This hotel has a great location. Easy walk into the old part of the city with all its restaurants and shops, and from there up to the castle. The room was clean with useful features and an updated bathroom. The bedding was high quality and fresh. We especially appreciated the option to park our car in the underground parking garage for a modest fee. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of fresh and interesting options and excellent coffee. All the staff with whom we interacted were friendly and helpful. Very pleased.

Very disappointing. Paid 144€ for a night (with breakfast), but the price is definitely not worth it. Tight room and bathroom. VERY uncomfortable and unpractical car garage. Hotel is pretty old too. Wifi did not reach my room.

It was just a stopover and we only stayed there overnight. However, all the service staff were very nice and helpful. The location is great.

The three stars for the room are only for the “still” unrenovated room. Everything else deserves full marks: cleanliness, service, breakfast buffet, value for money, everything to our complete satisfaction. Gladly again at any time.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 days on business. The breakfast was rich and there was good follow-up. The beds are very comfortable and you can also have peace and quiet on the street because of the good windows. The team at the reception is in a good mood and doesn't mind if you sit in the lobby in the evening. The restaurant wasn't open so I can't say anything about it.

Everything wonderful- such an elegant experience- please stay here if you are weary of staying at cookie cutter corporate hotels. Every single employee was courteous, welcoming, and kind! Such a pleasure to stay here! It was like going back in time to experience authentic courtesy!

The hotel looks a bit tired from the outside, but the rooms and breakfast room are new and very nice! The service is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is second to none, very rich! The garage is not suitable for larger cars as it has special individual grates for each vehicle. These can be lifted during floods. We were there on business and were also able to enjoy the old town because the hotel is centrally located. We'd love to come back.

Hotel is located in the middle of a one-way street in a run-down area. Everything seems old and worn out. Parking spaces poorly signposted and difficult to navigate.

The hotel is great, staff friendly, breakfast OK, only parking by car takes some getting used to, electric cars park outside, that's ok, there are enough parking spaces but you can drive in the underground car park if it's not smart Problems getting into the designated parking spaces

Beautiful hotel in the city center with remarkably attentive service at reception. Newly renovated room with a large courtyard balcony that is also suitable for wheelchair users. Unfortunately, the wheelchair cannot access the side of the bed, which is difficult for a wheelchair user. The bathroom works with a wheelchair but is also relatively narrow, the toilet has grab bars on both sides, and there is a wall seat in the shower, but there are no grab bars. It was the first hotel where we had to pay for parking despite having a blue disabled parking permit. At €7.50 for the night, it adds up to a lot. It's also a shame that the hotel is only wheelchair accessible from the inner courtyard, as the main entrance has several steps. The breakfast buffet is rich, there is everything your heart and stomach desires. It's also great that there are some regional sausage specialties. The staff is trained and friendly. Despite the not exactly cheap price, we can recommend the hotel.

Nice, comfortable and central stay if you just visit your child at the place of study Room renovated, modern and comfortable, extra large shower, nice balcony quiet at the back of the house. The breakfast was varied and of good quality. Staff very friendly and always helpful. The garage, with an elevator for cars (!), was not for the faint of heart. The entrance area, at a very narrow right angle, requires a guide, even for experienced drivers.

A very nice hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and you can tell they enjoy their work. We felt very comfortable and the many little niceties sweetened our stay. The breakfast was extremely varied and delicious, great bread and everything was of very high quality. Everything very clean and tidy.

Always worth a trip to Marbach if you want to enjoy the charm of the 70s.

We had booked a room for one night as a stopover and were pleasantly surprised by the modern, beautiful room, which you wouldn't expect behind the inconspicuous facade. The service was very good, the breakfast was rich and tasty. The only drawback was the adventurous parking spaces in the underground car park, but that was really bearable. Conclusion: We felt very comfortable and would like to come back.

The location is good...from the hotel you can go to the castle and the upper and lower towns...the Elisabeth Church is on the doorstep The breakfast is good and the staff is very nice. The negative thing is the noise that comes into the room through the door and parking in the 1950's parking garage is a challenge

A very nice hotel in the center of Marburg. The rooms are very nicely furnished and leave nothing to be desired. The breakfast buffet is very busy, but it was always refilled and had a good selection of dishes to offer. The restaurant in the entrance area is highly recommended and offers Spanish cuisine. Really a very nice overall package.

Very friendly hotel. Our Comfort Plus room was very spacious and practically equipped. Bed very comfortable. Quiet location at the back. Motorcycle parked safely in the courtyard. Very nice staff in all areas. Breakfast appetizing and without plastic. We would love to come back again.

Pleasant hotel with very good service

The hotel is perfectly located, just a few minutes' walk from the train station and in the immediate vicinity of the Elisabeth Church. We booked three standard rooms plus with our group. We immediately felt at home in the newly renovated, very clean rooms. The entire staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. We were very happy about the six hotel bikes - not e-bikes, but well maintained - as they are available to guests for free. The hotel is absolutely recommended.

A very charming older hotel with very comfortable beds. The location is TOP...the Elisabeth Church and the beautiful old town are just a few meters away. Great hiking trails around Marburg with great views, among other things. The beautiful botanical garden is also within walking distance. The breakfast buffet is absolutely great with cold cuts from the region and a great coffee machine, filter coffee is also available if you prefer it. The staff is very nice and friendly. A great tea bar can be used at any time!

The Marburger Hof is a very nice, well-kept hotel. Staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast is almost perfect, the furnishings are pleasing, close to the Elisabeth Church and in the evening there was a good night story ready - Grimm's fairy tales

The room was old and quite dark, but clean. Were in the next building, it was a short walk to the breakfast room. Super great breakfast buffet. Small surprise if you don't want your room cleaned every day.

We stayed at the Marburger Hof for two nights and were very satisfied. The room was comfortable and located at the back with a balcony. We also really liked the spacious bathroom with a large shower and very clean. The breakfast buffet is very rich and well stocked, there is something for every taste. The breakfast room is very comfortably furnished. All the staff we dealt with were extremely friendly and helpful. We parked on the parking deck, where we could go with the car an elevator. If we come to Marburg again, we will be happy to live there again.

The Hotel Marburger Hof is a historic house that has been modernly restored. It invites you to linger in a hospitable manner and impresses with very nice rooms and a very good breakfast. The location in the “lower town” is perfect because here you can park on the hotel's own property and store your bikes. From here you can climb the steep path to the top, but you don't have to. The staff is consistently very hospitable and very accommodating. We felt very comfortable here and can really recommend it! The hotel tip for the Lahn cycle path with a planetary nature trail was great and worked perfectly with the directions from reception! I think the good weather also helped the hotel for us! Thank you very much!

Centrally located in the lower town. Great retro room from the 1970s. We felt like we had been transported back decades and felt very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is to die for. In the surrounding area there are beautiful paths in the city area, but also in the countryside.

Overall we had a nice stay at the hotel. The rooms, which have not yet been renovated, are of course getting old and I would recommend not booking a room facing the street, as it is very noisy at night (student city!) But it is centrally located. The breakfast buffet is very rich and waste-free. The personnel is very friendly and courteous!

The rooms are very nice, quiet and very clean. You will be welcomed in a friendly manner and you will immediately feel at home. Only the location is not very inviting from the outside. But you shouldn't let that stop you, it's worth coming here. We'll definitely be back.

Im Hotel integriert ist ein Spanisches Restaurant,da hätte ich mich so drauf gefreut,aber,Sonntags Ruhetag,und wir waren nur für eine Nacht dort.Trotz direkter Lage im Zentrum war hier absolute Ruhe. Zum Personal,mit denen wir zu tun hatten,waren kompetent und freundlich!

Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Freundlichkeit des Rezeptionspersonals - sie waren stets hilfsbereit und sorgten dafür, dass ich mich wie zu Hause fühlte. Die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotel war bemerkenswert und die Betten waren äußerst gemütlich, was zu einem erholsamen Schlaf beitrug. Ein weiterer Höhepunkt waren die liebevollen Kleinigkeiten, die das Hotel bot, und die Aufmerksamkeit zum Detail, die meinen Aufenthalt wirklich unvergesslich machten. Ich kann das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich bereits auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

Grundsätzlich war alles bestens, Zimmer war ein wenig altbacken aber alles war sauber. Frühstück war super und selbst die Brötchen waren lecker. Lediglich die Parkplätze in der TG ist schon ziemlich klein.

Hotel mit klassischem Charme und hervorragendem Service. Kleinigkeiten wie eine Teestation in der Lobby und Mineralwasser auf dem Zimmer machen den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer. Waschbecken und Dusche könnten einmal renoviert werden, funktionieren aber problemlos. Das WLAN ist gut. Die Matratze ist etwas weich, aber noch ok. Das Frühstücksangebot entspricht dem Standard, insbesondere beim Müsli könnte man aber mehr Auswahl erwarten (Wahlnüsse zB oder andere Flocken). Sehr gutes Vollkornbrot und auch der Kaffee Creme ragt heraus. Das Frühstück ist kreativ aufbereitet, mit technischen Spielereien wie Pancake- und Joghurtautomaten, bis hin zu einem Roboter der Tabletts einsammelt. In dieser Hinsicht alles andere als einfallslos. Insgesamt für mich ein hervorragendes Hotel, auch wenn es einige Kleinigkeiten gibt, die man leicht verbessern könnte. Ich würde hier definitiv wieder übernachten.

Auf dem weg zur elisabethkirche, zentrumsnah, sehr nette Betreiber. Zimmer sind top, sehr geräumig. Tv an der Wand wäre idealer als auf einem Beistelltisch und die öffnungszeiten des Restaurants wären bei Buchung interessant gewesen- hätten gerne im hotel noch zusammen gesessen- leider keine Möglichkeit außer im Rezeptionsbereich- deshalb keine 5 Sterne von uns. Dafür ein top Frühstücksbuffet inklusive Roboter mit geburtstagsständchen und viel interessanter Technik...

Wir hatten 2 tolle Nächte im Hotel Marburger Hof. Direkt bei Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüßt und die Parkmöglichkeit wurde ausgiebig erklärt. Achtung: hier sollte das Auto nicht zu groß sein. Der Parkplatz ist sehr eng und teilweise nur über einen Aufzug befahrbar. Das Zimmer war alt, aber absolut ausreichend. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Auch die Ausrichtung zu Straße am Wochenende absolut kein Problem. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Auch Speiseangebote abseits vom Standard werden hier morgendliche geboten. Die Lage ist war perfekt für uns. Der Weihnachtsmarkt direkt vor der Tür und lediglich 10 Minuten zufuß in die Oberstadt. Wir können das Hotel weiterempfehlen ☺️

Love this old world charm hotel. It’s situated right outside the center of the town. Here on business and the hotel has all the modern updates for this old building. There is no gym which is a bummer for me so I just jogged around town. There is a restaurant and bar which is wonderful to sit and have a drink. Haven’t eaten there yet. The staff is absolutely attentive and accommodating. Location for the hotel is great being on the main road. Not sure how many rooms they have but it’s big enough to maybe accommodate a small family reunion but if there were a convention or event going on it’s small. The hotel is beautiful throughout. Rooms are so modern and the bed is so comfortable!!! Bathroom is beautiful and cleaned well. There is a small fridge and a safe for personal belongings. Prices are reasonable for nightly stays. Cleaning staff is so adorable. I put out the linen bag to notify them that we won’t need cleaning. So they put a bag of gummy snacks and a scented candle for us. That’s different and so cute. Love it. Front desk staff is super wonderful and efficient. Overall I’m really impressed and I enjoyed our stay here. Definitely will recommend this hotel and come here again if we come back to Germany.

Sehr schönes Hotel, super gelegen in Marburg, alles ist zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Sehr freundlicher Empfang und unkomplizierter check in. Unser Zimmer war neu renoviert und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit super Ausstattung, es wurde an alles gedacht. Auch der Frühstücksraum ist wunderschön und das Frühstück mega lecker. Auch die Parkplätze sind mit 7 Euro pro Nacht gut. Dieses Hotel ist wirklich empfehlenswert.

Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, der Service freundlich, manchmal etwas unbeholfen. Das Restaurant haben wir auf Grund der schlechten Rezensionen nicht besucht. Frühstück okay, nichts wildes, Standard.

Eigentlich hatte ich doch etwas mehr erwartet, aber letztendlich hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Unser Komfort Zimmer lag auf der Rückseite und dadurch sehr ruhig Auf der Vorderseite würde ich kein Zimmer nehmen wollen,da es mir einfach zu laut ist am Wochenende. Das Zimmer an sich war zwar klein,das Badezimmer auch, aber alles sehr sauber Die Betten waren auch nicht zu weich oder auch zu hart mit guten und Kissen Das Frühstück wie auch der Frühstücksraum sind sehr gut Es gibt reichlich Auswahl an Wurst, Käse, Würstchen, Rührei etc. Ganz besonders möchte ich aber das Personal hervorheben Ob Rezeption, Nachtportier, Personal beim Frühstück oder Zimmermädchen. Alle sind hilfbereit und zuvorkommend, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Ganz großes Lob an alle Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder Bis bald und Grüße

Das Hotel liegt prima zum Erkunden der Stadt. Ich hatte ein modern ausgestattetes Zimmer und habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Gegen das Regenwetter hatte die Rezeption Leihregenschirme.

Marburger Hof - Tolles Hotel mitten in der Stadt. Alle Servicekräfte waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sehr gut ausgestattet und in sehr gutem Zustand. Da ich leider nur eine Übernachtung gebucht hatte, konnte ich nicht alle Annehmlichkeiten des Hotels nutzen. Betonen muss ich aber, dass das Frühstücksbuffet keinen Wunsch offen ließ und ausgezeichnet gemundet hat. Preis-/Leistung stimmt und das Hotel ist unbedingt zu empfehlen.

De naam van het restaurant is Domingo’s en maakt deel uit van de Marburger Hof. Keurig ingericht restaurant. Overzichtelijke menukaart met Spaanse en Duitse gerechten. Alles vers en van hoge kwaliteit. Deels wordt het gerecht aan tafel bereid. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Zeer goede prijs kwaliteitverhouding. Een aanrader.

Gute Lage zur Altstadt. Zimmer nach hinten raus sind auch sehr ruhig, man hört nur die Gäste die ihr Auto parken und aus- bzw. Einladen. Die Matratzen sind sehr gut. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte hervorragend. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr lecker. Und Daniel an der Rezeption ist uns als sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Mitarbeiter in Erinnerung geblieben.

We ate here because we were staying in the hotel. Timing was not great due to re-opening after Coronavirus. However, staff were very friendly and helpful, food was very good (and a good range of choice) and good value. If I stayed in the hotel again, I would eat here again.

Wir waren auf Stadtbesuch in Marburg und suchten ein Hotel mit guter Stadtlage. Das war damit erfüllt. Schon der Check in war sehr freundlich. Man merkt immer wieder, wenn man in ein Familiär geführtes Hotel kommt. Ist ein Unterschied zu den Kettenhotels! Wir hatten ein tolles, frisch renoviertes Zimmer (310) mit tollem Bad, Regendusche und leiser Air Condition. Sehr gutes Wlan. Außerdem Kühlschrank und Safe, ist auch nicht überall Standard. Schallschutz Fenster, auch zur Straßenseite ist es absolut ruhig. Corona Maßnahmen waren sinnvoll und wurden überall gut und unauffällig umgesetzt. Frühstück auf der Terrasse oder im ebenfalls frisch renoviertem, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Speisesaal mit wirklich allem was man braucht.
