HELIOS Cafeteria in Berlin

Of all hospital cafeterias I've been to, this one is probably the best. Fresh pizza is surprisingly good.

The food in the cafeteria seems like a revelation if you're a regular on the ward. You get the same food served every week (shout-out to the staff who serve the food, they're fantastic). The lunch at Helios borders on assault. There's no choice at all, and they don't cater to vegetarians or anything like that. There's a lot of room for improvement here.

Well, an overpriced hospital cafeteria with small portions. I can only really recommend it in emergencies or if you want fries with a meatball (which was okay). A "cappuccino" (I hardly want to call it that) from a vending machine is a disaster. Otherwise, "Kumo Sushi" on Karower Chaussee is just a few minutes' walk away. A real insider tip for hospital visitors. Or if you want to bring something tasty and healthy for the people you're visiting :)

The food is good, the buffet is very diverse and offers a large selection. No waiting time, the service is excellent, the cafeteria is very spacious, and you can always find a seat, even during peak times. I live in Moabit and enjoy coming here, despite the long commute. But there are a few shortcomings... Mustard and ketchup have to be paid for separately, the portions are too small, a bit overpriced, and the coffee could be a bit cheaper. Otherwise... everything's fine!

I really don't understand it. I just wanted a Bockwurst - €2.60 was perfectly fine, but at the checkout it was €3.10 😡 Extra for the cardboard and mustard.

Actually a typical hospital canteen - but super nice people and the coffee tastes good.

Pleasantly furnished cafeteria with plenty of space, a lounge, and a winter garden. No complaints whatsoever. The staff is very friendly and helpful. THANK YOU!!!

Congratulations on the reopening. I'm thrilled with the cafeteria concept. It's an incredible offering for patients and visitors. You can dine outside in the sunshine or in the modern cafeteria's well-equipped space. I'd especially like to highlight the staff. The employees are very friendly, helpful, and attentive to patients/visitors/guests, offering advice and support. You can truly feel at home here and forget for a moment that you're in a hospital. A large selection of food. It tasted good and the price-performance ratio is also good. Unfortunately, everything is becoming more expensive. So overall we were satisfied.

Terrible service, the people who work here definitely shouldn't be in the catering industry in Ethiopia, especially the gentleman with the bald head has definitely missed the profession in my opinion, absolutely underground.

3€ for a small coffee from the self-service machine, nope, not good, like the taste. Not recommended. Last time had breakfast there. Among other things, egg, rolls, boulette, at least it didn't suit my taste. A boulette should taste at least a little like meat and maybe a little spice and a little roasted flavor would also be great. Everything didn't taste good, it was expensive and some of it was cold. Unfortunately, the price level does not reflect the quality of the food.

When I wanted to buy something this afternoon, I wasn't treated nicely by either cashier. I say hello normally and she said I should wait a moment, which of course isn't a problem. Her colleague asked me if I got anything yet and I said no. She looked at me puzzled and continued with her work. I stood there for quite a long time only to be asked why I didn't communicate with anyone and they both laughed at me and "mocked" me. I don't know if that's how you treat sick people, but I don't think so. Regardless of whether you are sick or not, you should always be treated nicely. The opening times and prices are also absolutely underground. It closes at 4 p.m. and everything is put away and cleaned at 3 p.m.? I don't know...

We spent over 5.40 euros for a small portion of fries with mayonnaise. It's just too expensive. Price/performance ratio is not ok for us. The 2 stars are because the fries were fresh.

The food is pretty okay for canteen food, but the prices are not justified, at least not for the portions. In any case, there is room for improvement when it comes to opening times and especially service!!! I don't know where the "service" employees lost their friendliness and willingness to serve, but there is nothing there, nothing at all. No “Hello”, “what can it be”, no “thank you”, no smile, no empathy, instead nagging and impatience. You don't feel welcome, on the contrary, rather disturbing. And a lot has already been written about the opening times, I think they should definitely be open until 6/7 p.m., there are also people who can only come visit after 4 p.m....

This clinic canteen serves delicious vegetarian lunch dishes. Varied and fresh. People in the Berlin area appreciate this.

Cafeteria opening hours are not acceptable. How can you close at 4 p.m. on weekdays when most visitors come? It's also closed on weekends - you can't accept it, especially since it's such a big hospital.

The unfriendliest cashier I've ever experienced is unacceptable, you shouldn't let someone like that work with sick people! (Better not at all with people)

A large farmer's breakfast for €5.90, you can't say anything about that. You just need to season it.

Food is okay, but everything is way too expensive and the portions are small. Coffee and a bit of salad €7.90, a dish around €13 🙄 And the opening times are underground. Most visitors are here at 4 p.m. Sustainability topic: there's still something going on

Not very tasty and very expensive

Good selection, but that's it. Expensive, portions too small for many, and the taste is hardly better than normal canteen food. Often unfriendly employees, with different rules regarding employee discounts and card payments. It's a shame, because otherwise I'm very enthusiastic about Helios.

What can you say, it's just a hospital cafeteria. A little expensive but not bad either. I've eaten worse.

So leckere vegetarische und vegane Gerichte! Alles preislich im Rahmen. Eine transparente Auswahl mit Wochenplan im Internet! Da uns ein Krankenhausaufenthalt bevorstand wählten wir, auf Grund des guten vegetarischen Essens, dieses Krankenhaus aus. Denn Ärzte sind eh Glücksache. Aber wenn das Essen schmeckt, wird man schneller wieder fit.

Das Essensangebot ist in Ordnung und Vielfältig. Der Geschmack ist auf normalen Kantinenniveu. Allerdings sind die Preise in Kombination mit der Größe der Portionen unzumutbar. Selbst von zwei Hauptgerichten wird man als hungriger Besucher nicht satt. Der Preis liegt jedoch so schon bei über 15€. Auf Anweisung ein bisschen mehr auf den Teller zu machen wird nicht reagiert. So also nicht zu empfehlen!

Eine sehr schöne Einrichtung . Gutes Speisen und Getränkeangebot . Preise sind angemessen.

Das helioskrankenhaus ist schon eine gute Einrichtung wer es nicht kennt verläuft sich erst mal wenn du das überstanden hast und dein Arzt endlich gefunden hast kannst du nicht mehr meckern es ist alles in einem haus vom röntgen mrt notarzt alles vor Ort wirklich super und wenn du dann mal einen Cafe trinken willst gehst du in den großen Speisesaal da gibt es alles Mittag Cafe Kuchen 🎂 Pudding Getränke einfach super

Gute Auswahl, gutes Personal, Portionen oft zu klein. Was mich am meisten erstaunt ist, dass sie unfähig sind, Nudeln zu kochen.... oft verkocht und ungesalzt -> ungenießbar!

Ich habe Kaffee gekauft, aber ich mag süß und ich habe fünf Stück genommen und separat 0,50€ für Zucker genommen, ist das normal?

Ganz OK die Kantine. Aber bitte warum verlangt man für Senf und Ketchup 25 Cent ? Eine Frechheit. Das kostet nun wirklich nicht viel Geld und sollte zu einer Bockwurst oder Boulette dazu gehören. Wie gesagt sonst OK
