Thank you again for the warm welcome at your hotel on May 27th. The room and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast was truly excellent; nothing was lacking. We received very courteous and friendly service in the evening. The food was excellent. We thank you and your competent team and will recommend your hotel to others. We would be happy to return.

My room was being cleaned, all my clothes seemed to have been looked through, I know how I left it when I left the hotel in the morning, it's not nice to look through someone else's private things

I was there ALONE for business. I booked directly at reception. Not via an app, as I wanted WITHOUT BREAKFAST. When checking in, the question was as usual: do they want breakfast with or without, and I asked the hotelier without it. Okay. Then it would cost €12 less. I paid. I got the bill and didn't look at it again. Mistake, as it turns out. A few days later, I wanted to submit the bill for business purposes and then noticed that the bill said I checked in with two people and was charged two breakfasts, totaling €24. As the effort would have been too great, going back and forth with credit cards and getting a new bill, I unfortunately have to pay for the breakfast portion myself. About the ROOM: I had a room facing the street. Firstly, even though it was on the ground floor, it was terribly hot. I can understand that in a higher room, e.g. on the attic. Well, it was just like that, you just have to open the window to sleep, I THOUGHT... Downtown street, meaning loud pedestrians right next to the window until midnight, then a few trolleys rattling over the cobblestones, and then the garbage collection just before 6:00 in the morning. Yes, these aren't things the hotelier can directly do anything about, but then maybe they should provide a fan or install an air conditioner. After 5.5 hours of sleep in a completely poorly furnished room and the incorrect bill, I'll stay in the neighboring hotel next time I'm in this beautiful city.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here. Our room on the second floor was modern, very clean, and decorated with great attention to detail. The comfortable bed with its memory foam mattress is particularly noteworthy – we slept very well and started the day wonderfully rested. The room was equipped with everything you need, and the bathroom was also spacious and furnished with everything you could possibly need. You immediately notice that the owners place great importance on comfort and a hassle-free stay. We found the information folder in the room particularly useful – it contained many useful tips and additional services that you can easily discuss with the reception. The service was consistently friendly and attentive; you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is pleasantly relaxed, and the interaction with guests has almost a familial feel. The breakfast also left nothing to be desired: plentiful, varied, and lovingly prepared – a perfect start to the day! Overall, a highly recommended hotel for anyone who values comfort, warmth, and a personal touch. We would love to come back!

The hotel is located almost in the center of Beckum. There are parking spaces in the inner courtyard and in front of the hotel, which are actually sufficient. How to check in at night can be arranged over the phone. The hotel itself is chic and cozy, but I wasn't really happy with my room as there were a few "defects" I slept well, you could darken it very well with an awning if it worked properly. The furnishings in the room are old-fashioned. Everything you need is there. It looks neat and clean. A refreshing welcome drink is available. I didn't have time to visit the restaurant, but it looked very interesting.

We've eaten at the restaurant several times and have been more than satisfied every time. The service is excellent and the food tastes delicious. The atmosphere is very welcoming and homely. You feel very comfortable. We always enjoy coming back.

1. Zur vereinbarten Checkinzeit war niemand vor Ort. Das war bei meinem letzten Aufenthalt auch schon so, daher vielleicht kein Zufall. 2. Die Begrüßung war eher unfreundlich, offensichtlich war die Dame im Stress. 3. Das Zimmer war kalt, ich schätze es waren 18 Grad. Die Einrichtung und Technik im Zimmer entspricht dem Standard vor 30 Jahren. 4. Am Waschbecken war der Behälter für die Handseife leer. 5. Das Essen im Restaurant war mittelmäßig. Im Gulasch waren zähe Stücke. Anstatt des in der Karte aufgeführten grünen Salats gab es fast kalten Rotkohl. Auf Nachfrage wurde ein gemischter Salat mit viel rohem Paprika nachgereicht. 6. Im Lokal lief ein großer Hund des Wirts frei zwischen den Tischen umher. Das kann man, muss man aber nicht gut finden. 7. Die Dusche im Zimmer 29 war defekt. Der Schlauch war nicht dicht und das meiste Wasser ging in die falsche Richtung. 8. Das Frühstück war gut und war nur durch die lauten Privatgepräche der Eigentümer/Angestellten beeinflusst Die einzelnen kleinen Fehler ergeben ein Gesamtbild, welches mich beim nächsten Besuch in Beckum ein anderes Hotel wählen lässt. Bei eine Preis von über 100 € für ein Einzelzimmer wird das sicher möglich sein.

Ich habe im Hotel Samson sehr gut geschlafen und in der gemütlichen Gaststube sehr lecker gegessen. Das Hotel hat eigene Parkplätze und die Familie Samson und ihre Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen.

I've noticed several times that the quality is slowly declining, but yesterday's order unfortunately confirmed my decision not to order again. There were a few problems with the delivery. I wouldn't have complained for that alone. But when I noticed that my salad came with tuna (it's not on the menu, and I'm a vegetarian), I tried it anyway, and it was very warm and tasteless, so I called the pizzeria again. They delivered me a new salad (a proper one this time), which was unfortunately also warm and overall tasteless. Of course, it's difficult to maintain cold chains at these temperatures, but I think they should work with coolers or something similar. With the second delivery, I was also told not to complain, and even on the phone, I got the feeling that it wasn't really taken seriously. So, apparently, they don't take criticism very seriously, which is a shame, because it used to be a really good pizzeria. I would still like to mention that I received a bottle of Sprite as compensation… At least. I probably won't order again, though. What a shame!
