Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr sympathischer Service

Hat uns sehr gefallen. Portionen sind groß. Geschmack sehr gut. Wir kommen wieder..

Wir mussten ca. 1,5 Stunden auf unser Essen warten. Es wurde Steak bestellt, es sollte durch sein kam aber als Medium an. Für das Steak kamen keine speziellen Messer obwohl welche vorhanden gewesen wären. Die Käsespätzle waren ungesalzen, allgemein war das Essen eher ungewürzt, ebenso kamen die Käsespätzle nicht so an wie auf der Karte beschrieben.

Wir hatten Wiener Schnitzel und es war hervorragend!

Wir waren zu viert und hatten die "Sonntagsspezialität Fränkische Scheufele" vorbestellt. Mir persönlich hat es auch geschmeckt, ich war aber nicht voll begeistert. Meine Begleitungen hingegen waren sehr zufrieden. Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht.

Gutbürgerliche Küche mit guter Auswahl auf der Speisekarte und Variationen der Fleischgerichte. Kann man durchaus gerne mal besuchen. Parkmöglichkeiten gab es in dem eher ruhigeren Wohngebiet ebenso ohne Probleme und langem Suchen.

Wir waren auf einen Kurzurlaub in der Nähe und riefen an um einen Platz zu reservieren- daa Gespräch war sehr freundlich und positiv. Wir kamen an und waren echt positiv angetan, es ist eine echt urige Wirtschaft. Die ersten Mißverständnisse gab es bei der Getränkebestellung- naja das hatten wir dann besprochen, das 2. War nach der Frage wie das Essen war- grundsätzlich echt lecker, aber die Pommes so was von salzig- Reaktion- ich gebe es weiter. Hätte mir echt etwas anderes erwartet. So wie ein Sorry oder ein nachfragendes Gespräch. Aber im großen und ganzen kann man das essen gehen empfehlen und ich hoffe für die nächsten Gäste das der Koch weniger verliebt ist.

Zwiebelrostbraten 1a, tolle Bierauswahl.

Frau Huber hat die Preise ordentlich erhöht und das obwohl die Mehrwertsteuer gesenkt wurde! Die Preis Erhöhung beträgt ca. 30% ! Geht's noch !

Alte Wirtschaft,sehr gutes Essen,sehr nettes Personalgern wieder

Wir waren zu 6 und es war ein wenig eng am und um den Tisch herum. Das Lokal war an dem Tag, es wir da waren voll besetzt und es dadurch recht laut. Das Trinken hat etwas gedauert bis es kam und das Essen hat aufgrund der kleinen Küche diesmal leider etwas länger (ca.50 Minuten) gedauert. Das Warten lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall! Die Schnitzel waren wieder sehr lecker und hatten einen tollen buttrigen Geschmack. Einfach nur super lecker! Die Bratkartoffeln waren bei mir auch sehr lecker, wenn auch ziemlich fettig. Alles in allem war ich zufrieden. Super netter und freundlicher Service. War nicht das erste und letzte Mal da. Komme gerne wieder.

Rustikales Restaurant, gutes Essen und schneller Service. Preislich meines Erachtens zu hoch

Wir sind spontan mit Freunden, dem Wunsch folgend, bayrisch, bodenständig aber lecker Essen zu gehen bei Frau Huber eingekehrt - wir wurden absolut nicht enttäuscht! Kleine aber feine Speisenauswahl, die alle frisch und selbst gemacht sind. Von der Brühe mit Einlage, über die Spätzle und die Soss', das Fleisch, Salat, Gemüse - alles TOP! Dazu ein herzlicher und sehr freundlicher Service, der auch zu späterer Stunde nicht den Eindruck erwecken lässt, dass es Zeit ist zu zahlen oder bald geschlossen wird. Dazu natürlich feinste bayrische Bierspezialitäten vom Fass und eine kleine aber feine Spirituosenauswahl. Ein wirklich tolles kleines Wirtshaus, abseits der Touri-Abzocken, mit viel Leidenschaft und Gastfreundschaft, dazu noch wirklich angemessene Preise und eine urig-wohnzimmerliche Atmosphäre. Wir kommen wieder!

War bereits zum zweiten Mal dort, es ist immer einen Besuch wert, nachdem wir dort jetzt quasi ums eck wohnen werden wir wohl öfter mal vorbeischauen. Die Schnitzel kann ich jedem mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen, so richtig zarte, Gold gebräunte Schnitzel bekommt man selten, groß und davon gleich zwei Stück auf dem Teller für unter 20€. Da können sich andere Restaurants mal die ein oder andere Scheibe abschneiden.

Geburtstag gefeiert mit Mama Keine Treppen Mama auf Rollator angewiesen Toll. Essen top. Schön angerichtet. Tolle Portion und schmeckt gut. Kommen gerne wieder. Service toll.

It's a bit out of touch, but the service is warm and welcoming, the food tastes and looks delicious, and the price is reasonable. And everyone is so nice.

A Mouth-Watering Bavarian Gem in a Quiet Augsburg Neighborhood We stumbled upon Wirtshaus Frau Huber while exploring Augsburg, and it turned out to be one of the most satisfying meals of our trip. The restaurant is located in a peaceful, residential area — very quiet and far from the typical tourist spots. We sat outside but I also had a look inside, which was just as cozy and welcoming with a charming Bavarian atmosphere. We ordered: Kässpatzle Albayrisch-Bratkartoffeln Gröst Apfelküchle – warm apple fritters that were the perfect sweet finish The service was genuinely friendly and warm. While the staff didn’t speak English and the menu was only in German, they really tried to understand our preferences and helped us pick out dishes we’d enjoy. Their effort and hospitality made the experience feel even more authentic and personal. If you're looking to enjoy honest, delicious Bavarian food in a quiet setting — and you're okay with a bit of language adventure — Frau Huber is well worth the visit.

Restaurant with a beer garden. When you're familiar with the atmosphere of traditional German restaurants, you won't be disappointed. Otherwise, you can find cheap food nearby.

A complete disappointment. We waited an hour and 40 minutes for the food, and what came next was an absolute disgrace. The schnitzel was as tough as a shoe sole, the canned mushroom sauce was cold, and the fried potatoes were more boiled than fried. Even the friendly waitress couldn't fix it. Once and never again 😔

Highly recommended! We were here with 7 adults and 6 children, and everyone enjoyed the food without exception. Many thanks also to the friendly service 👏

A good, cozy inn! Excellent food with friendly service

Unfortunately, our visit was forgettable. The staff doesn't respond to complaints and is completely immune to any criticism. There's no trained chef in the kitchen either, and unfortunately, you can taste it. A lot needs to change here!!!

The food is really great. But when it's full, you have to wait a while because the food is freshly cooked.

We waited 1.5 hours for the food, especially considering the small portions. Unfortunately, we're disappointed and wouldn't recommend it, as it still costs €75 for three people.

The service was friendly, but the price-performance ratio wasn't justified. There were three of us there and we paid €85 including tip. The portions were much too small. The food was okay in terms of quality, but all three dishes were a bit underseasoned, and the main reason we won't be visiting the place again is that we waited an hour and a half for our food. Maybe we happened upon the wrong time, but after that evening, it was our first and last time.

We went for the first time on the recommendation of a dear colleague. My husband had cordon bleu with spaetzle and gravy, and I had fried chicken salad. It was simply delicious, fresh, and prepared in Bavarian style. We had a very friendly waitress who asked questions and even chatted with us. We really liked that they offer small and large portions. That you can choose your own toppings for each dish. And that it's a small menu with weekly events (Schäuferle week/burger week, etc.). We'd love to come back.

Yesterday, Sunday, December 15th, 2024, I was with Ms. Huber for the first time for “Schäufeletag”. The gastronomy inside is like a Bavarian inn, the service is very customer-oriented and the Schäufele was a poem! After sitting for 5 minutes the Schäufele was brought to me. I'll be happy to come back. On April 11th, 13 of us old friends were there and everyone thought their dish was very good. The ambience, the service and the cuisine are flawless - simply outstanding.

I can recommend less. The food was a bit bland and the beers weren't noteworthy either. I expected more based on the reviews. Maybe an outlier?

Atmosphere rustic but not everyone's taste, I liked it. Typically Bavarian. Kitchen very good and very sufficient. Very good beer selection. It was my first time there and I will come back.

We have been here for years and we are always more than satisfied! The prices are completely ok, the quality of the food and service is very good. The map is neither minimalist nor overloaded, so that everyone should find something. Cozy atmosphere in a quiet location, the best way to get there is by public transport, parking is difficult here...

The food was exceptionally tasty, the atmosphere was extremely cozy, and the service was extremely friendly. I was completely satisfied and would recommend the restaurant at any time!

Very friendly and traditional local cuisine. Prices are okay, what's more important is the food - and it's very good. Where can you still get fresh fried potatoes prepared today? It is always clean and pleasant in the Frau Huber inn, we always like to come over for dinner.

Tolles Wirtshaus mit sehr freundlicher Wirtin und guter Küche. Die Räumlichkeiten haben ein wenig "Eckkneipencharakter", wovon man sich aber auf keinen Fall abhalten lassen sollte. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Portionen sind groß und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wirklich sehr gut. Die Speisenauswahl ist wirtshaustypisch, mit Spezialitäten, wie dem Schäufele-Sonntag. Beim nächsten Mal muss ich unbedingt das Cordon bleu probieren. Das sah am Nachbartisch wirklich toll aus. Hier kann man in angenehmer, entspannter Atmosphäre lecker essen.

We were there for the first time. The food was very good, the service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the background noise was incredibly loud when the dining room was full, so that conversation at the table was only possible with difficulty and half shouting.

Overall, the breading is thicker than the schnitzel itself and is more like a thin pancake. The natural schnitzel is steamed rather than fried. CIAO, Ms. Huber, that's it! The cook just can't do anything! How the good reviews come about is a mystery to me. Probably wrote it myself! 😉

I thought it was good home-style cooking, the portion was good value for money, the food was delicious and the waiting time between ordering and being served at the table was perfectly fine. Our restaurant was full. Dogs are also welcome.

Nice restaurant, excellent food, freshly cooked with good ingredients. Attractively presented. Delicious! Not on the bottom list Swedish cup: Vanilla ice cream with apple compote and cream and eggnog. The vanilla ice cream is excellent, creamy in taste and consistency, best quality, confectioner's cream perfectly half whipped, fantastic. Family-run, very friendly, you immediately feel warmly welcome.
