Hotel Restaurant International in Hagen

Wir waren hier essen, weil es eines der wenigen Restaurants in der Gegend ist, die auch vegane und vegetarische Gerichte anbieten. Zunächst zur Atmosphäre: Das Restaurant ist rustikal eingerichtet mit schöner Deko aus älteren Zeiten, u.a. Schiffsmodellen. Einerseits urig, andererseits etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir fanden es aber gemütlich. Was wir super finden: Es gibt ein kleines Salatbuffet, an dem man sich einfach zu jeder Hauptspeise bedienen kann, die Auswahl war gut und alles war super frisch. Die Speisekarte ist überwiegend jugoslawisch geprägt, aber enthält auch deutsche Küche. Sie ist daher sehr fleischlastig. Es gibt aber einen Abschnitt mit vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten, was super ist. Allerdings wird das Pastagericht mit Parmesan ausgewiesen, dieser ist aufgrund des enthaltenen tierischen Labs aber nicht vegetarisch. Wir haben dann diese Pasta (ohne Parmesan und ohne Paprika) sowie den veganen Teller bestellt. Als andere aus unserer Gruppe danach Fleisch bestellten, kommentierte der Kellner dies mit "So bestellen echte Männer, nicht Pasta ohne dies und ohne das" und hat damit ganz klar meine Bestellung gemeint. Das sollte sicher ein Witz sein, ich fand es aber überhaupt nicht lustig. Ich habe es als Abwertung vegetarischer und veganer Küche empfunden und frage mich, wieso das Restaurant diese dann anbietet, wenn sie eventuell Problem damit haben. Das Essen war dann tatsächlich aber lecker, das Gemüse des veganen Tellers war gut gegrillt und die Pasta sehr cremig und mit viel Gemüse. Außerdem waren die Portionsgrößen angemessen. Der Service war bis auf die o.g. Situation freundlich und schnell. Die Preise sind nicht super günstig, aber für Qualität und Menge aus meiner Sicht fair. Den obligatorischen Schnaps auf Haus gab es am Ende auch dazu. Insgesamt würde ich für das Essen eigentlich eine gute Bewertung abgeben. Da ich mich als Vegetarier aber subjektiv nicht willkommen gefühlt habe, kann ich Insgesamt nur eine mittelgute Bewertung abgeben.

Wir waren das erste Mal in diesem Restaurant. Hatten ein Gutschein Buch. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt, durften uns einen Tisch aussuchen und entschieden uns für die Terrasse 😀. Salat durfte man sich holen, soviel man wollte. Das Essen war richtig frisch und von guter Qualität!!!!! Echt klasse. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und witzig. Haben uns wohl gefühlt. Kommen gerne wieder auch ohne Gutscheinbuch 👍😊 Bitte genau so weitermachen 👍 Möchten uns bei dem Besitzer bedanken,das wir so nett aufgenommen wurden... Ich sag nur altrosa!!!!!(Insider 😊👍)

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier, ohne vorab Reservierung mit 4 Personen noch einen Tisch bekommen obwohl es gut besucht war. Mit dem Gutscheinbuch war alles kein Problem. Wir wurden sehr schnell und total freundlich bedient. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft und gute Portionen. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis top. Wir kommen , trotz langer Anfahrt, auf jeden Fall wieder..... sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Ambiente 🕍 im Haus und die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr geschmackvoll und mit großer Liebe eingerichtet, richtig schön. Ganz besonders loben wir die⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Küche für das unübertreffliche  Essen in eurem Haus. Wir finden, dass die Küche ein Meisterwerk im Fach ihrer Kunst ist. Die vielseitigen Gerichte lassen das Herz hoch schlagen und es gibt nichts, was das Herz ❤️  betrübt. Ich habe über Monate einige Gerichte ausprobiert und das Ergebnis war  🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 + 🌟 nicht zu übertreffen, vorzüglich also. Es gibt auch ein  Salatbuffet 🥗 vor dem Essen, was immer frisch und mit vorzüglichen Soßen versehen ist. Die Getränke, wie Kaffee ☕️, Latte Macchiato 🍵 und Wasser 🥛 sind sehr zu empfehlen und geben der Seele Zufriedenheit und Ruhe. Der Herr des Hauses ist ein sehr sympathischer 👨‍🦱 Mann, der mit seiner Freundlichkeit dem Essen die richtige Würze verleiht. Auch die Leute im Service  👨 sind zu jedem Gast sehr freundlich und höflich und man fühlt sich pudelwohl. Es gibt auch eine große 🏞  Terrasse, die sehr gemütlich gestaltet ist. Auch an die kleinen Kinder  👨‍👩‍👦‍👦  hat man gedacht und einen Spielplatz 🛝 im unteren Hof gebaut. Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit allem und kommen gerne jeder Zeit wieder. Wir fühlen uns bei euch wie Zuhause und genießen die kostbare Zeit in vollen Zügen bei euch. Doch wenn es Zeit ist, dass wir gehen müssen, denken wir schon wieder ans Wiederkommen. Auch ein großes Anliegen für uns ist, dass wir euch lieben, weil ihr gläubige Menschen seid und an Gott und seinen Sohn Jesus Christus glaubt, der uns Menschen alle liebt und retten will. Amen. The service and food were very satisfactory, but the highlight of the evening was the patio door, which was an absolute joke 😂

The food at the restaurant was truly excellent – ​​delicious and highly recommended. Unfortunately, the owner's manner didn't live up to the same standard. Even when my dish was served, the waiter asked in a very harsh tone who had ordered the "Schindelteller" (a type of charcuterie). Since I had remembered the number rather than the name, I was momentarily unsure. The tone and manner of the question seemed unnecessarily unfriendly, making me feel immediately uncomfortable. The server, on the other hand, was always very friendly. We had also used the voucher book and mentioned this both when making the reservation and when ordering. However, we received no indication that this meant our table was time-limited. After about an hour and a half, we were asked quite directly if we "wanted anything else" because other guests were already waiting for a table. This made us feel anything but welcome, and we eventually left. It was also noticeable that other guests were offered a digestif or a nightcap after paying – but we weren't. We only received one after asking. Unfortunately, this didn't contribute to a pleasant overall impression. Many things could have been resolved very simply and politely: A brief note when ordering, explaining that if using the voucher book or due to high demand, the table would only be available for 1.5–2 hours, would have been perfectly acceptable. A friendlier tone from the owner would also have been appreciated. In conclusion: The food was excellent, the server very friendly, but the owner was unfortunately unfriendly. This made us feel unwelcome, which significantly detracted from the otherwise very good impression of the food.

We visited this restaurant for the first time today. We didn't make a reservation using my voucher book. Although it was quite busy, we still got a table. Our order was taken quickly and arrived without a long wait. The food was delicious, and the service was always very friendly. It was definitely worth it.

The salad buffet is a great idea, allowing everyone to prepare their own salad to their liking. The food is also a decent portion. You'll definitely be full here. The ambiance outside on the terrace is quite nice, at least right at the edge with a view of the river. The ambiance inside is good. We felt very comfortable. Parking is available both in front of and behind the building, and I think there are plenty of them. We'd love to come back!

The Restaurant Internationalen in Rummenohl pleasantly surprised me with its friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and varied menu. The dishes are always freshly prepared, delicious, and lovingly presented. The international selection, in particular, offers something for every taste – from hearty meat dishes to vegetarian options. The prices are fair, and the staff is attentive and courteous. A true insider tip in the region, one that I'd happily recommend and definitely want to visit again.

We've been regulars at the International for years. Even when we haven't been there for a while, we always receive a friendly welcome. The service is first-class, and even when the place is full, we're served promptly. The food is served simultaneously, no matter the group size, is plentiful, and tastes excellent. The menu is very diverse. The terrace, with its retractable walls, is a particularly lovely place to linger. We're happy to come back again and again.

Unfortunately we didn't sit at the front of the restaurant, where it is more comfortable, but at the back in the hall. After we ordered, the food was on the table in less than 10 minutes. I have to deduct 2 stars from the service because he didn't ask how we would like the steaks and when asked a few minutes later, nothing could be changed. The food wasn't great, the seniors' plate had no vegetables at all, just fried potatoes and meat and the plate for 2 people... the vegetables were so soft, you could think they had been prepared the day before, the cordon bleu was hard and... tough, and it seemed to us as if the dish, apart from the steaks and fries, had been ready for a long time and had just been kept warm. We weren't very happy.

If you like eating meat, you'll get your money's worth here. The side dishes were also great and the salad buffet was fresh (even if it was a bit boring, so a poor alternative for vegetarian/vegan companions). Everything was clean and the atmosphere was inviting. The only drawback: it is quite remote, so most people won't go there every week. But a visit is definitely recommended. P.S.: There are voucher books 😄

We have eaten here several times. We were always very satisfied until yesterday. On August 3rd, 2024, my husband had Mexico plate and I had grilled salmon, which I had already eaten there and was very excited about. But the salmon was small, the sauce thick and little, the mashed potatoes with spinach was tasteless and watery. The dessert had no loving decoration. It's a shame, maybe because it's vacation time.

It was my first time in this restaurant. I've only been told good things so far. And I can only confirm these positive recommendations. The ambience is very nice. You feel comfortable straight away. You can spend lovely evenings on the outdoor terrace in summer. The employees are very friendly and accommodating and always have a nice saying to say. We were able to order quickly. And we got our food quickly too. We found this to be very tasty. Everyone has had enough. I will definitely eat there more often now as a guest.

The staff was very friendly, we got our food very quickly, too quickly, meat heated up in the deep fryer doesn't work at all 😥 Fried potatoes were steamed rather than fried. Quality has deteriorated massively, which is a shame.
