We had our wedding in July at the Hotel Altes Land with 120 people Hochtiedssaal celebrated. The initial consultation and preparation were uncomplicated and smooth. The hotel provides friendly and competent contact persons. We received a very friendly welcome and our wishes were fully implemented. The hall was beautifully and lovingly prepared for the wedding. We were particularly pleased about the extremely hard-working and committed staff, as well as the really, really tasty buffet! The hall has a really great atmosphere and not only impressed us but also our guests! We wouldn't do anything differently and definitely recommend it! :-)

The hotel itself is very nice, it has a certain charm. Unfortunately, I haven't slept as badly as I did there in a long time, the beds and mattresses don't work at all. I can (unfortunately) only agree with the previous reviews. The food is nothing special, unfortunately the price-performance ratio isn't right either. But the area is very beautiful.

We celebrated our free wedding ceremony and wedding in the hotel and stayed overnight in the hotel with some guests. Our guests and we had a great time! Everyone felt very comfortable and the process was uncomplicated and flawless (both in preparation and on the day of the event). The staff was very friendly, especially with the service during the celebration. The food was great and plentiful and even though it was very warm upstairs in the Tiffany Hall due to the weather, everyone ate well. Our room was spacious, so we had enough space for styling etc. We would celebrate here again at any time and can warmly recommend the hotel - thank you very much!

We were there for a conference. The food in particular was very good. This hotel is actually recommended for a slightly older audience. There are also many offers for cycling.

In one sentence: They can do weddings! My daughter was able to celebrate her wedding celebration at the Hotel Altes Land on Whit Saturday, and all guests (D, A, UK) were extremely satisfied with the entire process and the accommodation. There was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to complain about. In detail: - There was long-term planning supported by the hotel - The price structure is extremely transparent and can be viewed on the homepage with many PDFs - Short-term changes a few days before the celebration were also possible - the interior design was magnificent - there was a permanent contact person during the ten-hour celebration - There was always enough staff available, no one ever had to wait for anything - the staff were without exception friendly and accommodating - the food and drink was great (delicious!) - The post-processing (locking the gifts in the hotel safe, clearing out the banquet hall the day after) also went absolutely smoothly In short, everything was so that we will have pleasant memories of the celebration for a long time. The only unpleasant thing is that one leg still hurts from dancing. ;-)

We were there for the apple blossom (already beginning to bloom), unfortunately it was 3 weeks earlier, but that's just nature. The hotel is very nice for 3 stars, the staff is extremely friendly. There is also apple juice from the region for breakfast and we thought that was great. It is a good starting point for exploring the area on foot, by public transport or by car. We recommend making a booking directly through the hotel, the price is cheaper.

The hotel is relatively old, but has charm. Food was good and sufficient. Staff very friendly. Room was in need of renovation. Especially the bathroom with an unsightly shower. Beds very uncomfortable as there are no slatted frames. Given the price level of the hotel, we expected significantly higher quality. A pity !

We went there for dinner on Mother's Day after a tour of the old country. The food was very good and the service was fabulous. The two young ladies were really at home in the service. You rarely experience that

My husband and I celebrated our wedding reception here two days ago in the Tiffany Hall. The communication in advance was very pleasant and always very accommodating. Everyone on the team tried very hard to implement all of our wishes and was able to answer all of our countless questions. We were able to get into the hall and make preparations the evening before the celebration, which took a lot of stress out of us on the day itself. During the wedding reception, all the service staff were simply fabulous, the food from the buffet was delicious and the hall itself looked beautiful. Our hotel room was also really nice and the breakfast the next day was also very good. A really big compliment to the great team, we had never experienced service at this high level before. We had our absolute dream wedding and the team at Hotel altes Land contributed a lot to it!

Nice country hotel with small drawbacks! We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Altes Land. Unfortunately, the hotel on site is not as nice as in the photos on the internet. We were there at Easter, but there was absolutely nothing Easter-y at the breakfast buffet, not even chocolate eggs, etc., what a shame!!! Unfortunately, my bed or the mattress in the large single room was also very hard. The breakfast buffet was good, but it still offers options for improvement, such as scrambled eggs, meatballs, etc., which was not included. We also tried the restaurant, but unfortunately the food there wasn't outstanding. Overall we are satisfied, but you should still pay attention to what customers say.

After our wedding and my 60th birthday, we will also celebrate my mother's 90th birthday there in May. We have only had the best experiences there so far, the organization of the celebrations was top notch, the food was super good, the atmosphere was totally harmonious, the hotel was great, we are happy We're really looking forward to the celebration followed by an overnight stay in the hotel, almost all of the 30 guests will be staying in the hotel again, like at the previous celebrations, it's firmly in our hands for a few days and we're really looking forward to the weekend in Jork Hotel Altes Land!

Very disorganized even though everything was ordered beforehand. We were overwhelmed with 24 guests.

Hello dear team, from the Hotel altes Land, We were able to celebrate our wedding in your large hall last summer. We and our guests had a wonderful celebration in the best weather. The service staff gave their all that evening so that everyone felt comfortable. The table decorations were set up as discussed and dismantled for us. Excellent! We all really enjoyed the food and there was something for meat eaters and vegetarians. Thanks to Christian for the advice and support this evening. The price-performance ratio is reasonable and therefore not too expensive. And thank you very much for the gift basket for our wedding. Best regards

I don't understand where 4.4 * comes from here. We were there on Easter Monday. Pre-ordering was unnecessary...that should have pricked up your ears. The menu was great, but... the result was 08/15. A tiger jumps out and a simple street cat lands. The food was neither tasty nor the lamb tender... just run of the mill

We had lunch here. All three dishes are presented to the eye and very tasty. Service really attentive and nice staff. Would love to come back.

We went for brunch and have never had breakfast in such a dreary environment, a large hall, several uncovered wooden tables, not a bit of decoration in the room/tables. Cutlery, napkins, tea/coffee had to be fetched in cups, it spilled over to the table and was no longer hot when there was coffee! The buffet itself, carelessly prepared, clear, tasted rather bland. The price-performance ratio here is not right at all. Very unfortunate.

Went here for brunch today. A bit poor for the price. More like breakfast. Refilling took a very long time, 4 types of cold cuts. Fish very dry, chicken baked with cheese very greasy. There was no more choice of meat at the warm buffet.

Excellent! Very large rooms. Friendly staff. Central location in Jork. Attractive kitchen in the house. A little noisy in the hallway, but we were probably the loudest with small children ;-) Only recommended if you want to stay overnight in Jork.

I had such a nice experience. I would recommend to anyone visiting the region. Also it's close to Airbus factory for business trips!

Had dinner in the restaurant yesterday. The food was presented on the plate very nicely to the eye. It tasted excellent and the price/performance ratio was right. The service was very nice and attentive.

Eating kale in the old country... It's a happening, there's no other way to describe it. A huge location with 3 large buffets with different types of kale. To start with a kale soup followed by two kale salads that prove: you can also eat kale cold. Old country kale: strong in taste. Bremen kale is slightly milder and rounder in taste Kale with garlic and chickpeas: Garlic note predominates but with a hint of kale Kale with Curry: Classic kale flavor mixed with a curry note on the finish Kale with salmon: A little too fishy for my taste. Kale with Apple: The kale flavor is complemented with a little apple. Kale with pear: Unexpectedly good combination of kale is beautifully complemented by the warm pear. A harmonious overall experience. In addition, various types of smoked sausages, bacon and belly slices as well as duck. In summary, everything is really very tasty and there is something for every taste. It is a mecca for all kale lovers. Anyone who likes kale should try it at least once.

Wonderful hotel with very friendly people in the middle of Jork.

Family management, therefore personal. Very friendly staff, well-kept old buildings, outdoor dining in the summer, both burgers and good German cuisine: very tasty. Breakfast average but rich and also early. One of the best in the Altes Land.

Tolles Hotel uns sehr freundliches Personal. kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeit, Hund gern gesehen auch im Restaurant, tolle Zimmer etc. ein Besuch ist unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Relaxing hotel in the beautiful town of Jork. Excellent rooms and food. Perfect hotel for a weekend trip.

Wir waren zum Martinsgans Essen hier im Restaurant und wirklich begeistert. Der Service war schnell und ausgezeichnet. Das Essen war köstlich und reichlich. Es wurde immer wieder nachgereicht. Wir können das Restaurant sehr empfehlen. Das Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum von Jork.

Ein tolles Hotel, um im „Alten Land“ Urlaub zu machen, große und kleine Feiern zu erleben oder auch Tagungen durchzuführen. Mitarbeitende die mitdenken, unterstützen und auf alle Wünsche eingehen. Abgerundet wurde dies mit gutem Essen und klasse Service. Viele Details sind liebevoll eingerichtet und lassen einen gerne noch mal in die gute alte Zeit eintauchen.

Liebes Team vom "Hotel Altes Land", am 22.09. durften wir in euren Räumlichkeiten unsere Hochzeit feiern. Gern möchten wir euch auf diesem Weg ein Feedback hinterlassen. Dies ist uns besonders wichtig, da ihr einen großen Teil dazu beigetragen habt, dass dies einer der schönsten Tage für uns war. Von der Planung und Vorbesprechung, sowie der Umsetzung und den Reservierungen der Zimmer hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Am Abend der Feier geht unser ganz besonderer Dank an die komplette Crew die uns begleitet hat. Der erlebte Service war zu jeder Zeit einfach mit grandios zu bezeichnen. Freundlich, zuvorkommend, immer mit einem wachen Auge für uns und unsere Gäste. Wir haben uns "pudelwohl" gefühlt, und konnten uns ganz auf die Feier konzentrieren. Ihr habt einen richtig tollen Job gemacht. Vielen Dank für die positiven Erinnerungen. Wir werden euch sehr gern weiterempfehlen, und haben dies sogar schon getan. Wir waren zur Hochzeit eingeladen und es war super. Das Essen war Spitze und das Personal auch. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Wir waren abends zu dritt hier essen. Es ist stilvoll eingerichtet, toller freundlicher und schneller Service. Wir hatten die Fischplatte mit frischen und knusprigen Bratkartoffeln und zartem Rinderbraten in Hagebuttenteesoße. Beide Gerichte hervorragend frisch zubereitet, Der Rinderbraten zerging auf der Zunge. Eine klare Empfehlung, wer stilvolles Ambiente mit frisch zubereitet Gerichten sucht.

Wir haben im Hotel Altes Land unsere Hochzeit gefeiert, vorab mit einer Freien Trauung im Garten. Waren begeistert! Die Leute sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend, der Service super und das Essen sehr lecker. Wir müssten uns um nichts Sorgen sondern konnten den Abend zu 100 Prozent genießen.

Wir haben hier unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und fühlten uns von Anfang an sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Location ist wirklich schön, und das Angebot auch wirklich gut. Unsere Hochzeit hier war traumhaft. Man hat die Möglichkeit eine freie Trauung im schönen Garten zu machen und hat sowohl innen als auch außen einen idyllischen Bereich. Das Essen ist auch sehr sehr lecker gewesen und das Servicepersonal stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unsere Hochzeitsplanerin war auch super freundlich und hat uns sehr gut bei allen offenen Fragen geholfen, und mit dafür gesorgt, dass alles reibungslos abläuft und dass alle unsere Wünsche umgesetzt werden konnten. Der Preis für all das war auch total in Ordnung, und es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Das Zimmer für die Übernachtung war auch sehr schön, und das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen auch lecker und vielfältig. Wir können das Hotel Altes Land als Hochzeitslocation zu 100% weiterempfehlen! Wir waren in Jork und hatten Fahrräder mit. Man kann hier viel mit dem Fahrrad unternehmen. Ohne Räder würde ich hier keinen Urlaub machen.

Sehr schönes Ambiente und außerordentlich engagiertes Personal.

Sehr angenehmes, traditionelles Hotel mit einer sehr guten Küche. Wir haben zweimal übernachtet und zweimal im Restaurant gegessen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren mehrheitlich freundlich; die Dienstleistungsbereitschaft und Flexibilität hielt sich jedoch in engen Grenzen.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön. Alles etwas verwinkelt und die Räumlichkeiten, sowie der Aussenbereich schön ausgestaltet. Das sorgt für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und wohnlich. Das Bad ist gut ausgestattet und räumlich großzügig gestaltet. Alles ist sehr sauber und einladend. Im Hotel befinden sich mehrere Säle für größere Veranstaltungen. Diese waren auch am Wochenende ausgebucht. Das Personal schien damit überfordert zu sein und es fehlte an Professionalität und Koordination. Ich denke, hier wird auf Hilfspersonal zurückgegriffen. Zu lange Wartezeiten für ein gemeinsames Essen und Trinken. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für das Frühstücksbuffet ist super. 6.50 €. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für ein Frühstück braucht. Alles in allem kann ich das Hotel empfehlen.🙂👍

Sehr verehrtes Team vom Hotel Alten Land, Es ist zu sehr zu bedauern, dass ihre Monatlichen Veranstaltungen leider nicht so beworben werden. Durch Zufall hab ich auf der Homepage gesehen, dass morgen ein Spanferkel-Buffet stattfindet. Leider bin ich morgen verhindert und kann an dieser Veranstaltung nicht teilnehmen.

Toller Service, sehr, sympathisch. Die Zimmer sind sauber, komfortabel und die Küche ist regional, lecker und preislich absolut top. Komme gerne wieder!

Sollte jemand das alte Land mit dem Rad erkunden 😁 dann vom Hotel Altes Land 😉 es hat alles gepasst wir waren rundherum sehr zufrieden 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞 und es wirklich ein sehr guter Startpunkt

Ein ausgesprochen angenehmes Hotel mit tollem Service und extrem ausgereifter Gastronomie.

Da wir direkt gebucht hatten, konnten wir ohne Kosten früher abreisen. Da wir mit Haustier angereist sind haben wir im sogenannten Gästehaus übernachtet. Zimmer und Bad waren angenehm groß und sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden wieder direkt buchen.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit hier gefeiert und waren rundherum sehr zufrieden! Olli hat alles super einfach gemacht und wir hatten viel Spaß!

Problemlose Online-Buchung, freundlicher Check-In, sehr saueberes - eher neu gestaltetes (warmes) Zimmer im Gästehaus, keine Minibar aber großer Kühlschrank mit Getränken im Treppenhaus, sehr gutes Abendessen, normales Frühstück, rundum freundlicher Service. Nettes Landhotel eben!

Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Essen.

Sehr warmes Zimmer,was sich leider nicht gut schattieren lässt. Entweder hat man es 2 Grad kühler,dann sitzt man aber im dunklen Zimmer. Matratzen ziemlich durch gelegen. Frühstück nix besonderes, Abendessen so lala. Bratkartoffeln bestellt, gekommen sind kurz durch die Pfanne geschwenkte Pellkartoffeln. Cheeseburger sehr fett, viel zuviel Käsesosse,kein Käse. Insgesamt ist man nicht sehr bemüht um den Gast.

Ich war hier zu einem sehr leckeren Abendessen eingeladen. Toller Service, das Steak auf den Punkt. Vielen Dank!

Wir waren mit meiner Mutter unterwegs und waren rundum zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Geschmackvolle Zimmer, leckeres Frühstück und ein besonders netter Service.

Wir sind bestens zufrieden: Der Fleischesser hatte einen Steakteller, an dem alles stimmte. Die Veganerin bekam vegane 'Königsberger Klopse' mit Kapernsoße. Beide Portionen waren mehr als reichlich und super 😋 Danke an die Küche und die freundliche, kompetente Bedienung!

Sehr lecker gegessen. Bratkartoffeln mit Sülze und vorweg eine Spargelcremsuppe. Beides sehr liebevoll angerichtet und gut abgeschmeckt.
