Hotel, Zimmer 11 , Fußboden in die Jahre gekommen. Die Tapeten hätten einen Anstrich verdient. Spinnweben im Zimmer! Klimaanlage war nicht vorhanden, konnten aber Fenster nicht öffnen, da des nachts ein Kompressor lief, sowie bis in die späten Stunden unterm Fenster, die Raucherecke war und das Kommunikationszentrum des Personals wahrscheinlich.!Im Restaurant kann man sich als Gast nicht so recht willkommen Personal, teilweise unmotiviert. Das positivste an der Reise war die zentrale Lage. Unser Fazit, einmal und nie wieder

Wir waren heute im Gasthof Bären in Weingarten und sind absolut begeistert. Schon vor der Bestellung gab es einen kleinen kostenlosen Aperitif, was direkt einen sehr positiven ersten Eindruck gemacht hat. Wir hatten einen Platz in der Sonne – einfach herrlich! Das Essen war hervorragend: ein richtig gutes Cordon bleu mit Pommes, dazu ein alkoholfreies Weizen und als Abschluss ein Avocado-Dessert. Alles war frisch, sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis – für rund 30 € insgesamt wirklich top. Toller Service, schönes Ambiente und richtig gutes Essen – wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder! Die Roller im Fahrradständer 😂

Ich war mit meiner Familie essen die Pommes waren sehr lecker aber schnitzel leider verbrannt, der service hätte auch angeboten das schnitzel zurückbringen hatte aber ein bärenhunger.

Wir hatten gestern Abend einen schönen gemütlichen Abend im Gasthof Bären. Service Top Essen schmackhaft. Gute Auswahl Gerne wieder, wobei die Toiletten im UG nur über Treppen erreichbar sind

Wir waren zum Abendessen im Bären in Weingarten. Sowohl das Essen als auch der Service (Dalin) ist super gewesen. Vielen Dank dafür! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Unser Essen haben wir sogar in Schwanen-Form mit nach Hause bekommen. 🤓😁

Waren an Silvester dort beim Essen es war sehr schön essen 1a perfekt hat sehr gut geschmeckt die Beerdigung und der Chef auch sehr net würden jeder Zeit wieder hin gehen

Wir hatten heute an Silvester einen wirklich großartigen Aufenthalt. Wir saßen unten in der ehemaligen Kegelbahn der Raum ist super renoviert und sieht aus wie eine stilvolle Jazz-Bar mit Bühne. Sehr gemütlich, stilvoll und richtig schön gemacht. Das Essen war super, der Service aufmerksam und freundlich. Der gesamte Aufenthalt war rundum gelungen. Das Live Konzert auf der Bühne hat perfekt zur Atmosphäre gepasst und den Abend zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Ein perfekter Silvesterabend mit toller Stimmung wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Lokal nur weiterempfehlen!

Ich möchte gerne meine eigene Erfahrung zu einer vorherigen Bewertung ergänzen, da ich an diesem Abend ebenfalls mit meiner Familie vor Ort war. Die in der vorherigen Bewertung geschilderten Eindrücke konnten wir so nicht nachvollziehen, unser Eindruck war ein ganz anderer und durchweg positiver. Wir waren eine größere Gruppe von 14 Personen und wurden bereits im Vorfeld darüber informiert, dass wir im Bereich der Kegelbahn sitzen würden, was für uns vollkommen in Ordnung war. Der Bereich ist schön renoviert, gemütlich und trägt aus unserer Sicht zum Charme des Lokals bei, der Balken in der Mitte scheint mir nicht wie ein Mangel. Gerade weil an diesem Abend sehr viel los war (Weihnachtszeit), hatte man dennoch jederzeit das Gefühl, dass sich das Team große Mühe gibt, allen Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, aufmerksam betreut und regelmäßig gefragt, ob alles passt. Insgesamt haben wir den Abend sehr genossen. das Team war herzlich, engagiert und professionell. Für uns war es ein rundum gelungener Besuch und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

2. Weihnachtstag Super Essen und toller Service! Trotz vollem Haus und unserer großen Gruppe lief alles reibungslos. Man hat gemerkt, wie viel los war, aber trotzdem war alles gut organisiert und das Personal stets bemüht. Wir waren positiv überrascht. Absolut empfehlenswert!!

Es war alles super. Wir saßen in der damaligen Kegelbahn, die renoviert wurde der Bereich sah sehr schön aus und war wirklich einzigartig. Das Essen war sehr gut, auch wenn es ein bisschen gedauert hat. Insgesamt ein toller Besuch mit besonderem Ambiente, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hatten reserviert und waren mit 11 Personen dort beim Essen. Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Doch als uns der Sitzplatz gezeigt wurde war niemand mehr von uns begeistert. Es wurde auf den 2 Kegelbahnen bestuhlt, wenn wir das gewusst hätten, hätten wir mit Sicherheit nicht dort reserviert. Unterschiedlich hohe Tische und der Mittelsteg zwischen den Bahnen war wegen der schlechten Beleuchtung sehr schlecht sichtbar. So passierte es gleich am Anfang, das eine ältere Frau darüber stolperte, stürtzte und sich leicht verletzte. Als man das gemeldet hat, hieß es nur, ist mir auch schon passiert. Es kam keine Entschuldigung. Ein Gutschein wäre angebracht gewesen.Die Stühle gehen teilweise aus dem Leim, also Vorsicht beim Sitzen. Der Service war freundlich doch hatte aufgrund des Platzmangels Probleme jeden Gast zu erreichen. Essen war o.k. Probleme bei der Bezahlung, da anscheinend nur die Getränke eingetippt wurden und nicht das Essen. Mein Eindruck ist, man wollte an diesem Tag [Weihnachten] soviel Kohle wie möglich machen und stopfte jeden Winkel mit Gästen voll. Keine Empfehlung und kein erneuter Besuch. Um auf die Antwort des Inhaber's zu reagieren. Wenn die Reaktion auf den Vorfall die Aussage, daß ist mir auch schon passiert sein soll, dann wurde natürlich super reagiert. Wenn der Sturz schlimmer ausgegangen wäre, denke da könnte sich der Inhaber selbst ausmahlen wie es weiter in Bezug auf die Haftung abgelaufen wäre ..... Wusste nicht, daß Transparent laut Kommunikation auch Kegelbahn heißen kann. Es hieß lediglich es gibt einen Raum im Keller. Die Antwort des Inhaber's macht für uns NIX BESSER

Die Atmosphäre im Gasthof war insgesamt angenehm, wenn auch eher klassisch, und das Essen war sehr lecker und hätte etwas heißer serviert werden können. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Wir wohnen in Weingarten und waren hier zum Abendessen. Das Essen war köstlich, die Präsentation exquisit und der Gastgeber ein sehr netter und freundlicher Mann.😇 Wir kommen ganz bestimmt immer wieder!😍

Wir haben lange gewartet und das Restaurant war voll mit zwei Kindern, die ihr Essen vor mir bekamen, obwohl sie später ankamen.

Mega Service! Sehr lecker! Wir haben zunächst einen Aperitif aufs Haus bekommen. Der beigebrachte Vorspeisen Salat und das Schnitzel bzw. Cordon Bleu waren köstlich! Absolute Empfehlung.

Positiv überrascht! War heute spontan zu einem Geschäftsessen. Wir wurden herzlich mit einem Glas Sekt aufs Haus begrüsst und haben zu unserer Vorspeise auch noch einen Gruß aus der Küche bekommen. Das Mittagsmenü ist ein Preis/Leistungskracher gänstig aber nicht auf kosten der Portion oder Quallität. Gerne wieder ich plane bereits hier mit der Familie hinzugehen.

...ich hatte Übernachtung mit Frühstück gebucht, es gab aber kein Frühstück, weil ich der einzige Gast war. Als Ausweichaktion wurde mir eine Bäckerei empfohlen, die aber auch kein Frühstück anbieten, also musste ein Kaffee genügen..., schade.

The service is friendly, unfortunately I have to say that I am very disappointed with the rooms. Holes and cracks in the wall, carpet with burn marks, refrigerator in the room does not work, in the bathroom the seal of the shower cubicle is coming off.

Two of us stayed overnight at the Bären. The first thing we noticed was the great friendliness of the host family. You feel valued as a guest, and we greatly appreciated the very personal service (the son of the house). At breakfast, we were served by an equally friendly lady, and we learned that she was the sister of the aforementioned waiter. In short – a top-notch family business! We were there for lunch today; the food was lukewarm and lacking in seasoning. The service did its best and was very friendly. But that doesn't change anything... we won't be coming back.

We received a warm welcome. The room was clean, and we had plenty of space in the suite. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, and everyone was delighted. Firstly, the pizza was world-class, and secondly, the service was very attentive, friendly, and child-friendly. We would definitely recommend coming here and feeling at home. Thanks to the team; you do a fantastic job.

We ate there. The food itself was delicious, with good meat, and the salad was equally good. What was also really great were the aperitifs and the panini on the house. The first negative thing was the dirty tablecloth. There was no one sitting directly in front of us, and the table had already been freshly set. However, there were several large stains on the tablecloth. This unfortunately doesn't give a hygienic impression. I also ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail. It contained a huge clump of frozen, iced berries and several more ice cubes. It didn't look appealing at all, and the price was way too high, as there was very little drink in it, just ice and iced berries. The waitress also spilled part of the cocktail over my phone while serving. Luckily, nothing happened.

Incredibly good value for money. As a student, you get a meal plus a drink for €10. It was also delicious!

We received a warm welcome, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were standard but clean, and the food in the restaurant was absolutely excellent, and the atmosphere was also super friendly. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again. Highly recommended.

I have never seen such a bad breakfast buffet (the cheapest rolls, honey, a few slices of sausage, some cheap cheese, cold blue boiled hard eggs, no fruit....not even an apple and if you want cappuccino, you have to pay extra 😱

Centrally located in Weingarten as a renowned inn, the restaurant has always captivated with its beautiful ambiance. The transition from purely Swabian cuisine to the Italian owner worked perfectly. Both the Swabian classics and the Italian dishes are simply impressive. The portions are surprisingly generous for the price, so even people go home with a hearty appetite and satisfied. Please keep it up.

I've been coming to the hotel since 2001, now the second tenant, and the hotel and service are getting worse and worse. I can't say anything about the food in the evenings. I've been eating elsewhere for the past two years. Breakfast today was not good. No service in sight, except for two tables, all of them had used dishes. The young man was busy on his cell phone. Scrambled eggs were apparently only made from egg yolk, probably from a packet. The reason given was that there was a rule that you couldn't use egg whites 🫣. Half the juice bottles were empty. Unfortunately, this was my last visit. When I arrived, the rooms were still being made up at around 5 p.m.

We visited the hotel and restaurant, and it was an all-round successful stay. We made our reservations on Booking.com. We received a warm welcome upon check-in; the entire team was friendly and attentive. The room was clean, comfortable, and absolutely great for the price! I had a black bear pizza. The pizza was very tasty and well topped. As a starter I had the prawns. They were also very tasty and had a good spiciness. We've been to the Bären several times and it's always been pretty good. Today, however, was an absolute horror failure. The place was full - with 3 small children we had to wait 35 minutes, 60 minutes and 90 minutes for the food - despite asking several times whether the food had been forgotten. After my food came after 110 minutes, it wasn't complete. The only downer: the food, when it was there, was generally tasty, the boss apologized.

We were at the Bären today, even though it was full, we were very satisfied, our food came late but we showed understanding at the moment. The staff was very friendly and the boss was very charming towards us It's worth a visit :)

Yesterday there were four of us eating at the Bären, and one meal was worse than the other. Cold hard fries, salad from the bag, meat not of good quality for this price-performance ratio. The top thing was the cheese spaetzle, no cheese found in it, just dry noodles. Unrehearsed staff who constantly forget the salad. We won't go to this restaurant again. It's a shame about the bear, it used to be a really good restaurant.

Room was very large and clean however old as expected. The employees were so nice. Breakfast could have more variety. City is very nice and alive ( during the day), hotel is very well located. However the city is only accessible through local roads and it takes time to reach to major highways.

We visited shortly after it opened based on a recommendation. The owner is really friendly, the value is good, and dishes range from Swabian to Sicilian. We'll be back! Hurray, they also serve organic beer from the Leutkirch Härle winery.

Well, overall disappointing, I had expected more, especially better quality. The pumpkin soup as such was hard to distinguish, tasted mostly like gravy and was oversalted, the cheese on the toast had obviously been melted for a while and had been reheated after a long time, had gummy Consensus, the Leberkäs was clearly in the oven for too short a time, was still raw in the middle, the fried potatoes were fried nice and crispy, but when consumed there was a very unpleasant taste and coating, the oil used was probably not entirely compliant. Taste wise it was 3 .Classic.Will definitely not come again.

Went there to eat in the middle of Weingarten's pedestrian zone! The food was super tasty, in a cozy atmosphere. Very friendly staff! Unfortunately, here too the waiting time is somewhat longer due to the lack of staff. That's why only 4 stars. You get the full 5 points for the food! Top craftsmanship for good home cooking! Good Swabian cuisine in Weingarten near the town hall

I was too hungry to take the photo beforehand... Had cordon bleu and the Guelph loin. Service - top Price - OK Taste - very good Portion size - very gur Very tasty and generous portion Only the Schwob needs more sauce with the spaetzle, otherwise everything is great!

The location is great & you can sit outside under the roof. We were very happy that we found a restaurant with warm food after 9:30. Large, attractive menu and the prices seem fair. Unfortunately, the big disappointment came and the food didn't taste tasty at all. Maybe it was because it was so late but there were 6 of us and unfortunately everyone was disappointed. Service was ok

Unfortunately, the service wasn't very friendly and probably wasn't very knowledgeable because the questions weren't answered correctly. As we were leaving we noticed that someone had just been served the same dish as us. But there were 3 Rösti on the plate instead of just 2 like we had. It's a shame that not everyone here gets the same thing. We were there with the voucher book. Maybe that was it. But it shouldn't be like that and we've never experienced it like that. But the food was very good as always.

We were there for lunch. We found the central location and the on-site parking spaces very pleasant. The service was friendly and quick. The portions were completely sufficient for the price and the food was consistently delicious. We would definitely eat there again and can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

We ate there with 6 people, made reservations in advance and got a nice table. The food looked great and tasted even better. The burger was very tasty and the meat was also great, as was the homemade spaetzle. The price was a bit high, but still okay compared to other inns with less good food. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service was very attentive and friendly. This inn can be recommended 100%.

I went out to eat today and ordered a grill plate and changing it was no problem. Food was superrrrr delicious, price too. Apart from the superrrrr nice friendly service. I'm sometimes very Italian but it was superrrrr and the only local dish where you can get delicious homemade spaetzle. Thanks

Food wasn't good for the high price! Fries were fried for the second time and were therefore hard and also rather cold. The meat was poorly breaded. On the holiday there was loud Albanian music coming from the kitchen, which didn't suit the inn atmosphere. There is much better food cheaper in Ravensburg!!!!

Was for lunch in the restaurant in Wgt on Sunday in March. Food good and service quick. Burger wasn't that big, especially the toppings. Food to pick up & take away.

I was there twice. The soups were OK, but once the main dish was very salty. The staff are friendly, but a little slow.

Unfortunately the quality is decreasing more and more. Today's soup of the day was completely over-spiced and significantly too salty. Unfortunately the schnitzel was completely dry and the sauce was tasteless and watery.

Hello, I was just there having lunch, the roast wasn't available yet, then I was sent off with a cheaper dish with Brussels sprouts that were inedible. My wife had a veal schnitzel that was more reminiscent of an old sow. I can't recommend this place more.

Waren heute beim Mittagessen, war sehr voll und hat lange gedauert bis das Essen kam. Hatte Vegetarische Kartoffeltaschen mit Gemüse und Tomatensauce. Gemüse war nur Erbsen und Bohnen, leider beides Tk Ware ☹️und die Taschen denke auch und hätten besser Knuspriger angebraten sein können

Wir waren bei unserem heutigen Besuch im gut besuchten (entsprechende Wartezeit bei 2 Angestellten) Gasthof Bären soweit zufrieden, die Servicekräfte waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, die Speisen schmeckten gut, die Menge war zum Mittagstisch nicht gerade für einen großen Hunger und die Getränkepreise sind leider auch hier im "Teuro-Bereich"!

Sehr nettes Personal beim Essen könnten Sie besser sein der Salat zu trocken und zu wenig Soße

netter Gasthof inmitten der Innenstadt. Das Zimmer war sauber und es war alles vorhanden, was wir benötigt haben. Das Essen im Gasthaus war sehr lecker und der Service extrem aufmerksam. Das Frühstück war solide mit allem was wir gebraucht haben. Leider war das EC-Gerät vor Ort kaputt, weswegen wir bei der gegenüberliegen Bank noch Geld abheben mussten. Alles in allem hatten wir einen guten Aufenthalt.

Die Unterkunft kann ich nicht bewerten, denn wir haben nur dort gegessen, und das war - im Vergleich zu vor fünf Jahren - nichts Besonderes mehr (für die relativ kleinen Portionen ziemlich teuer) und die Wartezeit (über eine Stunde bis das Essen kam) ist "unter aller Kanone"! Eine Frau am Nachbartisch hatte nur einen Salat bestellt und wartete darauf ebenfalls über eine Stunde. Also eher NICHT zu empfehlen!

Waren dort relativ spät zum Essen. Service war sehr unaufmerksam und des öfteren einfach verschwunden für längere Zeit.... essen war so naja.... Schnitzel aus dem tiefkühler in der fritte gemacht.... also nichts besonderes. Wer zeitig dran ist, sollte den Umweg in eine andere Wirtschaft gehen.

Mittagessen sehr lecker, trotz das viel los war, alles schnell gegangen in meiner Mittagspause.

Wir haben hier für eine Nacht ein Zimmer gehabt. Die Zimmer sind etwas veraltet. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und gut. Der Service war sehr freundlich!

Leider hat die Qualität des Essens deutlich nachgelassen. Jetzt schon das dritte Mal war das Essen zwar ok, jedoch für den Preis überhaupt nichts besonderes… Früher hatte das Essen immer das gewisse etwas, heute zB zwei kleine feste Semmelknödel mit völlig durchgeweichten Pfifferlinge in wässriger Soße, man wurde nicht einmal satt…

Über das Hotel kann ich keine Auskunft geben, wir waren nur im Restaurant. Dieses kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen, das Essen war hervorragend. Der Salat war sehr geschmackvoll angemacht. Toll, dass im beilagensalat auch Kartoffelsalat, Karottensalat, etc enthalten ist. Ich hatte Kässpätzle, diese waren wohl selbst gemacht und geschmacklich einfach top. Die anderen am Tisch hatten Fleisch und waren durchweg zufrieden. Preise sind normal bis günstig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Wir waren zu siebt im Biergarten des Gasthofs zum Abendessen. Das Essen war sehr gut und unser Kellner alleine war das Geld wert. Es war ein rundum gelungener Abend.

This is a very charming place to stay with nice rooms and a great location in the town. The food there was wonderful and other places to eat are close by. My only complaint is that the rooms were extremely hot because of the recent heat wave, and it would have been great if they could have provided fans.

Haben dort nur was getrunken und würden bedient obwohl eigentlich noch zu war. Klar sind nur Getränke aber dennoch etwas was ich dem Personal hoch anrechne. Getränke waren gut (u.a Aperol) gemischt und kamen schnell. Ebenfalls konnte man schnell zahlen ohne lange Wartezeit.

Sehr feines schwäbisches Essen. Die Karte könnte ich hoch und runter Essen!
