The Hotel Europa in Munich offers an excellent overall experience thanks to the quality of its staff, who are always helpful and friendly, both at the restaurant and the reception. The restaurant stands out for its varied selection and high-quality dishes, while the breakfast is plentiful, well-assorted, and of a high standard. However, the only downside concerns the cleanliness of the rooms: we noticed that towels were not changed (we had to request them) and there was dust on the floor. By improving this aspect, the hotel could ensure a perfect stay.

Multiple issues with my stay. 1) You cannot control the temperature to your own room, so if you like it hotter or colder? Too bad. I talked to guest services about this, and the suggestion was to open my window to make it colder, I told them I felt unsafe doing that (as you can see from the image below) someone could just walk into my room from the outside. Nothing was done about this except them telling me not to worry about it. Obviously I have to worry about it, because if something happens, I doubt they will volunteer to be the ones replacing items. 2) Ripped sheets. 3) Crumbs on ground. Location is pretty good though. Seems more like a 2-3 star hotel than a 4 star hotel.

A very disappointing experience. The front desk lady Monica was very rude and accused us of having breakfast in the hotel when we didn’t. We asked her to check the CCTV if she didn’t believe us, but she just ignored us after this altercation and said ‘goodbye’ in a sarcastic manner, discriminating us as liars. In general, not worth four stars and the price. The room was quite dirty and lacked proper shampoo and body wash. The only positive thing is the room size is decent.

The reception staff, specifically Monica, was very disrespectful to us. She accused us of having a hotel breakfast for one of the days when we did not!! We are not sure if the hotel is scamming customers for this or what. We asked her to check CCTV, but instead she was very disrespectful and just told us to leave the hotel right away. Customer service here is horrible!!

Beautiful hotel and room, very good breakfast, location at around 2.5km from downtown, it was a great stay. Only the underground parking is tight But other 4 star hotels in the city dont even have it

Centrally located, good connections to public transport

Very nice hotel. On tram line from train station but only 20 mins walk. Close to supermarket and cafe. Room was clean and well equipped. Pillows were feathers and not comfortable enough for me. Room was hot without any heating on and only ventilated by opening the window on to the street. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

A treasure, everything is right here. Rooms modern and spacious, location good, breakfast with a large selection. Employees all very friendly. Absolute recommendation!

We arrived very late, due to a delayed flight, and upon checking in, which was simple, we asked about room service and were told there was none. If we wanted food we could use a food delivery service. We had no kettle in the room, on the first night, one of our duvets had some light staining, and oddly, a bottlecap fell out of our fresh towels. The breakfast was lovely, and the location was convenient.

The hotel essentially met our expectations. The room and bathroom were modern and generously furnished, clean and functional. Breakfast very good and rich. The food offered in the restaurant was good to very good at moderate prices.

Top location right between the Olympic grounds and the city center, both within walking distance. Good drinks and good breakfast. Only the rooms facing the street are very noisy but okay with the windows closed

The hotel is located near the university on Lothstrasse and about 5 stops from the main train station by tram. The rooms are large, the staff are very friendly and the breakfast is delicious and generous. You can also stroll into the city center on foot, or you can quickly get to the train station to take the subway or tram to important destinations. I've been here a few times and have always been satisfied. Gladly again.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable! The facilities in the room are good and the quality is ok. The hotel parking place is very nice and in a reasonable rate (13€ per day). The only improvement should be the stream in the shower, which is too weak

Rather inconspicuous from the outside. The first impression is deceptive. Highly recommended.

My daughter (17) and I stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. We had a room on the 5th floor with a window opening to the courtyard and a great view of the city. The room is designed in modern colors and materials with lots of great lighting. The shower is spacious and has a "rain" shower head. We did not eat breakfast but sat at the bar two nights which is open until 12 / midnight serving a large variety of drinks including many (affordable) local wines. The location is super central, in walking distance to a drugstore, bakery and several restaurants (including the great Amari), one of the universities (Hochschule Muenchen) and a 10-15 minute bus ride into downtown / to major sights. Service was super professional and friendly. We would and will stay here again.

We came from Trier to experience beautiful days. The hotel is really central, as you can take the S-Bahn 20/21 directly to the city center. Approximately 5-8 minutes drive. The BMW Museum is also easy to reach and much more… About the hotel: we booked and received a very nice superior room. Our daughter has a single room right next door, which was made possible. There are simply no problems that cannot be solved. The whole team goes to great lengths to ensure that the guests have a pleasant time. The staff at the reception: simply lovely and warm The staff at the bar: wonderful, if bed isn't calling, you can stay there for a long time. The beds are very comfortable and there is great washing and shower gel in the bathroom from Rituals... By the way, it's worth eating in the hotel because there's a star chef there. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it due to time constraints. It's significantly cheaper than in the city

Staff were nice. We were able to check in early. Clean and great location, not a far walk to Old Town. Breakfast was delicious too!

Gut gelegenes Hotel .Tramstation ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt.

Der barkeeper ist wirklich mega gut. Hatte die besten cocktails meines Lebens.

Hotel war sehr schön und sauber. Die Zimmer auch und sehr neu. Frühstück war sehr lecker und super große Vielfalt. Gerne wieder macht weiter so.

Zimmer (zumindest unseres) sind frisch renoviert und gut ausgestattet. Hatten ein sehr ruhiges Zimmer in Richtung Hof. Man sieht, dass das Hotel ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel hat, aber sie haben es mit einem gewissen charm ins Jahr 2024 gebracht. Frühstück ist super!

Zu zweit waren wir das Wochenende in München und hatten einen sehr guten Aufenthalt im Hotel Europa. Das Hotel in dem wir üblicherweise sind, war ausgebucht, daher zum ersten Mal hier. Einen Parkplatz haben wir vor der Tür gefunden, die Garage kann ich also nicht bewerten. Der Empfang, obwohl es bereits Mitternacht war, war sehr gut. Alles war vorbereitet durch die einfache Online Buchung. Zimmer ruhig, gross, sauber, Bett sehr bequem, Bad war top. Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, alles vorhanden was wir normalerweise frühstücken. Wir kommen wieder.
