Visited again after a long time and was completely satisfied again. Gladly again Very nice restaurant, whether inside or outside everything is very attractively designed. The menu is typical of a grill restaurant, as a bonus there is an extra steak menu. The quality of the steaks are excellent. The portions are very good and generous.

As always, bombastically good. For me personally it's the best restaurant within a 200KM radius when it comes to meat, I can't comment on the other food. I can't say anything about the room(s) as I've never stayed there. Price performance is of course adjusted accordingly because food etc. has also become more expensive, but for me personally it's absolutely fine and also justified because it's not 0-8-15 meat.

While camping next door for a 1 night stop over we visited this restaurant. The owner of the campsite got us a table as we’d left it late to book and they were full. There were 4 of us we had an excellent meal. Top quality food and the service was great. Nice atmosphere we would definitely recommend eating here.

Really very chic atmosphere - even the toilet is worth a visit. Service was a bit slow at first, but then it was absolutely ok for starters, main courses and desserts. The food itself was really very good - from the meat to the side dishes

Always thrilled! A visual highlight after the renovation. From the outdoor terraces to the indoor dining and the toilets, there is simply an atmosphere that makes you feel good. The food is simply very, very tasty. In addition to the "classic menu" to fill you up, there is an extensive selection of steaks from the dry ager. I would also like to recommend the "lunch menu" from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A small selection of dishes including soup, salad and dessert at absolutely fair prices. There are enough parking spaces available. Of course the A2 is within sight and earshot, but that doesn't spoil my enjoyment at all. Absolute recommendation!

Very good restaurant, delicious food. Unfortunately, the parking lot for people with walking difficulties is regularly occupied by regular guests who are too comfortable to walk a few meters. Despite telling the staff several times, nothing was done about it because, after all, they were regular guests. Unfortunately, this is very bad for those who rely on parking spaces!

Very nice atmosphere, good location. Fries often don't taste that good and the wheelchair parking lot is often the VIP parking lot for regular customers.

We had dinner yesterday on June 8th, 2024 with 5 people. It was ok but just average, not that you can say Helbach is particularly good. The side dishes came 10 minutes later. The salad buffet is a disgrace for such a restaurant. We sat in the winter garden and were allowed to smoke. The waiter smoked and we were also forbidden. There are better restaurants so I don't have to go there again. Price-performance ratio is not right

The food in the restaurant is very good! The service is friendly! The atmosphere and decor are very nice! A restaurant that specializes in good and unusual types of steak (800 degrees) and prepares the meat perfectly! Not cheap, but highly recommended, especially for steak lovers! I can't provide any information about the hotel! The location is right on the motorway exit with the infamous Hamm/Uentrop campsite!

Had dinner at the restaurant today. Despite making a reservation, we had a longer wait. The waiter at the entrance didn't ask us if we had made a reservation, and there was no hello or any other word. What you can say about the food was that it was cold for us and the sauce on the schnitzel was already dry and the beans still had the stem inside, which was very sad after such a long wait. The guests next to us also waited an hour and a half for their food. There was hardly a waiter walking around, so we just went to the front ourselves to pay. It was a real shame for a meal that was intended for the anniversary, especially given the prices, the poor quality, the poor service and also the waiting time plus waiting time despite a reservation...

I wasn't in the hotel, just in the restaurant. It was very tasty and really a lot. A nice salad bar and a great menu. We had a platter for 2 people, but it would have easily fed 3 people. Great steaks and schnitzels. Crispy fries. Nice service and you sit very nicely. Access with a wheelchair or walker is available. You can sit inside or outside. There are enough parking spaces available. Prices humanely. All in all, a great restaurant and one I'll definitely go back to.

Went there to eat by booking in advance, The service was very friendly and we didn't have to wait long. The food on the plates looks very bland, but it tastes good, which is perhaps more important. Ich war nach vielen Jahren mal wieder mit meiner Mama dort. Kannte noch die alte Einrichtung. Nach dem Umbau ist es sehr schön geworden. Ein zusätzliches Plus; ich kann mein Mobiltelefon per Induktion direkt am Tisch laden. Der Service ist immer noch super. Das Salatbuffet hat eine schöne Auswahl und das Hauptgericht frisch und sehr lecker. Ich werde bestimmt wiederkommen.

We have eaten in the restaurant several times and would always go here again just to enjoy the delicious food. No matter whether schnitzel or rump steak or snails or other dishes. The waitresses are always friendly and ask every now and then whether you need anything else or whether it tastes good. The robot is always an eye-catcher, simply because you don't see it everywhere. I think the prices are completely okay.

The robot operator is a fun idea. I was disappointed with the food. My steak was first medium because to well even though I wanted medium and on the second attempt it was medium rare to rare. So unfortunately not at all to the point. The princess beans were great though. I probably won't come back to this restaurant for steak 🥩. In theory you can choose the size of the steak, but in practice you can't.

We wanted to have a delicious meal there again today, so I reserved a table for two by phone for Sunday at 1 p.m. in the middle of the week. Confirmation was later sent twice more via SMS and I acknowledged it with 1 each time. So we drove there full of anticipation for a delicious beef fillet steak and arrived at the counter. There we were informed by an older employee that dogs were recently not allowed. I have to add that we have probably had a delicious meal there 6 times and each time our dog was with us and each time we left the restaurant for less than 150 euros. Since our dog is very well behaved and has been part of the family for 12 years, it was of course out of the question for us to leave him outside in the car to go out to eat. So we turned around and looked for another location and found one in Oelde, near Potts, where the food tastes very good and, above all, dogs are welcome there. So, dear owner of the Helbach 800*, if you don't want our hard-earned money then we'll just go somewhere else. No problem! But don't complain when bad times come and they will come again. Guaranteed! Als Stammgast leider eine negative Erfahrung gemacht mit Ehefrau, Tochter und Schwiegersohn. Die Bedienung war tadellos, wie eigentlich immer .das bestellte Essen weniger. Das Wiener Schnitzel meiner Frau viel zu dick, mein Gericht ,bestehend aus mehreren Fleischsorten war mangelhaft .Beim schneiden eines Filet Stückes merkte man deutlich das durchtrennen von Fasern ,kauen ohne Ende, blieb auf dem Teller. Ähnlich war es auch bei einer Fleisch Scheibe, vermutlich Kotelett. Mein Eindruck : minderwertiges Fleisch. Bisher war das Essen in der Regel empfehlenswert, dieses mal ging es daneben. Bei der Frage ob alles in Ordnung war bleibt man ja höflich.

The restaurant is highly recommended. Everything is really very elegant and classy. There are fire pillars and a red carpet at the entrance - very classy! I had the Hussar skewer, which consists of 3 different steaks, and was thrilled. We were there with a larger group and there were no problems with space. Everyone enjoyed their stay there. But you have to keep in mind that the restaurant is of course not cheap, but it is worth the money!

I'm only reviewing my restaurant experience, I didn't use any hotel services. First of all, I have to say that I ate there for the first time a few weeks ago, based on personal recommendations and not least because of the excellent reviews on Google Maps. I knew in advance what to expect in terms of food selection and price level; you can find out more information in advance on the restaurant's website. I had the crab stuffed mushrooms as a starter and the fillet tips for the main course. The plate language for both dishes was quite simple and didn't appeal to me. The taste was okay, but the fillet tips (in the sauce) were hardly seasoned. I also found the fried potatoes as a side dish to the main course to be a bit underseasoned and too “dirty” in terms of consistency. Against this background, I felt that the price level was simply unjustified - although I would like to emphasize that I am always willing to spend good money on good food. Of course, it could be that I was just "unlucky" with the dish I chose and that the real strengths of the restaurant lie more in the steak dishes, which I almost assume is the case. But there were also extremely positive things to report: The service was simply breathtaking in terms of attentiveness and speed; You didn't have to wait long for orders or repeat orders. I've never seen anything like this anywhere else, very good! The atmosphere was very nice and inviting, both in the restaurant and in the toilet area. Clean and high quality. The rich salad buffet, which you can help yourself to at any time, is also worth highlighting.
