Holzkohlegrill in Salzgitter

Zero stars. Food tastes like plastic and employees are very rude. That's not possible!!!! I wouldn't even go out to eat there during the war.

Today we were at cafedelago, we sat nice and comfortably. The waitress came to our table (name Michel) and said really cheekily that we should get up from our seat. And that others will come. So that was very, very unpleasant for us to say in that tone! you don't. We wanted to get up and leave anyway.

I've been eating kebab for a long time but no such thing. I've never eaten such a bad kebab as there, the meat wasn't warm, it was cold and greasy, the bread wasn't crispy but totally soft. Two bites of the whole kebab fell apart, it was almost just salad in a kebab bag, so it was really bad, never again advise anyone against the kebab.

We often drive from Goslar to Salzgitter just to eat there. It is newly renovated inside and has a nice ambience, outside the terrace was newly built and makes a good impression, but a few large green plants could still be put up, as the formerly green hedge that separated the sidewalk is gone. So, with a little more green stuff, the 5th star in Ambiente would also come. The menu has different styles, such as poultry, pizza, schnitzel, etc. So far everything has tasted good, portions were always filling and the price is reasonably cheap. I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience. The last time I was there was at the end of December 2024. We had pork medallions in pepper sauce with vegetables and potato wedges. Super tender and juicy meat, very tasty, generous portions. Prices are almost all unchanged and low. Still 5 stars!
