Cozy, but a bit too old-fashioned for me personally. Especially the event hall. The food was average. Update August 24, 2024 Something has happened. The direction is now towards Bavarian cuisine. There's nothing to complain about, the menu is clear, but that's not a disadvantage. In addition, dishes can be read on a blackboard. The service is good, the prices are reasonable. There is a real risk of recurrence.

Well, when you think of a Bavarian restaurant you imagine something different... "lumberjack steak"....the chickens laugh...a 150g slice would just be a starter for a lumberjack. That's already bottom drawer. And then the stereotypical “Wiener Schnitzel” from the freezer. No, really not. The whole thing is languishing at the below-average Hagen gourmet level. Thanks, will have enough of it.

I really don't want to say anything against the restaurant itself, but against today's waiter. When I asked him, not unkindly, but more as a joke, which of the two foods in question tasted better, he reacted annoyed for the first time. In response to my questions in between: rather annoyed. When it came to payment, I was just being nice and asked what he preferred, “cash or card.” Despite the fact that he reacted to me somehow during the evening, I gave a tip of 3 euros (10%). Afterwards he said that he was just annoyed by all my questions. I wasn't unfriendly, cheeky, demanding, etc. That's not possible! ... I told him that if that was bothering him, he should have chosen another career. According to him, he probably won't be there much longer anyway. I hope he learns to distinguish between his guests; there are definitely rude or impolite guests, but there are also those who just want to have a nice evening with a bit of humor.

A Bavarian restaurant where you can eat really well. It is highly recommended

You only get ready meals and they are only made hot. Sauce powder comes from cans... You can't eat there. You can do it even better at home...

A successful dinner in a cozy atmosphere, it was our first time here and certainly not the last time.

Beer garden is quite nice, but unfortunately there is no talk of Bavarian here. Ready-made sauces, schnitzel Viennese style was supposed to be a pork schnitzel, what came was a chicken schnitzel. Fried potatoes were okay... Maybe before you write Bavarian cuisine on something, you should try real Bavarian food. The local people don't know anything else and probably think it's delicious As a real Bavarian, I was very disappointed - not even the simplest things were original. Frying white sausages is pretty much the worst thing you can do. Well, it's a shame about all that money. The only real and really good one was the Starnberger beer 🍺, that's original. Sorry...but you can tell the truth. Oh yeah, the staff was nice.

Anyone who has ever eaten in Bavaria will be disappointed. The food we all had different types of schnitzel and it felt like it was all frozen goods which is very disappointing you should hear the chef knocking the schnitzel. Overall, the food wasn't bad, but when I go to a restaurant I expect more than what I can get at home. Sauces were ready-made sauces, the only really good thing was the service made an effort and the beer was tasty. So I don't want to leave it all alone. I would perhaps recommend moving away from the Bavarian corner because the other guests seemed to like the citizens and the pizza quite well, but I wouldn't think of it as Bavarian.

We would be there on Sunday with a total of 8 people. Both for bowling and for eating. The lanes and rooms in the bowling area could be a little better lit. Otherwise, the service, ambience and food were impeccable! We'd love to come back!

There are 2 bowling alleys and a beer garden, the food is delicious and the portions are quite large.

It was a lovely evening and a nice little silver wedding anniversary celebration. First we played bowling and then ate in the restaurant. Service and waiters were very friendly, food was very tasty. Will come again.

The bald-headed waiter in particular is very charismatic and funny. The food is really delicious, large portions, beautiful presentation, prices are really very fair.

Very nice rustic Bavarian restaurant with good parking right next to the house (Fleyer Straße 123, 58097 Hagen)! The staff is very friendly and quick with processing drinks and food orders! The quality and quantity of the food is very good and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right! I've been there with my partner a few times now, but definitely not the last time! We can only recommend the restaurant! If you like hearty home cooking, you'll get your money's worth here! The desserts are also really impressive and very tasty!

Dined there for the last time today. Last time 3 out of 5 black Glass plates with corners and broken pieces of glass. Today I was insulted by the waiter and, to top it off, a 15 cm to 20 cm long dark hair on my son's schnitzel. When I asked the boss about it, she just said that none of them had black hair. In addition, all the schnitzels looked the same today and the breading was not from the house. Reminded me of schnitzel from the snack bar [frozen pressed meat]. I'm not angry with my money.

Really something different Bavarian cuisine and home cooking. There were 7 of us there and everyone was happy. The prices are really cheap except for the knuckles and the food is good to very good. I can only recommend it.

Waited over 1 hour for the food (4 people, restaurant not overcrowded) and the food was lukewarm. Frozen schnitzel from the deep fryer. Oh well

We went bowling on a Saturday from 4-7 p.m. We liked the food, the prices were okay and the service was friendly. You can bowl well there, there are 2 lanes that are divided by a partition. You can call service at the push of a button. We can recommend Humperts!

We decided to go out to eat at relatively short notice and got a table. The service team is very friendly and you felt welcome. But... unfortunately we had to wait almost 90 minutes for our food. As the owner, I would have been a little more on the ball and perhaps even sent a little greeting from the kitchen to bridge the waiting time. In the meantime two tables have left without eating and they also waited a very long time. It's a shame about the prepared food. When our food came, the mustard and the sauce, as well as the bread, were missing. But the service brought it up when asked. Even the information that staff were unavailable at short notice, which can always happen, unfortunately didn't make the food any better. Some things on the platter were poorly fried and not nicely presented. The red sausage was only crispy on one side and quite mushy on the other side. We actually planned to go out to eat there with 7 people the next few days, but we don't want to put our guests, especially the older ones, through the long wait. It's a shame because we were hoping to have found a nice restaurant with German cuisine.

There were four of us there for the evening. The staff was friendly and quick. The prices are reasonable. Food was very tasty and we will come back.

When we were there 2 years ago, a lot of things weren't right. However, the most recent visit was very different. New concept, new menu. Totally cozy atmosphere. Courteous service and very nice staff. Very good menu. The food was very tasty and was prepared and served quickly. There are a small number of parking spaces right next to the house. There are parking spaces available everywhere in the surrounding area.

No stars for the food because I didn't eat anything. According to other guests, it's all about convenience. The service was terrible (the counter was extremely unfriendly, the waiter was overwhelmed and the poor man was probably put into the open fire as an untrained person). Service was zero... The location was not prepared for a band's performance and was uncomfortable. The event was not advertised by the operator, there were hardly any people there except for a few people who were made aware of this event by the band.

The ambience seems a little old-fashioned, but that's about it. Schnitzel is actually not my thing, but the chili schnitzel was surprisingly tasty and cheap. Even with three drinks I ended up around €26. I would like to come back again and bring the family with me. I wouldn't have thought. The bowling alley was also great. The young man in service was always in action, friendly and hard-working.

Seit der kulinarischen Orientierung hin Richtung Bayern und Österreich, gefällt uns das Humperts noch besser. Wir essen dort gerne, wenn wir Lust auf Hausmannskost haben.

Hallo zusammen, Essen war lauwarm.😢 Wie schonJemand bemerkte kommt es vom Zulieferer. Gastronomie geht besser. Einrichtung sehr altbacken. Für mich keine Option. 😎😎

Tolles Ambiente. Mein Grünkohl und die Bratkartoffeln waren spitze.

Weihnachtsessen war überteuert. Fast Food Gänsekeule. Mal eben zu Weihnachten Kohle machen. Uns sieht man nicht wieder.

Familienessen am zweiten Weihnachtstag, allerdings war der Besuch nicht wirklich feierlich. Die Weihnachtskarte hat uns etwas überrascht. Absolut keine Salate (auch nicht als Beilage) haben es auf die Karte geschafft. Daher habe ich mich für das „Wild Edel Ragout“ mit Rotkohl und Klößen entschieden. Geschmacklich war es ok. Ein weiterer Kloß wäre allerdings schön gewesen. Der Service war sehr hölzern, Gerichte und Getränke wurden im Pommesbudenstil, aber durchaus nett und freundlich auf den Tisch „gepoltert“. Mein Highlight war die laktosefreie Dessertalternative, warme Zimtpflaumen.

Ein rundum gelungener Abend mit Speis und Trank.

War ein schöner Abend zur Weihnachtsfeier mit dem Büro. Kegelbahnen war auch gut. Bedienung hat uns schnell mit Getränken versorgt. Essen war nachdem Kegeln ohne Wartezeit auf dem Tisch. Ich kann das lokal nur empfehlen!

Haben uns mit den Kollegen zum Kegeln hier getroffen. Ambiente gut, Service sehr gut. Wurden oft höflich gefragt ob alles in Ordnung wäre. Hatte mich auf die Gänsekeule gefreut die leider zu klein und trocken war. Die Gerichte aus der Karte waren gut lt. meinen Kollegen. Wir kommen wieder

Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Sehr nette Bedienung. Die Kegelbahn hat eine neue Bestuhlung bekommen was sehr gut gewesen ist. Hier würde ich gerne wieder Essen und Kegeln gehen. Leider keine Barrierefreiheit, ein paar Stufen zur Kegelbahn gibt es, es kann aber eine Schräge umgebaut werden die auch schon vorhanden ist. 👍

Nach vielen tollen Erfahrungsberichten meiner Familie, wollte ich nun endlich auch mal hier essen, muss aber sagen, dass ich mit gemischten Gefühlen wieder gefahren bin. Ich habe auf Empfehlung die Rinderrouladen bestellt, die auch wirklich lecker, aber leider kalt waren. Als wir dies angemerkt haben, ist die Bedienung etwas unhöflich geworden, den ganzen Abend über hatten wir das Gefühl, dass es nicht ganz sein Tag war. Er vergaß trotz Erinnerung unsere Getränke und obwohl wenig los war, hat alles recht lange gedauert. Aufgrund der positiven Erzählungen meiner Familie gehe ich davon aus, dass das eine Ausnahme war und nicht auf den generellen Service übertragbar ist. Als Entschuldigung für das kalte Essen bot man uns dann auch ein Heißgetränk aufs Haus an, sehr aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist so gar nicht meins, wer ein kultiges deutsches Gasthaus sucht, wird hier aber vermutlich zufrieden sein. Positiv: es gab eine vernünftige Menge an vegetarischen und veganen Speisen!

Gute Bürgerliche Küche mit freundlicher Bedienung. Das Restaurant hat zwar den Scharm einer Dorfkneipe aber das Angebotene Essen ist wirklich gut. Ich kann einen Besuch zum Essen nur empfehlen.

Sehr schön eingerichtete Gaststätte. Käsespätzle nicht zu empfehlen. Man sollte sich hier die typischen deutschen Gerichte gönnen. Dann ist alles top!

Freunde eingeladen, was für eine Enttäuschung!!! Neue Karte, Pizza, vegan, Cocktail Happy Hour und versteckte Preiserhöhungen. Deutsche Gastronomie, wir waren am Freitag Abend allein im Restaurant. Schnitzel bestellt, plattgeklopft serviert, aber wo ist der Beilagen Salat? Den muss man nun extra bestellen, satte Erhöhung um 2,30 Euro. Angeblich haben 70 Prozent den Salat nicht gegessen. Wir hatten dort viele Familienfeiern und jeder hat den Salat gegessen. Da meist älteres Publikum dort verkehrt, sollte man das neue Konzept noch mal überdenken und zurück zur deutschen Gastronomie kehren !!!

Das Essen war gut, jedoch gänzlich vom Zulieferer. Der Service war super, wir wurden stets gefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei, ohne dass es aufdringlich war. Das Ambiente hat mir persönlich gut gefallen und hat den Stil eines modernisierten deutschen Wirtshauses. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber und gut erreichbar. Insgesamt hatten wir einen wunderbaren Abend und kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen ist nichts besonderes

Die veganen Schnitzel sind sehr lecker, Das Gasthaus hat das gewisse etwas. Gerne komme ich wieder.

Erinnert ein bisschen an 60ziger Jahre. Essen schmeckte ganz gut aber nichts besonderes und war sehr übersichtlich. Das vegetarische Essen war bis auf die Bratkartoffeln recht geschmacksneutral. Der Service war freundlich aber unsicher im Umgang.

Ich werde es nicht mehr weiter empfehlen. War lange nicht in Hagen, zugegebenermaßen. Im Humpert zuletzt 2019. Ich lebe nicht in Deutschland und habe mich sehr auf die Küche gefreut, die ich von vorher kannte. Volle Enttäuschung, 3 - 4 traditionell Deutsch/Westfälische Gerichte, 2-3 "normale" Kneipengerichte, Salat und was vegan/vegetarisches. Das war alles 🤥 Gefühlt dreiviertel der Karte waren Getränke, meist irgendwas mit Alkohol. Mein Schnitzel war ok. Meine Frau musste unbedingt Nudeln mit Scampi haben🤥. Die mindestens 3 Handvoll cashew Nüsse drin haben aber leider den ganzen Geschmack des sicherlich gut gemeinten Gerichts durchwegs versaut. Die jungen Leute, die den Läden schmissen, haben auf unsere Einlassung diesbezüglich nur mit den Schultern gezuckt.🤷 Positiv hervorheben muss ich das das Lokal an einem Sonntag Nachmittag, wie im Internet beschrieben, um 16 Uhr geöffnet und die Küche in Betrieb war👍🏻👍🏻 Sehr positiv: Die Bedienung hat freundlich und pro-aktiv bedient, sich immer um uns gekümmert und auf die Getränke geachtet. Das lag m.E. nicht nur daran, das wir zu dem Zeitpunkt gefühlt die einzigen waren.👍🏻👍🏻Das war sehr professionell! Die alte Karte vermisse ich und muss nun sehen wo ich in Deutschland, wenn ich denn mal da bin, gute Westfälische Oma/Mutti Küche bekomme. Das Gasthaus Humpert fällt leider stand heute weg.🤷

Ich war Gastkeglerin! Befand mich auf einer Kegelbahn und dem dazu gehörenden Raum mit einem sehr speziellen maroden Charme! Zurück versetzt in die 60iger Jahre habe ich einen Salat gegessen, die Blätter eher schon schlapp und ein wenig lieblos auf den Teller gelegt. Brot gab es überschaubar, in Form von 2 Weizensticks, ich weiß nicht, wie ich diese geschmacklosen Dinger bezeichnen soll. Einzig hervorheben möchte ich die sehr freundliche und flinke Bedienung! Diese junge Dame, deren Name ich leider vergessen habe, ist so aufmerksam, da konnte ich großzügig über den mangelhaften Salat hinwegsehen! Getränke gut gekühlt, kamen prompt und schnell. Zu den anderen Speisen kann ich nicht wirklich etwas sagen. Ich sah die Schnitzel, probierte die Süßkartoffelpommes, eher zu dunkel fritiert, verlockend fand ich das alles nicht! Da gibt es noch gehörig Luft nach oben. Resümee: Kegeln, etwas trinken ja, Essen eher nicht! Ich besuchte das Lokal am 14.04. 2023

Sehr gute bürgerliche Küche in Portionsgrößen, von denen man super satt wird. Sehr freundlicher und aufmersamer Service, der aber dennoch nicht aufdringlich rüber kam. Das Ambiente ist für die gut bürgerlichen Gerichte passend.

Super Essen, nette Bedienung, solide Preise

Ich war seit langem mal wieder dort und angenehm überrascht. Das Essen war für mich ausgezeichnet. Das Einzige was ich ändern würde ,wäre eine gemütlichere Atmosphäre...das Licht wäre gedämmt schöner gewesen .

Wir waren an einem Wochenende da und waren zunächst verwundert dass das gasthaus was ich von früher kannten relativ leer war waren während eines Phönix Hagen spielt gegen 20 Uhr mit einer 7er Gruppe da. Wir hatten Glück und konnten noch hinten auf eine kegelbahn bekommen und Kegeln. Das Ambiente der kegelbahn war super die Bahn war einfach zu bedienen. Insbesondere die getränkekarte mit vielen qualitativ hochwertigen schnäpsen hat uns sehr positiv beeindruckt. Unsere Kellnerin glänzte weder mit besonderer Freundlichkeit noch mit Fähigkeiten in ihrem Job, konnte uns nichts empfehlen, war allerdings die ganze Zeit bei uns in der Nähe und brachte uns schnell Getränke, da sie bei jeder Runde noch mal fünf Minuten Pause gemacht im nebenraum. Vom Essen waren wir überhaupt nicht überzeugt, ob es daran lag, dass aufgrund der wenigen Gäste mit teilweise Convenience-Produkten gearbeitet wurde können wir nur vermuten. Andy Speise Qualität in einem Gasthaus haben wir höhere Ansprüche. alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Abend mit wirklich leckeren Schnäpsen
