Hotel-Restaurant Goldene Krone in Goslar

I highly recommend this small hotel. The hotel is very centrally located, five minutes from the city center. Free parking is available behind the building. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, the hosts are very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast is plentiful and beautifully presented. You can tell that the people here still enjoy working there. We'd love to come back.

I highly recommend this hotel; it's very central, right in the center of town yet quiet, with plenty of parking. Clean and comfortable rooms, a delicious and varied breakfast. The gentleman at the reception desk was witty, charming, and cheerful. All the staff were very polite and friendly.

Nice little hotel. The facilities are good, the cleanliness is good. The breakfast is absolutely sufficient and good. Unfortunately, there are a few parking spaces and the reception is not staffed for long (I think there is a lack of staff). For travelers who are still working on the day of arrival, it is a little difficult to get the key.

Super comfortable bed and breakfast was good too

The perfect stay for a city trip. The hotel is in the old town and is ideal for exploring Goslar. The rooms are relatively large and very well furnished. The bathroom is modern and very clean. The rooms facing the courtyard are very quiet despite the city center location. In my opinion, the service is particularly noteworthy. A well-stocked breakfast buffet with products from the region makes a really good impression and offers something for everyone. As a special service, each guest was asked about their specific egg requests. These were then freshly prepared! It's also nice to have the opportunity to spend the evening in the rooms of the former restaurant, have something to drink (from the fridge or bring your own) and play a game of billiards (free of charge!). And of course there is the always approachable and helpful owner, who makes the stay even more pleasant. The price is very reasonable (including breakfast and parking). All in all - highly recommended.

Beautiful historic buildings. A very good address for a few days. Breakfast perfect. The landlord was able to find us a room and we were there at short notice.

Super nice, authentic little hotel in a best location! Very nice rooms, kettle, tea and coffee in the room, and a small fridge. Parking available, comfortable and covered smoking lounge at the back entrance. Great breakfast with everything your heart desires, everything is replenished super quickly, so that nothing to be desired is left unfulfilled. Very nice and motivated staff, check-in and check-out were super uncomplicated and an unbeatable price/performance ratio for the top location. We had a double room with two single beds for a weekend with friends. The mattresses look comfortable, not saggy in the least, two pillows so that both flat and high sleepers can lie comfortably. All in all, really great! If we come to Goslar again, we will definitely go back to the golden crown! 👍🏼

On the way to the Markt in a few minutes on foot. At the reception they provide a booklet of discounts in shops and various venues. With the tourist tax you can use public transport for free. Good breakfast.

We accidentally booked a room with separated beds. They gave us a different room on request . It was clean and we enjoyed a nice breakfast

Hotel Garni, good rooms, tea, coffee and kettle in the room and with a small fridge. Quiet, although close to the city center. Lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast is good! There is a lounge where you can sit together in the evening.

This was a very nice hotel, a short 5 minute walk from the Christmas markets and town square. The room, a single, was very cozy and comfortable. Sometimes single rooms have the feel of prison cells, but this one was great! It had a comfy bed, with great pillows. There was also a couch, which I really enjoyed. The shower had never-ending hot water. There were also lots of little touches that made a big difference - a throw to keep warm, a kettle with tea and coffee, a window with a view of the street outside. Also, the breakfast was really nice and the coffee machine made delicious coffee. I was an annoying tourist who didn’t speak the language, but the man at reception thankfully spoke English and the woman at breakfast used her phone to translate so that I could order some eggs. Very kind of them! A tip if you’re using a third party website (rhymes with encyclopedia) - they may not pass along the hotel’s check in instructions to you and you may get stuck outside, wondering how to get in the hotel. In my case, we resolved it in ten minutes, and this was not the hotel’s fault. If you don’t hear from the hotel, probably best to email them directly for instructions. I would definitely stay here again.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen in 3 Doppelzimmer für 2 Nächte da. Wir können nur sagen das alles bestens war. Super freundliches Personal und ein Frühstück was keine Wünsche offen lässt. Auch Nachts ist es möglich bei offenen Fenster zu schlafen da die Lage sehr ruhig ist. Kommen gerne wieder. Weiter so !!!!!!!!

Wir waren im November 2023 im Hotel Goldene Krone in Goslar. Man hat uns freundlich empfangen und uns gleich ein paar Informationen an die Hand gegeben. Das Zimmer war relativ klein aber das war OK. Es war sauber und modern eingerichtet, hatte einen TV, einen Wasserkocher inkl. Kaffee und Tee und einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Das Bad war auch sauber, allerdings war es nicht so modern wie das Zimmer und vermittelte leider den Eindruck das es schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die Lage das Hotels ist gut, in ca. 10 min. erreicht man den Marktplatz und die Altstadt. Es gab kostenfreie Parkplätze direkt am Hotel was wir als sehr angenehm empfunden haben. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es lagen reichlich kostenfreie Informationen über Goslar und die Umgebung aus. Im Flur stand ein Kühlschrank gefühlt mit Getränken und Süßigkeiten, die Bezahlung erfolgte über eine Vertrauenskasse. Die Preise für die Getränke und Süßigkeiten waren absolut fair. Das Frühstück (7.00 bis 10.00 Uhr) war sehr gut, eine reichliche Auswahl an Wurst, Käse, Marmeladen, Honig, Joghurt, Müsli, Eierspeisen und vielen anderen Dingen. Als Getränke gab es Kaffee, Cappuccino, Säfte, Wasser und Sekt. Unser Fazit: Freundliche Menschen, gutes Zimmer, gute Lage und sehr gutes Frühstück. Klare 5 Sterne und eine absolute Empfehlung. Schönes Hotel, altes Haus mit modernem Komfort. Aufmerksames und Freundliches Personal.

Als langjährige regelmäßige Goslar-Besucherin habe ich inzwischen einen Großteil der Goslarer Hotels und Pensionen kennengelernt. In der Goldenen Krone war ich gerade zum ersten Mal und ich muss sagen, dieses Hotel ist bei meinem persönlichen Ranking sehr weit nach oben geklettert! Ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, ansprechende Zimmer, freundliche Mitarbeiter, ein sehr leckeres Frühstücksbuffet - aber die "goldene Krone" gebührt zweifellos dem Inhaber. Freundlich, hilfsbereit, offen für Sonderwünsche - genau so sollte ein Hotel geleitet werden. Beim nächsten Besuch in Goslar wird es definitiv wieder die Goldene Krone 👑

Schönes, historisches Hotel in super Lage...Chef sehr nett und zuvorkommend...Zimmer einfach, aber sauber und ausreichend. Beim Frühstück fehlt es an nichts...mega Saft aus der Region...

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen und sehr gemütlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, es gibt einen kleinen Kühlschrank, einen Wasserkocher mit Tee und Kaffeetütchen und eine kleine Flasche Wasser zur Begrüßung. Das Frühstück war gut, wie man es auch erwartet. Lecker fand ich die Säfte aus der Region. Im Hotel kann man gut in der Lobby sitzen und ein Billiardraum gibt es auch. Der Chef und das Personal sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Allerdings ein kleiner Wehmutstropfen . Unsere Bekannten mussten durch Erkrankung einen Tag früher abreisen, also eine Übernachtung mit 2x Frühstück weniger. Sie hätten sich etwas Kulanz gewünscht oder einfach eine Kleinigkeit z.B eine Flasche Wein als nette Geste.

Schönes altes Haus im Zentrum der wunderbaren Altstadt. Hervorzuheben sind das gute Frühstück, die Sauberkeit, die Möglichkeit zu parken. Checkin und -out völlig unkompliziert. Einrichtung der Zimmer traf nicht unseren Geschmack, aber komfortabel war es und wirklich empfehlenswert!

Hotel Goldene Krone in der Historischen Altstadt von Goslar. Ein schönes kleines Hotel 🛌 mit gutem Service und einem super freundlich und herzlichen Inhaber. Er hat immer ein freundliches Wort und ist stets auf das Wohl seiner Gäste bedacht, vien Dank auch dafür. Die Zimmer und Betten 🛏 sind gut und sauber. Ein gutes Frühstücks Buffet mit großer Auswahl steht zwischen 7⃣ und 7⃣. 3⃣ 0⃣ Uhr zur Verfügung. Wenn etwas ausgeht wird es schnell nachgereicht. Und der Besitzer geht von Tisch zu Tisch und erkundigt sich ob alles okay ist oder noch etwas fehlen würde. Wir haben uns rund um sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern einmal wieder 👍. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Ein wirklich schönes, kleines und charmantes Hotel in bester Lage mitten in Goslar. Sehr gemütliche kleine Zimmer, in denen es an nichts fehlt. Parkplätze stehen hinterm Haus zur Verfügung. Das Frühstück lässt nichts vermissen. Eine große Auswahl, frisch zubereitet - hier wird jeder fündig. Das Highlight ist der super freundliche Service im gesamten Haus. Ein besonderes Lob geht an die super freundliche Mitarbeiterin beim Frühstück. Man fühlt sich jederzeit wohl und rundum gut aufgehoben. Super fanden wir auch den Kühlschrank des Vertrauens, der 24 Stunden zur Verfügung stand und ein kleines Spielzimmer mit Billard, Büchern und Spielen. Wir fuhren erholt und vollkommen zufrieden wieder zurück- in Vorfreude auf das nächste Mal. Klare Weiterempfehlung!
