Heppy Green Bornheim - eat fresh in Frankfurt am Main

Super, super delicious (and very large) falafel pita, and the cauliflower starter is also highly recommended. It's very nice to sit outside, it was quick, and the value is excellent!

€60 for two burgers with fries and two drinks is just not acceptable... It was really tasty, but the price blew me away! €16 for the burger alone (without fries) and €6 for the drink. Although the burger tasted good, it's unfortunately not worth it. Especially since the fries also tasted like nothing and were almost burnt. What a shame!

Were here for the first time as a group of four, 2xEggcellent, 1xAvo-Toast, 1xThe Sweet and 1x Everyday Pancakes. Everything didn't blow us away. At Eggcellent there were only two small half slices of bread, 3 more half slices cost €2.90. It was pretty cold in the restaurant, the table top was shaking, the waitress didn't clear away the dishes until we left the restaurant. Prices on the menu on the homepage are no longer correct, but an extra point is deducted. Spartan furnishings.

In short, the breakfast was just bad. Egg Benedic: Bread dry and not toasted. The supposed fresh hollandaise sauce was a store-bought salad dressing. French toast: A dry brioche with ready-made red jelly. The pancake also had three dry slices with red groats. No fresh fruit, no maple syrup. Unfortunately we couldn't eat it. The photos on Instagram are no longer accurate at all. You can't eat fresh here.

Service was very nice and tried hard, the Egg Benedict tasted as sweet as a dessert and overall the food was not appropriate for the price. Furthermore, we waited about 45 minutes for the food.

We've had breakfast everywhere in Frankfurt and now wanted to try Heppy Green. However, we were MASSIVELY DISAPPOINTED. At first the service person seemed uninterested, but later couldn't answer any questions about the menu, or eventually answered them incorrectly. We ordered the Egg Benedict and the French Toast, which turned out to be a dry, thick piece of brioche. The Egg Benedict bread was also neither toasted nor roasted as it said on the menu. The hollondaise sauce was a store-bought salad dressing. After we returned the French toast, we received an even worse pancake. The inside was firm, dry and felt like hard waffle batter. The “fruit of the season” was also purchased groats and frozen forest fruits. Almost 16€ for that???! NEVER AGAIN!

We waited over an hour for our breakfast and asked several times and it still said five minutes. Before we could even order we had to wait 20 minutes because it just never came. I would give minus stars if that existed. It was also very cold in the restaurant and the “freshly” squeezed orange juice was store-bought. An absolute disgrace.

Were here for breakfast. Although the café was quite empty, we had to wait a long time for our food. We didn't particularly like the sandwiches either; the avocado sandwich had an unsuitable sweet sauce. Unfortunately the waitress was very unmotivated and not really friendly. On top of all that, it was extremely cold.

Everything is prepared fresh and quickly, and the ingredients are tasty and healthy. The selection of homemade iced teas is particularly impressive, as they are not only a highlight in terms of taste, but also go perfectly with the dishes. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, and the seating is comfortable and well designed, so you can really feel at home here. It is an ideal place to enjoy a fresh, delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere. A small point of criticism is the price. Even if the quality and taste are really great, you still notice that you have to dig a little deeper into your pockets for relatively simple ingredients like hummus and bread. In the end, you tend to feel full, while the actual main ingredients are portioned quite sparingly. Another point is sustainability: the sauces are unfortunately served in plastic bowls, which is not particularly environmentally friendly and could easily be solved differently in a modern, health-conscious restaurant. Overall, Heppy Green is absolutely worth a visit – for anyone who is looking for something special and values ​​healthy and original dishes. With a few small improvements the experience would be almost perfect!

A very cozy place to stop off. We like to be in Happy Green when we walk from the city to Seckbach. The atmosphere is very cozy, the prices are very moderate. For two meals, a pot of tea and a matcha, we paid around 33 euros including a tip. The tip is worth every cent. The service staff are nice and give you enough time to choose. If you have a special order to eat without an ingredient, this will be perfectly implemented and taken care of. We really enjoy being here ♥️ I would be happy about one or two vegan desserts. Delicious - good spot in Bornheim for brunch

Like most breakfast places, it's quite small, but in my opinion there is an extreme level of noise here. We had an Egg Benedict bread with salmon and an Egg Benedict bread with avocado. Very large breads (which is what you would expect for the price (€15.90 and €14.90)). However, we found it to be “too much of everything” - definitely too much cream cheese and hollandaise sauce; An extremely sour aftertaste with avocado bread. We might come here again to try the “sweet” breakfast dishes, but we wouldn't come back for the bread. There are clearly better alternatives. The cappuccino (1x with oat milk, 1x cow's milk) was good.

We had The Sweet where there were mushy berries instead of fresh fruit and the bread basket was missing from The Turkey and there wasn't one even after asking. Otherwise it was very tasty here even if the prices were high. More than €20 per person. Service was okay. We asked for ice cubes because someone was stung by a wasp and they never came. Went there on Saturday lunchtime and the waiting time was forever, especially for a cold plate.

I can only agree with the last review, we as a group all had stomach aches, stomach cramps and abdominal pain immediately after eating. The food and quality should urgently be better controlled!! Food is not fresh, the waitress told us herself after we waited over half an hour for a piece of cake that this cake needed to defrost first!! Incomprehensible. Overall, we had to wait over an hour for our food despite asking. Worst organization ever, I've never experienced anything like that anywhere. Waiters are all stressed and therefore unfortunately very unfriendly. It's a shame - the look is great but you can forget the rest. We're never coming back!

So after going there for the third time and having a stomach ache after eating every time, I have to keep this as a review. The service and the ambience are always completely ok. But every time we ate there we felt like it wasn't really as fresh as the other reviews here always make out. Some of it was really fresh, but some of it always tasted slightly stale and rotten - but only slightly stale, so we always ate everything because of our hunger. And then again that night; Stomach cramps and stomach pain - like the last few times. We'll never go there again now. Apparently the perishable food is kept in the fridge for far too long and is served to the customer beautifully prepared and easily spoiled.

We had to wait an hour and a half to get half of our order. After almost two hours and asking about it a lot we got the other half, but it was the wrong dish. Understaffed do to illness, but lack of communication is not easily forgiven. Two out of five stars.

There were four of us and we had four different dishes. Burger with haloumi and fries. Burger bun great, haloumi wasn't very crispy, and not hot, probably pre-fried. Otherwise good. The salad with burrata was well prepared, the dressing didn't quite match the taste due to the oil, but that's OK. However, I had hoped for more for the price (€15.90). We also had pita twice. Once with haloumi and once with fried cauliflower. Unfortunately the pita bread is cold, we expected otherwise and this should also be mentioned on the menu. Unfortunately, Haloumi was also cold. Fried cauliflower was very tasty. Unfortunately, both pitas were drowned in hummus, although the hummus was very tasty. As an extra side dish we also had parmesan/truffle fries. We imagined it differently. They were fries with a few parmesan flakes and mushrooms (possibly marinated with truffle oil as a topping). Unfortunately we weren't asked if it tasted good or if everything was OK. Service was very friendly. Nice ambience. For dessert there was “only” Cake from the cake counter, chocolate mousse cake (very dry), cherry crumble, OK. We would test the breakfast again to give it another chance.
