Unfortunately I only give it one star, why with all the positive reviews? I find the way table reservations are handled impossible. We reserved a table for 4 people at 6 p.m. We got to the restaurant at 6:07 p.m. By the time the waiter welcomed us, it was 6:12 p.m. When we arrived we were first told “I'll take a look and then tell you how long you have the table for”. After checking, we were informed that the table had been given to someone else. We weren't there at 6 p.m. sharp. We were really shocked - we're talking about 7 minutes into the Christmas season when the neighborhood is full to no end. Due to the traffic situation, the search for a parking space and the crowds, we were 7 minutes late at the restaurant. We should have called and let them know we were late. Sorry, but why do I fill out the contact details when making a reservation? Nobody called me. I know in the catering industry that there is a grace period of up to 15 minutes. There is no goodwill here. In this day and age, I can understand it if you reduce your grace period or no longer have it. Many people definitely don't cancel their reservations and from what I saw, the restaurant isn't huge either. You need a certain amount of workload. It's all ok. But then just point it out. A note in the booking confirmation that you have to be present at the time, otherwise the table will be given to someone else would be helpful and would prevent trouble. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food and I don't think we'll try it again.

Everything about the restaurant was perfect apart from how expensive it is. But the foods were delicious and the staffs nice

Food was mediocre. Staff were slow even though it was quiet. I asked for gluten free and was assured by the waitress but I wasn't confident. I felt sick within 5 minutes of finishing the meal so know there was gluten in it somewhere. Lucky I'm not a coeliac.

Right from the start, the boss insulted us as Nazis and threatened to throw us out of the restaurant because we allegedly whistled some Nazi song. We have completely distanced ourselves from it and are not even close to this opinion or this philosophy. We just wanted to have our Christmas party food in our group and were pushed into a corner that was totally strange to us. We had to calm down the waitress and ask them to calm down and believe that we just wanted to eat. Unfortunately, this completely ruined the mood that evening. The food was ok, nothing special but definitely OK. Unfortunately for us, given the overall circumstances, it was a complete disappointment. And we have enjoyed being guests all over the world.

Super nice service. Interested, but not pushy. The food was incredibly delicious. It's not a very big place, so it's advisable to make a reservation. I would definitely come back next time I visit the Reeperbahn.

Basically, it's a cool shop with an exciting menu that offers a wide selection to suit every taste. There are 12 international tapas-style dishes, creative vegan dishes and also classic standard dishes such as different versions of fries and various meat dishes. The tapas can be ordered individually or as a combination of three or five dishes. There were four of us who ate there and each of us ordered three different tapas, which were supposed to fill you up. There was also a portion of fries, sweet potato fries and two dips. For two people, the food was good or okay, especially with our vegan companion. However, there was a problem with the other two: one of the components was obviously bad (fermented). The service took back and canceled the affected portion, but initially did not offer us an alternative. After another check in the kitchen we were then asked if we would like anything else. However, since we had already lost our appetite, we declined. The fries filled the gap, but neither the regular nor the sweet potato fries were crispy. The dips, which cost 2.80 euros extra, were so small that we had to eat the rest of about half of the fries without the dips. When paying we noticed that only one tapa had been taken off the bill. In order to have the other one canceled as well, I had to ask twice and only at my insistence was a portion of fries canceled instead for “billing reasons”. Unfortunately, the food and the overall impression did not live up to what we had hoped for. Maybe we were just unlucky, but in professional catering you can't serve anything that's bad or fermented. The chef should regularly taste and taste his ingredients and creations. What sounded creative and delicious was actually just mediocre - both in quality and execution. Personally, that didn't convince me. Another point concerns the felt sets on which the dishes were served. Since the plates were very small and full of the three tapas, toppings often fell onto these sets, which obviously didn't have leftover food on them for the first time. These felt sets, which cannot be washed but constantly come into contact with hands and arms, have no place in the dining room as they are unhygienic. It would be advisable to dispose of these.

Very welcoming interior. It is modern and brightly furnished. You will be warmly welcomed here and served in a very friendly manner. The food is top class at a reasonable price. The only irritating thing is the surroundings of the restaurant, if you go out straight after the delicious food, you'll find yourself in the red light district. Today we spontaneously went to Hamburg and walked along the Landungsbrücken. Since we were hungry, we looked for a restaurant nearby. The choice is much on Hidden Kitchen. We called (recommended) and reserved a table. We were warmly welcomed and shown to the table. After we ordered and our drinks (cocktails) and food arrived, we immediately knew THAT was the best choice!! EVERYTHING we had was super delicious! Chicken burger, pulled burger, baked avocado, fries and dolly beefster (a culinary delight) And a really big thank you to our waitress Wicky 🫠 We'd love to come by again (in 😂)

We absolutely loved the menu and made our way to the restaurant. When we arrived, we stood briefly in the entrance area of ​​the restaurant (with only 2 occupied tables) and when we noticed that no one was there to take us, even though there were 2 people at the counter, we sat down at a free table. It took quite a while before we were spoken to. Instead of greeting us in a friendly manner, we were immediately told that next time we shouldn't just sit at a table because then we wouldn't be noticed. And the waitress also didn't like the fact that we got a menu from the neighboring table in advance (which was completely empty). After thinking about it for a moment, we got up and left because we found the start extremely unpleasant.

Great restaurant right around the corner from Davids Wache We had reserved a table for four people and our dog. Since there wasn't much going on early in the evening, we had almost free choice of seats, which was very friendly. The first drink we received was a water bowl for our dog. Very attentive, thank you very much! What should we say? All food and drinks are highly recommended! We were both vegan and flexitarian. Everything, really everything we had was / is recommended! After an escape room event with colleagues, we enjoyed our evening here. The service was great, the waitress was very friendly and attentive. From the avocado crissinis to various burgers and various side dishes, we were thrilled. The side dishes have to be ordered separately, but the portions are large. If we had known the size beforehand, we would have ordered a portion for two people each. Unfortunately, there was far too much left. We'll be back!

We tried different ones and unfortunately we were brought the wrong beer. We noticed that, but didn't say anything. Shortly afterwards the waitress came, apologized and brought a new glass, even though my husband had already almost emptied the first glass. We didn't have to pay for the second glass. A little later after dinner we ordered espressos and it took a little longer, which we didn't think was too bad. Didn't say anything about it either. In many of the restaurants we went to, it's a different story: you wait too long and there's no apology or anything for free. You pay too much for that. Here it is not the case. Dinner in the HIDDEN KITTCHEN restaurant, Friedrichstrasse 1 / Davidstrasse. Whether with meat or without, vegetarian or vegan, there is something for all tastes. The food was very good, whether it was BBQ ribs or another dish from the extensive menu, it was a very tasty, extensive selection. The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the service was also very nice and quick. Unfortunately the food was very mixed. The vegan lasagna made from wonton dough, baba ganoush and orange dressing was something different, really creative and very, very tasty. The ribs, on the other hand, were mediocre at best. They were cooked and then baked in the oven with sauce. Unfortunately they were a mixture of almost structureless cooked to death (middle) and tough/dry (edge). Unfortunately, it doesn't taste particularly smokey ("smokey" according to the menu), but rather generic. I don't understand the previous reviews. Unfortunately, this can be done much better and is not appropriate for the price (€18 for 500g, i.e. around €24 with fries/dip). I would like to come back for the vegan/creative dishes. Probably not for the meat dishes.

Two stars for the food and service. However, we had to wait 1:45 for our main course. When we asked several questions, we received several answers. First it was the overloaded kitchen, then a forgotten order, then it was an oven that was too full. To accommodate us, we were only offered a schnapps or coffee, although the service offered to take care of a price reduction. I like to wait when I eat or go out, I'm not on the run, but that was pretty bad.

A nice restaurant with potential. The two girls in service give their all and are very nice, but unfortunately a bit overwhelmed. We had to wait a long time for the plates to be cleared and new orders to be placed. The table next door even called the restaurant and asked if anyone else was coming to clear it away. Food was good 👍 something different! There was probably a bartender missing as the two of them did everything themselves. The dishes were piled up behind the counter. Conclusion: gladly again but probably not on a Saturday evening!

Reserved a table for 2 people last night at 7 p.m. Were then quickly placed. That was it: 2 non-smiling ladies coughing into their hands were quite overwhelmed with their guests. Well, we weren't like that and asked for the menu at the next table after 20 minutes. Drinks and food already selected... but again... nothing. Attempts to make eye contact were unsuccessful. We finally left after 35 minutes.

Leckeres Essen und freundliches Personal! Die Getränke haben ein bisschen länger gedauert als gewohnt.

Der Service war mega. Freundlich, schnell, nicht aufdringlich aber irgendwie 'nah'. Hat mir gut gefallen. Das Ambiente ist etwas speziell, aber in sich stimmig. Essen .... ach ja. Warum muss man bei einem Hähnchenburger die Filets noch panieren? Es war irre salzig, als hätte jemand abwechselnd ins Salz- und Glutamat-Fass gegriffen. Die Pommes waren rot vor lauter Würzmischung. Wir hatten am Tisch auch Vorspeise-Variationen. Die sahen völlig identisch aus, waren alle aus der Fritte und ebenfalls völlig überwürzt. Wahrscheinlich hatte der Koch nen schlechten Moment. Eigentlich ein toller Laden, aber bei uns war der Zonk dabei. Vielleicht versuchen wir es im neuen Jahr nochmal. Der Cesars-Salat als kleine Vorspeisen-Portion war ganz ok.

Have been here two times.for a private company event and can confirm that the service is impeccable and the staff extremely friendly, and the food is really great. Both starters and main courses are amazing with a different kind of preparation and simply delicious.

Lisa und Ihr Team sind warmherzige Gastgeber, das Essen hat allen sehr geschmeckt. Weiterhin ist anzumerken, dass die Akustik sehr angenehm ist und Konversation nicht gegen eine unangenehme Geräuschkulisse geführt werden muss. Jederzeit wieder gern!

Klein aber sehr fein. Ein kleines Eckrestaurant das sehr modern und stylisch eingerichtet ist. Die Speisekarte ist sehr klein, was aber nicht schlimm ist sondern eher für das Restaurant spricht. Sessional gibt es Themen zum essen, bei uns war es jetzt die Weihnachtszeit. Die Bedienung waren super freundlich und für Kiezer Verhältnisse locker drauf, genau was man erwarten kann. Preis- Leistung top und Reservierung nicht vergessen. Gerade am Wochenende.

Delicious food and cocktails. Friendly service and English speaking. Vegetarian and vegan friendly - even my non-vegetarian colleagues loved the vegetarian dishes they ordered. Be sure to make a reservation for dinner as it is close to the theatres so busy. I highly recommend the beet risotto.

Schneller, netter Service und ausgefallene, durchweg leckere Tapas, (welche es mit der neuen Karte bald zunächst nicht mehr geben soll). Hauptgerichte (hauptsächlich Burger) probieren wir dann nächstes Mal.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe (11 Personen) vor Ort. Vorweg gab es die Köstlichkeiten, die vorbestellt waren. Super lecker! Auch die Hauptgerichte waren total lecker. Getränke kamen schnell, Service auch sehr nett. Wir kommen wieder!

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant, mit sehr freundlichen und fürsorglichen Servicepersonal, toller Thekenbereich, auch künstlerisch wird einem vom Anblick was geboten. Essen war sehr schön angerichtet, auch Getränke waren zügig am Tisch. Essen war hervorragend. Rund herum war es für uns ein gemütlicher Abend.

Fantastisches Lokal mit super freundlichem Personal und grandiosem Essen zu wirklich angemessenen Preisen. Beim nächsten Hamburg Besuch steht es definitiv auf meiner Liste. 👌
