Hetzenbäumle BEI JANKO in Ulm

We were looking for a sunny table outside. They spontaneously opened the outdoor area for us. Charming atmosphere, interesting menu, delicious food. We'll be back!

We went there with a leisure group for a St. Martin's Day goose dinner, and the food was very tasty. However, we were disappointed that, at a price of €42, not everyone received their own individual plate. This caused some discontent within the group. With 10 people, it's impossible to put two platters of goose on the table; there was enough meat for the four people at the back of the table, but unfortunately not for the six at the front. At that considerable price, they should really make the effort to provide each guest with their own individual plate.

Reopened a few months ago under new management, offering a delicious, down-to-earth (small) menu at very reasonable prices and friendly service. Specials change weekly.

Their improvised food made me keep myself away from my phone and from my glass of wine. It was unintentionally, I was walking around and I just found them. And I loved it. Viele Danke.

There is much more to be expected than is included… not for me anymore!
