Hirsch Asia in Bad Saulgau

We had to wait an hour for our food, which was very annoying.

We used to eat there very often, but unfortunately it's not the same anymore since the new owner. I've tried it twice now and the food just tastes like a dirty pan and old oil.

The sushi is delicious. Prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.

Ate great sushi, would love to come back!

Two of us were there on the evening of September 28th and enjoyed red crab curry with a delicious vegetable selection and rice. The taste was unbeatably good. The price/performance ratio was absolutely excellent. The service was prompt and very friendly. The dish was freshly prepared and served within 15 minutes. You could pay either in cash or by card at the counter. This restaurant is an absolute must for lovers of Asian cuisine. We will definitely be back.

The atmosphere was dated but clean - the food was quite OK. Nothing extraordinary. The presentation of the large sushi 🍣 platter for 2-3 people wasn't anything extraordinary. ^^ The food was delicious and fresh! I'm used to very different, extravagant dishes when it comes to Asian fusion cuisine, and I was therefore a bit disappointed. Overall, I find the price-performance ratio rather poor. Communication was difficult, and the language was very difficult to understand. So, it's a good average! 3 stars 🌟

The food was extremely delicious. When I asked if I could pay by card, he said, "No, only cash." When he came to take the payment, I asked again if it really wasn't possible to pay by card. He simply replied, "Yes, but it's better to pay with cash." One star deducted for this. Otherwise, very friendly service.

The food is very good and appetizingly presented, and the price is reasonable! We had a reservation, and that worked out very well, but sitting in the next room means you're very close to your neighbors, which is very uncomfortable.

Good in itself but soup tastes like earth

We didn't like the food and didn't think the quality was great. The peanut sauce just tasted like coconut. And the sushi was drizzled with a white sauce that didn't go well with it. The service was good, though.

While the food tasted really good, the quantity was ridiculous. The price isn't that high, but you can at least expect to be full. My duck hardly had any noodles, and my wife's portion of noodles was also very small.

If you just want a quick drink, it's okay. There's nothing to eat.

This was our second time dining here, and it was definitely worth it! The food is delicious, super fresh, and the menu is very varied! The staff is very friendly, and our food arrived quickly. The ambiance could be a bit more Asian 🌺

We had lunch at Asia Hirsch, and it went relatively quickly. The lunch menu even included a soup or spring rolls.

I got a hot meal and sushi to go the other day. The hot food was an absolute disgrace, except for the sauce, vegetables, and rice. The result was inedible—sliced far too thin and fried to death!!!!! Unfortunately, the sushi doesn't get any better. Firstly, the tuna is sliced far too thick... And on top of that, the fish was already dry around the edges!!!!! I was initially going to report the sushi to the health department, but then I decided NOT to eat it.... I'm disappointed. I was there a few times 2-3 years ago and it was always great—maybe a different owner!!! Enjoy your meal 😇

My favorite Asian restaurant in the Ravensburg district.

I ordered sushi to go. When I picked it up, I noticed that there was simply no one sitting in the restaurant, which I found a little odd considering it was evening. But oh well, that's just how it is. The sushi was delicious and still hot from frying, so it was very fresh. The staff was friendly; they didn't speak German very well, but we understood each other. There are a few places to sit outside to the right of the building. Card payments only start at €20. All in all, very tasty! :)

We ate here on Friday, June 6, 2025. What can I say/write...other than that I can 100% recommend this restaurant. Friendly, quick, no rush...simply a place to relax and enjoy these delicious dishes prepared with love. We simply enjoyed the evening.

The toilet was clogged and the children's toilet was really small. I got schnitzel with fries, which was delicious, and the man couldn't understand us.

We arrived hungry and left hungry. The portion was so small that we barely noticed we'd eaten, and we're not big eaters. If you want to fill yourself up, you shouldn't come here. Otherwise, the food was okay. But not outstanding.

The children's portions differ only in price, not in quantity. The food tastes too salty. Noodles with vegetables and egg. The egg was probably from a quail, but the quantity was harmonious, as were the vegetables, 99% of which are not of Chinese origin, although I didn't speak to them. The ambiance is also more rustic German than Chinese.

We were very positively surprised by this restaurant today. Very good Asian food. Sushi is more than delicious. Served very nicely and elegantly. Price very good. Clear recommendation!

Staff very unfriendly and almost physical... almost wanted to snatch my cell phone out of my hand to check if that was my number that called and ordered. Yes, I ordered, wrong at first, and then immediately called back and corrected my order. The staff misunderstood it and put the blame on me and said I had to pay for both, which I didn't do. Was my first and last visit.

The food was good and the price was ok, but the waitress (male, smaller man) doesn't do his job with all his heart and seems very un-relaxed

The food is very tasty and reasonably priced! However, the staff become less friendly once the place gets busy, as they're overwhelmed, which is a shame.

We are regular customers for this is the best Asia definitely try it out. It's worth it

Really good food and friendly service

Trying to order is particularly difficult due to a lack of knowledge of German. There is no response to calls and you are pushed away several times in a row. We had to wait a long time for the food (40 minutes for 2 people) not a big order! The staff is very unfriendly and aggressive, communication is hardly possible, pronunciation is also very bad.

First of all, the good: the food is very digestible. Unfortunately, the boss is almost incomprehensible. His German is bad, you just have to say that. But the bad rating comes about because we had to wait over 2 hours until the food was served. There wasn't really much going on that evening. We had to wait almost 45 minutes before we could order our drinks. Then it went again until we received it. We didn't order anything elaborate. So we spent over 3 hours in the restaurant. Unfortunately, that wasn't all: the card reader for paying with the card didn't work the entire evening (also for other guests) even though there was a sign at the entrance: card payments possible from 20 euros. You could have simply removed it. But yeah, there's probably nothing you can do about it. Because apparently the card reader not working is common practice, if you believe the other recessions.

We came without a reservation and were initially ignored for a while until we finally got a table. We then waited about 45 minutes until we could order something. After about 1.5 hours, edamame that we hadn't ordered came from the kitchen as a greeting, we thought. But in the end they were on the bill. After two hours the main course arrived. It was ok, but not great. When I asked where the soup was, the boss got a little louder. When we wanted to pay, he told us that the card machine was broken. But there was a sign on the door that said: Card payment from 20 euros. It was very difficult to communicate linguistically A woman who also served was very friendly and personable, everything else was very unpleasant.

We ended up here because of the good star rating. The restaurant with its beer bar “charm” was well attended but far from full. We waited 1 hour for the drinks and 2 hours for the food. It was delicious but let's be honest, when you're hungry it's nasty. The starter was forgotten because we apparently didn't order it. Instead, a supposed greeting came from the kitchen, which was then reflected on the bill. At the entrance door there is a notice that you can only pay by card if you spend more than €20. For the entire 4 hours that we ended up sitting there, all guests were told that the card reader was broken today. However, no corresponding information was added at the entrance. Communication also proved to be a challenge, as the knowledge of German really leaves a lot to be desired. The lady was very warm/friendly, the gentleman was rather short and a bit abrupt.

Food was good, but very little. Unfortunately, no service staff came after the meal.

Very tasty (also vegetarian!!) food, varied and always with fresh vegetables. The starters are also wonderful. It's best to have a Vietnamese coffee with milk for dessert, that's something special! And in summer there is the house limo, which is also very refreshing. Always my pleasure!!!

I can only recommend by far one of the best curries I've ever had. You can tell that everything here is fresh and homemade, no frozen products are used.

Unfriendly service and bad food I'm really disappointed. The food I ordered was completely wrong. Instead of an apology, all I got was the unfriendly comment that it was “busy.” Something like that just doesn't work - neither the sound nor the quality. Customer friendliness looks different. I definitely won't order here again! Already twice

Delicious food. A little longer waiting time when paying (feels like there are whiny children). The restaurant was also very full. If it weren't for children, maybe it wouldn't have bothered me.

Endless waiting for haphazard staff once and never again!

The two of us had dinner here this evening. After no welcome, we looked for a seat ourselves and the waitress (in an Adidas sports suit) came some time later. Drinks and food came quickly, great! Unfortunately, sparkling water came instead of the still water we ordered. The fried noodles were the worst I've ever eaten. The noodles, meat and vegetables were completely unseasoned. There was no sauce either. The chicken was also tough. When I asked, I got it about 10 minutes later, the food was still lukewarm, sauce with it - even better. The other dish, red curry with chicken, tasted okay (apart from the tough meat), but the portion was very small. Unfortunately we were deceived by the good reviews on Googlemaps. Or we were just unlucky.

The food is a 10/10 really. Friendly service, there was a bit of difficulty when paying because the employee didn't speak German well. Unfortunately there were no receipts either, there was a small sheet where you wrote down the amount you were supposed to pay. Otherwise everything was great, I can definitely recommend it if you want to eat delicious sushi.

Food great as always. Unfortunately, two dishes were missing when we picked them up. When we reordered on site, we were treated very rudely by the “boss” (this even included throwing a ballpoint pen at us) and only after persistent discussions was the meal, which we had already paid for, handed over to us at no extra charge. The women at the service were slightly overwhelmed but quite cooperative. Very unpleasant visit!!

The best first! The food was very good! If you are very hungry, we recommend having an appetizer. We had sushi, fried noodles and duck with peanut sauce. Everything was very tasty! However, we waited 1.5 hours for our food (there were 8 people). When we asked after more than an hour, we were casually told that it would take longer today. When we wanted to pay, the card reader didn't work. You could have said it in advance. When paying, you were more or less pressured to pay as quickly as possible.

Good food but the furnishings are getting old. Staff is friendly. If you like sushi, you'll get your money's worth here. Definitely recommended

We waited 40 minutes for our food

We went here for dinner today for our birthday based on multiple recommendations from various people. We went there without a reservation. Finding space for 4 people was absolutely no problem. We had a table outside. The seats there are very pleasant because all the tables are in the shade and you can enjoy the food even at higher temperatures without sweating. The food itself was excellent. The portions were plentiful, everyone was full. The orders also came quite quickly, sometimes even too quickly for us. I think the price is reasonable for the amount served. The staff was also super nice and child-friendly. Linguistically it was a little difficult to understand at times but not too bad now. In any case, we can say: it wasn't the last time we were there.

Very very tasty. We have been there several times since the ownership changed. Now it is no longer a Chinese restaurant but a Vietnamese one. The menu isn't very large, but the operators are extremely friendly, the food comes quickly (even when it's full) and it's super tasty. We recommend.

In terms of price/performance the best sushi in the area! I always enjoy ordering here and often buy vouchers for friends and family.

Yesterday we and 6 people went to the Hirsch for the first time, on the recommendation of friends. The restaurant was very busy (Saturday evening). The service was very nice and friendly. The menu is a bit confusing for newbies and takes some time. But the food was very good, plentiful and the price was right. It's definitely not the last time I've been here.

There's nothing bad to say about the food, the vegetarian spring rolls were too dry for me but otherwise okay. The dressing for the salads is the standard sesame dressing from Metro. The noodles were way too oily for my taste. Service was extremely unfriendly. We were misunderstood despite what was shown on the menu and were given 3 salads instead of summer rolls. Instead of taking the salad back, the man immediately shouted and aggressively slammed the card on the table. Nothing has changed the fact that it makes no sense to order 3 salads as a starter for two people. He was getting angrier and angrier. We then wanted to pay and leave, but were forced to take the main courses we had ordered. Of course, it was impossible to enjoy what I ordered.

Not a top modern Asian atmosphere but that doesn't matter with the absolutely delicious cuisine 🙏 Keep it up! Every dish has its own special feature… and the sushi is great ❤️

Really excellent and always freshly made Asian food is offered here, whether salads or delicious main courses are on the table! We are simply thrilled and would be happy to come back again and again as long as this great culinary experience and the price-performance ratio remain consistent. Keep it up!

We went here for lunch and left a bit disappointed as not everyone enjoyed it. Service was fine, the staff really made an effort. The starter and soup were very good. Unfortunately, one rice dish was just greasy and had no taste. Maybe we just chose the wrong food.

Zentral gelegen mit Parkmöglichkeiten um Umfeld. Das Ambiente eher Gastwirtschaft als Vietnamese,nis auf wenige Details im Eingangsbereich. Landestypische Speisekarte zu akzeptablen Preisen. Große Portionen lecker zubereitet. Freundliche Miarbeiter.

Mūsu apmeklējuma laikā dienas piedāvājumā bija daudz dažādi ēdieni - gan veģetārie,gan ar vistas gaļu,pīli,liellopu,jūras veltēm. To izvēloties ,bonusā piedāvā vai nu zupu,vai pavasara rullīšus pēc izvēles. Ēdiens garšīgs - ne tik aziātisks,piemērots eiropiešu gaumei. Porcijas samērīgas,atbilstošas cenai.

Wir gehen sehr gerne in den Hirsch Asia. Die Leute sind sehr nett und freundlich. Das Essen ist sehr gut und reichlich.

Das Essen war wirklich phantastisch, schade das ich kein Photo gemacht habe. Wir haben auch immer zu den Nachbartischen geschaut, was die so hatten, und es sah genau so lecker aus. Die Qualität ist natürlich ganz anders wie bei den all you can eat Restaurants. Die Preise sind auch ganz ok. Es gab hier ein Besitzer wechsel, Personal ist sehr höflich, aber leider gibt es Verständigungsprobleme, und Personal ist noch unerfahren im Gastronomie bereich. Wir kommen trotz allem sehr gerne wieder.

Essen ist in Ordnung, aber nichts besonderes. Service war etwas überfordert. Die Location passt eher zu einem Wirtshaus.

Wir haben das Restaurant per Google gefunden und bei warmen Sommertemperaturen einen Platz draußen bekommen. Der Service war ok, Essen war sehr gut bei normalen Portionen. Preis Leistung hat auf jeden Fall gepasst und würde wieder her kommen.

Super leckeres Sushi. Alles ist sehr ordentlich, wie auch die Bedienungen sind super nett.

Wir haben es heute das erst mal ausprobiert. Ich hatte frisches Gemüse mit Hühnchen in rote Thai Curry Sauce und ich hätte wirklich rein liegen können. Das Gemüse war noch knackig, die Sauce leicht scharf und die Portion so groß, dass ich wirklich satt war und nicht zu voll. Wir werden definitiv wieder hinkommen.

Ich wollte unbedingt mal wieder eine Pho Suppe essen, also gingen wir heute mal zum Hirsch Asia. Ich muss sagen, dass die Suppe sehr lecker war. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder zum Hirsch Asia um auch die anderen Gerichte zu kosten. Wir saßen im Außenbereich und waren gänzlich zufrieden. Service super freundlich!

Tolles und super liebes Personal, aufs Essen braucht man hier nicht lange warten. Man wird sehr gut bedient. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut,nur eins was mir nicht gefallen hat, auf meinem Teller war der kalter Salat der sich mit der warmen Sosse vermischt hat,so konnte ich den Salat kaum aufessen. Evtl den Salat auf einem extra Teller servieren? Sonst war alles top 👍
