We had a wonderful evening at Monos. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, delicious drinks and great snacks. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. Food took an hour to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. The dishes were mixed up, and when I pointed it out, the waiter didn’t seem to care. One of the kid’s dishes was completely forgotten — they only remembered it when we were paying the bill and offered to pack it “to go.” The steak was definitely not worth the price — rubbery meat, nowhere near the quality of a proper cut they charge for. The waitress was inattentive, barely checked on our table, didn’t bring the change from €200 on a €188 bill, and we never received a printed receipt — the total was only told verbally. This was our first and last visit to this restaurant.

The food at Momos in Baunatal was really delicious and beautifully presented, and the drinks looked great too. The host was nice and friendly. The only minor drawback: the music was a bit loud, but otherwise, a really nice visit!

The food was good, the service was friendly. However, the kitchen closes at 9 p.m., and shortly afterward, you're asked to pay (and this on a Friday night). If guests don't leave promptly, the exit door is opened, making it so cold that you're forced to put on your jacket and leave the restaurant. It's better to choose another place on a Friday night.

Unfortunately, the management is very money-oriented and unfriendly. Guests are treated according to their income. They even 'friendly' remind you when to drink your coffee. Furthermore, the payment took 20 minutes. I actually only wanted to give one star.

We ate there before our movie. However, we probably didn't allow enough time for the 2.5 hours, as we hadn't anticipated the incredibly long wait for the food to arrive and for payment. The food itself was nothing to complain about, and the cocktail was also very tasty. You should make a reservation in advance.

Our food was ice cold! They served the food cold, but the snack bar was warm. "Hot pan" is anything but hot. On top of that, the potato wedges were burnt and still ice cold. Simply too expensive, and nothing more!

I've been to Monos in Baunatal three times so far. The first two times were disastrously understaffed and the wait was endless. The last time I was there with my partner, the service was top-notch (they've increased staff), incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The food was/is always top-notch. 👍 Always happy to go back 👍

As always, the food was very tasty, we eat here often and have already tried the menu. The service is always very friendly and competent. Since the cinema is in the same building, we like to eat here beforehand, which always works perfectly.

A perfect place to grab a bite to eat before going to the cinema or to satisfy your hunger, the food has always been delicious and the cocktails tasty. The staff always friendly and accommodating. On weekends and public holidays you should make a reservation; during the week we have never had any problems/waiting times getting a table spontaneously. This was not our first and certainly not our last visit.

We were welcomed on the terrace very politely and courteously. The service was very good, but we expected more from the food. The avocado bowl had too little dressing and therefore hardly any taste, more bulgur than vegetables, and the pineapple on it was inedible. The vegan burger was ok in itself, but there wasn't enough toppings and it was small for €12. This is much better! We were asked to leave a recession behind.

An experience of a special kind. Entered the restaurant without a reservation (but tried to reach the restaurant several times by phone, which unfortunately didn't work). The waiter then gave us a free table for 6 people. Then the very unfriendly owner came and reprimanded us that we weren't allowed to sit here without a reservation, there was no chance everything was full, we should then leave. I think it's understandable if you say that straight away, but this manner and then the discussion that you had to have afterwards because I said that unfortunately I haven't been able to reach anyone by phone in the last few days was so unprofessional that I will never come here again. I've never had to experience something like that in a restaurant. I just feel sorry for the employee with a boss like that, his word and his competence to assign us a table was not only questioned, but also simply not accepted.

We had reserved a table for two people. When we arrived, almost every table was occupied. Unfortunately the tables are very narrow. The background noise was enormous. Since we had already been to Monos, Fritzlar several times, we knew the menu. Drinks and food were taken up quickly and arrived quickly. We had a grill plate, salmon with salad and sweet potatoes. The food was delicious. All in all good, but we prefer to go to Fritzlar because we like the service and the ambience better there.

Disappointing visit - never again! There were several of us at Caffè Monos in Baunatal and we were completely ignored. No “hello”, no service – just nothing. After a long wait, we spoke to the manager (a short man with a very unfriendly demeanor), but instead of an apology, all we got back was stroppy arrogance. That's not how you treat guests. That was definitely the last time for us. Absolutely not recommended!

The service was consistently attentive, friendly and quick. Our wishes were fulfilled without hesitation and the food was not only ready to serve, but also a real highlight in terms of taste. If you're looking for good food, friendly service and a harmonious atmosphere, this is the place for you. A clear recommendation – we would love to come back!

On top of the first impression, which was very nice, the drinks were also wonderful and nothing to complain about. The food (a bowl) was so bad that it spoiled the whole evening. Sorry.. for me once and NEVER again

We would have liked to come in for a drink at 9:45 p.m. on a Saturday, especially because the opening times are stated as “4:00 p.m. to open end,” but if the doors are closed, there are still a few people inside and no one pays attention to you, then the shop doesn't deserve our money. Too bad!

The service was subpar. We sat from 7 p.m. to around 10:30 p.m. and had two drinks each and that was only because we waved the service to the table. Nobody came on their own. The second time, the waiter, who was constantly standing at other people's tables and chatting, said that he was taking a break and that someone else was supposed to come. The food was ok. Because of the poor service alone, we won't spend an evening there again. Too bad 🤷

We (2 people) were kindly informed by a waiter that ALL tables were reserved, even though 5 free tables were obviously free. It would ONLY work with a reservation..?! When we wanted to go to our performance 1.5 hours later (8 p.m.), the restaurant was almost EMPTY! Nobody sat at the reserved tables!! !very disappointing to see that the waiter definitely didn't want to work.

Unfortunately, today for the second time, very disappointed for 2 people, they were sent away. Everything was reserved on every table, all of which were clearly free. There was no reserved sign that every clearly visible table should be occupied.

Great ambience and comfortable seating. The service was a bit "exhausting" (we had moved a table too close to the neighbor. We hadn't moved the table at all. Tried to sell one of us a chicken burger as a cheeseburger, even though he had initially mentioned that it was a chicken burger. After he couldn't get rid of the chicken burger, it suddenly became the cheeseburger he ordered 😂 Ultimately, the cheeseburger he ordered with bacon came without bacon. We (6 people) had to wait a long time for the drinks. As far as the food is concerned, the price-performance ratio is not justified. Sparsely topped hamburger with frozen patty (shame about the delicious buns) and €4.50 for frozen fries.

So today on January 10th, 2025 an Asian man served me and my girlfriend. He treated us so roughly that it's no longer possible!!!!

Always my pleasure. Great burgers and a very nice staff. Rating adjusted after change. This still has my rating with 5 stars!!!!! That was for the High Noon Bar and not for the Bloom here. The nice cinema charm is gone, the food is way too expensive and not nearly as good as it was back in the High Noon Bar, at least that was my last experience. I would like to try it again and would be happy to adjust my rating again. I really hope so because I was a regular customer back then with my bulldog (Günther) and my wife. We were there 3-4 times a week, even if we just drank a cocktail or a cola. Cinema and High Noon Bar was just a great time. I hope she comes back. But I think that unfortunately you will only skim the review.
