Bavarian style restaurant, very nice staff, several types of beer. Fair prices in the middle price segment. The hand dryer in the men's toilet is currently broken. It's a shame there's only one towel hanging there. This could be solved differently.

We visited the Hirschhausen Restaurant with about 10 people. A nice rustic restaurant with Bavarian flair. The food was beautifully presented and the menu was well structured. A top service. Fast and friendly. Price wise it was mediocre. Not too expensive but not exactly cheap either. The Schmand Schnitzel was perfect. Thank you for the lovely evening.

On September 24th, the bowling alley for 13 people including food was reserved by telephone for October 5th. Today we were told by the boss that the meal had not been agreed upon, but that he would still offer food during the bowling as a gesture of goodwill. The service was nice, the food was OK at best, but the boss's accusatory attitude was simply impossible. Unfortunately, that was the last time for us at Hirschhausen!

The food was very tasty, the service was nice and the surroundings were also good.

This review only applies to yesterday's visit. Updates to follow. This restaurant has a superbly rustic and very clean atmosphere. The service was very friendly, attentive and quite quick. I had a Jägerschnitzel with French fries and a side salad, both of which were very tasteful and delicious. In terms of price it was okay. 4 stars only because there has to be room for improvement. ;-)

My visit to Hirschhausen today; Ambiance is very nice and quiet. I decided on the sour cream schnitzel with spaetzle, the portion was absolutely sufficient, which is what I expected at €17.90... however, the sour cream sauce was very special with pieces of leek without bacon, etc. and the spaetzle was probably tossed in the pan in the fat. The schnitzel was homemade I think and was good too.

The food was very, very tasty and the service gave good advice and was very friendly. We had our food on the table quickly.

This was the second time I've been to this restaurant and I even deliberately drove off the A7 to eat here. The facility, the food and the staff are just great!! Great recommendation, although it's better to park a little further ahead and walk in. Thank you for everything!! Dziękuję za obsługę!!!

The restaurant is very, very nicely and comfortably furnished in the front area, the tables are a bit narrow and cozy😋 We were there for the first time. The service itself was okay, but at the end of the visit we knew the name of everyone who worked there because they were often called across the restaurant. The location is a bit more hidden for someone who doesn't know the area, but can be found. What annoyed us a bit was that we had to wait 40 minutes for the starter and another 30 minutes for the main course after we finished the starter... that's just too long. The food itself was very, very good.

I'm here as a hotel guest. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Refrigerator is also available in the room. I can write the following about the restaurant. The presentation is very sophisticated. The restaurant's gallery is a nice extra. You feel very comfortable there. I can only recommend.

We ate in Hirschhausen in May 2023 and were very disappointed. Probably change of ownership! Things used to be different there and that's why I suspect that a change has now taken place. Price performance does not match. Rump steaks were probably bad because everyone who ate a rum steak had food poisoning with diarrhea and vomiting and stomach aches a few hours later. Half of the rump steak was just fat and inedible. The crowd was too small and no one was full. No side salad included. Saturday evening and hardly any guests. Too bad and never again. Please take care of yourselves! Take the bill with you so that you can prove that you also ate there.

Service was very nice. Food was good, but it took a while, unfortunately quite a lot of the menu wasn't available.

Four of us ate at this restaurant. We felt very comfortable from the first second. The service was very satisfactory, friendly and accommodating. The waiting time was completely fine. The food was very tasty, beautifully presented and the portions were quite large. Price-performance is very good.

The service is really nice and polite. The choice of food is completely fine. The food is delicious. Unfortunately, I had a section of (presumably) a tetra pack in my sauce. I showed and told both of the service people. Both were embarrassed. They both ran into the kitchen. All I got was a “sorry.” We were offered nothing as an apology, we paid full price. Over €70 with 2 people, and then something like that.

The day before yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting the Hirschhausen restaurant in Baunatal again after a long time and would definitely like to share our enthusiasm. The Cordon Bleu was simply delicious and the portion size was great. As always, the atmosphere was cozy and the price-performance ratio was good. A special thank you goes to Mila, our charming waitress, who deserves more than just five stars. She is not only extremely friendly, but also extremely attentive and always has a quick saying on her lips. Her radiance and positive charisma really enriched our experience. She is simply great! We are already looking forward to our next visit to Hirschhausen and can hardly wait to be pampered again by Mila and the entire team.

Waren mit der ganzen Familie dort essen. Das Restaurant ist urgemütlich und das Essen war sehr lecker. Allerdings ist es nichts für Frierkatzen, wir alle fanden es schon sehr kalt. Deshalb ein Stern Abzug.

Leider sehr enttäuschend! Wir haben trotz einer Reservierung 2,5h ab der Bestellung auf unser Essen gewartet. Scheinbar wurden mehr Reservierungen angenommen, als es die Kapazität es zulässt. Die Küche war total überfordert, was sich auch auf die Qualität des Essen ausgewirkt hat. Kann ich leider nicht empfehlen.

Kein typisches hotel. Zimmer völlig ausreichend. Essen im restaurant sehr gut.

Sehr enttäuscht. 2,5 Stunden auf überteuertes Weihnachtsessen gewartet welches dann auch nur lau warm war. Das Fleisch war frisch zubereitet, die Beilagen aufgewärmt. Portionen klein und und für einen normalen Menschen zu wenig. Keinerlei Entschuldigung seitens Personal. Dieses auch überfordert und teilweise unfreundlich. Einmal und nie wieder....... Nicht zu empfehlen!

Leider sehr enttäuscht. Wir haben unsere Weihnachtsfeier dort gemacht, 1,5 h auf unsere Vorspeise gewartet und anschließend nochmal 1,5 h bis der Hauptgang kam. Das Essen kam komplett kalt an, wie das geht können wir uns nicht erklären. Warm hätte es bestimmt geschmeckt… Sehr schade das Ambiente ist schön, wir wären gerne wieder gekommen, aber nach so einer Enttäuschung werden wir den Laden leider meiden und nicht mehr weiter empfehlen.

Wir waren mit mehreren Personen vor Ort. Es war relativ kühl im Gasthaus und verhältnismäßig kalt. Einige Essen waren versalzen sowie Espresso kalt. Personal war nett .

Die Location war super voll, das arme Personal kam kaum hinterher. Schöne Einrichtung im bayrischen Stil mit passender Musik 🎶

Ambiente sehr schön. Freundlicher Service. Bisschen kalt in der guten Stube. Aber das Essen. Nein danke. Vorspeise hatte keinen Geschmack. Gekauftes Baguette vom Discounter. Hauptgang kam 5 Min später. Schnitzel waren Formschnitzel. Gemüse nicht gewürzt und halb roh. Die Pommes haben die Fritteuse nur zum Aufwärmen gesehen. Leider nicht nochmal.

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und der Service war schnell und gut. Das Essen hat allerdings enttäuscht. Ich hatte Wildgulasch mit Spätzle und Rotkohl, leider war es aber eher ein Pilzgulasch. Ganze vier Stückchen Fleisch, der Rest nur Champions. Der Rotkohl und die Spätzle waren ok, allerdings war die Spätzle Portion ziemlich übersichtlich. Für fast 20 € nicht empfehlenswert. Schade

Leider nicht empfehlenswert. Das Ambiente ist hübsch, der Service freundlich. Allerdings ist das Essen geschmacklich katastrophal, es schmeckt alles nach gar nichts. Darüber hinaus ist die Wartezeit immens, bei uns hat alles mehr als drei Stunden gedauert. Außerdem wird hier teilweise Convenience gekocht!!

Ein Megaaaaaa Restaurant. Super kompetente Beratung und leckeres besonderes Essen. Und eine hochwertige Getränkeauswahl. Jeden Aben ein Muss. Danke klasse und weiter so.

Super nette familiäre Bedienung, ein perfekt zubereitetes Steak mit hausgemachten Kroketten und eine Soße die seines gleichen sucht. Selten so gut gegessen Preis/Leistung top 👍

Schade.......hat sich vom Essen und Service leider verschlechtert.Tütensosse und labberige Pommes,Fleisch knorpelig und der Wildgulsch versalzen.Bratkartoffeln????Könnte da gern mal Tipps für leckere Zubereitung geben.Schade.....Geld für nix.

Einen wunderschönen Abend mit Freunden hier in der "Kuschelecke" verbracht. Sehr netter Service und gutes Essen. Große Auswahl an Getränken. Mir gefällt das rustikale Ambiente.

Der Service ist wirklich sehr gut, schnell und freundlich. Das Essen optisch und die Portionmenge war gut. Nur leider ist vom Geschmack noch viel Luft nach oben drinne. Sehr Geschmacklos alles, die Pfeffersoße hat nach nichts geschmeckt leider und das Schnitzel war okay. Würde Ihnen aber nochmal eine Chance geben :)

Wir waren zum Kegeln und anschließendem Essen dort. Alles hat wunderbar geklappt, war sehr schön, hat sehr gut geschmeckt, das Essen war lecker und dias Personal zuvorkommend und freundlich. Hier fühlt man sich wohl, und kommt gerne her👍😊

Die vielfältige Speisekarte, die erstklassige Zubereitung der Gerichte und das einladende Ambiente haben mich restlos überzeugt. Jeder Bissen war ein Genuss, und der Service war ebenso herausragend. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen, um erneut in den Genuss dieser exquisiten Gaumenfreuden zu kommen. Sehr empfehlenswert! *****

19.8.2023 hier gegessen. Das Ambiente der Aussenterrasse ist ansprechend, der Service freundlich. Die Qualität der Speisen hingegen bietet noch viel Luft nach oben. Die zum Schweinebraten avisierten frischen Semmelknödel entpuppten sich als in der Pfanne geröstete Weissbrotstücke, die nicht das Geringste mit einem Semmelknödel zu tun hatten. Der angeblich langsam auf niedriger Tempetatur geschmorte Schweinebraten war ein aufgewärmtes Bratenstück. An der Hirschhausenjause gibt es keinerlei Kritikpunkte, lediglich das Brot war nicht selbst gebacken, wie in der Speisekarte angekündigt. Bei dem bayrisch/österreichische Anstrich, den man verbreiten möchte, etwartet der Gast auch ein dieser Region entsprechendes Scharzbrot und kein pappiges Weissbrot. Zusammenfassend können wir das Lokal nicht als klare Empfehlung bewerten.

Das Essen und die Getränke sind für dieses Ambiente zu teuer.
