I celebrated my birthday in a small group (10 people) in the museum courtyard. The table was beautifully set with fresh flowers in a private area. The menu, which we had discussed beforehand, fully met our high expectations! Mr. Eberlein and his team provided us with an outstanding evening!

The meal (10-course menu for 10 years) was excellent and very attractively presented. However, we found the service a bit lackluster for this price range, though that may have been due to the inexperience of the waitress.

We felt very comfortable from the very first moment, were greeted by friendly, competent service, and were able to enjoy a varied, excellent 10-course menu with an interesting combination of sophisticated preparations, such as wafer-thin slices of turnip that resembled a kind of lightly smoked ham, or a golden trout in the style of a rollmop, cultural references through Westphalian influences and regional ingredients, tender beef carpaccio, or a crème brûlée with meadowsweet, to name just a few. The whole experience was accompanied by a harmonious wine journey. We are already very much looking forward to our next visit, perhaps for a Westphalian coffee klatsch or a gourmet menu. Thanks to Mr. Eberlein and his team. We also really enjoyed the pleasant, very homey atmosphere in the historic setting, a nice contrast to the modern chic of other restaurants in this league.

We recently celebrated our wedding here. The food (a three-course menu) was incredibly delicious with its own Westphalian touch, and the service was excellent and always approachable. We also stocked up on other delicacies from the bakery, such as boiled soups and stews. The goose fat and homemade bread are highly recommended. We and our guests felt very comfortable. A truly wonderful experience at the historic Buschkamp Brewery! 🍺 The ambiance is unique – quaint, cozy, and steeped in history. You immediately sense the special atmosphere that makes the brewery so distinctive. The food is fresh and delicious, and the selection of dishes and beers perfectly matches the rustic charm. The service is also attentive and warm. If you're looking for a traditional brewery with plenty of character and a feel-good factor, this is the place for you!

Mr. Eberlein's cooking is always something special. If you're lucky enough to meet him, he might let you in on his secrets about herbs and dishes.

Some of the rooms seemed a bit dated (outdoor seating, restrooms). The service was sometimes very professional and good, but sometimes a bit overwhelmed – perhaps trainees or assistants? In any case, we hadn't been there before this visit a few years ago, and our own standards were higher then...

Yesterday we celebrated there (...again 🙃!) and it was top-notch again: Great atmosphere, superb service, and of course, delicious food! I don't even need to go into any more detail, I'll just say: See you next time 😀❗️

Everyone rated the food as good to very good, but there's only one vegetarian main course. We had reserved a table in advance, which worked out well. However, we arrived at 12:30 on a Sunday, and the food didn't arrive until around 2:15 p.m., after we asked for it. Even though the restaurant was busy, that's a very long wait.

The food was excellent in beautiful surroundings, as were the drink recommendations. The staff were competent and extremely friendly!

We stopped here on our trip to satisfy our hunger and were happy to be offered a selection of "small dishes." However, when we saw the size of the portions, we were shocked. The salad would have been meager even as a side dish, and "the" potato pancake was just one of them and not worth mentioning. I certainly don't believe in oversized portions and understand that fine ingredients are used with care, but especially with such simple dishes, there's no need to be stingy. We left just as hungry as we arrived.

We had the gourmet menu for two people and paid €290 including drinks. I have to say, it wasn't worth it. We sat on hard garden furniture for 3.5 hours, and some of the food was dry, and the lamb was tough. It wasn't gourmet. The service was attentive, but not at a gourmet level. Sorry, but it wasn't worth €290.

Buschkamp has long been one of our favorite restaurants. However, what we experienced last week was somewhat disappointing. First of all: the restaurant and garden were moderately busy that evening. The two young women serving, although very friendly and attentive, were, in our opinion, overwhelmed. For example, despite complaining twice – after about an hour – the drinks only arrived shortly before the main course. We had to enjoy the appetizers "dry." We were even more surprised by the main course. Part of the dish was supposed to be veal tongue. Without any warning, fried black pudding was served instead. When we asked, the succinct reply was that they were out of tongue and that the black pudding would be a substitute (!?). At a restaurant like Buschkamp, ​​we would have expected information beforehand, or perhaps a personal explanation from the chef afterwards.

A very delicious menu from the Gourmet Gang. Only the welcome from the kitchen was a bit boring. The service was pleasantly relaxed, as always. 😊

We thoroughly enjoyed the menu presented as part of Gourmet Gang 2025. Silvio Eberlein and his team interpreted the "Arabian Nights" theme in a fascinating, competent, and delightful way. Dinner for six friends. We ate Westphalian food, as things like sausage porridge or pork chops rarely appear on menus. The sausage porridge was delicious. My mother would have used a bit more barley groats. The pork chop was expertly cooked, well-done but juicy on the inside. Service was friendly and attentive. No Primitivo in the wine selection. Plenty of space. Nice ambiance, too. The Westphalian is cautious with his compliments. "It's definitely worth a visit" is a sincere compliment.

The food? Regional produce, creatively and tastefully prepared (in true East Westphalian style!). The drinks? A wide selection – from aperitifs to lemonade. The service? Very friendly, humorous, and engaging. The price? Reasonable. Thank you very much for the enjoyable evening!

Meine Tochter heiratete im Museumshof standesamtlich um 11.30 Uhr . Um die Zeit bis abends zur Feier etwas zu überbrücken , bestellten wir ca 120 Canapés und natürlich zum Anstossen Sekt und Aperolspritz und andere Getränke . Nach der Trauung kamen ca 40 Personen vor dem Museumshof zusammen und wir hätten gerne zusammen angestoßen . Das war aber leider nicht möglich für so ca 20 Minuten, denn die Kellnerin wurde alleine rausgeschickt mit einem Tablett, auf dem sich 4 Sekt und 4 Aperol befanden . Hinter der Bar im Inneren waren allerdings noch 2-3 weitere Kellner ! Trotzdem war es anscheinend schwierig, etwas schneller die fehlenden Getränke zu machen, bzw. noch jemanden zu schicken,der der Kellnerin half. Das fand ich sehr befremdlich, da ich denke , jedes Getränk bringt Umsatz ! Als dann jeder irgendein Getränk hatte , kamen die bestellten Canapés . Das Weißbrot war sehr klein ,etwas trocken und sehr spärlich belegt ! Den Lachs habe ich garnicht geschmeckt und der Käse war so dünn auf dem Weißbrot, dass man durchsehen konnte . Als ich nach den bestellten Brezeln für die Kinder fragte, wurde mir geantwortet, dass diese zuletzt kämen ….. die Erwachsenen würden die sonst vorher essen . So ein Verhalten habe ich noch nirgends erlebt und auch so schlecht gemachte Canapés von keinem Cateringunternehmen jemals geliefert bekommen ( auch der Preis für diese war nicht im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis vergleichbar ). Gott sei Dank hat die abendliche Feier in einem anderen Restaurant abends alles wettgemacht . Im Nachhinein kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, dass man auf Getränkeumsatz verzichtet, der bei dem warmen sonnigen Tag das Doppelte hätte bringen können . Schade . Habe die Canapés im übrigen fotografiert ( können jederzeit gezeigt werden )

We were looking forward to a Waygu steak. Unfortunately there was only one tomahawk Waygu steak available. Net meat weight 900 g (gross 1.6 kg), too much even for 2 people. The chef should rethink this.

Unfortunately, expectations were not met. Both the food wasn't worth the price and the service wasn't good. Apparently everyone was overwhelmed by the completely full restaurant.

Very wonderful Valentine's Day menu.

Eating is an experience! The palate gets its money's worth. Allergies are easily taken into account. The chef himself came to the table to present and communicate his own creations - in a very open, cheerful way. The main service force (restaurant manager?) is attentive, disarmingly honest, humorous and informal. Very pleasant - even though he was under stress and at the same time training new people. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

The atmosphere is cozy and rustic. Service a bit clumsy but tried hard. Wine list extensive. As a main course we had goose twice. Unfortunately this was over salted. The meat was also quite tough. Definitely not appropriate for this price category (55 euros). One positive thing to note is that the plates were taken back without any problems. As a replacement there was sausage mash (okay, but nothing special) and cutlets with fried potatoes, which, however, were also not convincing in terms of taste. After all, the wild boar loin of our companion was perfect. The desserts were also very tasty. Overall, of course, you can't be satisfied with what's on offer due to the prices. It is doubtful whether we will find our way to this remote restaurant again.

We didn't like that the goose was served on a plate with side dishes. It was also too cold for us in the corner of our table.

Nice atmosphere, otherwise our expectations were far from being met. We had ordered foie gras but only received a mousse au foie gras. Afterwards there was a limp, probably thawed piece of lobster. The main course was okay, as was the dessert. We chose wine to accompany each course. Three different wines were served and a glass of liqueur/wine for dessert. We were charged €55 per person for this very clear wine accompaniment. We are happy to pay well for good quality, but here we had the feeling that the price-performance ratio was not right!

der Hauptgang( Grünkohl) war nicht zu geniessen. Die Würste waren zäh und salzig , die Bratkartoffen verbrannt. War mal wirklich gut, heute nicht mal Weihnachtsmarktqualität……

We were served by 4 different service staff🙁 (except for the obvious head waiter, no coordination or menu knowledge) I called at lunchtime and asked if there was kale, the answer was yes. The kale was ok, the two sausages were inedible, too solid, too salty, and the fried potatoes were burnt and soaked in fat. So I ate my wife's remaining piece of meat. As a former regular business customer, I have now decided that unfortunately I will no longer frequent the restaurant🥵 .

Nice atmosphere and absolutely delicious cake. To be honest, we only didn't like one dessert at all. Something probably went wrong here. However, I have to give it one star because the operators try to have bad reviews deleted via Google by claiming that the reviews are not real. Dear operators: please ask the creators of bad posts for their criticism so that we can do better in the future.

All in all very nice. Because there wasn't much going on, the service took a while, but was still slightly over-motivated in its style. But still top service in the classic way. The food was really good. I thought the festive soup was still missing the icing on the cake as well as the dish for vegetarians, the mixture and the taste was ok. The food was delicious! I have rarely eaten such deliciously prepared vegetables, and the other people's meat dishes were also exceptionally good! The interior of the restaurant is quaint and cozy, the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Wagyu (52€) was served solo and medium and also included tendons and a vessel, which unfortunately significantly diminished the enjoyment - a real shame. Wine accompaniment to the meat went very well. The sole (42€) and the children's chicken breast with noodles were 1a. Unfortunately, the map is not understandable without explanation/use of a cell phone and had to be actively asked for, which is not very helpful/customer-friendly - why "Gâteau" instead of cake??? Children's menu is only available on site and is really ok/fair. However, the visit with two smaller children at the neighboring table surprisingly led to two pairs of guests requesting new seats (but the children really didn't bother us).

Nice location, actually good food, here at Fingerfood it was too small for the number of people mentioned at the event and was served with little joy. The service seemed overwhelmed, the wait was long and chaotic. Overall still rated good to satisfactory, but subjective experience poor!

First of all - the food (10-course menu) was, as always, in the league you want to play in. Of course, you can now notice the inflation in the individual ingredients because the value has been corrected downwards instead of increasing the price. But everything tastes the same and is therefore fine for me. The only criticism here is that 15 minutes between courses is too long, since they are coordinated with each other and only make sense if you don't rinse your mouth with your drink in the meantime. What wasn't so great was the service, at least at the beginning. Yes, we are young, yes, we are not four lawyers loudly gossiping about colleagues and clients (next to the table) and perhaps do not exude that bit of arrogance that is welcome in these circles. But we leave more money than most customers, especially that evening. That means: - I don't want to be told when I enter that my table is "back there". Take me there and tell me a little bit about today's offerings...the store isn't even half full, you have the time for it. - I don't want to wait 25 minutes to order a drink. In fact, we had already discussed that we would leave in 5 minutes. - I don't want a noticeable improvement in service after an order has been placed. Don't worry, we won't order a 40 euro dish. Be careful beforehand. What was positive: After the poverty issue was clarified on our part, the service was good/attentive and proactively recognized and fulfilled our wishes. Westphalian cuisine at a top level and first-class service.

As always, everything was great and we felt very comfortable. For the second time we were there with small children (3 months and 2 years) - completely uncomplicated. The food and presentation was great, only one meal didn't quite meet expectations, BUT the friendly and courteous behavior of the service staff almost made up for it. We always enjoy coming back - whether in the beautiful half-timbered house or outdoors under the trees!

We had the vegetarian menu. It was really tasty and a great alternative to meat dishes. Nothing was missing. The wine pairing was suitable for the dishes. We will come back. It was again very tasty and the service staff was very friendly. This time I would have expected more from the wine accompaniment. The courses included 4 glasses of 0.1 for €29.

On the occasion of a birthday party, we spent over four hours in a cozy atmosphere - from an aperitif to a four-course menu to cake. The food was delicious, the beef fillet was a dream, the dessert (baked berry compote with vanilla ice cream) as well, and the home-baked bread was a poem. The only downside: the supply of drinks was slow. The red wine with the fillet was only available upon request, when the plate had already been emptied. And why not just ask what you would like to drink before serving the cake? Personally, I like coffee with cake, not after it.

A lovingly furnished historic inn with an excellent wine list with a focus on Germany. The food is fine, but there are also hearty Westphalian dishes. The portions of the starters were a bit tight, the service and the kitchen were a bit slow during our visit, there should have been a bit more effort given the higher price level.
