The food was very tasty, in generous portions. The service was friendly but not very attentive. The majority of the clientele are advanced seniors. You can drink wine from your own winery and also shop. All in all, a dignified country inn.

We have been going to the Nürnberger Hof for probably 20 years. The view, to say it in advance, is the key and the reason why you go here. It used to be a very popular tourist restaurant. People were carted there in buses. The waitresses were very enthusiastic and you could still sit downstairs under the arcades. Unfortunately there are no more waitresses now. The “boss” has now taken over this. And I can only agree with the previous speakers' one point: You can't beat it when it comes to unfriendliness and rudeness!! In addition, in recent months, the calculations have been incorrect - basically something is added or the price of a product miraculously increases by 35%. Unbelievable. If this hadn't happened several times now, I wouldn't mention it. In their opinion, if you don't tip properly, the rudeness becomes even worse. The lady has a way of making you feel like you have to apologize for taking up her valuable time. Every little thing causes you to get an unkind comment from her. Very annoying. You don't feel welcome. That's the worst. As the previous speakers mentioned, the bill is scribbled on a piece of paper. The tax office will thank you! Especially after prices have risen unearthly in the past few months! For three, 80 euros for three dishes and four drinks isn't exactly cheap. We also paid that in high-priced Scandinavia. And the furnishings are actually from the 80s. So be it: If the view wasn't so beautiful, nobody would probably go there anymore. Really a shame. You can do this differently too.

Went here again after a few years in the hope that both the service and the ambience, apart from the view, had improved. If I had read the reviews here beforehand, it would have been clear that this wasn't the case and I could have saved the visit. The seating in the outdoor area is still dirty hardware store chairs, probably from the 80s, which still looked fresh compared to the tables, which, given their condition, must have come from the 70s. The drinks were picked up and brought quickly. However, the waiting time of almost 60 minutes after placing the order was far too long and annoying for the food. The schnitzel and half of the chicken were ok and good, the fries served with them were also ok, but very sparse. The fact that card payments, not even debit cards, are still not possible here in 2024 is crazy. The bill was also written down and settled on a narrow handout, as was the case 40 years ago. The request for a correct hospitality bill was greeted rudely and resulted in another waiting period, so I gave up and left in frustration without one. The tax office certainly has a lot of fun here.

Unfriendly service, food was okay, view was pretty, furnishings outdated. No card payment is an absolute no-go in 2024.

The location of the outdoor dining area with a wide view over the Rhine Valley is truly unique. The food was very decent, but there was now a single waitress for the entire outside area. It really worked hard, but there were waiting times that were difficult to accept, which somewhat spoiled the overall impression...

The view is wonderful, but that's about it! Anyone who values ​​a welcome, bon appetit, did you enjoy it or said goodbye is in the wrong place. We waited almost 20 minutes before we could even order. We were then fobbed off in a mushy manner. After we ordered we had to wait 40 minutes for our starter, which was just a ready-made broth with mushy noodles that was only lukewarm. The worst came with the main course. The core of the hand cheese was still very white. After our complaint the “chief waitress” came? and pointed out to us very rudely that the hand cheese was a natural product and that they had just opened a fresh box and that they all had these quality characteristics. We should just order something different. After this statement we were "full" and didn't order anything new. There was no apology from her. When we left the restaurant we actually wanted to go to the toilet, but unfortunately the smell of urine stopped us. Nevertheless the view was very nice!!!!!

The service is not recommended and can hardly be surpassed in terms of unfriendliness. I never thought I would have to write something like that. It took at least half an hour until we had our hand cheese with music. There was also a larger piece of plastic in there. The furniture is getting old and the only good thing about this location is the incredibly beautiful view down to the Rhine and the surrounding towns/vineyards. There is also plenty of parking space.

The menu may be a bit small, but the food is really good. The chef knows his craft, because the fried potatoes and the side salad are first-class. The view of Mainz is great.

The only good thing about this place is the beautiful view, otherwise it's a bust. A completely overwhelmed, unfriendly service that gives you the feeling that you are not really welcome as a guest. The Hessian. Speciality, hand cheese with music, an impertinence... two small rolls of Harzer in a greasy vinegar-oil mixture, with 2 small slices of gray bread, a packet of butter that runs away... carelessly onto the plate clapped, for €7.50. A disappointment, absolutely not recommended.

On Sunday June 9th, 2024, 1:30 p.m. we (three adults and one child) visited the Nuremberg farm in Frauenstein. The staff were very busy and walked past us endlessly without paying attention to us or asking what we wanted. I brought the glasses from the previous guests to the counter myself. After speaking to the waiter we were able to order the drinks. Then I asked for 3 menus (for 3 of us) and was told that there was one for each table in the morning. Grumpily we received a card (for the 3 of us). My grandson, who is almost 2 years old, was running around bored and hungry and when the waitress wanted to go to another table I was told to move him out of the way. There were only two children's chairs outside and inside and they were occupied. When the long-ordered drinks didn't appear, I spoke to the gentleman at the counter (probably the owner). He recommended MC Donald to me and told me about the staff shortage. Insolent and without insight or apology. Then another guest appeared behind me and complained about the “service”. Then the waitress appeared and I repeated our drink requests again. First order was totally lost. I also ordered the food. The little one was very hungry and tired after 1.5 hours. The mushroom pan I ordered (approx. 17 euros) was a vegetable pan with 2 small mushrooms. The waitress also had many excuses for this, such as too many guests, etc. I then asked for the bill in the dining room and the waitress appeared at the table promptly. €58.80. I gave €60 and was asked if I wanted change. I politely said yes and received the money. What did the lady (probably the owner) expect with such service. Tipping is given for good performance and I have no problem with that. The bill was a handwritten note, passed by the tax office. Other guests were also “harassed” because they asked for bills or wanted to place orders but didn’t have a piece of paper to write down. After 2 hours we left the Nürnberger Hof Frauenstein and will definitely not appear again.

We had pre-ordered cake for 12 people. A piece of cake was moldy - the plate was then replaced. Another type of cake was fermented - the lady then paid us back €10 when she noticed it. The leftover kitchen items had been packed up for us, but to be on the safe side no one wanted to eat them anymore. Overall expensive for cakes of poor quality. The ambience inside isn't particularly great either.

We stopped here this afternoon after the first part of our hike through the vineyards. Sat outside on the terrace. Unfortunately the chairs are a bit uncomfortable because they are plastic. Service very nice. We ordered juice spritzer, asparagus cream soup and minced steak with fries. Unfortunately there was no bread with the soup and the portion was quite small. The minced steak came in the form of 2 meatballs, breaded very crispy and with fried onions. The fries still needed time and the sauce was canned. So it was good

The boss was very unfriendly. Almost wanted to leave again.

Overwhelmed boss (waitress). With 5 tables occupied, menu and drinks only after 30 minutes After a good hour there was also something to eat. The food was good overall. When there was criticism, the boss was hospitable and histarian. After 2 hours we managed to pay. Bye bye but then the husband or boss was sent out at the back so that he could do the same I was able to say another stupid thing. Great restaurateurs, friendliness can be done differently.

Great half chicken. Competent service, gladly again and nice boss. Wines excellent and inexpensive.

Good food, good view, gladly again

Just ordered a quick fried potato and scrambled eggs for my daughter today. The original dish comes with bacon and salad for €10.50. Daughter didn't want bacon, no problem. Salad was not brought. I complained about this when paying; I then had to listen to an outpouring of costs regarding the creation of the fried potatoes. Incidentally, the side salad is shown on the menu as €4.50. Which I would have expected to be deducted. I was only deducted 0.50 cents. The service person or boss was totally unfriendly, which is why I paid. Conclusion: NEVER AGAIN NÜRNBERGER HOF!!!!

Nowhere else can you find half chicken as good as here. They are the best in the world! Although I would normally deduct a point because you can only pay in cash, I'm happy to take cash with me for these hot hinkels.

Amazing view of the vineyards and the Rhine. The schnitzel is great and the riesling bottled here is wonderful. Hof Nurnberg is our favourite restaurant in the Wiesbaden greater area. A great German experience.

Was there today, October 25th, 2023, after a hike and, as always, thrilled with the good wine (Riesling and Pinot Gris) as well as the delicious food (loin with boiled potatoes and salad) and the warm service from the boss, Ms. Becker. I can only recommend Hof Nuremberg and would be happy to come back, even with someone!!!!!! Many thanks to the team!!!

A beautiful place with great views in the middle of the vineyards. Wine, food - including vegetarian offerings - and the farm's products sold to take away - all in top quality and at fair prices. Despite the staff shortage that can currently be found everywhere in the catering industry: impeccable and friendly service. From our point of view - we were there several times with two or three people - the sometimes really petty complaints made by people who are negatively judgmental are absolutely incomprehensible. We drive long distances ourselves so that we can stop off at Hof Nürnberg as regularly as possible after hikes or activities in Wiesbaden. Should stay as it is.

We had to wait a long time for service only to find out that the kitchen was now closed...if we had been served straight away we would have been able to eat something. When I was asked if I wanted cake and said no, I received a snotty and smiling Pf, yes then I don't. The service was super unfriendly, the other waitress always just turned away all the other guests in a stressed manner and said, "Go to the colleague"... we had to wait another 20 minutes for the bill and we weren't even said goodbye, she grabbed the money and rushed away. Chairs could also be cleaned again.

Yesterday we spent a wonderful late summer day with 14 50's anniversaries in the garden of the Nürnberger Hof. Excellent service over hours from a very attentive and nice waiter. Everyone was happy with the food. The fish with potato salad is highly recommended. The view of the Rheingau with good wine - simply wonderful. We would be happy to come back to the next meeting.

Our first visit to this restaurant. We walked through the restaurant and chose a table on the terrace. We enjoyed the beautiful view for 15 minutes until the waitress noticed us. After another 10 minutes we were finally able to order the drinks. However, it was not possible to order meals at the same time. After 5 minutes the drinks arrived and the second part of the order could be placed. After a short time the ordered dishes were served. The meatloaf was two round, breaded meatballs. The boiled potatoes were a little too soft. The taste was quite okay. The ambience is a bit old and the chairs in the outdoor area need to be cleaned again; There is nothing wrong with the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. The service was reasonably friendly. The price-performance ratio is still satisfactory.

idyllisch gelegenes Lokal in den Weinbergen Wiesbadens mit super schöner Sicht auf die andere Rheinseite. Roastbeef mit Remoulade war sehr lecker, wenn auch etwas wenig - aber wir sind nicht hungrig wieder gegangen. Auch auf Sonderwünsche wurde eingegangen. Hervorragender Service (netter junger Herr), der auch zwischendurch nachfragte, ob alles in Ordnung sei und evtl. noch Getränkewünsche bestehen (für einen Sonntagabend war das Lokal im Außenbereich gut besucht) - wir kommen gerne wieder :-)

Wunderschöne Terrasse mit Blick über die Weinberge und Wiesbaden. Hier muss Man hingehen, um richtig gute halbe Hähnchen zu essen.

Wir gehen sehr gerne zum Nürnberger Hof. Das Essen ist immer frisch und lecker. Der Service ist freundlich, familiär und so schnell, dass die Kinder vor dem Essen nicht lange auf den Spielplatz konnten. Der Wein ist lecker und bei schönem Wetter gibt es nichts besseres als auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und die schöne Aussicht bei einem Gläschen zu genießen. Bei schlechterem Wetter kann man drinnen sitzen und fühlt sich wie auf einer Berghütte, warm kuschelig und viel helles Holz. Alles in Allem kommen wir immer wieder gerne zu euch 😊

Ein schöneres Gartenrestaurant kenne ich nicht, einfach traumhaft!!! Essen sehr lecker und das Personal sehr nett.

Das Essen war wie immer sehr gut. Meine Empfehlung ist das halbe Hähnchen (meiner Meinung nach das beste im Umkreis von 50km) und der eigene Wein von Familie Becker. Die Kinder sind immer herzlich willkommen und können draußen auf dem Spielplatz toben. Vielen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft. Ps: Heute habe ich das erste Mal drinnen gesessen und es war so urig gemütlich. Also auch bei schlechtem Wetter lohnt sich die Anfahrt. Einfach ein Ort zum wohlfühlen und genießen.

man kann gelegentlich gut essen zu einem noch akzeptablen Preis. Die Speisekarte hat immer die gleiche Auswahl, ab udn zu gibt es Tafeln mit Gerichten, na ja. Ein mäßiges Service, die Wirtin ist zwar bemüht, aber die Servietten, leichtestes Papier sollte nun wirklich verbessert werden. Oder wird da auch gespart? Ameisen sind auch unterwegs. also mankann aber muss nicht. Die Aussicht ist vor dem Lokaleeingang schöner als drinnen.

Die männliche Bedienung im Außenbereich war sehr unfreundlich über eine zusätzliche Bestellung am 12.8.2023.

Es ist eine lockere Atmosphäre, das Essen schmeckt nach guter Hausmannskost, die Aussicht auf das Rheintal, die Weinberge und nach Mainz vermitteln Urlaubsfeeling. Ja, es sind viele Senioren und Wanderer dort, die einkehren, um zu fairen Preisen gut zu essen. Die hausgemachten Säfte und Weine sind auch lecker.

Schöne Aussicht, das war's dann auch. Unfreundliche und unprofessionelle Bedienung. Eigentlich wollte ich wegen einem schlechtem Erlebnis dort, vor ein paar Jahren nicht nochmal hin, aber dachte gib dem Laden nochmal eine Chance, vergebens. Freundlichkeit und Service sind hier eher Fremdworte. Essen ist maximal Durchschnitt.

Die Aussicht ist bekanntermaßen traumhaft.Der Riesling schmeckte vorzüglich.Der Salat war nicht besonders toll,das restliche Essen war aber lecker und preislich angemessen.Wir mussten recht lange auf das Essen warten,aber das Restaurant war auch sehr gut besucht.Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich,da gab es nichts zu beanstanden.Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Personal und Service gut und freundlich, Speisen sehr gut und Aussicht schön genau wie lokal einfach gut. Kann man mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.
