This April, we dined at the Windmühle with my family and my father for the second time. The food was absolutely top-notch, the service was fantastic, and Mr. Nettebrock's care – especially for my two boys – was simply fantastic. ;-) We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back!

I happened to be passing by here and was well looked after! The kitchen greeted me with the best of what I could wish for. Afterwards, I had a wonderful dinner and even had dessert... A must-see! Thank you!

We were passing through and looking for somewhere to eat when we stumbled upon this restaurant. We received a warm welcome. Hospitality is a top priority. And the food was simply outstanding and delicious! We'd be happy to return.

Great food, both appetizers and main courses delicious, comfortable rooms, cheerful owner, easy to joke around with, and helpful with menu suggestions. The restaurant is one of the best I've been to in Germany. I highly recommend it.

We spent a wonderful evening at this quaint inn. Upon entering, the atmosphere among the guests took some getting used to. No one was talking during the meal. The owner's recommendations and the opportunity to customize the menu were fantastic. The food was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was very attentive. They brought more bread with the appetizer because we had leftover dip – something you hardly find anywhere these days. Price-performance ratio was beyond excellent! We'd love to come back. We are "repeat offenders" and, despite an hour's drive, we always like to come back "home" to Gabriele and Norbert Nettebrock and, not to forget, cuddly dog ​​Alwa. We have also brought other relatives and acquaintances with us who enjoyed Norbert's super good and very entertaining service as well as the always first-class food. The last time there was a golden wedding couple, a 50-year-old wine was served (without prior agreement) and certainly not for 100s of euros, but it was all the more delicious. An unforgettable highlight, especially for the golden couple. Norbert's credo of not wanting to satisfy the guests, but rather to inspire them, is implemented again and again skillfully and individually with each guest in mind. It's just a good thing that after the variety of excellent courses and sometimes more than 10 different wines in tolerable quantities, there is an option to stay overnight in cozy rooms. Yes, and the next morning there is no rude awakening, neither from the stomach or the headache, nor from the charge on the credit card. The price/performance ratio is absolutely right here. A star chef without stars who serves his culinary delicacies for reasonable non-star prices. This also applies the way we handle it, if we don't want to see a menu at all, but simply want Norbert to advise us on what he can conjure up at the moment. And there are many different offers and alternatives. Problem: spoiled for choice. And then there is the good soul a little in the background, his wife Gabriele, who is responsible for a lot of things to keep everything running, but also for the dessert and sweet treats. That's also a treat! We are already looking forward to the "Lobster Number" next week, where we will also eat the menu that we know in advance (for the first time) together with all the other guests, exceptionally a la carte, and perhaps have one or two as well.

We have been to the restaurant a few times now and have been very satisfied every time. The owner gives very good advice and quickly recognizes the tastes of his guests. So he put together an individual menu for us each time. The wines are top. It's nice that you can just sit down in the restaurant in a beer mood and have just as much fun as with the appropriate wine to accompany the menu. We will definitely be there again when we visit Beckum.

Hello, I recently went there for dinner with my wife, and the food was simply amazing. We each had the second menu, with five courses, and every dish was simply delicious 😋. Mr. Nettebrock, the owner and the person who served us, was also very friendly, very nice, chatty, and very accommodating. It didn't feel like we were in a restaurant, but more like a guest at the home of a good friend who is a great cook and who simply cooked us something delicious. It was simply amazing, and we haven't had anything as good as that anywhere else. So it gets 5 stars, it deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very friendly hosts, rooms are tidy and clean. In a conversation with the host in the restaurant, I suggested that a Jägerschnitzel would be delicious... the kitchen immediately prepared it fresh, even though it wasn't actually on the menu 😅 Great service

Here you can eat at a star level at reasonable prices. If you want to have a nice evening with very good food and perfect service and appreciate the work behind it and the quality, then you've come to the right place. It is absolutely advisable to ask the chef for advice on food. He will ask about your wishes and preferences and put together a menu that will please your palate to the highest degree. If you are a wine lover, follow the recommendation of the wine accompaniment to the individual courses. The wines that I drank here on several visits were all great. The boss also likes to recommend the app, which allows you to find out more about the individual wines and where you can buy them. The cost of a bottle of wine of this quality is also rather low for a restaurant of this level. If you would like to make someone else happy and enjoy a special experience, come here! Addendum, another visit and a culinary delight again, mega delicious!

The hotel is located a bit away from the town of Bekum but is easy to reach and has good, free parking spaces included. The room was very clean and comfortably furnished. Free WiFi and good cell phone reception were also there. The service and the employees get 6 out of 5 stars. Super friendly, very helpful and always warm and friendly. Were visiting Beckum and were looking for accommodation. Super small and fine hotel with a restaurant and super friendly owners. The rooms are clean and offer everything you need. Price performance is definitely right here.
