Terrible, waited an hour for pasta

A very nice restaurant, we received very friendly service and had a lovely evening.

As an experience, it's good. I liked the pizza with truffle oil, but the quattro formaggi was made with German cheese, which made it weird, and the dish with black pasta was too fatty, but tasty according to my friend's taste. Also, keep in mind that the kitchen won't be particularly fast. The price is good, though.

Bianca rocks the place with incredible charm, energy, and a smile that doesn't disappear even when the house is full – and her husband is in the kitchen, conjuring up what is probably the best Italian food for miles around. ❤️ The food is consistently fantastic and made with love. Highly recommended: – the avocado bruschetta, perfect with fresh tomatoes and basil – the homemade focaccia, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside – the fish antipasti, fresh, Mediterranean, and beautifully presented For the main course, be sure to try the lasagna – creamy, flavorful, perfectly gratinated – or one of the pizzas, which are truly outstanding. You can even customize the pizza dough – a detail you'll hardly find anywhere else. The two happy hours are also a real highlight: 🍕 Pizza Happy Hour daily from 5:00–6:00 p.m. 🍸 Aperitivo & Cocktail Happy Hour daily from 4:00–6:00 p.m. And yes – sometimes it takes a little longer for the food to arrive. But that's simply because Bianca and her husband often run the entire place together. In return, you always get a smile, genuine hospitality, and, ultimately, a meal that exceeds all expectations. Everything just fits here: atmosphere, quality, warmth, and that typically Italian feeling of being welcomed. A small family business with a big heart and enormous taste. I've rarely had such mixed feelings about an Italian restaurant as I did at Höfler's 5. You arrive, and the ambiance is truly compelling. Everything is lovingly decorated, there are plenty of plants outside, and the seating throughout is very comfortable. Then you look at the menu, and you're brought back down to earth, because some of the prices are truly exorbitant. To get away with it halfway, we took advantage of the pizza happy hour, where you get two identical pizzas for the price of one. Bianca and her husband are very friendly, but the waiter didn't really impress us. He simply lacked friendliness and professionalism. The pizzas were among the best we've eaten this year. I also have to praise the salad, because the dressing was simply top-notch. The wine selection left nothing to be desired. In the end, however, we were disappointed again because this restaurant only accepts cash payments. Conclusion: A small culinary journey with a high degree of ambivalence.

Great food, great service! If you value quality, taste, and organic produce, this is the place for you, but it's not for those on a tight budget. Bring time to enjoy. 😊 We'd love to go back!

The gluten-free pizza dough is okay, but not outstanding. On the other hand, the toppings are very high quality and plentiful. The service was very friendly and warned us right from the start that it might take a bit longer. So we were warned in advance, which I appreciated. However, the restaurant was far from full. Therefore, it was really incomprehensible why we had to wait over an hour for our food. Furthermore, we weren't asked for more drinks once and had to ask for the bill several times. We still had a lovely evening, but we won't always have that much time. Furthermore, the prices are a bit too high, despite the organic quality. We paid almost €50 per person, including three drinks. From my experience in the restaurant industry, a smaller menu and a more experienced kitchen team would certainly help deliver the quality and service you'd expect for these prices. Edit: And now every review that doesn't give 5 stars is being commented on with this strange advertisement. Are you serious?

Unfortunately, we waited too long for the food. "A total of 40 minutes for two pizzas, even though there weren't many customers." The Regina pizza was rather bland in taste.

I would have loved to try the food and drinks, but after being politely seated, we were ignored for over 20 minutes. Even though it really wasn't busy, I couldn't understand why we should have at least been asked for something to drink. Unfortunately, we left without having had anything to eat.

We were only there briefly because my daughter needed to go to the bathroom. We saw the amazing espresso machine and quickly grabbed a Dopio. My daughter got a free apple spritzer, and they even made a mini pizza for us on the house – amazing – a typical old-school restaurant – the pizza was amazing and the restaurant looks fantastic. Seems like a nice place, but there was a long wait for two glasses of Proceco and two overcooked Angus steaks. Arrived at 8 p.m. and left at 10:15 p.m. due to a staff shortage, not to mention they don't take credit cards. I won't be going back.

Unfortunately, it wasn't our taste. The food was really expensive and nothing special, the service was annoying, and we waited over an hour for our food. After asking for some bread, we were given three slices for six people.

The pizza and pasta were very good. However, my salad was a bit underseasoned, and the chicken (as requested) had been swapped for salmon. The ambiance was fine. The service, however, left a lot to be desired: we had no option to order dessert (there was none available). Two espressos never arrived. Payment was only possible in cash.

We spontaneously got a seat on Saturday evening. The service was very friendly and attentive, something you don't experience very often these days. All the dishes were of excellent quality and tasted excellent. The wine list was very extensive and the wine advice was excellent. The wine we selected was also very good. A truly successful evening; we'll definitely be back.

A complete disappointment, never again. The good reviews really impress me. I've never had to wait an hour and 40 minutes for a regular pizza in my entire life! Even though it was almost deserted, with only three tables occupied, the staff is very slow and unattentive. The pizza looks and tastes no better than a cheap frozen pizza. We happened upon Höflers 5, and despite not having a reservation, we were served promptly and in a friendly manner. A menu with a wide variety of dishes. The spelt pizza was excellent, with lots of delicious organic products that you can actually taste. The homemade tiramisu was highly recommended. A great evening, we'll be back. Thank you for this.

We had a great time. The pizzas are very good with reasonable prices and the service is really impeccable. The waitress even spoke French with us, she was very nice. We highly recommend this restaurant. Kudos to them for the work and the atmosphere of this restaurant!

A truly charming organic restaurant serving Italian cuisine of the highest quality. The food is fresh, flavorful, and prepared with obvious care using high-quality, organic ingredients. We had pizza for dinner, which tasted simply amazing. You can even choose between whole-wheat or light-wheat pizza dough. The service was attentive and courteous, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A place you'd happily recommend and would happily visit again.

Unfortunately, we have to agree with the negative reviews. The menu sounded very promising and the prices were very high, so our expectations were just as high. Contrary to the menu, however, there was suddenly no stone-baked pizza available, and we couldn't choose the dough ourselves. After waiting for an hour, we finally got two pizzas that unfortunately resembled frozen goods (type of topping, burnt base, extremely greasy). We expected much more in terms of taste, given that everything was advertised as being made with organic ingredients. We pointed this out to the waitress, who was friendly, but there was no price concession or anything like that. All in all, very disappointing, and we wouldn't recommend it.

A disaster! We waited over 1.5 hours for our pizza. We were constantly put off, told "it'll be right there." When the pizza finally arrived, it tasted no better than a frozen pizza from Aldi. We were completely disappointed. The staff didn't even offer a sorry or even a small apology; they just looked away in shame. I can't recommend this restaurant at all.

First of all: I suspect I was there on the wrong day, and I was so happy to have found a restaurant that focuses entirely on organic food. 2 stars alone are due for the courage to operate this in Bavaria. The food was great. The salad was truly delicious, and the pizza was super crispy, cooked to perfection, and made with fresh ingredients. Unfortunately, I lost my appetite after waiting for over an hour. The service, a grumpy waitress who called the woman in front of my table a "hoits Mei" and threw napkins at the next table to save himself the trip, should be taken with a pinch of humor. Especially since the numerous collisions with flowerpots reminded me of Dinner for One. I'll chalk it up to character. The friendliness was apparently lost in the chaos today. Payment at the table wasn't possible, which is completely incomprehensible, since card payments weren't possible today. A shame. Delicious but disappointing.

It's a nice little Italian restaurant with very friendly service, which leaves guests completely satisfied. The meal began with a welcome from the kitchen. The food is always freshly cooked (which means there's a bit of a wait) and uses only organic products. It tasted wonderful – we had both pasta and pizza, which was huge and well-topped. You can enjoy delicious cocktails, and there are various happy hours throughout the evening. The only thing to note is that it's quite expensive – you have to be willing to pay for a pizza for €28. Therefore, we ate from the "specials menu." This is the only reason we deducted one point. Otherwise, we highly recommend this restaurant.

Wunderbar! What this husband and wife team are doing is nothing short of outstanding. I highly recommend trying this place out. The food is first class and everything is organic. The mushroom soup I had to start was the best I've had anywhere, full of flavour and perfectly seasoned. Then, the mushroom and truffle pizza was incredible. A wide variety of mushrooms and just enough truffle as not to overpower the flavour. As a foreign traveller I appreciated that they spoke English and were very accommodating. I will definitely be back when I am in the area.

The prices are completely exorbitant at €23.90 for a pizza – organic or not. Other pizzerias in town also offer organic quality, and at much fairer prices. The pizza was disappointing in terms of taste and could in no way justify the high price. The service is very friendly, but the owner Bianca unfortunately reacts to criticism in a very unprofessional manner. If you want to assert yourself in the catering industry, you should be able to deal with feedback more confidently - especially if the taste is not to everyone's taste.

Unfortunately, our visit to this Italian restaurant in Bad Tölz did not convince us. The prices are completely exorbitant - a simple Diavolo pizza for €23.90 is difficult to understand, even given the location. It was also disappointing that the pizzas were not baked in a stone or wood oven, which is what you would expect at these prices. The ambience seemed artificial and overloaded, so there was no cozy atmosphere. The beer selection was particularly disappointing, as it was very poor and did not live up to the standards of a good restaurant. The pizza itself was OK, but definitely nothing special. A small ray of hope was the friendly and fast service - at least you felt like you were in good hands here. Still, we would definitely go somewhere else for a good Italian experience.

I had a really nice evening at Höfler 5 - even though I was there alone, I felt really comfortable. The food was really tasty and made with love. I would particularly like to highlight the service: She looked after all the guests in an absolutely professional manner and with full commitment. My greatest respect for that – she was friendly, attentive and simply great! Also a thank you to the little support she had - the interaction was great. What I find particularly nice is that there is something for everyone here. Whether vegan, vegetarian, without pork or with pork – everything is taken into consideration. This makes the store not only delicious, but also welcoming and open to everyone. And to everyone who thinks the price is too high: If you don't value quality and genuine service, you can continue to go to McDonald's. In any case, I would love to come back!

We ate a starter, a main course and a dessert and were completely thrilled. High quality, fresh and everything organic. In addition, the manager in service was very attentive and friendly. It's a shame we don't live nearby, otherwise we would definitely be here regularly - definitely recommended!

I was there for the third time last night. I really enjoyed the food. Very fresh and tasty. The boss was very attentive and professional. The ambience is quite inviting from the outside. Cakes and tarts prepared with so much love. With organic ingredients. Bianca and her team are so hospitable, we always come from the far north to Hoflers 5 twice a year and are always thrilled. Unfortunately the opening times for cake eating were postponed so late, that would be the only small flaw.

I just have to give a positive review because I love this restaurant, the service and especially the food. The pizzas are incredibly delicious and the organic ingredients are of the highest quality. I think it's particularly great that you can also choose the type of organic dough when choosing a pizza; there are about five different versions. The price is a little higher, but when you consider that only high-quality products are used and how much effort is put into every detail, it is absolutely justified. The ambience is also beautiful and the staff is exceptionally friendly. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Super friendly service, listens to you, clean and forthcoming. Unfortunately we couldn't try the food because the chef came from Augsburg, but from what we heard it was very good.

If you're willing to put in enough time, you'll be rewarded with a huge, freshly prepared, well-topped pizza made from the highest quality organic ingredients. Top: There are 4 different types of dough to choose from and 3 different cheeses, including vegan mozzarella. A warm, feel-good atmosphere completes the experience.

The quality of the food is exceptionally good and definitely cannot be found anywhere else. Bianca and her husband are born hosts who are always in a good mood and serve their guests with their utmost attention. Longer waiting times are always announced and I have to say that no matter how long the waiting time is, the food is definitely always worth it. You can really order anything here and you will never be disappointed. The pizzas and pasta dishes are unbeatable. Not to forget, even if you just want a coffee and a piece of cake, you'll get your money's worth here. The cuisine selection is diverse and all are homemade. wir waren die Tage beim Höfler, eigentlich wollten wir woanders hin aber wir haben uns leider verlaufen. Auf den ersten Blick macht das Lokal einen schönen Eindruck. Es ist auch schön, dort zu sitzen, eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Erschüttert waren wir von den Preisen. Es ist zwar alles unter dem Siegel Bio, es gibt also Getränke, schlecht gemischte Aperitif und Pizza sowie Nudeln zu Preisen, dass ich auch nach New York fliegen könnte zum Essen. Ein Beispiel eine Portion Spaghetti Bolognese mit Bio Zertifizierung kostet sage und schreibe 30 €, da sind in echt 60 DM für eine Portion. Ich hab eine Pizza gegessen und meine beiden Begleiter, auch, wobei 19 € mindestens für eine Pizza schon ein stolzer Preis ist, auch wenn es bio Lebensmittel sind. Da muss ich nicht mehr hin. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht das ist das einzig positive an der Bude. Ansonsten gebe ich diesem Lokal keine lange Überlebenschance.

We were there without a reservation with a person with intolerance. After explaining that gluten-free cooking was only possible upon reservation, there were food suggestions so that we could order gluten-free. Great service, delicious food and a lovely ambience gave us a wonderful evening.

We recently went there for dinner with our friends and were unfortunately very disappointed with the service. We had to wait 2 hours for our appetizer and 2 1/2 hours for our pizzas. We actually only ordered the starters because we were told they would come out much quicker than the pizzas, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. While our drink order was being taken, the doorbell rang from the kitchen and our waitress simply ran away. Unfortunately it took a very long time until she came back to take our drinks. What made it all better was the food, which was really, really good. Top quality and the portion sizes are also very sufficient. We were particularly impressed by the large organic selection. We will definitely give the restaurant another chance because there was only one waitress working that day.

Yes, the prices are higher than in a conventional pizzeria, but every ingredient is organic and many are locally sourced or sustainably sourced. Which justifies the price. We'll be back :)

Lovely spot! We walked here from our hotel. The wait staff spoke great English and helped us find what we wanted. The salad was unbelievably good, fresh, and tasty with an excellent combination of fresh vegetables, fruit and nuts. This was the perfect spot after a night at Oktoberfest.

A first and probably last visit to this restaurant, why? The very young service staff were simply too inattentive and too slow, and there was only one person working in the kitchen and that on a Saturday evening. It took 30 minutes for the order to be taken, the pizzas then took over an hour. We were told twice when we asked that the pizzas were now being processed or already in the oven and even after the last information it took another 20 minutes to eat. Unfortunately, the glasses, which had now been emptied, were ignored by the young ladies and even after ordering the second round it took so long that we were almost finished with the pizzas, even though there wasn't much going on at that point, well after 10 p.m. The pizzas themselves were tasty, but in my opinion didn't do justice to the high price. For over €23 I'm already in the range of a decent meat dish. The atmosphere was nice and it was pleasant to sit under large umbrellas. In total we were there from 8:30 p.m. to almost 11 p.m. Just too long for a quick pizza. And if as a guest I have to ask where my food/drink is, something is simply wrong and unfortunately I only feel valued for my money. And if people are now threatening to use a blanket lawyer's club again, it's better to ask yourself what could be improved instead of pointing out inaccurate criminal offenses. Something like that disqualifies the owner/tenant.

Rich pizza varieties, homemade pasta, good wine selection in a very lovingly furnished atmosphere. The pizza is priced a little higher, but has a diameter of 30cm and all ingredients and toppings are organic! The taste is incredibly delicious. The young owners work hard for their customers and stand behind the counter or at the oven. At the end there was a nightcap. Unreservedly recommended! You can spend a lovely, relaxing evening here in a lovingly decorated outdoor area. All ingredients are organic. The pizzas were fantastic, as was the tiramisu. Great wine list, some vegan and wines that you don't get in every restaurant. We were even told a little anecdote about the wine. The staff is very friendly and takes their time with customers. Everything is great.

Unfortunately we had to wait 2 hours for our food. After about an hour of waiting, we decided to end the evening somewhere else and wanted to pay. The restaurant manager then assured us that the food would be ready soon. But “immediately” is apparently a flexible term and so it took another hour. We could understand the fact that there was a lot of activity, but keeping a guest waiting for so long and getting them to stay with false information unfortunately ruined our evening. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant.

Very nice owners and service staff, very contemporary selection of food and drinks (lots of non-alcoholic drinks, including non-alcoholic cocktails, consideration for allergies, etc.). All dishes are sustainable and also available as nutritious spelled alternatives. Absolutely great. To the owners: Maybe you could buy pasta in addition to homemade pasta. The homemade version is not suitable for everyone. I would still keep the latter. The only drawback: The lack of service staff is also noticeable here, support in the kitchen and service would certainly be very welcome.

Really great restaurant! We came across it on our vacation because of the vegan offerings. We really like the family and sustainable concept. There is very, very tasty organic food; everything is fresh and as regional as possible. The service is perfect and we didn't have to wait long at all.

I had the best vegan mushroom pizza here. All pizzas can be made with vegan mozzarella and all ingredients are organic and local. Dogs are welcome and the owners are upmost friendly. The food and the quality are definitely worth the price. We will come back for more.

Die guten Bewertungen bei Google haben mich in dieses Restaurant geführt. Leider wurde ich enttäuscht. Die angebotenen Pizzen und Pastagerichte sind extrem teuer, über 20 € für eine Pizza sind der Regelfall.. Dies lässt sich auch durch die angeblichen Bio-Zutaten nicht rechtfertigen. Auch geschmacklich war meine Pizza eine große Enttäuschung - reichlich belegt, aber fade und langweilig. Das Personal war zwar um guten Service bemüht, wirkte aber sehr gestresst und schien unter Druck zu stehen. Ein Mann, vermutlich der Besitzer, saß die ganze Zeit an einem leeren Tisch und beobachte die die Gäste, während er dem Personal Anweisungen gab. Wie die guten Bewertungen bei Google zu Stande kommen, kann man erkennen, wenn man sich die dortigen Bewertungen durchliest. Auf jede Form von Kritik wird sofort mit der Drohung mit einem Anwalt reagiert, und bei Google wird die Löschung der Rezensionen beantragt. Das Lokal sollte gemieden werden.

We were well looked after. The food tasted great and we were thrilled with the starter and the pizza. The dough was very thin and crispy. And there wasn't that much cheese on the pizza either, that's how it has to be. Please keep it up.

We came across the restaurant spontaneously because we wanted to eat ice cream. Unfortunately we had already eaten dinner beforehand otherwise we would have loved to eat a dark pizza. Since the waiting time was a little longer that day due to a lack of staff and the training of a new colleague, we got an espresso on the house. The staff was extremely friendly and tried very hard. The atmosphere was very appealing and at the end we had a very nice conversation with the owner. We will definitely come back on our next vacation!

Very nice pizzeria with very tasty food and a great team! We felt very comfortable! If good, organic food is important to you, you can't miss this shop!
