We would be here for the Ü40 Oktoberfest. Was super great. Very good band.

We had a lovely evening with a schnitzel buffet at the table. Drinks came quickly and the food was great! Chicken and pork schnitzel were not clearly separated and my Muslim colleague had to wait a while for chicken schnitzel but it was also very busy.

Despite making a reservation online, no table was reserved. But a possibility was found. Both dishes chosen were of good quality. For my personal taste, my boiled beef could have been better seasoned. The quality of the meat was very good and the side dishes were cooked excellently. It was quite noisy due to the large number of guests.

Four of us had dinner there last night. The ambience and food were very, very good, and the waiting time was absolutely reasonable. Unfortunately the service was not convincing. We were ignored for a long time, no further questions were asked as to whether everything was OK or whether we would like to drink something else, despite the glasses being empty. The waitresses only paid attention to the tables around us and when they were with us there were pat answers and the waitress saying she would rather be dead. We would have liked to drink more and eat dessert there, but we decided to leave early. It's a shame, we probably won't come back. The food was packed including the eaten leftovers.

Unfortunately the suckling pig and the ox packages were not edible. Unfortunately, the waitress had no interest in finding out what was wrong with the food. We also had to go to the counter several times to even be served.

Very tasty food with large portions. Price-performance more than convincing. Great and entertaining service from Donyay. Big compliment, we'd love to come back.

As a southern German, I can only say that this is where you get your home. The food is like ours, the beer is at the right temperature and the waiters Dunya, Cathy, Carsten and Geri are the absolute best. To all the southern Germans out there: It's a shame here

I can highly recommend this place. I particularly liked the ambience and the good service. The food was very tasty, but the portion was a bit too big for me. But the restaurant can't do anything about it.

Food was good 👍 Unfortunately, you have to get your own food from upstairs when you sit in the beer garden. I think that's a shame, especially when 3 waiters are standing at the counter at the time and have nothing to do. If the store was full, I could still understand that.

Where do I start here, I had high promises. The chicken burger had a mango chutney inside which totally didn't fit the tomatoes and type of bun. The potato chips on the other hand were one of the best I've had. The schnitzel was really boring, and way too thick, together with the fried potatoes the dish became a boring meal if you compare it to the dish from Vienna, lacking in flavor and crispiness. Now the Spätzle with Hoaxes meat. Usually something very delicious in a beautiful fit with red cabbage, but at this location adding krupuk (prawn cracker) felt so missed in place, as well as the small weirdly shaped tomatoes. The harmony of the dish didn't fit together to this salty (slightly over salted) hoax pan. I can recommend the Stiegl Beer, which had a nice sweeter note to traditional beer you would find in northern Germany. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for such a beautiful ambience inside this forestry style. For eating the potato chips, I'd probably come back, the rest needs improvement!

Usually the food is good. Sitting in the beer garden, hungry. Drinks are available, but you have to get food from above. That wouldn't be a problem, but the food isn't available from the beer garden. If it had perhaps been possible to write downstairs in the beer garden, I would have sat on the terrace. So I don't come here anymore. I wanted a beer garden and also the food from the beer garden. I can always eat anything here. Therefore 0 stars

The food was sometimes good, sometimes not. Cooking the steak to perfection didn't work. The card says "caressed by hand". One was so raw that it was happy to be stroked further. It was different when I ordered it... Unfortunately, after it went back it didn't come back much better. The chef still has to practice. The crème brûlée was a disgrace. An approximately 3mm thick layer on a coaster was not worth the money. The service was friendly and mostly quick.

We celebrated our wedding at the Hofbräu on Wilhelmshöhe on August 23rd, 2024 and it was perfect from start to finish! Absolutely good food, top service, great ambience. There was always a contact person on site and all requests were taken into account. We would celebrate our wedding here again and again and can only recommend it to everyone. Thank you dear team - for an unforgettable and wonderful wedding. 🤍

We were here today for all you can eat spare ribs, the food was great! Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. Waiting 25 minutes for a second helping, no question as to whether you would like something more to drink and the highlight, as long as you were waiting for the food you wanted to clear your plates!! The bill came after repeated requests after a little over half an hour. But something else positive: the atmosphere is great 👍

My wife and I had the pleasure of sitting on the terrace of this wonderful restaurant and it was a thoroughly great experience. As soon as we entered we were warmly welcomed and the entire service staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Despite many guests, our drinks and food came quickly. As a starter we had prawns, which were not only visually appealing but also tasted excellent. Our main courses, schnitzel with fried potatoes and a knuckle pan with spaetzle and red cabbage, were both a culinary delight. The schnitzel was tender, the breading was nicely cross, and the knuckle was tender and juicy. At the end there was a crème brûlée, which was also very tasty. All in all, it was a very worthwhile visit and we always enjoy coming here. Absolute recommendation!

Wir waren mit ca. 10 Personen dort. Dabei hatte die Bedienung wohl ein Gericht zuviel notiert. Der Wirt schmiss der Teller dann vor uns auf den Tisch, eine andere Bedienung haben wir dann gebeten die Speise wieder abzuräumen. Bei solch einem Benehmen vergeht einem schnell der Appetit. Zum Essen, deftig, fettig mit Soßen aus der Packung. Schnitzel aus der Fritteuse und Käse drauf. Schwammerl waren ganze Champignons aus der Dose / Glas. Kurzum, frische Produkte gibt’s wohl nur beim Salat.

Every day there is one bad band after another. You can't even relax in peace on Thursdays because it's loud there every damn day. Everything for people who like to pour themselves within the week, mind you.

At a graduation ball, charging young people such high costs for drinks is crazy, e.g. a box of Veltins for €0.33.68 🫣 and being forced to buy drinks cards when there were only 2 to choose from. Price performance ratio missed.

Unfortunately not satisfactory. Didn't get a table despite booking. The salad down in the beer garden isn't like the one up in the Hofbräu. Too bad it was disappointing this time. I actually always enjoyed being here.

Very nice Bavarian hofbrau restaurant with great beer and good food. I drank a wheat wine today that was really great! I come back here often! Just as good as the main branch!

Unfortunately, the roast pork was very dry and there was little sauce (although someone in our group ordered it and received it without any problems). The accompanying bread dumplings were also dry and tough. The service was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is quite nice, and above all you can have a pleasant conversation despite the size of the place.

It can be so different: I had a big birthday party at the beginning of winter. The food was tasty, but unfortunately the service staff was a bit overwhelmed with 15 people. Some menus were missing after ordering. Even when ordering drinks there was chaos. Wrong drinks, long waits for some drinks and thus toasting with misplaced beer,... The same with dessert. It was probably a bad time with semi-skilled or unskilled staff. However, in May 2024: great service on Sunday with a full house at the asparagus buffet, simply delicious. The staff did a great job: fast, friendly and clean. Class!!!

Supplement 2024: Everything is going great so far this season! From the reliability to the service and the food to the “draw speed” there’s nothing to complain about ☺️ That’s why I’m happy to change my rating 👍🏻 That was in 2023: Apparently the beer garden is only open occasionally and randomly. This was the second time we found ourselves in front of “closed doors” despite the best weather, even though the company said it was supposed to be open. We won't try it again 😒

When Hofbräuhaus opened, we were happy to go there more often. Food was ok, portions good, pretzel sprayed with butter and warm. There is also a stand outside with snacks (currywurst, salads, etc.). Now the impressions from the last 2 years: Small portions e.g. veal schnitzel. Bretzels without butter (pretzels from yesterday). Quality gone, money saved. It's clear that it has also become more expensive, but why save on the quality and size of the portions, I pay for then you won't even get full. Gastronomy is destroying itself. When taxes were reduced, this was not passed on to customers. I enjoyed being a regular there, but certainly not anymore. Where are the all-you-can-eat suckling pig events? Greetings Andre

We celebrated our wedding at Wilhelmshöhe last weekend and are very, very satisfied. The ambience, service and also the food left nothing to be desired! The preliminary discussions were really nice and uncomplicated. If we had any questions, we always received a very quick answer. An absolute recommendation as a wedding location!

Great beer garden with small dishes

Went there yesterday for the asparagus buffet and it was very, very good. The staff was very nice and the food was simply great. A huge compliment also to the kitchen for serving buffet and ala carte at the same time. Not every company does this anymore these days. Price for food and drinks was more than fair. This is how I imagine a good restaurant.

Es war eine gute Wahl, hier mit unseren Gästen aus den USA einzukehren. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und vor allem schnell. Die Getränke standen in kürzester Zeit auf dem Tisch. Das Essen war qualitativ gut und reichlich und auch bezahlbar. Es gibt tatsächlich ein Wiener Schnitzel (vom Kalb) - für die Region die absolute Ausnahme. Wir haben nichts zu kritisieren- im Gegenteil: Wir kommen wieder und das sehr bald..
