Hotel Rosenhof in Ramstein-Miesenbach

A very nice hotel. Very close to the American military base, which was important to me. Quiet location, excellent breakfast. I received water, an apple, and some sweets when I left. Very nice! The furniture in the room is a bit dated, but very clean and has everything you need. Thank you!

Overall I was not impressed with the Hotel Rosenhof. We picked this hotel due to its proximity to our work location, which was the only convenient and upside factor for this stay. For starters we booked a "suite superior" and then we were told we'd be staying in the apartments that they have. These apartments were not apart of the hotel and located a few minutes away. Secondly, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I slept most of my nights on the couch that was in the living room. The pillows were extremely cheap and did not hold their shape at all. The water in the bathroom was quite disgusting. The water in the toilet was brown, for the first few days until it got used (probably stagnant water and old pipes, but I don't know for sure) The water from the bathroom sink was very dirty. I ran it for about 10 minutes once getting there and it was still spitting out black and brown water, so I just didn't use it the rest of the stay. The breakfast the provided said on the website that it would 10 euro. However they told us upon checking in, that because of "how we booked our reservation and the website we used" it would be 18 euro instead. That makes no sense, and I believe we were just being charged extra because it was company paid. The breakfast was certainly not worth 18 euro (eggs, bacon, toast, coffee and cereal does not justify 18 euro) Lastly, upon checking out we asked for our receipts to be printed so that we would be able to upload them once we got home. We had only been given 1 receipt for our stay which was for a block of 10 days (we stayed for 27 nights so we would need 3, plus the 3 for the days we had breakfast) At first we were told "they could not print them, and should have received them already" We eventually worked with Susan who was able to print the receipts we needed. But it was an unnecessarily difficult ordeal just to get our receipts for our stay.

Great value. Very nice front desk people. Plenty of parking. We’ve stayed at many of the hotels in this town and we’ll definitely pick Rosenhof again. It’s a great place to sleep off the jet lag. Nearby McDonalds is an easy 5 minute walk. I also like that everything was 1 level. Motel style. No dragging luggage up a few flights of stairs.

I was at the Rosenhof with my boys for a men's weekend. Excellent welcome from the reception and manager, including tips for the surrounding area. The room was perfectly adequate and well-equipped. Dinner, steak 😋 and fries, was rounded off by wonderful, attentive service. The breakfast buffet also met our expectations. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing 7days stay in Rosenhof Hotel. They have both modern and traditional choices of rooms. Their rooms are very clean and a spacious room. Plus a delicious breakfast with a lot of choices. I will never forget their amazing German style restaurant. Staff is also friendly and approachable. They made our vacation unforgettable.

The room was imaculant without workable A/C. Super loud noise because of construction across the street and at the hotel. We reserved the room for 7 days. 3 out 7 days, we were walked in on and had to hurry to get dressed. The younger lady was really nice and personable. However, the older lady, not so much, which made us uncomfortable staying there. In my opinion, the hotel would be really nice for someone passing through. We are retired military, traveling from stateside and wanted to relax, be comfortable, and enjoy leisure. This place just didn't do it for us. The movie theater, McDonalds, and a little pub were in walking distance. The military base is NOT! We did not have the breakfast or meals at the hotel, so we can't rate that.

Everything was very clean and good. My room only had one window, which was built into the entrance door, so it was a bit dark. Breakfast costs €18; for that price, I skipped breakfast and can't say whether it's worth it. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel with a restaurant.

My company had booked a room there. Since I was working very late, I didn't get to the room until around 11:30 p.m. I did get in, but the phone was already occupied. No one answered the emergency phone. Despite calling several times and leaving messages on the answering machine, there was no response. So, basically, zero stars.

Great service and the apartment was excellent. Will highly recommend to my fellow service members looking for temporary lodging.

We stayed at the Rosenhof for a getaway with friends – it was fantastic! The room was cozy and modern, the beach bag for our visit to the Cubo, the delicious dinner, and the good breakfast. Everything was perfect! We'd love to go back!

The room I booked was unable to be opened due to lock issues. Manager argued with me about still paying full price for that room even though i stayed in the cheapest room on property. They had a sign that said to call for a late check in but no one answered. We're unwilling to admit they were in the wrong. Will never stay here again. No i was not in the suite. I was told the doors the the suite were locked and the key to unlock doors did not work. I was told on Monday night that the door had been fixed and when I went to the front desk to change rooms I was again told that the door could not be fixed. I was not told check in had to be done at 4pm. Even still that is a very early time to require people to check in. I stand by my review.

It's a bit old, but they're trying to keep everything in good condition. Unfortunately, an unpleasant smell greeted me in the room, probably from one of the siphons. After showering and airing out the room, it was bearable again. TV reception was not possible, regardless of the fact that the laptop was supposed to work for one night. Internet is good and stable. The room was otherwise clean and functionally furnished. Active ventilation would be an advantage in the bathroom since there is no window. The food in the restaurant was clear but good. At breakfast I would have liked a small pot of coffee instead of a cup that is refilled depending on the staff. This resulted in me only being able to enjoy one that morning.

Were there for Christmas Day. Very good and large buffet, friendly staff and clean toilet facilities, which is also important, I think! Location a bit hidden. There are enough parking spaces available. Despite the proximity to the motorway, there is hardly any noise pollution. Highly recommended, also for families or company celebrations.

We visited the Rosenhof Restaurant for the Thanksgiving buffet, and were very impressed by the outstanding service by the staff. Thanks especially to Ahmet for attention to detail and making it such a nice dinner for our family.

Great hotel near the US base. Staff is nice, bar / restaurant are a little pricey for what you get but nothing is bad.

The first impression: when you enter the room you are immediately struck by a musty, damp smell and there are earplugs on the beds. Due to the direct location on the motorway and the poor soundproofing of the rooms, these are absolutely necessary. But these are definitely not enough for sensitive sleepers. The mattresses are very soft, and extremely springy. As soon as your partner moves in bed, you are thrown through the air. You could sleep better on a poorly inflated air mattress. If a car drives into the parking lot at night, you will be aware of this thanks to the automatic lighting in the room. Darkening through the thin curtains is not possible. I will never book here again!

Very good experience. There was a little problem which could create me some problems but the owner understood my issue and spontaneously found a solution to that. The room i reserved, a suite, was super confortable. I guess perfect for 2 or a small family. The restaurant is good and has tasty dishes for a very good price compared to other hotels in the area. There is also a spacious parking. All good, keep taking good care of your guest.

Very friendly hotel. The pricing policy is difficult for business travelers. Like the air conditioning, WiFi, etc. Must be paid separately. But otherwise really nicely done. Our special requests for food were fulfilled whenever possible. For guests who are sensitive to noise, I recommend one of the rooms at the back, as the highway runs right past it. See Google Maps. Important .. the rooms are cleaned upon request.

I stayed for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I was in the apartments in downtown Landstuhl, and was always within walking distance to the services I needed. I stopped by for breakfast one morning and had a delicious meal. I definitely will consider staying here again on my next trip to the area.

WE LOVED OUR MILITARY FAMILY FRIENDLY HOTEL just minutes outside of RAMSTEIN AB! The kind, supportive staff at the front desk of HOTEL ROSENHOF made making reservations and travel arrangements very easy despite being 6 hours ahead of us in Virginia. All the staff spoke PERFECT English, which put me at ease during our phone conversations in the states as well as my interactions with them in person. The rooms are a bit smaller than standard ones in America but they are super CLEAN and super QUIET with very comfortable beds. Our family chose to stay there on vacation so we could take an RTT Bus tour to Paris from RAMSTEIN AB. Oh! Make sure you book your rooms with "Breakfast included". They feature delicious coffees and expressos, tasty breads and cheeses, as well as traditional hot offerings like eggs, sausage, and bacon. The HOTEL ROSENHOF is the place to stay when your business or leisure plans take you to the RAMSTEIN AB area.

This is one of the best hotels we've stayed at, in our trips through Europe. Rooms are in separate buildings scattered through the yard, surrounded by gardens and with plenty of parking. Large rooms, very clean, and close to the autobahn. We stayed here twice.

Very good service in the evening at the restaurant, delicious asparagus. The rooms are just enough for a night's stay, like in a motel. It’s a very pleasant step.

I paid for the room in the hotel by PayPal. And I arrived to the hotel at 22:00. But the angry and not very polite woman on reception said that they didn’t receive any payment, and, despite I showed her the e-mail and my booking app (where that was clearly stated that the room is fully paid), the property rejected to accommodate me. A guy from the customer service called the hotel and notified them that the room, indeed, is fully paid, but the reception woman still rejected to accommodate me. Then she asked me to leave the building, closed the hotel down and went home. So, I had fully paid for my stay, but was kicked out by the administrator of the hotel.

We stay here whenever we visit Ramstein or Landstuhl. Much cleaner and less expensive than on base!

The restaurant was fantastic!!!

The quality of the buffet was very mixed. Unfortunately, you couldn't try everything. At 7:30 p.m. everything was quickly cleared away. It was definitely not worth the 35 euros. Breakfast, at 18 euros, is also completely excessive, especially for children. And if you want to sleep with the window open at night, you can open the window, but that's it because of the motorway right next to it. The price-performance ratio is simply not right. I advise against visiting.

Something completely different. Cozy atmosphere but some rooms urgently need renovation as they smell a bit unpleasant. Unfortunately, the reception is not staffed 24 hours a day and the room service once a week seems a bit sparse

Food and hotel were amazing. I have stayed here and at places near by that are almost double the price. You get way more for your money here, the staff are super friendly, the food is amazing and the beds!!! The beds are some of the most comfortable that I have felt.

I stayed in one of the 1 bedroom apartments and it felt like home! I was in town for work and this place provided everything I needed for my 2 week stay. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Der Empfang im Hotel war sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Autobahn, was man in meinem Zimmer auch hören konnte. Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Möbel Nachttisch und Schrank müssten Mal erneuert werden. Genauso ist der Wasserdruck in der Dusche nicht ausreichend. Ich war zwei Nächte dort, hier hätte ich mir eine Reinigung des Zimmers nach der ersten Nacht gewünscht. Die vorhandene Klimaanlage habe ich nicht benötigt. Diese ist auch im Zimmerpreis nicht enthalten. Für den eher hohen Zimmerpreis hätte ich hier mehr erwartet. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Auch hier möchte ich mich bei der netten Bedienung bedanken. Bei Abreise gab es noch ein kleines Präsent. Das habe ich bisher noch nirgendwo erlebt. Vielen Dank dafür.

I came as a customer of the restaurant for a evening meal but I am disappointed 😞 The interior and the atmosphere are nice, but not so the food. I ordered a classic Vienna Schnitzel with Jager sauce on the side. The Jager sauce was made excellent but not the schnitzel. The schnitzel was so small, that I've even asked the waitress is that a children portion? She doesn't react even for what I've ask her. And also it wasn't cook nice, it was tough and tiny. I am sure that the schnitzel is not more than a 80 gram, which is some kind of joke. That was my first and the last time I visit Rosenhof restaurant in Landstuhl!

Alles wunderbar, freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer, beim Frühstück blieb kein Wunsch offen. Ich war geschäftlich eine Nacht da und kann es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Despite being located right off the highway (which is also a plus as it is right near the exit), the rooms are surprisingly quiet. Comfortable room, comfortable bed, and great water pressure in the shower. Have stayed here several times. Appreciated the goody bag too when I checked out!

Overall, the hotel was great. Location, access to the roadways, and dining were all easily accessible.

Abstand zur Autobahn ca. 50m. Es ist sehr laut. Zusätzlich direkt an der Einflug-abflugschneise des US Flugplatzes Ramstein. Offenes Fenster in der Nacht nicht denkbar. Zimmer ohne Fenster. Nur eine verglaste Türe, bei welcher der obere Teil augeklappt werden kann. Aus "Umweltgründen" werden die Zimmer nicht täglich gemacht. Nur dann, wenn man es explizit möchte. Zimmer sind in mehreren Bungalows. Das Haupthaus (Frühstück, Abendessen) ist nur über den Hof erreichbar. Restaurant ist geschmacklich gut, Preis allerdings recht hoch. Ein Einzelzimmer für 120 EUR ist ganz schön happig.

Waren dort sehr zufrieden. Toller Service und ganz liebes Personal. Unser Menü am Abend hat uns alle begeistert. Werden sicher wiederkommen. Elf Freundinnen aus Schwalbach.

Strange hotel, which had to pay daily for the air conditioning control (5€) and did not have a tv control. I do not recommend

We two ordered takeout dinners - the chicken was normal; however, the schnitzel was not very good. Schnitzel was really tough (almost damaged my retainer) and did not have the cream sauce and mushrooms as advertised. We ended up splitting the chicken into two servings. Cost was 1.5x what you would normally pay. If you like parboiled potatoes, this is the place to go.

Zum ersten Mal hier und mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal. Sehr freundliches Personal und Chefin. Top Service und das 4 Gänge Menü war der Hammer. Selten so gut gegessen. Ein Gruß an die Küche top Köchin. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Waren auf Geburtstag zum Essen eingeladen. Das Buffet war reichhaltig und sehr gut. Es gab Vorspeisen, Hauptspeisen und Desserts und alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und auf Zack. Wir waren im Innenhof des hotels, der gemütlich war und, trotz der Nähe zur Autobahn, relativ ruhig war. Toilettenanlagen waren gepflegt und sauber. Zu den Zimmern kann ich leider nichts sagen.

Wir kamen zu dritt zu dem Rosenhof,. Da wir schon eimal vor ca. 10 Jahren hier aßen hatten wir eine hohe Erwartungshaltung. Die Speisekarte und Angebote des Tages war sehr Schnitzellastig. Hier wurde wohl eine Anpassung auf die Kunden vorgenommen. Eine von früher gewohnte ausgewählte Varianz der Speiseangebote fehlte aber völlig akzeptabel. Der Service war sehr gut, aufmerksam, auf Zack, freundlich, keine Besprechung privater Probleme. Mega. Vorspeise Tomatensuppe. Perfekt, frisch , gut gewürzt, keine Fertig,Mischung, sehr gut. Gruß aus der Küche: frischer Quark, individuell gewürzt, am Sonntag frisches Brot, richtig gut, viel Mühe gegeben, mega! Hauptspeise Steak , Medium , perfekt. Hauptspeise 2x Wiener Kalb Schnitzel . Wenn man eine Schnitzel dominante Speisekarte hat sollte man Schnitzel gut können. Hingegen waren diese sehr dünn, in der Fritteuse gebraten und wenig gewürzt. Absolut trocken ohne Geschmack und das für einen Preis über 20€. Für ein Wiener Kalbsschnitzel und hochpreisig einfach nicht akzeptabel. Und völlig daneben, gruselig!!! Imbisswagen Qualität. Hauptspeise nicht genießbar. Richtig schlecht. Deshalb die reduzierten Punkte. Und ich denke, der Rosenhof bekommt es besser hin, da die anderen Gerichte richtig top waren. Höchste Qualität und Leistung. Das Scheinargument, dass manche Kunden sich an die Grotten schlechte Imbisswagen Qualität der frittierten Schnitzel gewöhnt hätten und dieses so wollten ist zu sagen, klar im Imbiss ok, aber nicht für mehr als 20€. Im Imbiss muß es schnell zu gehen, im Rosenhof will ich das Essen genießen. Die Bratkartoffeln waren wiederum frisch, in der Pfanne gebraten, Top.

Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, es gab für mich nichts zu bemängeln.

Wir waren mehrere Tage in der Stadt auf Geschäftsreise. An zwei Abenden haben wir der Einfachheit wegen im Restaurant gegessen. Das Angebot war gut, aber für die Gegend recht hochpreisig. Während wir am ersten Abend positiv überrascht waren und eine sehr leckere Ente aus der Tageskarte hatten. Wahr das Schnitzel am nächsten Abend zwar vom Kalb aber fest und labberig gebraten. Das Ambiente ist sehr auf die amerikanischen Gäste abgestimmt aber ok.

My wife and I took a 14 day vacation to Europe. After living in Germany for 7 years we were spoiled to Michelin Star experiences...: we ate at the Rosenhof and I ordered the Table-side Flambé Filet Mignon prepared by Raffaele. To say the experience was amazing is a gross misrepresentation. BAR NONE his preparation, presentation, story telling to capture the authenticity of the dish, and singing makes his dream of owning his own restaurant closer to reality. To miss this experience is truly your misfortune... don’t miss out. Especially his Crepe Suzette also prepared table-side. He is not a diamond in the rough, he is a diamond waiting for discovery. I was quite surprised by how good the food is here. They have specials every night as well as a full menu that features German and European cuisine. I really enjoyed my Schnitzel and ordered a side of red cabbage which was really good. Their Strudel is also amazing. All the staff are great, and very helpful.
