Every time we're in Lörrach, we visit Hernsn ze German. Friendly, and the food is very good. I'll be back.

As a true foodie, I'm thrilled and happy to have discovered this institution in the beautiful city of Lörrach. While the brand originated in southern Baden, it achieved cult status in London with currywurst and sausages from the Black Forest. The menu is simply fantastic! I ordered the excellent, hearty vegan currywurst with fries and, as a conscious balance, the healthy powerfood salad. This modern mix is ​​absolutely delicious. I'd love to come back if my journey takes me to this region from Freiburg.

I love a good burger, and even though Herman ze German became famous for his currywurst, they're the best burgers in our region for me. Whenever I visit Lörrach, I always plan a visit there. The motto here is "small but perfectly formed." I think they've turned their corner of the shopping mall into something truly beautiful. I could also imagine a dedicated restaurant for the location. The portions aren't exactly big enough for a big appetite. But the quality and taste are 105% spot-on. Their onion rings are also simply fantastic.

I wanted to take a look at the website to see what they have, but I can't use the website because I can't click away the information that the store delivers in an hour.

⸻ I used to be very satisfied with Hermanz. In my opinion, the burgers were initially among the best anywhere. However, the value for money is no longer there. The burgers have become smaller, and the quality has declined. The service also leaves a lot to be desired: Orders are often forgotten, and emails—for example, if a burger is missing—are not responded to. At current prices, I would expect significantly better taste and more reliable service.

We went to Hermann German for lunch and had a burger – and were absolutely thrilled. The burger was freshly prepared, juicy, and flavorful. The extra ingredients, like the salad, were particularly fresh and outstanding. You can tell they place a premium on quality. Overall, a highly recommended place for all burger lovers – we'd love to come back!

The ambiance was okay, a bit dirty, and the table wasn't cleaned. The prices were absolutely insane: €10 for a tiny cheeseburger with no side order and no drink. I wouldn't do that to even my worst enemy. If you don't want to throw your money away, then forget about this place. The nerve!

Probably the only reason to be in this sad little town that has no trees, any redeeming features, but plenty of concrete. Food 10/10 ; service 8/10 ; atmosphere- great if you like 1960s shopping malls. Toilets 1/10 - hold it if you can. Warning: do sit in the wrong place , the various bars guard their places.

The worst burger I've ever eaten – I want my money back! I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken Burger today and I'm really pissed off. This thing was an absolute disaster. The taste was a disgrace, and the quality wasn't even worth it – it was just bad. Shortly after eating, I felt extremely sick, vomited, and lay prone for hours. I felt nauseous, couldn't eat anything, and felt absolutely terrible. It wasn't just disgusting, it was a health risk. I want my money back – that's just unacceptable!

Best burger shop in Lörrach! Great for a quick bite, not too fancy, not too "McDonalds-y" - just like a burger joint should be. Casual atmosphere. I can highly recommend the fried pickles. And you can also get currywurst here!

Still holding the title of best burger I have had in Europe and Singapore. Hands down. But what made the dining experience even more memorable this time was getting served by the young man by the name of Mio. As per tradition, someone buys the panhandler at the fountain with his two dogs, a burger, sweet potato fries and a drink if coming at lunch time. Knowing who it was for, Mio got the order on special order, and in double quick time. And once I got back, I got the same for lunch too. Kindness is a choice!

The Herman Burger was very good, service was great and quick too. The atmosphere is unfortunately so semi-mall, but otherwise really very good!

Eaten deliciously! Fine and cheap. Friendly, uncomplicated service and we were able to find a place on Saturday lunchtime. A sink for washing hands before and after eating. Super! We'll definitely come back, especially if we have to go quickly.

I had to wait 15 minutes for my currywurst only to be told that it would take another 15 minutes. I didn't get the money back and unfortunately I didn't get anything to eat either. Very disappointing

This is the best burger in the Bern-Freiburg area. I'm always looking for a better burger and I haven't found one yet, not even in London. For this burger I'll even accept the poor, expensive and disastrous parking system in Lörrach on Saturdays. I've just never been disappointed! The ambience is detracted because you share the room with a bar and therefore the volume level is sometimes a little higher.

The burgers are really delicious, unfortunately a bit overpriced. One can only hope that, given the price, the staff is paid decently or that they save money for the next partner dispute :D I order something at least twice a week, but unfortunately there are employees who find it funny to push someone away when they order something. Out of anger, I didn't order anything for 6 weeks. New day New luck. Ordered again, the 3rd order in a week for the same game. In the end I called Amore and ordered a burger, which worked out. There was an onion on the burger and I paid for the burger. Super funny, really. I then looked for the contact on Instagram to clarify it, but unfortunately I never received an answer. Now after 5 weeks of not ordering anything, I called again. Again no one picks up. Called Amore again and was told that Amore had nothing to do with Herman 😂 I'm trying to hold on and not order anything else. I've been to a phone booth before and the service was better there.

Food great price a bit much for the German. Of course, a snap for the Swiss. Unfortunately, all employees are in their free time, sometimes in lingerie and sometimes in undershirts. That does not work like this. I find it more than questionable and inappropriate.

Tasty and unique. We'd love to come back there. The restaurant or the seating area doesn't exactly invite you to linger... but it's quite acceptable to eat inside or outside.

The vegan products taste very good, unfortunately the portions are a bit small and the prices are high, €9.50 for a currywurst is simply too much. The ambience isn't nice, but that's because of the mall. I've had bad experiences with the service staff so far with one young lady, but I was happy with the rest of the service staff.

Habe mich gefreut nachdem ich soviel von Herman ze German gehört habe dort zu essen. Da ich aus medizinischen Gründen glutenfrei essen muss, hab ich mich gleich an das Servicepersonal gewendet und gefragt ob es glutenfreie Burgerbrötchen gäbe. Dies wurde verneint aber mit dem Hinweis das könne ich gegenüber im Drogeriemarkt kaufen ergänzt. Daher entschied ich mich für einen Bohnenburger OHNE Brötchen zum Mitnehmen. Da das Alupäckchen sehr klein war schöpfte ich keinen Verdacht. Zuhause bei meiner Freundin stellte ich dann fest, dass das kleine Patty in einem Burgerbrötchen eingeklemmt war. O.k ich habe keine Zöliakie, das hätte geheißen wegschmeißen, da gesundheitliche Probleme die Folge. Hey hab doch extra mein Problem gesagt! Schnitt dann mein glutenfreies Brötchen auf, Burger drauf, legte das Minisalatblatt, dass höchstens ein Quater-Salatblatt war und hauchdünne Tomatescheibe kaum Geschmack gebend drauf, dafür aber die leckere Sauce, also die welche nicht vom Brötchen aufgesaugt war darauf. Bohnenpatty und Sauce geschmacklich gut, aber hatte das ganze nicht 9;30€ gekostet? schnell vergessen damit´s noch schmeckt! Hey Leute ihr wollt hip und international sein! Dann solltet ihr dringend nachlegen mit Gemüse und Service! Oder umbenennen in Herman ze Schwabe, klar das geht in Baden nicht! Komm ich wieder? mal sehen wohl vielleicht noch einmal mit Brötchen um die legendäre Wurst zu probieren.

Best burgers, best fries, and their thousand island sauce is special. They add fresh pickles to it or something because I always order it on the side for my fries. Every time I go to Lörrach I have to eat here. Even if I’m full.

Vorab das Essen ist wirklich Top beste Burger weit und breit. Aber wer hungrig ist sollte einen dicken Geldbeutel bei sich haben. Über 10€ für einen Burger der wirklich verhältnismäßig klein ist, sind schon happig. Der Service ist sehr schwankend da viele junge Leute mit wenig Erfahrung tätig sind. Das Ambiente ist etwas Bahnhofshallenmäßig sofern nichts besonderes. Zusammengefasst Essen Top, Preise grenzwertig und Ambiente Durchschnitt.

Die Burger sind sehr saftig. Da merkt man sofort das es sich um frische Zutaten handelt einfach lecker.

Essen Recht gut und Preiswert. Personal lässt manchmal etwas zu wünschen übrig. Als WC steht leider nur die Kundentoilette von Rewe zur Verfügung, zu der man relativ weit laufen muss.

Die Burger sind absolut in Ordnung - aber Currywurst gar nicht, zumindest die Sosse. Ich habe mich sehr gefreut, das ich nach dem Schärfegrad der Currywurst gefragt wurde ( im Ruhrgebiet oder Berlin ist das Standard) und ich war mindestens 3 mal sehr enttäuscht . Ich gebe jedem Geschäft eine 2. oder 3. Chance - die Würste an sich sind super. Die angebotenen Sossen sind echt nicht der Burner - Sorry. Currywurst doppelt scharf - da seit Ihr noch lange nicht,ä.

Der Burger war super lecker. Ich würde sagen der beste überhaupt! Bei der Bestellung fragen sie nach Wünschen zb. Wie das Fleisch gebraten werden soll und wie scharf es sein darf. Der Burger ist leider ziemlich klein für den Preis aber hat super gut geschmekt, richtig saftig und würzig.

Questo fast food tedesco offre piatti principalmente a base di wurstel. Purtroppo il menù è poco chiaro, soprattutto per i prezzi. Inoltre è tutto in tedesco ma almeno il personale parla inglese. Consigliata da bere la bevanda Fritz-kola (una coca cola locale). Il locale è carino e giovane.

Herman Bacon Burger 1A! Der Burger könnte nur etwas größer sein. Das Fleisch war Medium (positiv: Bei der Bestellung wurden wir nach dem Gargrad gefragt) saftig, der Bacon sehr knusprig. Das Zwiebel Chutney passt hervorragend dazu. Die Süßkartoffelpommes sind sehr zu empfehlen. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich. ca. 10 Minuten nach der Bestellung kam das essen. Die Currywurst und die Umami Pommes waren gut, aber nichts besonderes.

Wegen Lueila Frey , Sie ist sehr freundlich und das Essen wurde sehr schnell von ihr gebracht !

Schade! Haben eine knappe Stunde auf unser Essen gewartet und entgegen der Aussage der Servicekraft, dass das Essen gerade gemacht wird, keines erhalten. Mussten dann leider das Geld zurückfordern. Eigentlich ein gutes Essen, aber sobald der Laden voll ist, gibt es überall Überforderung.

Super leckere vegane Currywurst mit Pommes...sehr zu empfehlen...und sehr nettes Personal...kleines Update hatten gestern den Superfood Salat und hier muss ich sagen war ich sehr enttäuscht...9,50€ für einen Mini-Salat und den Superfood musste man mit der Lupe suchen...sorry aber das war leider nichts...

Beste Adresse in Lörrach für einen perfekten Burger. Die Patties müssen medium gebraten sein! Gibts sonst nirgends. Leider nur zu Ladenöffnungszeiten erhältlich.

Lecker Burger, Pommes und Currywurst!

Solider Burger, leckere Beilagen und nettes Personal. Gibt nichts zu meckern.

Waren hier schon ein paar Mal und die Burger sind einfach super lecker zubereitet. Die Pommes und Zwiebelringe sind auch top. Zudem sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Kann man nur empfehlen mal vorbei zu schauen.

Wir wollten dem Weihnachtsmarkt entfliehen aber das war leider ein noch schlechterer Tausch. Der erste Eindruck: Schmutzig (Essensreste auf den Böden+Stuhl+Tischen verteilt) obwohl nur ein Tisch besetzt war, die Bedienung sich schon laufen in der Nähe Küche vor Langeweile durch die langen Haare strich. Die Pommes kalt, labberig, nach altem Fett schmeckend und die Wurst unappetitlich, in einem abgeplatzten Emaillierten Teller.

Man soll an der Theke bestellen, um dann vom Tisch verwiesen zu werden. Unglaublich unfreundlich das Ganze und aller tiefstes Niveau betreffend Gastronomie!

Being English I had to try Herman ze Germans, wonderful service paying close attention that their guests, I got the feeling they really cared. I had a large Curry Wurst and chips, there was loads, and it tasted really good. Next time its the Burger :) Highly recommended.

Meine Tochter lobt die Currywurst und den Burger in den Himmel. Also hingegangen und selbst probiert. Alles ok; sehr lecker Burger - für das Geld. Alles einwandfrei. Lokation muss man mögen.

Kann die Bewertungen bzgl. Familienunfreundlich, kleine Bürger und versalzen nur belächeln. Wenn ich von einem Restaurant einen Stuhl beziehen möchte, obwohl ich nichts konsumiere, ist es schon rotzfrech dies im Anschluss noch zu bewerten. Versalzen bzw. befremdlich gewürzt ist auch nichts. Die Menüs haben eine angemessene Größe, jedoch ist es kein 0815 MC Donalds fraß, also hat es auch einen entsprechenden Preis. Vielleicht 1-2€ to much, deswegen auch nur 4/5 Punkte bei der Bewertung. Die Pommes sind durch die Bank weg top. Ob Süßkartoffel oder normal, sie sind beide knusprig und lecker. Die Burger finde ich toll. Das Fleisch ist lecker und gut gewürzt. Das Brot hat ebenfalls eine gute Optik und einen guten Geschmack. Es war vielleicht nicht der beste Burger den ich je hatte, aber er war sehr sehr gut. Auf meinem persönlichen Ranking vielleicht eine 8,5/10. Die Bratwurst meines Sohnes war auch überdurchschnittlich gut. An alle Nörgler kann ich da nur die 99er von MC Donalds empfehlen. Da bekommt ihr viel Müll für wenig Geld

Wir hatten Hamburger und Currywurst beides mit Pommes. Hamburger war wie verlangt Medium, mit dem kross gebratenen Speck dem wirklich leckeren Brötchen und der Sosse, einer der Besten Burger seit langem. Auch die Currywurst und die Pommes waren ausgezeichnet. Endlich mal wieder was anderes als der übliche Einheitsbrei.
