I would give it zero stars if I could! We are regulars, but today things really went too far… It's one thing that the waiters (men) get into fights in front of the guests in the summer, but what happened today is beyond words. As I said, my partner and I are regulars there, and today the place was packed. The bar was mostly full of drunk people. The fact that they were still serving alcohol was another issue, and music was blaring from every corner. We also didn't understand why they weren't having a private party. But let's get to the actual problem again: we are regulars, and my partner's food wasn't cooked through. He had a stuffed hamburger with feta cheese. He called the waiter over and explained the situation. The waiter offered to put it back on the grill, and my partner told the waiter that the cheese was leaking out and the meat would come back dry. The waiter assured him that this wouldn't be the case… but that's exactly what happened. The meat came back dry, and in the same breath as my partner said this, a drunk guest fell off the grill. The bar stool barely fit into our table... that was the end of the evening. We were already annoyed by the loud atmosphere and the bad food, and then the drunk guest was the final straw. My partner called the waiter over and told him we were only paying for the drinks, not the terrible food. The waiter then got his boss. We explained the situation calmly to the boss, who then came to us (regulars). "Fine, then I'm calling the police," he said. We immediately agreed. The boss and his waiter went into the kitchen and waited for the police to arrive, but they didn't. Instead, another waitress, with whom we had also discussed the situation, came. She knew us too. She cleared our table, went into the kitchen to the boss, and a few minutes later came back and told us we didn't have to pay anything. That's really no way to treat regular customers! It would have been reasonable if he had said it was okay, that things would be better next time, but that was the last time they'll see us! Oh, and perhaps as a reminder: Instead of pouring endless amounts of alcohol to guests sitting at the bar and only thinking about profits, it's absolutely depraved and morally reprehensible! The only right thing to do in that moment would be to refuse them alcohol and send them home or call a taxi!

We ate there this evening, and the food was very tasty and delicious, with large portions. The owner told us that they've had a new head chef for four months. The service was also very friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return to Orsoyer Hof next year!

A very bad hotel with dirty, outdated rooms! The internet is unreliable and the TV doesn't work. See for yourself in the pictures I've included. And on weekends, you definitely won't get any peace and quiet because either there are bowling clubs making excessive noise or some event going on until the early hours. The restaurant has also gone downhill significantly. All in all, not recommended!

We were here for the second time today. It's nice that there are two RV parking spaces in the free public parking lot, also free of charge. The food was again excellent, and the prices were really reasonable. The staff was friendly, as always.

Yesterday, Sunday, we had dinner at the Hotel Restaurant Orsoyer Hof with a reservation for four people at 2:00 p.m. We used the Schlemmerblock voucher book for 4:2. We were politely shown to our table, and our drinks orders were taken promptly. Our service was prompt. We then decided on main courses, as the voucher book suggested. When we asked if the daily special was valid for the voucher, we were very surprised that we could order that as well. We had a soup starter, a salmon starter, a schnitzel with a delicious white sauce and crab, served with croquettes. Dessert was a dream of pancakes with ice cream. (Please try it yourself.) Since two people couldn't manage these extremely generous portions, we packed them up and refrigerated them. We then went for a walk. When we picked up the leftovers, we received a friendly farewell. We would gladly return and can highly recommend the Orsoyer Hof.

Rooms need some maintenance but otherwise good hotel

We only visited the restaurant and always enjoy coming here. The food is always delicious, and the large veranda is lovely. There's great parking right across the street and you can also take a short walk along the Rhine.

Stay well clear of this restaurant! The food is a disaster, and so is the service.

For a 2-star hotel, it's really very nice. It's clean, nicely decorated, and the staff is super friendly. Breakfast in the morning costs €9... It's so plentiful that you can't eat it all. They even offer to refill your plate, which is probably not necessary given the selection. It's truly delicious. If you eat there in the evening, you're served politely and nicely, and the food is very, very plentiful, so much so that two of us shared a grilled plate. The day before, everyone ordered something, and we saw for the first time how generously the plates were filled. They explained to us that it's always like this; otherwise, they'd gladly give us a seniors' plate. That's always enough for us. It's always enough. And we arrived with two dogs. The dogs are truly welcome there, you can tell. They make an effort. We will definitely book a room there if we want to spend a few nice days. Thank you very much. We'll be back and would love to.

Unfortunately, we should have paid attention to the reviews. The welcome was very friendly, and even when we asked for a different room, it wasn't a problem. But both rooms were unclean and in dire need of renovation. Broken walls, consoles, and faucets. The mattress was completely stained; I slept on the blanket. We had to park our bikes in the courtyard among empty bottles, trash, broken kitchen appliances, and freezers. It smelled awful. The food wasn't great either. Unfortunately, the meat was very tough and the rice bland. So, we won't be coming back.

The staff is friendlier and more helpful. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing about this hotel. The rooms are run-down and extremely disgusting. The restaurant is also showing its age; the meat is extremely tough. I had a veal steak, which I unfortunately could only eat half of because the rest was riddled with tendons. I've never had anything as bad as this. The fried potatoes were dripping with fat, and my wife's pork kebabs were nothing special either.

We were there yesterday for the first and last time. The service was friendly. The food was inexpensive but unfortunately it tasted that way too. Asparagus schnitzel with four spears of very thick asparagus, which I thought were old. Very soft and grey/beige on the inside. Four croquettes had an excessive amount of cheese. The starter soup/soup of the day was supposed to be tomato soup, but you could only tell by the color, nothing else. The Arizona steak was a rather overcooked schnitzel. Very tough. The fried potatoes were very fatty. The roast pork was just fatty. There were three couples of us. We will definitely not eat here again. It's a shame and even the low price doesn't make it any better.

Despite a table reservation, the table was not set upon arrival. The table linens were not clean. We had to order more drinks at the bar ourselves. The food was plentiful; the fried potatoes were very greasy, and the appetizer salad was bitter. The location, view, and decor were lovely. We won't be visiting the restaurant again, though.

I've rarely eaten such a bad meal. The sirloin steak was over-grilled and could only be cut with a grinder. The fries were soggy. The salad tasted bitter. Even though it was sparsely populated, we had to wait quite a while for our drinks. They only arrived around the corner as we were about to pay. It's a real shame; they could have done better.

We ate there today and I regret to say: "We've never had such bad service there before, and the food wasn't just bad, it was inedible." I won't eat there again and certainly won't recommend it to anyone.

The food at the Orsoyer Hof restaurant was okay overall, but unfortunately, there were a few unpleasant experiences that marred the visit. We had vouchers that we placed on the table right at the beginning, but the waiter insisted they weren't valid and accused us of lying. There was also a party in the next room, and the music was so loud that it filled part of the restaurant, which also didn't exactly contribute to the pleasant atmosphere. What was particularly disappointing was that my grandmother, who is actually a regular customer at the Orsoyer Hof restaurant, was very disappointed with the service and atmosphere. She hadn't expected it. Overall, the visit was okay, but the quality of service and the volume could definitely have been better.

We ate at the restaurant. The view is beautiful, but we didn't think the food and service were that great. The fries weren't cooked well, the ham in the Cordon Bleu tasted strange, the spit roast was streaked with fat and tough, and the service was rather slow and rude. Overall, it was just OK. We wouldn't eat there again.

I can't say anything about the rooms, BUT the food is delicious! I ordered the fillet - medium. That's how it arrived. On a cast iron pan that was still hissing. I've never experienced anything like that. Top! And you can also enjoy the beer there. This variety isn't my favorite, but it tastes good too😁

My family has always enjoyed going there, they said great service, good food (especially value for money). Last time they weren't so happy with the service and atmosphere. The last two times I was there with other people, I didn't have any positive experiences. The tablecloths were dirty in several places, even though it wasn't full so there would have been time to clean the table. The first time I had pasta and everything was oversized: the onion was probably only cut in half once, and the pepper slices were also significantly larger than the spoon. At least the taste was okay. The second time I had a cheese that was more breading than cheese and since there was no bread left I got a slice of toast. It's nice that you get a salad as a starter (sometimes soup if there's any?), but a lot of things didn't seem so fresh anymore. My friend had a huge plate of different types of meat, he thought the portion was great. However, he also didn't like the ambience, especially the cleanliness. As a meat lover you can probably make a compromise. As a vegetarian, I have no incentive to visit this store again.

I'm torn! We were eating with 8 people and had reserved a table, which was also free because the restaurant was not well attended at the time. The (Indian?) waiter was very helpful, but we had to wait a long time for our drinks and ask several times and the timing was terrible. Ex. Ordered a cappuccino at 6:08 p.m Ordered starters and main course at 6:15 p.m 6.25 p.m. Free soup? We said we didn't want any because we had stomach surgery at the table, the boss wasn't interested and said, eat as much as you can. It's a shame about the soups being thrown away. 6:26 p.m. Cappuccino with cream?! 6:29 p.m. Starters Sorry, I didn't really feel like the main course after that. We then told the waiter that we would like to take a break. Then came the main course which, as described above, was ok apart from a few minor things. Of course there was also schnapps on the house. We will definitely give the restaurant another chance, but there definitely needs to be a little more service and quality.

We booked a table for Christmas Eve in August. We were seated in the hallway despite having spoken to the boss several times and no response that evening. It was a very uncomfortable place, we were 9 people so it wasn't comfortable at all. Some of the food wasn't satisfactory either. The steak with a lot of cartilage and tendons was actually inedible. The grill plate was also very tough meat and you couldn't eat it either. We didn't get any help either. So it was more like dissatisfied, we won't visit again.

The fact that I am giving 2 stars today has nothing to do with positive experiences in the past. So far we have always sat outside, drank delicious cold draft beer, eaten delicious cevapcici and were served there by a super nice, always in a good mood waitress. So this year we decided to go on a longer hike there with our dog in order to eat the roast goose advertised on the boards on the first holiday and reserved a table. When we arrived there full of anticipation, we sat down at the table, got our beer pretty quickly and since we were sitting right next to the bar we heard a regular customer say that he had been there for goose dinner the day before and it wasn't so good was - no crispy skin and otherwise not that good. He then had it packed up for the dog. We then decided to first share a portion of goose, which in turn caused the black-clad Indian (?) waiter to serve us very, very unfriendly. When the goose leg was on the table and we tried it, we were incredibly disappointed. The leg was hard, tough and the portion was fatty and completely mushy - inedible. We then shared the side dishes (1 half a pear, 1 dumpling and red cabbage) and were very happy not to have ordered 2 portions. We also told the waiter that the goose wasn't good at all, and the leg was almost complete, but he wasn't particularly interested in that. And he probably didn't pass on it since we paid full price. For the waiter and the goose I would give 0 points, but since we were often satisfied before, I give 2 points. We were so happy and if it were my restaurant (I'm also self-employed) I would have at least offered an unhappy guest a Julischka or something similar as goodwill. Now you're left with a very stale aftertaste.

Meat smells like burnt grill. Salad is made from raw vegetables, mushrooms and vegetables from the jar. It's amazing that people still serve something like that these days. Never again.

A very tasty restaurant in a pretty little part of town. Good for all layers. The menu is varied and should be enough for everyone. The food is fresh and delicious. Everyone gets fed up here. The service is friendly and on the ball. The toilets are clean and at ground level. In summer it's even better on the terrace. We had a lovely evening.

Went to the restaurant to eat today and were unfortunately disappointed. I had the pork fillet special, with fresh vegetables, which consisted of peppers, tomatoes, onions and green beans (unfortunately too firm for me), with hollandaise sauce and cheese gratin and fries. Unfortunately the fillet was also completely dry and tasted like burnt grill. my husband had the “funny bosniak”. Here too, unfortunately the meat was tough, very thin meat, which was English on one side and medium on the other. Both meat dishes were very bland and not very seasoned. the service was attentive and friendly On the toilet there is a rusty toilet lid and a super sticky floor. The view into the kitchen wasn't nice either.

We had a spontaneous meal here, with a voucher book / well received, positive for us at first!! The service is good, the drinks too... but the food was very poor quality. Funny Bosniak, meat very mixed and not edible at first because it was completely raw, after complaints it was fried again after about 20 minutes, a little better but the quality was not better because it was still mixed. The fries were good and the rice was very spongy. I would never serve the salad like that... there is no classic coleslaw, very large pieces in the salad, I find it very inappropriate, unappetizing!! Herb butter is very good and so is the wine. Conclusion... I have never eaten a worse fun boaniak and salad anywhere, unfortunately!!!

And a hidden place with amazing food, there's one person who speaks English so even easier my friend, go and have a menu of the day that includes everything even dessert. The hotel cannot be recommended!!! I've never seen rooms like this! Dirty, dingy rooms, and everything was very careless and some of the furniture was broken! Luckily we only had to stay one night! The only positive thing was that after our complaint the landlord only charged us a small amount for the overnight stay! Still, it's a shame that so little emphasis is placed on cleanliness and repairs here...! In any case, I would never pay €85-100 for one night here! I can't say anything about the food.

The Orsoyer Hof is a restaurant that is open continuously from midday. This means you can fortify yourself at any time of day after a hike or bike ride. The wooden furniture in front of the house is also beautiful. In warm weather you can sit in an idyllic and quiet place. Of course, the seats under the arcade are also very pleasant. The service was very nice and friendly.

Fleisch gänzlich ungewürzt. Bratkartoffeln, die nicht in der Pfanne waren. Und Champignons, die ihr MHD längst überschritten hatten. Das kann auch kein schattenspendender Baum und ein freundlicher Kellner wett machen. Keine Empfehlung.

The lady who served us was super friendly and attentive. She always had a smile on her face. My wife's food was good so far, but her and my fried potatoes didn't deserve the name. The fried potatoes were very fatty and had no roasted flavors and mostly no color. My fillet steak was supposed to be medium, but unfortunately it was well done. At the end, the great waitress served us each a Palacsinta, which we found very accommodating. We've been there x times and will go again, we just hope that the chef is a little more precise in the kitchen.

We have been eating at Orsoyer Hof with friends and family for many years. I've never been as disappointed as I am today. Salad partly black and not edible, steak cooked through even though it was ordered medium, side dishes didn't work at all, eaten by my wife and edible. Every chip shop is better than this restaurant. No longer recommended.
