Super delicious food! We were very pleasantly surprised!

Dear Management, My stay at your hotel was – to say the least – unforgettable. We'd barely arrived last night when we were told: "Oops, no more rooms available." So: off to another building, 400 meters away. Breakfast, of course, was an extra charge – and eaten in the main building. A start that almost deserved a standing ovation. But the best part came that night: We returned, and the room door wouldn't open. The card – dead. We tried calling several times, but no answer. So we went back to the other building, where the reception was closed. A handwritten note with an emergency number showed us the way. After several attempts, someone finally answered the phone, and after ten minutes, a young man appeared and reactivated the card. Friendly, no question – it's just a shame that your service was as absent as a night porter on vacation. In the morning, 10 a.m.: Breakfast. Calling it that is a bold move. Leftovers, crumbs, and emptiness. The staff seemed as alive as souls in a trance. To lighten the mood a bit, I listened to music through my headphones – and just at that moment, the "Habanera" rang out: "Love is a rebellious bird..." – and your breakfast was also rebellious, against all standards of hospitality. Then the scene of the day: Someone you could call the "gatekeeper" appeared – presumably the manager – and, with the air of Inspector Zenigata, demanded my personal information. Naturally, I described the grievances I'd experienced: defective card, nonexistent reception, breakfast like something from a tired retirement home. His interest? Zero. Exactly on the same level as your "two falling stars." Sincerely,

I would recommend this hotel and restaurant to everyone! Everything was top notch.

Great hotel, beautiful nature reserve behind the hotel. The food is good and reasonably priced. Excellent parking garage where you can store your bikes. We were able to park our car here for a small fee so we could cycle the Claudia Augusta cycling route for a few days.

The schnitzel with cheese spaetzle was very good. The Kaiserschmarrn needs improvement.

We booked a room with a fridge through Booking, which was necessary for medical reasons. Upon arrival, we found that the room did not have a fridge. A worker offered us another room and at no point did we refuse to pay for the change. Later, the manager called us to the reception with bad manners and unfairly accused us of wanting to take advantage of a free change, which was not true. The new room and the common areas had deficiencies in cleaning and maintenance: dust on various surfaces, stained furniture, insects. The next day, the room was not serviced; the bed was not even made. After our complaint, the bar staff had to go up to change the sheets, which shows a worrying lack of organisation. Even the check-out was carried out by a restaurant worker, and not by reception staff. The attention of the basic workers was correct and friendly, but the management of the establishment was inadequate. The price charged does not correspond in any way to the quality or service received.

We went there for dinner, and it was very good. Their own lemonade was also delicious.

As stated on the room card, you would like a Google review of your stay at your hotel. The Haunstetter Hof is a modern, newly refurbished hotel with a friendly, bright interior. We even enjoyed the route from the underground parking garage, past a very modern restroom area, and up the pretty staircase.

Ate very tasty garlic chicken. The service and atmosphere were very pleasant.

A guest in a home office with a laptop and three cell phones talking loudly on the phone. Guests who feel disturbed by this are ignored. At least the friendly waitress with the arm tattoo was able to cheer me up.

We've eaten here many times, and only now am I giving a review. After several visits, I can truly say a few things: The food is consistently very good. Top-notch dishes remain, and some rotating/seasonal dishes are available. The menu focuses on quality over quantity. The food arrives quickly, and the service is very friendly and courteous. What's unfortunately very annoying is the reservation. Often, the reservation wasn't recorded, so you ended up without a reservation on the day in question. But that wasn't a problem on those days. We still managed to get a good table with 15 people.

Such a good place in a better location with an affordable price.

The restaurant is truly a disgrace. The chicken, which was supposed to have crispy breading, wasn't. The staff also seemed a bit overwhelmed, and the reception was cold and unwelcoming. We were there for a company dinner. Because of these incidents, we had a brief discussion about it at our regular meeting a few days later and unanimously agreed never to consider the Haunstetter Hof for a company party or similar event again.

The rooms are clean and well equipped. There is a restaurant attached and the food was very good and everything was good but not overpriced.

The rooms are comparatively small, but perfectly adequate. You can see that the last renovation was some time ago, but that doesn't bother you at all. Everything is clean, complete, and fully functional. Above all, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming! The food was fantastic. We were there for business.

Kurzurlaub.de customers beware!!! We were there from March 21st to March 23rd, 2025. The package included one regional meal and one welcome drink per person. We had two rooms. The lady told me that only one dinner (up to €25 per room) and two small drinks (also per room) were included. This meant I had to pay over €55 for dinner. Kurzurlaub confirmed that it was per person. We complained, but nothing much happened. After a call from the manager on May 9th, 2025 (!!), where I was asked to explain the situation again, I haven't heard anything since today (May 22nd, 2025). I suspect I won't hear anything more. The hotel is across the street from a gas station, which is a drawback. Not recommended!

The rooms are quite nice, but some of the walls are dirty. The bathroom has no window and no heating. The room cleaning is inadequate, if it's done at all (in our case, it only happened after the second night). I asked upon arrival if parking was free. This was confirmed upon arrival after my booking was verified. After leaving, I received a bill for the parking because I booked through Booking.com and not directly with the hotel. I could have easily parked outside for free. No goodwill, which is a shame. Ultimately, very disappointing for the hefty price.

We had a super pleasant stay here last weekend. Here the guest is truly king. We were very impressed by the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. We have rarely experienced that. We'd love to come back!

Unfortunately I had problems checking in, it took half an hour before I was in a room where everything worked. After the fifth visit to the reception it finally worked...

Delicious food and large portion

The breakfast buffet was good, but the location was poorly chosen. Very tight and unfortunately the staff was understaffed. But very nice and helped immediately when something was empty or swept.

Just returned from a weekend in Augusta, a very beautiful city full of monuments and shops, I stayed in this hotel, it's just a shame that my room was 500 meters away from the hotel, in an annex that is part of the same hotel. But the rooms were still comfortable and functional, it's a shame they were on the ground floor and facing the street.... But this breakfast was delicious and huge, everything from sweet to savory. Then we ate in the hotel restaurant B for both evenings, having a really good time and eating divinely, hamburgers, Schnitzel, desserts, wine, William, everything ok, a special thanks to the waitress who always pampered us... recommended to 💯

I only rate the restaurant, I can't say anything about the hotel. The service was quick...sometimes too quick... The chickens were good and large, the breast was a bit dry, as is the case with fried chicken. The teriyaki sauce should have been a bit sweeter, the chili pepper sauce was definitely too BBQ-heavy. The white coleslaw lacked sauce, the red one was surprisingly good, even though red cabbage is not my thing. The grilled potatoes were way too mushy, they were supposed to be crispy, so you had to dirty the convection oven.

The location on the main road is good, but not great. The open-plan interior is quite well-equipped, but the rooms are somewhat sparse... The shower makes the toilet wet when used. The TV is also worth skipping, given the selection of channels... The breakfast was just okay, and the service staff were very friendly.

Comfortable hotel with very friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. Rich breakfast buffet. The only drawback: It is very difficult to find a vegan option for breakfast. Only muesli with soy milk is possible here. Or vegetables and rolls without spread. There is still potential here!

We were there for lunch today. We got a seat without a reservation and there was almost nothing going on. Very nice rooms, nice service. The food was very good. Unfortunately, the chicken oven made quite an unpleasant noise.

For the first time in all eight years of business trips, I am writing a bad review, but I have never seen a more terrible attitude towards visitors. It started with the fact that when I booked the hotel, I was told the price was 110 euros, and when I arrived, they already said 160 euros. The rooms are dirty and in terrible condition. It is very noisy, the hotel is above the road and the windows are not soundproofed. It's cold in the hotel. The only thing that is not bad is the breakfast. I do not recommend the hotel at all.

This is a very elegant and beautifully decorated hotel and Restaurant. The waitress who served me was very polite,friendly and very professional.I had the business lunch and loved that she tried to upsell the soup and salat.On any other day I would have taken it but I was not so hungry.I had the fish seelachs at 12.90e with potatoe gurkin salat.It was very tasty and great value.After lunch I was again offered a dessert which I think is again fantastic and great I was asked.Highly recommend this hotel and restaurant and look forward to returning with my group of friends.

Breakfast: Everything your heart desires. Hotel: Really good! Restaurant: prices great. I sometimes thought we weren't paying enough because the portions were huge. My work colleagues (who were on assembly work in Bavaria) and I also had to leave something on our plates from time to time. I can only praise the operators and employees. Everyone was more than polite and we always felt very comfortable. It's always better, but this is where things get difficult. I got old chicken on Sunday and the bones were almost green. I'm so disappointed. When I spoke to the employee, he told me it was finished 20 minutes ago. I think to myself, am I stupid or something that I can't distinguish between what's fresh and what's not.

Here you could see how the service deteriorates in a year. We were offered three rooms one after the other, two of which were not made and the service power was just beginning with the last one. Check in 2pm and we were 15 minutes early. No apologies or do you want to have a coffee for so long. Yes, times are changing 🤔

Unfortunately the staff was very overwhelmed in the evening. And in the morning we stood in front of closed doors, no one there, no one available. All the guests were waiting for breakfast. But no one could be reached, not even on the emergency number

I booked a room for my friend for 9 days via Check24 and wanted a certificate with the guest's name about my booking. I called today. They said they would send via email. Waited until the afternoon and nothing was there. A gentleman called again in the afternoon. Didn't want to hear anything. Was told they would send confirmation if I paid the costs in full. I explained that the room is for my friend and he pays when he gets there (he comes from abroad). No, the gentleman was very unfriendly. Apparently the hotel no longer needs customers. Simply canceled.

We stayed in this great hotel for two weeks with several work colleagues. The two owners, father and son, do their work excellently! The staff is very nice and accommodating! There are enough parking spaces available. Both in the underground car park and in front of, next to and behind the hotel. The beer garden and restaurant are excellent. The selection at breakfast is good. Not a lot but there is something for everyone and everything is of very high quality. The rooms are well equipped. The bathroom is very nice and the bed is very comfortable. The only drawback of the entire hotel is that the television in the room does not have a Smart TV. I would like to thank all employees!

Nice atmosphere, we felt comfortable. Unfortunately, at half past one in the morning we were unable to open the door to the hotel with our card, as was another desperate guest who had been trying for a while and unfortunately couldn't reach anyone with the telephone number provided. Thank God we were able to get to the hotel through the underground car park.

Great hotel with great service - we were completely satisfied!

No idea where the hotel's 4 stars are hidden. Double rooms are tiny. If an "extra bed" (wobbly folding lounger!) is provided for the child, you can just barely get the door open. Equipment is spartan: a double bed, a chair, a small table, a mini closet. It's reasonably clean, except for the thick layer of dust on the cupboard, where we unfortunately wanted to stack the bags for reasons of space. Staff friendly but a bit busy. I would say a solid 2-3 star hotel. Okay for business people traveling alone (!), although a bit simple and right on the main road, therefore noisy. For €125 (without breakfast) I slept better.

Unfortunately, the food has deteriorated considerably. I prefer chicken from a mobile grill or a fast food restaurant.

A very nice nice hotel. We booked an overnight stay there. The rooms were large enough and the bathroom was very spacious and well maintained. Unfortunately I have to deduct 1 star for breakfast. The rolls were very hard and there wasn't really a choice. That's a shame for such a nice hotel. In addition, after we turned off the air conditioning and returned late in the evening, our room smelled like chemicals. This is a pity .

We were in Augsburg with several work colleagues for a two-week training course. We were allowed to spend the night here during this time. Service very friendly and accommodating. Very tolerant hotel and try to make everything possible. The food in the restaurant doesn't take long to arrive and is very tasty. In the morning you can look forward to a sumptuous and delicious breakfast buffet. The rooms are modern, very clean and equipped with air conditioning, very useful in summer. All in all we felt very comfortable here, highly recommended!

We had problems with the car. I called to see if there was a room available. There was. Since our car was potentially beyond repair and we would be getting a new car the next day, we took all of our luggage in the taxi to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel we had to wait 20 minutes to be spoken to. No fun with a pregnant woman and a hungry two-year-old (8 p.m.). After being helped we were told we were in a building 500m away. After asking how we would get there with all our luggage; Just call a taxi. Pointed out that we didn't accept that. We politely called and explained everything. Communication in advance would have been better. A tall, blonde man with glasses, very annoyed, indicated that we would have to wait a little longer. After 15 minutes I asked the question again. One moment, we were told, the restaurant was full. After 25 minutes I wanted to ask how long we would have to wait. After all, we waited a total of over 45 minutes. Before I could finish my sentence, I was interrupted. Again, just a moment. When I pointed out that he could let me ask my question since that didn't seem very customer friendly, he raised his voice. When I did that again, I was brave. Dear Sir, I would like to take a customer service course. If you can't stand stress, look for another job. If you are about to have children and find yourself in a situation like this. Then think about us again. We are sure you would be ashamed and do things differently now.

Just picked up chicken to take away. These were really extremely good!

This hotel is absolutely amazing. It is clean, modern and comfortable. Starting with a warm Bavarian welcome at the reception, check-in was quick and easy, especially if you complete the online check-in prior to to arrival. The room was spacious, modern and inviting. The bed was very comfortable, the desk and chairs were a nice touch and the bathroom had really nice amenities. The AC worked well and windows were soundproofed as I did not hear any traffic outside even though the main road was on my side of the hotel. The breakfast was also fantastic. The variety of eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, yogurts, fruit, breads, pastries, and more was amazing. Besides coffee specialties and tee, you could make freshly pressed orange juice. Last but definitely not least, the staff was absolutely fantastic. Everyone from the reception, breakfast room and bar were friendly and very polite. You were made to feel as if you were at home. One last bonus is the parking garage option. I do not have a single complaint to report.

You used to be able to choose vegetarian options for a burger in the restaurant, it was very tasty, I often ate in this restaurant with my family. Now the veggie burger is no longer on the menu. Very disappointing.

Location very clean. Food is OK. I ordered cheese spaetzle with schnitzel Viennese style and was served two main courses >> 1x schnitzel with fries and 1x cheese spaetzle with salad. 2 main courses for 1 person?? The waiter spoke to me and told me that I should order better next time… If anything was unclear, he could simply ask again. Who eats two main courses please?? Of course I had to pay for both, even though the fries remained completely untouched... Otherwise all the employees were very friendly. I don't know if we'll eat here again... Addendum: all family members who ate fries and schnitzel had gastrointestinal problems for 2 days!!!! Never again!!!

Stayed here for business. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very, very tasty every time. The rooms are very spacious, modern and nicely decorated. I didn't know about the digital room card before either. Simply open the room using your cell phone👍🏼. Gladly again.

I regularly order lunch here at lunchtime. Called today, I can pick you up in 15 minutes. Came a little later, the food was only now forwarded to the order, took another 25 minutes longer. The employees didn't care either, friendliness didn't matter here. The fried potatoes were greasy like never before. If all regular customers are treated like this, it's a shame.

This location (restaurant) is getting worse and worse...from the food & the service (the so-called staff)...more like a family activity/meeting place...; At the old location (Vienna Woods) you could still have a GOOD meal...you were warmly welcomed... BUT NOW !!!! JUST ANOTHER DISASTER!!!! HOW CAN YOU DESTROY YOUR PARENTS' (EXPENSIVE) LIFE'S WORK LIKE THAT!?🤔 They were always very friendly and willing to have a nice chat... because we were (were) loyal guests for over 22 years... IT'S A Pity...THAT'S HOW AN ERA GOES AWAY...!!!! Conclusion : - THIS IS THE NEW GENERATION!!!! - SOMETHING RUDE!!!! - NO LIKE FOR GOOD CUISINE! !!! - NO INTEREST IN LOYAL GUESTS!!!! - IT'S DEFINITELY TOO EXPENSIVE IN PRICE!!!!

Was there for lunch. Beer garden was very nice, it looked nice inside too. Food was good and we didn't have to wait long, even though it was quite busy (there seemed to be a lot of regulars there). Gladly again!

The food tastes excellent every time and the price-performance ratio is perfect. The waitresses are always friendly and make sure that everything is taken care of. It was only once that something was missing from an order for self-collection. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

The Haunstetter Hof is a beautiful and comfortable hotel with its own restaurant and bar. The rooms are very modern, nicely decorated and really spacious. It was also very clean. The bathroom is a bit narrow, but you usually spend less time here. 😉 This is probably also due to the fact that the room is so spacious. Therefore everything is good. The atmosphere in the entrance area, at the bar and in the restaurant was nice and cozy. The food was very good and the service was attentive and quick. There were some parking spaces behind the hotel, like an underground car park (if I saw it correctly), which is very advantageous given the location of the hotel. So you can't complain about the parking situation. At breakfast there was a large selection from hearty warm dishes, such as scrambled eggs, Nuremberg or white sausage, to sweet dishes such as muesli, jam, etc. Overall I was very satisfied. Of course there are some points that can be criticized, but I had everything I needed for my well-being. The only point might be that the selection of good whiskey is rather rare, but you can't have everything 😉😜 that's just the way it is. Therefore there is no point deduction. Conclusion: Should I be in Augsburg again, the hotel will definitely be available again.

Were (2 people) for dinner. Reservation went well. Friendly staff, always courteous and attentive. Very good and freshly prepared food. Also the dessert...😃. would love to come back. Be careful: there are few parking spaces available. Do not park on the sidewalk (€55).🤨
