We enjoyed the food. The starters, spring rolls and wantan, were quite crispy. The main dish looked small but was a large portion especially after the starters. The food was quite delicious.

Disastrous experience – never again! Rarely have such bad Vietnamese food been eaten! My Phở bò with beef fillet strips was lukewarm and a disappointment in terms of taste. No trace of fresh herbs or Thai basil - an absolute no-go for a real Phở! Lime and chili were only available upon request, as if someone had forgotten them or wanted to save money. My wife's food was even worse: served cold! Only after we complained was it carelessly warmed up in the microwave - that speaks for itself. The atmosphere? A nightmare! Deafening, inappropriate music made normal conversation impossible. The decoration has absolutely nothing to do with Vietnam, loveless and completely out of place. Conclusion: Bad food, bad service, horrible atmosphere - once and never again!

Mega tasty, great staff. The only problem is that the store is constantly full due to its high quality and low prices. As a result, a generally loud and crowded atmosphere leads to a slightly uncomfortable feeling. In short: it is not a restaurant for casual conversation, but one for having fun and enjoying good food.

We had a fantastic evening at Mr Dang and can highly recommend the restaurant! We were warmly welcomed as soon as we entered, and the stylish ambience immediately created a pleasant, feel-good atmosphere. Our culinary journey began with delicious starters that were not only a visual delight, but also tasted impressive. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors perfectly balanced – a great start to the evening. The absolute highlight was the sushi plate: a beautifully presented selection of high-quality sushi, where you can immediately taste the freshness and quality. The combination of perfectly cooked rice, fresh fish and creative flavor nuances was simply sensational. The desserts were also a real experience. Prepared with great attention to detail, they offered the perfect sweet end to our dinner. Not only was the food first class - the service was also excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly and professional without being intrusive. Our Aperol Spritz was perfectly mixed and rounded off the overall picture wonderfully. An all-round perfect evening with excellent food, great service and a lovely ambience. We will definitely come back and can fully recommend Mr. Dang!

The food was very tasty and typically Vietnamese. The service was friendly. On the negative side, I have to say that the music was a bit disturbing and we sat on benches without backrests. But overall positive, we will definitely come back.

You don't usually need a reservation. Seats are not really comfortable. Our table wobbled, it was annoying, but it didn't bother us in the end, but that shouldn't happen. Unfortunately, it takes a long time until you can order something, even though there would be enough staff there. Food is okay (grade 3) but nothing special in terms of taste. It took over 20 minutes before we could pay, even though employees were calmly cleaning the tables and walking back and forth. I found that very, very counterproductive. You really have to properly train and train the staff here so that you can move forward. The menu is very clear, which I found to be a positive. Overall there is still room for improvement.

The seats are uncomfortable, beer garden style, very loud, pop/hip hop music is playing here, very unusual for an Asian restaurant. The staff is inattentive and takes a long time until they finally come and take an order. You quickly lose track when there is a lot going on.

Best sushi in Reutlingen. No. 32 is also highly recommended! Food is really fantastic. The mint lassi is a dream! Unfortunately, card payment is often not possible. That's a bit annoying. Everything goes smoothly except paying 😂 As soon as the food was served, the staff forgot something. But the food is worth it all!

I always enjoy being here. With friends, your partner or your parents, it doesn't matter, it's always nice there! Food is great and fresh. Depending on the day and time, it can be very crowded and the environment may be very noisy. If that doesn't bother you, you can also come during peak times. Food comes quickly and portions are good. Reservations on the main days are definitely recommended.

The food tasted very good. The second drink we ordered after the meal was forgotten to be served and after the plates were cleared we were ignored until we paid. The whole thing had something of a mass production feel to it. It's actually a shame

Disappointing – closed early! I am absolutely disappointed with this restaurant. According to the opening times it was supposed to be open, but when I arrived today everything was already closed. No notice on the website or on the door as to why it closed earlier. It's not the first time I've experienced this and it's just frustrating when you rely on the opening times and make the extra journey only to find yourself in front of closed doors. If you can't stick to your opening hours, you should at least adjust them or at least communicate in advance. You definitely won't gain regular customers that way. It's a shame, but that was definitely my last visit here!

I recently visited Mr. Dang for the first time. The food was super fresh and very tasty. I don't think the seating is that great... it has something of an upscale beer table set... unfortunately you get the feeling that the host doesn't care about making you feel comfortable, but rather about making you leave as quickly as possible after your meal..

I am always amazed by the excellent food and exceptionally friendly service. The dishes are always fresh and taste first-class. The warm atmosphere makes every visit a pleasant experience. An absolute must for lovers of Asian cuisine.

It's a shame that I was only able to discover Mr. Dank through friends last week. They've probably been there for years! Therefore shame on my thinning head! I just liked everything here. The menu is truly impressive and the food was very tasty across the board, but the portions were also large. So keep an eye out when ordering quantities :) Normally, Asian restaurants tend to be, well, how do I put it...cheaply furnished. None of this applies here. There was certainly an interior designer at the start here. In short: food great, atmosphere great, service super friendly. And the prices are absolutely reasonable. We'll definitely be back very soon! P.S.: The bakery 10 meters away when you walk into the building (Beckabeck?) can also really do something. Very good organic quality.

Hello first of all, I've been waiting for my drink for 30 minutes now, while the couple next to me are already eating AND drinking. That's not possible for me, but the last few times the food tasted very, very good

Terrible experience. The wrong food came, when asked the waiter he said "Sorry, it's still okay, new food will take 30 minutes". Okay, before I have to let my partner eat alone... Unfortunately there was no discount or anything, so there wasn't a cent tip. In addition, the portions are an absolute joke, my husband wasn't even remotely full, the few noodles fit into a hollow tooth.

After not living in Reutlingen for a while, today I was back with Mr. Dang for the first time. Even though I arrived super late and after the kitchen had closed, they accepted my order and were incredibly friendly. I have always loved Mr. Dang because the food was very tasty and special, but today I had a really commendable experience with the service in your restaurant and I would like to thank you again. Great terrace on the banks of the Echaz, dishes are very appealing and tasty Unfortunately, our calculation wasn't correct at first. There were two of us there and we noticed that we were being charged €20 too much. When we pointed this out, the money we overpaid was given back to us in cash. It was an oversight on the part of the operator.

Good cuisine with good quality dishes, price/performance is very good, portions are sufficient. Service has room for improvement, it can definitely be improved, but the employees are very friendly. Sometimes very loud background noise (due to construction)! Seating is intended more for short stays (wooden benches without backrests and cushions).

The location is and remains beautiful, especially on summer days. Unfortunately, the food has lost a bit of its flavor over the past few months. The reason why I won't visit Mr. Dang anymore: even after years they haven't managed to introduce card payments. At the beginning of the year it was possible 1x(!!!). When we were back on site a week later, only cash payment was accepted again. When asked, they said “last week was card week, this week is bar week again.” And because of a few% fees, I won't support that anymore. Then the guest is probably not worth it…

Great service with very friendly staff. The taste of the sushi was 10/10, and the other dishes were also good. The ambience is nice and has something unique about it, but after a certain time the seating without cushions and without a backrest is no longer comfortable. Otherwise we like coming here.

Schnelle Bedienung, leckere Sushi, Reservierung klappt immer reibungslos. Meine Favoriten sind die Fried Rolls und die gibt es nirgends so lecker wie hier. Auch die Ente ist gut, besonders die Sauce. Zutaten sind immer frisch. Die Portionen sind riesig, fast schon zu viel.

At Mr. Dang you can eat the best sushi in town. But the Pho' soup and other Asian dishes don't disappoint either and taste almost like the original. The quality of the food is very good. The service staff is friendly.

The ‘Herr Dang’ in Reutlingen offers Asian dishes at affordable prices. We often order takeout, especially the baked duck with fried noodles, as this is my son's favorite dish. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star because the restaurant only accepts cash payment, which I no longer think is appropriate these days. Although I understand that card payment fees can be a burden for the restaurant, it still reduces the convenience for me as a customer who predominantly pays using cashless methods. I also prefer takeaway as the bench seating is not comfortable for me. Despite these small criticisms, 'Mr Dang' is recommended because the food is very good and the price-performance ratio is right!

Sehr große Auswahl auf der Karte. Haben uns zu zweit schnell für das Menü für 2 Personen (ca.46€) entschieden. Der Mangosaft war vorzüglich und das Dssen kam schon nach 15-20min warten. Jedoch kamen wir Samstags und trotz Reservierung war es rappelvoll. Obwohl wir relativ weit hinten neben der Bar saßen war ständig ein kalter Windzug der uns schnell zum frieren brachte. Das Sushi war sehr schön mit Licht, Dampf etc. angerichtet und von der Menge völlig ausreichend. Als Nachtisch bestellten wir noch gebratene Ananas mit Vanilleeis was sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Bis unser Rechnungswunsch entgegen genommen wurde verstrichen fast 20 min, da es wirklich voll war und viele Leute auch Bestellungen abholten. Die Damen Toiletten waren sauber aber 2 Kabinen und der Vorraum eindeutig zu eng und zu wenig für solch einen Andrang. Ich komme trotzdem gerne wieder, da das Sushi qualitativ sehr hochwertig war und man keine Bauchschmerzen etc. danach hatte!

Sehr ansprechendes vietnamesisches Restaurant, super netter junger Chef, freundliches Personal. Das Essen, egal ob Sushi oder Pfannengerichte (Gemüse, Reis, Nudeln, Fleisch, ...) absolut frisch und geschmacklich in sehr natürlicher Weise. Dieses Restaurant ist mit kaum einem anderen Asiaten/Vietnamesen zu vergleichen.

Waren schon häufig dort und immer sehr zufrieden. Mussten jetzt aber am vergangenen Samstag lernen, dass eine Reservierung offensichtlich nichts mehr wert ist, denn wir haben trotz Reservierung keinen Platz bekommen. Als wir pünktlich zur Reservierung kamen haben sie uns weggeschickt und gebeten, wir mögen in 30 Minuten noch mal kommen, Und dann war doch nix.....Schade!

Katastrophe der Laden! Reservierung ist wohl ein Fremdwort für Sie. Da steht man mit noch weiteren 10 Gästen die auch reserviert haben und man wird einfach von dem Personal ignoriert. Ihr macht euch so lächerlich. Normalerweise begrüßt man die Gäste und redet mit ihnen wann oder ob man überhaupt einen Platz bekommt. Ich meine, aus welchem Grund reserviert man, wenn zu der reservierten Zeit das Restaurant mehr als überfüllt ist?! Stattdessen läuft das Personal 10 mal an den wartenden Leuten vorbei und schaut einfach weg, als gäbe es sie nicht. Es standen so viele Leute da, die gewartet haben, sodass Leute das Restaurant kaum verlassen oder betreten konnten. Hat aber niemand da drin interessiert 😂 Vor drei Jahren fast genau das gleiche Erlebnis und ab jetzt werde ich definitiv nie wieder ein Fuß in diesen Laden setzen und auch den Leuten in meinem Umkreis davon abraten. Am liebsten minus 10 Sterne

Wir haben kurzfristig Geburtstag mit 17 Personen gefeiert. Kein Problem ein paar Stunden vorher für so eine große Gruppe zu reservieren, obwohl der Laden an Abend wieder sehr gut besucht war. Essen war ein Traum auch für unsere Nicht-Sushi-Liebhaber und den Kindern. Personal einfach unfassbar kinderlieb und zuvorkommend

Ein tolles vietnamesisches Restaurant! Wunderbare Auswahl großartiger Speisen, es gibt vietnamesische Gerichte und auch Sushi. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, die Preise sind angemessen. Am Wochenende empfiehlt es sich, vorab einen Tisch zu reservieren. Das Parkhaus ist nur wenige Meter entfernt.

Wie kann Gemüse so gut sein ? Sowohl die Gemüsesuppe, als auch Gemüse mit gebratenem Hühnerfleisch mit etwas frischem Koriander war ebenso hervorragend wie der Tee. Schönes Ambiente, etwas harte Sitzbänke und etwas laut. Service sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder. Für abends vorher zu reservieren ist empfehlenswert.
