All perfect best service ever! And a hidden place with amazing food, there's one person who speaks English so even easier my friend, go and have a menu of the day that includes everything even dessert. Hey, my beautiful people, how we all like it, good, nice and cheap, the best restaurant I have found in Orsoy, so make no mistake that they serve you well and the food is good.

The hotel cannot be recommended!!! I've never seen rooms like this! Dirty, dingy rooms, and everything was very careless and some of the furniture was broken! Luckily we only had to stay one night! The only positive thing was that after our complaint the landlord only charged us a small amount for the overnight stay! Still, it's a shame that so little emphasis is placed on cleanliness and repairs here...! In any case, I would never pay €85-100 for one night here! I can't say anything about the food.

We hadden slakken met knoflook boter besteld, maar daar kregen we ook nog gesmolten kaas bij zonden niet te eten. De wienerschnitzel was matig de salade was naar mijn mening een samenstelling uit de moestuin doos.

We were there 2 years ago where you could still eat a Jägerschnitzel, it was really great, but now that was the last time, it was a mess, it was swimming in oil 😖

My visit to this restaurant was exceptionally pleasant. The employees were extremely friendly, respectful and always with a smile on their faces. Your professionalism and kindness really made my visit special. Even though I don't speak German well, they made the effort to communicate with me in English. The beer was also excellent. This restaurant is one of the best places I can recommend😊

The Orsoyer Hof is a restaurant that is open continuously from midday. This means you can fortify yourself at any time of day after a hike or bike ride. The wooden furniture in front of the house is also beautiful. In warm weather you can sit in an idyllic and quiet place. Of course, the seats under the arcade are also very pleasant. The service was very nice and friendly.

Fleisch gänzlich ungewürzt. Bratkartoffeln, die nicht in der Pfanne waren. Und Champignons, die ihr MHD längst überschritten hatten. Das kann auch kein schattenspendender Baum und ein freundlicher Kellner wett machen. Keine Empfehlung.

Were here again for lunch. I think the portions have gotten even bigger. Below is a photo of the house skewer without any side dishes. Everything tasted great. You simply have to go here if you are near Orsoy.

The lady who served us was super friendly and attentive. She always had a smile on her face. My wife's food was good so far, but her and my fried potatoes didn't deserve the name. The fried potatoes were very fatty and had no roasted flavors and mostly no color. My fillet steak was supposed to be medium, but unfortunately it was well done. At the end, the great waitress served us each a Palacsinta, which we found very accommodating. We've been there x times and will go again, we just hope that the chef is a little more precise in the kitchen.

We have been eating at Orsoyer Hof with friends and family for many years. I've never been as disappointed as I am today. Salad partly black and not edible, steak cooked through even though it was ordered medium, side dishes didn't work at all, eaten by my wife and edible. Every chip shop is better than this restaurant. No longer recommended.

Our favorite restaurant for many years, the Hotel Restaurant Orsoyer Hof. We have never been disappointed, neither with the service nor with the food. On our last visit two days ago, we each ordered 2 grill plates and were very satisfied with the taste and richness. The starter soup and the salad were fresh and delicious. The waitress was friendly and asked if everything was OK. Top! You can sit very comfortably on the terrace and it has also been lovingly planted. We would love to come back from Duisburg. However, we didn't use the hotel, so I can't provide any information about it.

The food was very tasty and the quantity was very good. The price-performance ratio is therefore quite reasonable. The restaurant has a very cozy terrace with a great view. The service was also very friendly and accommodating, and I was even allowed to charge my cell phone. Highly recommended!

We would visit the restaurant again at any time, but probably not the hotel, at least not this room. But there are probably even nicer rooms.

The rooms left a dingy impression. Sockets half out of the wall. Bathroom showers under water after showering. Water was also leaking around the toilet. 2x TV defective. In the evening, Arabic wedding music on top. No breakfast buffet. Egg omelet was very greasy. There won't be a second time.

Hotel very shabby and just disgusting. Smoke detector is missing, walls are completely smeared with dirt, loose cables from the ceiling in the bathroom, toilet brush has been around for an estimated 30 years without being cleaned and so on.....

Es gibt Leute die über alles meckern sei es über zu viel Essen oder zu wenig Salz oder auch über fehlende Parkmöglichkeiten für Fahrräder. Ich finde das Restaurant sehr gut und das beste ist das hier fast keine GRÜNE verkehren. Fünf Sterne

We went to the restaurant for lunch and were very happy with everything. Everyone received a free soup as a starter, a salad and a delicious dessert. The main courses (T-bone steak, farmer's plate, roulades) were excellent, the service was very attentive. We really enjoyed the stay!

This is my third time there and I can only recommend the food. There is also a nice outdoor seating option. In the photo the menu is gutshernpfanne. (I'm not sure about the name anymore though. 😅😂) With three pork fillets, with vegetable fried potatoes and a fried egg.

On February 11th, 2024 there was an anti-right demonstration in front of the restaurant. The event that took place in this restaurant and which was demonstrated against was the general meeting of the Afd district association in Wesel. I would like to wish the owner that he has at least a German identity card so that he can keep his restaurant even after the AFD comes to power. But it shouldn't come to that.

We had lunch today with three women. The service was very nice, friendly and attentive. The selection of food is great. If you don't find anything here, don't look. We ate very tasty food. Thanks for the nice hours.

Unfortunately, the hotel welcomes right-wing political groups. Can't recommend a visit to anyone who doesn't want to go back to 1945.

The bad reviews due to the AfD events are fascist. I would never vote for the AfD. In a democracy you have to tolerate opinions and other world views. To compensate, a 5 star rating.

We ate there for the first time today. My husband ordered a steak and I ordered lamb chops. The food was served very quickly. There was even a delicious starter soup on the house. My husband and I really enjoyed it and would love to come back.

Yesterday we were at Orsoyer Hof for the first time. Yes, the ambience may be a bit outdated but it doesn't detract from the comfort. We sat at the front in the guest room, where we could also see and hear the guests of the hotel and the restaurant. Instead of the piped music played in other restaurants, good old rock music (AC/DC for example) was played here, which we were more than happy with. The waiter (I assume the boss) was extremely friendly and accommodating. We ordered a bottle of red wine and a bottle of water, which were served promptly. Then a greeting came from the kitchen (small fresh rolls with 3 different spreads) very, very tasty! We ordered 2 starters (baked sheep's cheese and snails), both of which came to the table quickly, hot and extremely tasty. Then a small salad plate for the main course. The main course consisted of a deluxe grill plate and a beef fillet Orsoy. My husband and I were more than thrilled with how well the meat was prepared. It was a dream of taste and so satisfying that next time we won't have a starter ;-) all the dishes were served quickly and hot. The service was more than friendly and we will 100% definitely come back to eat again. Thank you

The location is nice, the house looks well maintained from the outside. I don't want to go in because I don't agree with the views of the other old-fashioned guests who frequent there regularly. Not that I will be emigrated from the house by them.

Die Lage ist gut, vom Essen lässt sich dies leider nicht behaupten. Dazu die sehr lange Wartezeit. Das Schnitzel war nur zur Hälfte durchgegart. Aber trotzdem lässt man sich dort das Schnitzel nicht verbieten. Die Soße dazu war zwar mit frischen Pilzen, mir und meinen Freunden aber zu fad und optisch zu dunkelbraun.

Rot-Weiß von Aussen, braun von Innen. Auch wenn das schöne alte Gebäude wirken mag, als würde es auf eine Zeitreise einladen, wäre es sehr schön, wenn trotz dessen nicht immer wieder die Ewiggestrigen von der AfD, mit ihrem Kreisparteitag, dort bewirtschaftet würden, um ihre ganze eigene Zeitreise, zurück in dunkleste Zeiten, zu planen.

Ein Ort, der sich dazu entscheidet, der AfD einen Raum zu bieten, verliert jeglichen Geschmack und Anstand. Schlechter Geschmack auf dem Teller und in der Moral.

Ich könnte mich um schöne Dinge kümmern… doch bunt ist leider oft nur der Salat auf dem Teller, da regelmäßig die Türen für braun offen stehen.

Leider ist es ein Glücksspiel ob das Essen gut ist. Mal ist es klasse, mal riecht und schmeckt das Schnitzel nach Fisch, mal ist das Gehacktes nicht durchgebraten, das Rumpsteak sehnig und hart oder ähnliches - und beim nächsten Mal ist dann wieder alles absolut top. Leider werde ich deswegen jetzt nicht mehr hingehen, weil es beim letzten Mal wieder schlecht war. Das Ambiente ist sehr nett und das Personal immer sehr freundlich.

Wir hatten zu Weihnachten ein Gutscheinbuch geschenkt bekommen und wollten einen Gutschein davon einlösen. Vor dem Essen hatten wir dem Kellner mitgeteilt, dass wir einen Gutschein hätten, er meinte, das würde er nach dem Essen regeln. Als wir die Rechnung bezahlen wollten, teilte uns der Kellner mit, dass er den Gutschein nicht verbuchen könne, da der Chef nicht da sei und es daher technisch nicht möglich sei. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass dies vorgeschoben wurde, damit auch das günstigere Gericht voll abgerechnet werden konnte. Das Essen selbst war eher mäßig, der Service jedoch freundlich. Wir waren vor einigen Jahren schon einmal dort und wurden ebenfalls enttäuscht. Wir werden dort nicht mehr essen gehen.

Wir hatten dort unser Weihnachtsessen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, hatten einen separaten Raum für uns, wurden schnell und gut bedient, das Essen ist günstig und sehr lecker. Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden.

Wir sind da zum Mittagessen gewesen, es war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Bedienung freundlich und kompetent, das Essen war schnell da und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Danke nochmals, wir kommen gerne wieder. 😊

Habe leider nur sehr gut gegessen. 👍. An den Zimmern hatte ich kein Interesse.

Mittagessen mit meiner Schwester. Ich habe ein Schnitzel mit Pilzen bestellt. Eine Leckere Soße und viele verschiedene Pilze in der Soße. Es waren 2 Schnitzel auf den Teller. Wären die Schnitzel nicht mit der Soße belegt gewesen, hätte ich 1 Schnitzel mit nach Hause genommen. Viel Pommes und auch ein leckerer Salat kamen auf dem Tisch. Eine Suppe wurde auch noch gereicht. Nachtisch nicht. Brauchten wir auch nicht. Portion etwas kleiner, und etwas mit dem Preis runter, wären echt super gewesen. Aber, auch so waren Preis und Leistung okay. Wir sind nicht oft da, und nur einmal nicht zufrieden. Immer eine zweite Chance geben. Auch der Service war super. Nächstes Mal wieder gerne.

Wenn man das Restaurant betritt können schon erste Eindrücke gewonnen werden: Rustikal und alt plus negative Atmosphäre durch Spielautomaten Die Bedienung kam schnell an unseren Tisch und nahm Getränke auf. Hier ist soweit alles ok. Die Bestellung der Speisen erfolgte auch zeitnah. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich .Verwunderlich war ich nur, das unser Essen so schnell auf den Tisch stand. Und hier muss ich einfach sagen: viel Masse statt Klasse Und wenn wir dann für 2 Personen mit Getränke 75€ ausgeben ohne Vorspeise und ohne Nachspeise 🤷‍♀️bin ich doch verärgert ….Und die Toiletten kann ich auch nur ungenügend bewerten,

wir waren heute dort essen.Mit einem Gutscheinbuch bei dem das günstigste Essen graties ist.Wir waren auf Grund einiger negativen Rezesionen gespannt was uns erwartet.Die Bedienung war freundlich und echt auf zack. Aus der Vergangenheit haben wir die Erfahrung gemacht , dass die Portionen bei Vorlage des Gutscheinbuches kleiner ausfallen. Das war ganz und gar nicht der Fall meinen Freundin hat von 4 großen Stücken Fleisch sich zwei einpacken lassen , weil nicht zu schaffen war.Also das Essen war top.Das Ambiente ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber absolut in Otdung.Das einzige was uns aufgefallen ist war das am Nachbartisch ein größeres Loch in der Tischdecke war.Das hätte man zur Wand hin auflegen können.Aber wo kein Kläger da kein Richter.Wir waren sehr zu Frieden und kommen bestimmt mal wieder.Danke

Ich habe nur das Restaurant kennengelernt. Das Essen war ok, aber lieblos von Geschmack und anrichte.

Unser absolutes Lieblings-Restaurant seit vielen Jahren! Wer gute Steaks vom Holzkohlegrill zu schätzen weiß, ebenso wie gute Balkan-Küche, der ist hier genau richtig. Dazu ein chices Ambiente mit gemütlich-familiärer Atmosphäre, unglaublich flinkem und netten Personal, einem netten Chef, einer großen Speisekarte, die neben besagten Gerichten aber auch immer noch einiges andere zu bieten hat, jeden Tag besondere Angebote - ob Wild, Gans, Rouladen (jammi), Tomahawk-Steak, Fischteller (immer auf den Punkt, nie zu trocken, sehr zu empfehlen) und vieles mehr. Tipp: Zum Nachtisch unbedingt den Palatschinken probieren...Auch getränkemäßig ist die Auswahl groß und günstig. Die Portionen sind alles andere als geizig, die Preise günstig. Eine gemütliche Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick und Überdachung ist in der warmen Jahreszeit verfügbar. Die Räumlichkeiten sind groß und auch toll zum Feiern geeignet. Auch eine Kegelbahn ist vorhanden, selten geworden in der heutigen Zeit. An Parkplätzen mangelt es nicht. Danach lädt die Umgebung zu einem Verdauungsspaziergang am Rhein oder in Orsoy selber ein. Neben gutem Essen sind auch Hotelzimmer vorhanden.

Had a nice experience at this restaurant on my first night in Orsoy. Had a table on the outdoor terrace - with the geraniums blooming, it was picturesque. The food was good, not fancy, but there was plenty of it and it tasted good - bread, salad, fries and Schnitzel - for a very reasonable price. I ended up bringing most of the Schnitzel and fries to my hotel and eating it for another meal. It was really enough for two. The server was friendly and very polite - more than I've had in recent times, especially at a more casual restaurant like this. I went back on the last night of my stay with a friend, can't remember what I had - maybe a salad and some pasta? Once again, tasted good and reasonably priced.

Das Essen war gut. Der Service unterirdisch. Es dauerte lange, bis dee Keller kam, bzw es dauerte allgemein lange, bis man ihn überhaupt sah.. Für Bestellungen wie beispielsweise ein neues Getränk oder Dessert mussten wir lange warten. Man muss dazu sagen, dass es voll war, trotzdem ist sowas ärgerlich.

Bestes Restaurant in Rheinberg… einfach nur Urlaubsfeeling auf der Terrasse :) Das Plescavica (gefülltes Hacksteak) ist besser als in Kroatien!! Kellner super freundlich und aufmerksam :) Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!!

Eines der wenigen Restaurants am Niederrhein, in den man mittags in der Woche einkehren kann. Der Service wirkte etwa überfordert aber freundlich. Die Vorsuppe, eine Tomatensuppe, war frisch und lecker, die Fleischgerichte durch die Bank deutlich zu groß, sodass wir alle leider Reste stehen ließen. Die Mitnahme der Reste wurde aber offensiv angeboten. Bratkartoffeln misslungen, fettig und nicht kross. Püree, wie auch alle anderen Speisen, offenbar selbst gemacht. Was dem Restaurant fehlt, sind Abstellplätze für die Räder der vielen Radfahrer, die gerne einkehren.

Wir waren auf einer Fahrradtour für eine Nacht dort. Die Leute waren sehr nett, aber das Essen nur mittelmäßig und das Zimmer schlecht.

Wir waren nach langer Zeit wieder dort und waren sehr enttäuscht.Das Essen lauwarm.....nicht wirklich gewürzt.....das Fleisch nur von einer Seite gebraten.....nur der Service ging so lala.Ach ja.....es kam erst Salat,der zum Hauptgang gehört,dann die Suppe.Für uns war es leider das letzte mal.Schade!!!

Wir waren heute zum zweiten Mal im Orsoyer Hof essen. Das erste Mal war in Ordnung. Heute war leider der Wurm drin. Service brauchte sehr lange um Getränke aufzunehmen. Es wurde im späteren Verlauf auch nicht mehr gefragt. Das Menü bestehend aus Tagessuppe, Lachsvorspeise, Luxusschnitzel und Palatschinken,kam wiefolgt: Keine Tagessuppe Vorspeise war etwas Lachs und ansonsten Forelle, Muscheln. Das Luxusschnitzel war gut und reichhaltig. Der Palatschinken kam auch nicht an. Die Kasse scheint ausgefallen zu sein, so dass die Abrechnungen sehr lange brauchen. Wir hatten vorab einen Gutschein abgegeben, diese Kellnerin hat aber schon Feierabend und die Info wohl nicht weitergegeben. Der Kellner der noch im Dienst ist, gibt sein Bestes.

Gute Hausmannskost zu angemessene Preisen. Service sehr aufmerksam und super freundlich.
