Very tasty food, significantly better than the average vegan restaurant. I found it a bit expensive for the amount, but the quality is definitely there. You need to choose between 2 closed menus.

Our menus were super tasty, very creative and an inspiration for meat-free cooking. Even though I like to eat meat every now and then, I didn't miss it in this menu

Just to keep food expectations in check with the positive reviews: It's more than OK, but it's a bit lacking in freshness and a la minute, with only 2 menus you could work more creatively. But the place is wonderful, with a lot of attention to detail (due to the weather we ate inside), the service is fresh and friendly, the table culture could perhaps be improved a bit at this level. I wish you continued success, and if you haven't been there yet, you should give it a try!

The food was quite creative and highly recommended, especially for vegans, as you don't often find a multi-course menu like this. We liked the first course with the fig best, it was a 10/10! The whipped margarine with the bread was also very tasty, although a warmed bread would have been the cherry on the cake. The dessert wasn't bad either, only the two courses in between were missing a little more depth, we could have worked more with texture and generally added more components... we still had a very nice evening with good drinks and very nice service! The ambience is also very appealing and all in all I was missing a certain kick from the food, but the price-performance ratio was right. I'll definitely be back! :)

Delicious, high-quality food & great ambience. Very friendly and competent service, although they often didn't come by often enough. Unfortunately, when it came to drinks, we were left stranded for a short time.

Everything was perfect. Absolutely fantastic food, great service. The chef explicitly responded to all requests. The restaurant is also very stylishly decorated. We felt completely comfortable and simply had a great evening. Thanks for that!

The food is simply incredibly tasty and incredibly sophisticated! I'm not a vegan but I've still become a huge fan of Hohenheim & Söhne. Great food, great drinks and wine, but the service today was sometimes a bit clumsy. 😉

Given the quality, the slightly higher price is definitely justified. The dishes, which are all vegan in this establishment, tasted exquisite and were served very attractively. The aperitifs were also excellent. The service was rather reserved, friendly and extremely polite. Due to the price, which, mind you, might be higher elsewhere with comparable food and quality, it won't become my "go-to" restaurant, but it is definitely recommended for a nice occasion or if you want to treat yourself to something a little more refined.

The food was delicious and the cocktails were excellent. Unfortunately we were served bread and butter along with the starter and we didn't even have the drinks. We felt a little "dumped" because the dishes followed each other in quick succession. However, they responded kindly to our request to slow down a bit. The food made a lot of things better ;)

Full points. We were wonderfully accompanied through the evening. Both menus were delicious. Meat-free is fun and inspiring. We asked for wine accompaniment and were also given competent advice. The aesthetic ambience makes you feel comfortable and linger.

A very nice vegan restaurant in an old pharmacy. You can choose from two 4-course menus that change every two weeks, every course was excellent. The drinks also went great with the food. The service was friendly and attentive. A harmonious concept in a great location. We will definitely come back, highly recommended!

All I can say is that the food is to die for. Such taste experiences are rare, everything is well coordinated and beautifully decorated. There are two four-course menus to choose from. What the chef conjures up from vegetables and purely plant-based ingredients is simply brilliant. For me personally, the tables are too close together because you unintentionally overhear so much of the conversation from the neighboring tables. The temperature in the rooms could have been a little warmer for me. The portions are sufficient, but not generous or overloaded. The service was friendly, our coat was taken away upon arrival, and all of our wishes were fulfilled (e.g. dessert from the other menu). Since everything is freshly prepared, it takes a while for each course to arrive, so you should plan for that and just enjoy it. The atmosphere in an old pharmacy is wonderful. We'll definitely be back. We were so impressed by the food that we didn't even think about taking photos. Oh well, price-performance corresponds to the quality and prices are appropriate in my opinion.

The atmosphere was great. Stylishly decorated and it was quiet as there weren't too many tables. The service was great. Courteous, attentive and polite. The food was to die for. The combinations harmonized well with each other and there were great taste explosions. We are thrilled and would love to come back.

Really amazing vegan restaurant. The principle is easy: you have two menus and seasonal drinks to choose from. I’ve been there twice and each time the food and drink were really surprising and tasty. If you’re up to try out seasonal vegan cuisine, this is your place.

The 'Hohenheim and Sons' is a real treat for vegetarians, Vegans and anyone who loves delicious food. The menus are impressive and the preparation is simply first class. The ambience is inviting and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. An absolute must for anyone who wants to experience first-class vegan cuisine!

To put it mildly: I've been there more than once. And there are good reasons for that. Fantastic, creative, fresh vegan cuisine. Drinks that blow your mind (in terms of taste and in a different way if you want). Super friendly, approachable people, all down to earth - that's fun!

Vegan...I never thought vegan food would taste so wonderful. The dishes were all incredibly tasty, a real treat for the palate. The plates were all prepared to the highest standard. A feast for the eyes. A visit is also worth it if you are NOT VEGAN 😀

What a great restaurant! The food was incredibly tasty and the service was attentive, friendly and always in a good mood. The atmosphere is very nice and the price-performance ratio is great for the quality. If I come to Frankfurt again, I would like to spend an evening there again!

The food was exceptionally good. I expected a little more from the location, it was very loud in the main room and although I certainly appreciate the reduced equipment, the acoustics of the rooms could be improved a lot. We sat at small tables in the next room. I wanted to order the special wine accompaniment to the menu, but it was not available that day. However, the wine chosen tasted very good. The staff was very friendly, I just had real problems with the acoustics.

Tolle Location und sehr gutes vegane Restaurant. Die Aufmachung und Präsentation der Speisen ist sehr gut umgesetzt. Handwerklich sehr gelungenes Essen. Service ist zuvorkommen, diskret und sehr freundlich. Ein sehr gelungener Abend. Beide Menüs sind bestens zu empfehlen. Werden hier sicher wieder einmal zu Gast sein.

Das Restaurant ist eine große Bereicherung für unsere Stadt, die Region und darüber hinaus. Die dargebotenen Speisen erfüllen voll und ganz den Anspruch auf gehobene vegane Küche bei einem angemessenen, fairen Preis. Wir besuchen das Restaurant seit dessen Gründung und verfolgen mit großer Freude, wie es sich ständig weiterentwickelt und dabei immer wieder selbst übertrifft. Neben dem hervorragenden Essen sind auch die sensationellen Drinks zu erwähnen, die mit großer Liebe auch nach individuellen Wünschen auf den Tisch gezaubert werden. Das Restaurant bietet somit alles was das Herz begehrt und eigentlich fragt man sich danach, warum mann jemals Fleisch essen konnte.

Perfect vegan cuisine, yummy & creative, fair priced, good cocktails, stunning interior (old pharmacy shop).

Essen war wirklich ausgezeichnet. Leider war die Zeit zwischen den Gängen etwas lang aber das gute Essen hat die Wartezeit wieder weg gemacht.

Ein ausgesprochen schöner Abend mit Freunden. Tierleidfreies Essen, Service und Ambiente, alles hat gepasst. Hundefreundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Gern wieder.

Gestern spontan dort essen gewesen und ich bin begeistert! Leckeres Essen. Preislich angemessen im mittleren Segment. Der günstigste Wein kostet 9€ ist aber dann auch bereits sehr gut. Das essen: Tolle Abwechslung und von der Menge auch top. Der Gruß aus der Küche ist super leckeres Brot mit einer tollen Margarine. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Schönes Ambiente in einer schön sanierten alten Apotheke, sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service und köstliche, auch mal überraschende Speisen. Aktuell wohl immer drei wechselnde Vor- und Hauptspeisen sowie Desserts. Je Reservierung ein Zeitslot von 2 Stunden.

Super veganes Essen vom Feinsten, ein unvergesslicher Abend!

Wir hatten einen schönen, entspannten Abend hier. Das Essen war sehr gut abgestimmt, die Kellnerinnen waren super nett und der Barkeeper hat spontan eine super leckere alkoholfreie Variante des Cocktails gezaubert. Man sitzt draußen sehr schön in einem mit Pflanzen abgeschirmten Bereich. Insgesamt würde ich es mit dem Frea in Berlin vergleichen, wenn auch etwas kleiner und intimer. Falls man sich in Frankfurt zwischen Leutendroter und hier entscheiden will, würden wir was Essen, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und Atmosphäre (Clientel) angeht, das Hohenheim & Söhne jederzeit vorziehen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Stylish vegan restaurant mit chilige Innenhof. Das Essen ist nicht nur fürs Augen sondern auch sehr schön fürs Geschmack und Verdauung. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Cocktails. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend zu zweit im Außenbereich. Der Service war perfekt, nicht zu aufdringlich, nicht nachlässig. Das Essen war hervorragend, originell aber nicht zu abgedreht. Wir wurden von Vorspeise und Hauptgang auch ausreichend satt, so dass wir auf das Dessert verzichten mussten. Hier hätten wir uns über eine Menü-Option gefreut. Wir hatten verschiedene Cocktails, die ebenfalls außerordentlich gut waren. Alles in allem ein sehr runder Abend, wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Das Essen war meines Erachtens lecker (aber sehr kleine Portionen!) aber irgendwie hatten wir einen flauen Magen und Verstopfung im Anschluss, obwohl meine Lebensabschnittsgefährtin und ich unterschiedliche Speisen bestellt haben. (Vielleicht hatte sich jemand in der Küche hier nicht die Hände gewaschen;)… Meiner Dame hatte die Speise überhaupt nicht geschmeckt (aber sie ist da auch manchmal etwas schwierig…) Auch der Service war etwas neben der Spur und wollte uns darüber informieren, dass das Essen gleich kommt obwohl wir schon gegessen hatten…. #confused PS: Die Vorspeisen sind genauso groß wie die Hauptspeise und kosten 4 € weniger, da kann man noch eine müde Mark sparen. Ein wirklich gutes Restaurant welches sich auf Veganes Essen spezialisiert hat. Sobald man das Restaurant Betritt fällt einem sofort auf dass es mal eine alte Apotheke war, dieser urige scharm blieb gut erhalten. Leider war die Luft fast genauso alt, es war sehr stickig und auch laut. Letzteres kann an den fehlenden Vorhängen gelegen haben. Es ist davon abgesehen sehr angenehm und bietet einen tollen Service. Dieser war zwar streckenweise sehr zurückhaltend aber immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war gut bis sehr gut. Das wirklich besondere haben wir aber vergeblich gesucht. Die Karten ist überschaubar und wechselt regelmäßig.

Das Gesamtpaket aus sehr freundlichen und bemühten Servicefachkräften, gemütlichem Ambiente und famosem Essen ist einfach rundum empfehlenswert. Die Speisen wechseln wöchentlich, von daher sind die Bilder nur als Beispielhaft zu sehen.

Tolle Location, aber Preis/Leistung hat mich nicht überzeugt. Das Essen ist bemüht kreativ zu sein, aber es fehlt das gewisse Etwas (auch um den Preis zu rechtfertigen). Der Service war leider überfordert - es war jemand ausgefallen. Das hätte am Anfang mitgeteilt werden sollen, dann wäre es ja nur halb so schlimm. Allerdings wurde uns das erst nach vergessenem Essen und fehlenden Getränken mitgeteilt. Schade.
