening full of Italian hospitality. Here, high-quality products are processed into fantastic dishes. Stylishly prepared, every course was a pleasure. We had vitello tonnato and octopus in the first course, entrecôte and beef tartare with truffles in the main course, tiramisu for dessert. We ate here for the first time today based on several recommendations. Guys, make a reservation in advance otherwise you won't have a chance. We had reserved. Nice location, attentive service. Unfortunately it was noisy today, but good, normal with the restaurant full. Only 1 star deducted because the food tasted a bit bland. Great ingredients, homemade, but the final “kick” was missing. The dish was completely without salt but with a lot of pepper. I love pepper but it has its limits. The pink pepper is extremely aromatic, please use significantly less and add more salt to taste. Come again...

We were there for the Amalfi dinner. It was excellent and well attended. Nice ambience, great service. Only the ventilation could be a little better. After 2 hours the air was already quite warm and stuffy. Otherwise we would be happy to come back.

The restaurant is very nicely and comfortably furnished, the food is very tasty and the staff are also very friendly. However, there was one “but”. The 4 of us were the only ones who had to wait almost 70 minutes for the food. And we didn't have any special requests. Nevertheless, there are 5 stars because there was a “compensation” on the house for the delay without us insisting on it. That was important to me personally. Therefore gladly again and highly recommended!

Been there for the first time. Worth a recommendation! A small Italian restaurant with a small outdoor area facing the street. The restaurant was also busy during the week. Accordingly, the background noise was a little loud. The service was great. Very friendly, unobtrusive, but people still asked if they wanted drinks or dessert. The food was tasty, came quickly and the portion was good. The prices are okay (pizza and pasta possible from around 13 euros, dessert from 7 euros). There is also a selection of vegetarian dishes on the menu.

Delicious food, nice service and not so crowded

I had the rigatoni with pistachio pesto, mortadella and parmesan cream and it was absolutely delicious! The service was also very courteous and nice. The ambience is also suitable and cozy. We were definitely not there for the last time! 😊

Unfortunately, I'm a little disappointed with my first visit. We went there on a recommendation. The starter came very quickly and was cleared away promptly after consumption. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for the main course. When we asked about the food, we were told that it was basically our own fault because we had the starter in advance and the order for the main course supposedly went into the kitchen later. This was incomprehensible to us and also a bit bold. We would have liked an honest and sincere manner here. That would have been nicer than giving us such a bold answer. I can't say whether I'll come back again - I'm disappointed with the service.

A great Italian restaurant! The menu isn't overloaded, but it's still difficult to choose because everything sounds so delicious! I only focus on veggie dishes. But I definitely have to come back again because a lot of things on the menu still need to be tested. It was also very tasty! I probably should have just ordered the nice-smelling pizza from our table next door or my friend's pasta... Instead I opted for the Pulpo and unfortunately I was very disappointed. For €26 (!) I definitely expect more. Unfortunately, the potato foam was very watery and had no taste (but of course it looked great thanks to the sepia ink). Unfortunately, my chanterelles were still a bit sandy and the biggest disappointment was the pulp itself. It was way too cooked and therefore only tasted like rubber. Unfortunately I didn't find any of my basil gel (?) on my plate. With such prices for the dishes (we both paid €26 each for our dishes) I expect someone to ask me how it tastes. Unfortunately there was no trace of service! Then I would have liked to have returned the food and ordered something else. However, we had to wait quite a while for anyone to come out. And the restaurant wasn't necessarily full. I think that for what I Mori wants to embody, namely a chic ambience, high-priced/high-quality dishes, the corresponding service must also be offered. The service was really nice but unfortunately not really attentive. I think you can limit yourself to pizza & pasta and excel at that. My criticism was initially addressed. I was offered a drink or dessert. In the end, the spray I ordered was on the bill 🙃 All in all, unfortunately I wouldn't come here again and wouldn't recommend it, preferring instead one of the many long-established Italians in Hanover. Too bad!

The outdoor seating is covered. The disadvantage is that the conversation is delayed and you sit within earshot of the busy Hildesheimerstrasse. My meal was tortellini filled with salmon. Very tasty with a rich sauce. The food on the large plate was very clear. There were only 7 tortellini! For a big appetite and for the price it's clearly not enough. Therefore a starter and/or dessert is recommended. The tartuffo ice cream or the chocolate cake were very tasty.

Really Italian and good value for money

I have now been a guest at iMori twice within a few weeks. The first time I had the Ravioli di Salmone, which was unfortunately very salty and tasted rather bland. On the second visit I tried the seafood risotto. Unfortunately, the seafood was so chopped and stirred in that it was no longer recognizable. I was looking forward to a beautifully decorated plate of fresh seafood. The taste was okay. Since the reviews are consistently very good, maybe I just don't understand the compositions on the plates. In any case, for me the price-performance ratio wasn't right. Desserts, wine and service, on the other hand, were very good on both visits.

Were there for dinner today, the truffle noodles were very tasty 😋 but I personally didn't think the rump steak was that good.:( Will still come back and try other dishes.

Nice restaurant with nice staff, but long waiting times for both staff and food. The food was good, but mediocre considering the price. However, it is beautifully prepared.

The restaurant has a very nice and pleasant atmosphere. I had pasta with zucchini sauce and shrimp pieces, you could really tell that the pasta was freshly made. However, the sauce was not very intensely seasoned and I have also eaten the shrimp better elsewhere. Overall, the portion was pretty small, so I would say it was good value for money but with a bit of room for improvement. Unfortunately, my friend had to get up twice and speak to the waitress so that we could order dessert, so I would have liked a little more attention from the wait staff (which was very friendly). My highlight was definitely the cannolo, which tasted like it did in Sicily :)

The main course was pasta twice, once Bronte with pistachios and then Linguine Zucchine e Gamberetti. Both dishes made us completely happy: the pasta was on point, the sauces were very tasty and light! We look forward to our next visit!

A really nice Italian! The service is very courteous and the prices are moderate. The starters are really big, but cost just as much as the main courses. The Vitello Tonnato is truly a small work of art and the bruschetta is surprisingly bright. The pizza was also good, although the base was a bit too thick. Rounded off with a dessert a great evening.

One call, one reservation 15 minutes later. For the first visit to I MORI, head to the outdoor area. Olive oil, vinegar, salt & pepper, everything is on the table. That this is hardly common these days; One more reason for me/us to stay looking forward to the evening. Not to forget fresh flowers on the table. We receive an incredibly warm welcome and feel anything but foreign. The order is taken with a smile without notes and within a short time our starter is on the table. Drinks too, of course. I notice that people check on us regularly to see whether we have finished the starter. We also ask whether everything is OK or whether we would like anything else. I visited Rome 2 days ago, somehow I was still craving for Italian pasta after a trip as I wasnt happy with foods in the tourist area. Found this restaurant from google maps, I came here alone during the public holiday, thanks God they still open 😃 staffs are friendly and thoughtful, order tagliatelle ai frutti di mare, it’s tasty and delicious. Highly recommended and definitely I will come back here more times to try all their foods in a menu.

The restaurant is cozy and stylishly furnished. As a starter we had a carpaccio of paper-thin ham with grapes. It was okay, but not completely round in the overall picture. We also ordered the bruschetta, which was tasty but nothing special. We found the pasta with ragu to be a bit bland, even though the meat was braised until tender. The truffle pasta, on the other hand, was a disappointment for us. We can't say whether we were unlucky with the truffle, but it tasted too spicy and intense, sometimes with a petrol aroma. We don't believe that truffle oil was used, as there was a lot of fresh truffle on display and it tasted pure as described, but purely from a taste point of view you could have believed that. All in all it's okay, but for us personally the price-performance ratio isn't right. We expected something different and can't quite understand the hype.

So far I've been really excited about this little feel-good restaurant, but I was pretty disappointed yesterday. The restaurant has great, creative dishes that look great on the menu but are unfortunately not convincing. We had the octopus first, it was rock hard and tough. It was difficult to cut and absolutely inedible. When the waiter came and asked how it tasted, I communicated that it wasn't tasty as the octopus wasn't soft. He acknowledged it without a word and left. I was really surprised about that. Then came my main course of linguine with clams. The portion was really more than small for €18. I really enjoy eating this dish but the mussel meat was barely there, it was micro small. For what was offered, the price was absolutely not justified. There were a lot of people in service yesterday but you feel neglected. Normally when the owners are in service it is perfect and a wonderful getaway in Italy. My girlfriend's pizza was very good. In summary, yesterday was not a convincing evening, but this small restaurant can do much more.

It's been on the list for a long time and has now finally been tested. From now on I will definitely come here regularly as both the food and service were really great!! All of the food tasted very good and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive! You felt very comfortable throughout :) And the price is also completely reasonable for the quality.

We were there on a Thursday in November. The atmosphere around Mori is modern, bright and pleasant. We first ordered the Vitello Tonnato. It was arranged differently than we know it. Visually great and tastes great too. A little more sauce would have been nice, but it's a matter of taste. Afterwards we ordered pasta, once with lobster, once with sepia for 26eur or 22eur. The taste was very tasty but the ingredients, the star of the dish, were present on both plates rather homeopathically. The sepia strips are cut very thin and when folded they are not even a finger's width apart. The price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. We drank a delicious Grillo and a bottle of water. So they left us sitting there and even after 45 minutes it didn't occur to us to ask whether we would like a dessert, café or digestive! We then paid over 100 euros in total, plus 10% tip. Even then, the idea of ​​offering a grappa, Ramazzotti or something similar “on the house” didn’t come up. Well, I don't see why I should come back. At this level, others in the southern part of the city can do it better or at least as well. Of course there will be a second chance, but not so quickly.

No idea about the quality, quantity of the food and how is the service. And honestly I would like to know, but the reservation system… I had a reservation through the web page, but it’s seems that is not the real one.

When I read the many positive reviews, I feel like I've been to another restaurant. I was there yesterday with my girlfriend. The taste of the food was ok, the portion of my pasta was more of an appetizer. After our food order, the only waitress showed up at our table within a period of 3 hours only to clear away the food. Not once did she ask if we wanted anything else. So we had to go to the counter ourselves to order drinks. The phone often rang at a volume that was very annoying. No, I don't have to go there again.

Non do mai 5-5-5 ma in un epoca dove i "finti" ristoranti italiani abbondano, è obbligo dare merito ad un ristorante di cucina italiana autentica finalmente con un menù variegato e contemporaneo (al posto delle solite spaghetti alla carbonara e tagliatelle alla bolognese). Ci sono stato con unamica colombiana e ha potuto apprezzare alcuni dei veri sapori dell'Italia in Germania. Servizio impeccabile, fantastica la cameriera siciliana, ci tornerò sicuramente durante il mio prossimo soggiorno ad Hannover.

Einfach köstlich, die Gerichte haben das gewisse Etwas und sind sehr gut aufeinander abgestimmt. Wir hatten 2 Vorspeisen und Pasta und fanden alles sehr lecker. Sehr schöne Weinauswahl, Bio-Weine und Limonaden, super freundlicher Service und auch die Preise sind absolut fair! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Fünf Ravioli für 18€ ist sehr überteuert, ebenso wie die frittierten Gambas (ca. 4 Stk) mit frittierten Calamari und einem „trockenen“ Salat für 28€. Geschmacklich war es lediglich „ok“, für das Geld haben wir definitiv mehr erwartet!

Wir verbrachten hier einen schönen Freitagabend zu zweit. Sowohl der Service als auch das Essen waren atemberaubend. Eine schöne kleine Speisekarte (mit reichlich Auswahl). Sehr gut geeignet auch für Vegetarier! Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl und auch die Weine sind zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team!

Einfach das beste Essen in Hannover! Sehr freundlich und fröhlich, man fühlt sich zu Hause:) wie in Italien

War waren von dem Besuch beim I Mori Ristorante sehr positiv überrascht. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und das Essen war qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Vor allem das Vitello Tonnato als Vorspeise hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch die Ravioli und andere Pasta Gerichte waren super lecker. Wir kommen definitiv gerne wieder.

Essen lecker, aber viel zu kleine Portionen. Bei 17€ für die Pasta erwarte ich, satt zu werden. Mein Freund hat sich auf dem Heimweg noch eine Pizza in einem anderen Restaurant geholt, ich hatte nach drei Stunden wieder Hunger :(

Hier steckt Liebe im Detail. Ein großartiges Restaurant mit herzlichem Service. Wir kamen in den Genuss von sehr leckeren Essen. Die Ware wird größtenteils in Italien bestellt & alles wird selbst hergestellt, Handwerk & Frische die man schmeckt. Toller Grappa. Bei einem Besuch wird es nicht bleiben!

Das Personal ist immer freundlich und es ist sehr familiär. Die kleine wechselnde Karte lässt schon erahnen, dass die Speisen alle frisch zubereitet werden, was man auch schmeckt. Zusammen gefasst, kann man nur sagen "Klein aber Oho ... lecker".
