Sehr schöner Ort, zum Essen und Trinken, zum verweilen, wir waren das erste Mal dort, Tapas Abend, wir können es nur empfehlen. Bedienung sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, sehr schönes Ambiente.

Stock dann ganz offensichtlich hinterm Horizont: tolle Einrichtung, überragender Gastgeber, ungewöhnliche Einladung zum Äußern aller Änderungswünsche und perfekte kulinarische Beratung. Die Lokalität, das Essen, die Getränke und der Service waren einfach fantastisch. Wir haben uns noch nie so willkommen und gut beraten gefühlt. Es war etwas ganz besonderes, herzlichen Dank.

Wir waren zu Besuch und wurden sehr positiv überrascht. Sehr unscheinbar von außen, aber drinnen sehr schön. Der Innenarchitekt lief die Linie zwischen kitschig und ästhetisch sehr gekonnt. Das Essen war sehr lecker, wir haben uns die Vorspeisen alle geteilt um so viel wie möglich zu probieren und waren sehr glücklich. Von vegan über vegetarisch bis Fleisch waren alle Gerichte unglaublich. Der Cocktail „New York Sour“ hat sich nicht gut gelesen aber war so lecker, dass wir uns den beim Kellner die genaue Zusammensetzung geben lassen haben. Wir werden wiederkomme und können es jedem ans Herz legen hier einen Abstecher zu machen.

Wir waren heute zum 2.mal zu Gast und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Vom Empfang bis zum Espresso am Ende einfach ein gelungener Abend. Der gebackene Veta war, wie der " Rege Austausch", ein absoluter Gaumenschmaus. Das Gemüse knackig und das Fleisch so wie der Fisch auf den Punkt gebraten und perfekt gewürzt. Ein großes Lob an das Personal das, wie beim ersten Mal, einen super Job macht ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Ein ungezwungener kurzer Plausch am Tisch rundet das ganze ab. Dank und Respekt an das Team, das solche Abende ermöglicht.

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant mit hervorragendem Essen zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Der Service ist überaus zuvorkommend und effizient. Auch die Auswahl an alkoholfreien Getränken ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen ist etwas anders, hebt sich also vom Üblichen ab. Der Koch ist wirklich erstklassig! Die Speisekarte ist ansprechend und übersichtlich gestaltet. Es gibt eine große Auswahl und viel Abwechslung. Ein Grund, wiederzukommen.

12/10 Sterne. Auf alle Sonderwünsche eingegangen (hab ich so noch nie erlebt). Aufmerksam, freundlich, Location /Ambiente absolut TOP. Mit eines der schönsten Restaurants in denen ich war. Egal welches Gericht, man hat sofort heraus geschmeckt, dass alles selbst gemacht ist. Die Panade vom Schnitzel war unbeschreiblich. So in der Art noch nie gegessen. Super lecker. Alles was wir gegessen haben ist mit 1+ zu empfehlen. Auch die Getränke, hausgemachte Limonade, Cocktails usw. Ein Genuss.

Ein echt ansprechendes Lokal mit extrem leckeren Essen!! Wir hatten vier verschiedene Gerichte, die alle gleichzeitig kamen und auf den Punkt zubereitet waren. Und dass, obwohl zwei verschiedene Rinderfiletgerichte dabei waren. Bei Aperitif und Nachspeise haben wir uns vom Chef "überreden" lassen - hat sich gelohnt! Einen kleinen Abzug (halber Stern) muss ich machen, da es leider etwas zugig war. Die Atmosphäre war trotzdem unheimlich toll und entspannt und wir waren (plötzlich) 3 Stunden da.

Unfortunately, the worst breakfast buffet in Cloppenburg... for €26, it's a rather mediocre to low-class buffet. The selection is very limited, and I missed fresh fruit, as well as cream cheese and similar items. The €26 price doesn't include hot drinks, so you pay €30 for the buffet with a latte macchiato, which is very expensive. You're definitely paying more for the ambiance than for the food. I can't rate the rest of the food, but I wouldn't recommend the breakfast. It's a shame my review was labeled fake. I actually went there, so I can rate it.

A place where you can forget your worries and enjoy the moment. For a small town, this place offers an excellent ambiance with a familiar feel that you don't get everywhere. Personally, I haven't seen a comparable restaurant in the surrounding area, and even in larger towns, there aren't many comparable places where you can get an experience of this quality. The team is young and dynamic and makes you feel like they know what they're doing. The price-performance ratio is excellent. There's a good price range for many drinks and dishes, allowing people from all walks of life to have a great time and not miss a thing. You quickly forget that you're still in Cloppenburg, and you realize that the restaurant stands out from the reputation and standards of Cloppenburg. Saturday with my colleagues was the best team event I've had so far, and a large part of that is thanks to the restaurant team.

Someone regularly asked about our well-being, without it being annoying. They showed genuine commitment and, just as advertised, invited us to a special experience. The interaction with small children was just sooo great, and the little ones were even allowed behind the bar to help mix cocktails. The prices are completely reasonable and fair. A huge compliment for an all-round feel-good package (ambience, food, service, restrooms,... simply everything)! Thank you very much, we'd love to come back!

The breakfast buffet wasn't as great as expected, unfortunately. For €26 per person, you'd expect a bit more variety. What could be better? Only three types of sausage and cheese each on a small platter. No vegan cold cuts. The only spreads I could find were butter and herb cream cheese, but I would have liked to have had two or three more. Unfortunately, there was no milk alternative at the buffet (perhaps on request?). Unfortunately, no fruit like melon or similar (only as a fruit salad for the yogurt). What was good? The staff were super friendly and accommodating! The antipasti selection was really very good. The coffee was also very tasty. There were also many types of tea, something for everyone. The ambiance was really very good. Overall, unfortunately, it was just an average breakfast buffet, especially at €25 per person.

This is our second time at this restaurant and we're always happy to come back. The food is incredibly delicious; the meat is cooked to perfection, the vegetables are fresh, and the dessert selection was amazing. The ambiance is fantastic, very stylish, lovingly decorated, with a tastefully furnished balcony that's illuminated in the evenings, where you can spend a lovely evening. The service is excellent; you're greeted warmly, asked if everything is okay and if you'd like anything else. The little one was given a coloring book and crayons, and there's a small playroom upstairs.

Each course was harmonious, well-thought-out, and lovingly prepared – without frills, but with a sense of quality. A particularly beautiful moment: The owner, Matthias Aumann, insisted on treating us to two glasses of sparkling wine for our wedding anniversary – a small gesture that truly touched us. It's precisely this thoughtfulness that makes all the difference. The ambience: modern, cozy, with a vision – in the truest sense. The name says it all. The service: friendly, professional, but wonderfully unpretentious. You feel welcome, not just served. My conclusion: "Beyond the Horizon" is more than a restaurant – it's a place for special evenings, with authentic cuisine and genuine hospitality. For us, it was a thoroughly successful wedding day. It wasn't my first visit to the restaurant, nor will it be my last. A clear recommendation for discerning connoisseurs. (Visited in 2024)

Four of us had breakfast in April. The restaurant manager welcomed us to our table in a friendly, relaxed manner. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the tables were well spaced out in the room, no space problems, no crowds. The modalities were discussed at the table and the coffee was ready. Came for breakfast for the first time today. It was a very nice event. Very good, freshly prepared buffet. If you want something extra, the kitchen prepares it quickly and freshly. The service is very friendly and attentive. The boss himself is extremely friendly and has an open ear for his guests. Although the price is a bit high at first glance, the freshness of the very tasty food quickly puts that into perspective. We will definitely come back and recommend it.

We have been there several times and have always been satisfied. But unfortunately everything has slowed down a bit now. The prices have become very expensive and the portions are simply too small. We celebrated a birthday there and nothing was decorated, not even upon request. Very unfortunate. The service was also a bit mixed. The location is still good. The food was mostly okay, but the greeting from the kitchen (greasy fried bread) was a disaster. Conclusion: We were disappointed and will probably not come back for the time being.

We called on Saturday afternoon to get a place at brunch this Sunday. Unfortunately there was no more space available. Then the first surprise: The nice voice on the phone offered to contact us if anyone else canceled, as this is often the case with online bookings. To be honest, we were skeptical. This morning the second surprise: We were called about an hour and a quarter before brunch started and the same friendly voice from the day before confirmed to us that we could have a table, which we happily said yes. Like all other guests, we were warmly welcomed at reception by the owner of the friendly voice on the telephone (Patrick), shown to the table and briefly instructed in the brunch procedure. The food was very tasty, everything was fresh, was constantly replenished at the buffet and the obviously fit employees fulfilled all requests very quickly and friendly. It was fun today, we'd love to come back, keep it up! PS: I could have brought my dog ​​with me too!

Our Christmas visit to the Hinterm Horizont restaurant in Cloppenburg was a highlight! The Christmas menu impressed with a variety of dishes that were both traditional and creatively prepared. I received a voucher for my birthday and redeemed it this morning with the great breakfast buffet. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to the table. There the buffet process was explained to us. Egg dishes were freshly prepared and served at the table as well as various drinks. Otherwise buffet style, where there was enough of everything. Freshly and decoratively prepared.
