I Fratelli in Friedrichshafen

While searching for a place to eat, my wife came across this restaurant. We were initially a bit hesitant due to the location, but were pleasantly surprised. The pizza and tiramisu were truly amazing!

Highly recommended! Despite being understaffed, the bar staff were very friendly, relaxed, and accommodating. Solid! We had a good meal with large portions. We were there for the second evening today and will definitely be back tomorrow. ❤️ Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place to anyone. I ordered an Aparol, a glass of beer, and an ice cream for my wife and myself. The Aparol was brought quickly. The ice cream even arrived 10 minutes later. However, the beer took even longer to arrive. The vanilla ice cream contained ice chips. This was nothing like Italian ice cream. It was probably from a bulk pack at a discount store. After waiting about 30 minutes for the beer and asking several times, it was delivered. I refused and wanted to pay. The waiter was very rude. I won't be coming here again.

I haven't had such a delicious pizza in a long time. Even in Italy, you have to struggle to find something comparable. Update 7/11/25: I can only confirm my first review. The vitello tonnato appetizer > super delicious. Pasta and pizza > delizioso.

My aunt and I had an excellent meal yesterday at this lovely restaurant. The seafood spaghetti was of the highest quality and deliciously prepared. We enjoyed the tranquil ambiance in the garden as much as the delicious food. The service was very friendly, attentive, and helpful to us guests. We would be happy to return and can recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Great pizzeria! Great atmosphere, a cozy spot under the trees. Excellent service, you feel welcome here. The food couldn't taste better in Bella Italia. We've been there several times, both for dinner and lunch, and have been very satisfied every time. Very friendly service, even with custom requests, hardly any waiting time, and the pizza is absolutely delicious! The fluffy crust is particularly noteworthy, but the toppings are also more than adequate. The pasta dishes and salads are also highly recommended. We'll be back again and again.

I ordered two pizzas and a salad. The pizzas came with special requests. Everyone was very friendly, and the pizza was truly delicious. One of the best I've had in Germany. Garlic and chili oil are available at the counter. We'd love to come back!

I was looking for Neapolitan pizza and noticed I Fratelli, so I made a reservation and went there: The ambiance (outside) resembled a lackluster beer garden. We ordered 0.5 liters of white wine, water, and two pizzas. The arugula pizza also had really sour tomatoes, which you'd expect to find on bruschetta, perhaps because of this, the pizza was rather lukewarm when served. My wife's verdure pizza was much worse: the pickled vegetables were also quite sour, and the mozzarella was still in pieces on top. The only positive point was the waitress, who actually asked questions and offered to make a new one. The new margarita pizza was okay, about 3/10. Interestingly, we had to pay for the expensive verdure, which was returned, and not the margarita. Conclusion: never again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. My impressions of the kitchen, the processes, and the quality of the ingredients are sobering/appalling.

Delicious food, super friendly service, and a lovely terrace. With a bit of luck, you can even enjoy a concert next door.

Review for I Fratelli Pizzeria Very nice ambiance with a well-kept beer garden – ideal for relaxing. My wife particularly enjoyed the tomato soup: fresh, flavorful, and homemade. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. Overall, a successful visit. We would definitely be happy to come back.

People who write rave reviews amaze me.. the pizza is disgusting. It tastes much worse than it looks. With some kind of chopped up unpalatable fresh tomatoes on top. Grilled vegetables marinated in vinegar.. and this is a pizza for 18€…

It's been better. The pizza was significantly smaller and had artificial flavors. The spaghetti sauce was way too runny. It's a shame, but it was really highly recommended.

Very, very delicious food (pasta, pizza, salad), and it was incredibly quick from ordering to serving. The restaurant is a bit hidden, so you have to find it. But once you do, it's great! Sitting outside under old trees is wonderful.

We went there last week after a long time. And once again, I can only say it was delicious, and I was also very impressed with the service. We were even allowed to bring our large dog into the restaurant after the weather spoiled our plans for the beautiful garden. Where else can you get such friendly and quick service? THANK YOU! The online reservation also works, and you are reminded again on the day of your reservation. Keep up the good work! We highly recommend the restaurant. The price/performance ratio is very good. We received a very friendly welcome and service. The dog even got a water. The food was absolutely delicious. Finally, a restaurant where you can see that seafood or salmon is in the food. We had a good meal and were satisfied. The appetizers were plentiful. The atmosphere was friendly. Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour for two pizzas. That's far too long. Overall, though, we had a positive impression.

The food was incredibly delicious. I've never eaten such a good pizza. The tiramisu for dessert was a dream. You get such a warm welcome here. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Friendly owners and great service staff. We're thrilled and can absolutely recommend this restaurant. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Almost an insider tip—why? Many people seek out a restaurant by the lake, but the journey is worth it: an exceptional location with delicious Italian cuisine and very competent, friendly staff. A beer garden also invites you to linger. Highly recommended.

We went to the Caserne Fallenbrunnen workshop and had various pizzas delivered. ! The pizzas were simply fantastic - the dough was perfectly crispy and the toppings were fresh and tasty. What particularly stands out is the quality of the ingredients, which you could taste in every bite. We had 3 each Margerita, Fungi, Vegetaria, Verdure, Parmigana. The service was also very courteous. The staff was friendly, attentive and very helpful. Despite the full restaurant, our pizzas came quickly. We will be back and look forward to our next visit.

Fantastic food, large portions. The service was friendly but inattentive. Menus were casually placed on the table, and orders were forgotten. Unfortunately, considering the high quality of the food, it's a shame.

The pizza was definitely the best I've eaten since my Naples vacation. Since I tried a pizza baked according to the original recipe in Naples, I haven't really tasted it anywhere else. But here the pizzas are baked the same way. Pizza couldn't be better. Huge compliment to the kitchen.

Were there with more than 20 people and were greeted very friendly. The table in the lounge for the large group was perfect and easy to get to even with a twin stroller. We immediately helped with the two steps to the lounge to carry the car up. The service was more than friendly and our kids were also welcome and got their money's worth😁 The food had really large portions and was super tasty 😁 we felt really at home and would love to come back. I'm still thrilled so far. There are enough parking spaces, plenty of space to go out to eat with a large group and the interaction with the guests was simply family-like.

After a long journey we were looking for a nice restaurant. That's how we ended up at this Italian pearl. In the restaurant itself you sit in a beautiful vault, with the right atmosphere and delicious food. The map is really well prepared and you have everything your heart desires. I had a pizza myself and was offered chili oil and garlic oil. Unfortunately I didn't manage to do everything and the rest was lovingly packed up for me. All 5 🌟 and gladly again!

There were four of us there. The food was fantastic. Salad and pizza. Both very finely prepared. The pizza was great. Crispy, fresh, exactly how it should be. Aperitif and beer in a pleasant atmosphere. Service was super friendly and attentive, but not overly so. Everything was great and absolutely recommended.

Das Restaurant ist etwas abseits der Touristenpfade "versteckt" in einer ehemaligen Kaserne. Wer sich hinfindet wird mit sehr guter Pizza und anderen italienischen Leckereien belohnt.

Unfortunately, if you read the other comments, we don't know what went wrong on our evening. We had lasagna once and another baked pasta dish and both could only eat two forkfuls. Unfortunately, both of them have never eaten so badly. It was so bad that we took it with humor and even now, two weeks later, are still laughing about how inedible it was. Too bad. But service was super accommodating and friendly!

My friend and I went there for the first time today and were unfortunately disappointed. The ambience was nice, but the calzone that my friend ordered tasted so strange that we couldn't eat it. The nice waitress apologized and took the calzone off the bill, even offering tiramisu as an apology. Tomato soup was okay.

Sehr netter Empfang, schöne Atmosphäre. Die Vorspeise Vitello Tonnato war sehr gut (vor allem reichlich). Die Hauptspeise Pizza Mista, angereichert mit selbst hergestellten Ölen (Chili und Knoblauch) war geschmacklich ein Genuss. Meine Frau war mit Tagliatelle i Fratelli hochzufrieden. Die Spaghetti al Limone ebenfalls ein frischer Geschmack und lecker. Jederzeit gerne wieder, sehr zu empfehlen.

Tolles Lokal, gute Küche. Nur der Goggel im Service nervt unnötig und trübt das Erlebnis. Schade - wir sind ohne Reservierung angekommen. Das Lokal war leer und wir wollten eine Kleinigkeit vor einem Konzert essen. Bis zur ersten Reservierung war über eine Stunde Zeit … und wir haben versichert den Tisch rechtzeitig freizumachen. War zuviel verlangt. Ewig auf die Bestellung gewartet und dann warmes Bier und schalen Prosecco bekommen. Schade. War dann aber doch noch ein schöner Abend in der Kulturbühne Caserne. Tipp: Reservieren und den Goggel meiden 😎

Good atmosphere, very pleasant setting in a small, quiet outdoor garden, very nice waiter(s), professional smile(s), good advice and speaking English. Quality and quantity cuisine. We ate lemon spaghetti, mushroom tagliatelle, mushroom escalope and tiramisu. These were the summer suggestions. Favorite for the lemon spaghetti. Good value for money. We went there twice, each time no complaints. 👍🏼 Thanks to the whole team. We recommend.

Very cool beer garden, Very friendly employee, he overlooked us at the beginning because we were sitting hidden behind a small bush, he immediately apologized for that and promised us a dessert on the house and kept it. Great ambience! We spontaneously got a nice table in the garden. The food was very tasty and the best service we have experienced in Friedrichshafen. The three young women in service would definitely have won a medal at the Olympics!!! We will definitely come back on our next holiday on Lake Constance.

It was our first time there and we were satisfied. Unfortunately I have to deduct one point for overcooked pasta. The service was really nice, although after pointing out the overcooked noodles we would have expected something other than just a surprised expression and the statement that they would pass it on. All in all, it's a solid Italian place to eat at, but it didn't blow us away.

You don't have to go to the lake for a delicious pizza. Here you can sit comfortably on a large garden terrace and enjoy the food. Pizzas have really generous toppings, are very large and taste good. Starter was very well pickled and seasoned. The prices are moderate, good value for money. The staff is totally fit, very attentive, super friendly.
