Very cool shop, atmosphere is always great. Always happy to come back

We usually really enjoy going to Heising and Adelmann, even to celebrate. Unfortunately our experience was yesterday on October 31st. less pleasant at Halloween. An employee behaved unfriendly towards us. We understand that the job can be stressful, especially on busy evenings like these, and it's not always easy to remain friendly. However, in this case we were not only roughly jostled, but also loudly asked to make room. The employee's behavior also appeared aggressive, which unfortunately made the situation unpleasant. Nevertheless, the local is very great and a very great and nice local to go to party.

Rather uncomfortable restaurant with a questionable color concept and plastic plants. Extremely loud. Really very tasty food. Unfortunately, we were only fully informed about the ingredients after repeated inquiries.

Never experienced a bar that overestimated itself as much as this one. Demanding a dress code on Friesenstrasse, even though you're only in an average bar, is completely unrealistic. However, it has to be said that the audience in the bar is in a similar mood. I've been in there twice now and that was two times too many.

Heising & Adelmann has a lively atmosphere, especially on weekends. Unfortunately, it was so crowded that night that it was difficult to move through the crowd with a cocktail without spilling something. Nevertheless, the restaurant impresses with good music and a pleasant ambience. Ideal if you're looking for both good food and a party atmosphere.

We stayed at Adelmann and Heising two days in a row because we enjoyed our first visit so much. Music, audience and location were just right. We were there in the evening when the back area was converted into a dance floor. Accordingly, I can't say anything about the food - but the menu sounds good and the reviews seem to confirm this. I would also like to positively highlight the gentlemen at the door. Friendly and with a good eye for the audience, so you can celebrate in a relaxed manner. Thank you, this wasn't the last visit!

thank you for two awesome party nights this weekend. We always enjoy coming back to this place once we are in Cologne. Particularly positive: good vibes/music, easy going crowd, friendly staff - even at the door, making a good selection and keeping trouble makers outside.

Came here for a few beers with friends in the early evening. Ordered two beers at the bar. I didn't realize they had a 25 euro credit card minimum. I've never seen such a high CC minimum anywhere in my travels too all of the continents that take credit cards. I decided to open a tab in the hopes I would eclipse that. Tall blonde bar tender girl said I needed to leave my driver's license with her as collateral. I reluctantly gave it to her. Decided to leave and I went to pay my tab. I said I wanted to pay my tab and you have my DL. Bar keep had no idea what I was talking about. Granted I don't speak German so that didn't help. Another came over and they spoke English. I said I wanted to close my tab and you have my DL. He seemed confused. Eventually he asked whom I gave my DL to. I pointed to the tall blonde girl behind the bar. Despite giving her my DL 30 minutes prior she had no memory of this. Eventually, they found my license and were nice enough to comp the two beers. Maybe it was a huge miscommunication due to language but good grief. Having my DL lost overseas would have been a huge inconvenience as would getting it replaced when I returned to my home country. It was super stressful. I shouldn't have trusted them with that and that's on me. As is not speaking German. Zero chance I'm returning here.

It's a disaster. The lady at the door was super unfriendly and the bouncers were just anti-social. We wanted to celebrate with 10 girls but we never experienced anything like that. We'll keep saying it. So serious is different. But if you look at the reviews here. No wonder!!!!!

My regular restaurant & club for years Restaurant which later becomes a club. Unique concept in Cologne. Great audience, great food and great music. A must-have in Cologne!

The bouncer turned away half of our group because we "looked too young" and there was an "event with an older target group taking place today." Meanwhile, the first part of our group was already in the restaurant. They were then forced to leave the location. Addendum: the owner or a commissioned agency seems to be trying to remove the reviews under false suspicion (reason: defamation). Do you really want to go to a restaurant that can't handle criticism?

Our evening in the courtyard of the H&A was a real highlight. The beautifully set table offered our larger group the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed evening in the vibrant, trendy district of Cologne. The menu composition was excellent and impressed us all: creative, sophisticated and with the best ingredients - every dish was a pleasure. The service also left nothing to be desired. Even though we were a larger group, we were served attentively and with a smile. The staff's recommendations further enriched our evening and made us feel really welcome here. The service at H&A is really on point! This restaurant is an absolute recommendation for anyone who values ​​good food and excellent service. We will definitely come back!

Atmosphäre eher Hipp als gemütlich. Gutes Essen, sehr kompetenter Service. Zu späterer Stunde werden die Tische zur Seite gerückt und es darf getanzt werden.

I was here one time last year and it was nice but after that when I want to get inside - they say the reasons that it’s full or it’s not possible, they just select people how they want because some people behind me could go inside. Jedesmal ein Genuss. Die Qualität des Essens und der Getränke top. Das Personal sehr professionell, freundlich zugewandt und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich immer willkommen und wir kommen immer wieder gerne!

My girlfriend ordered vegan and had huge problems because the sauce had milk, the information from the waiter was wrong.

Hatten einen super Abend. Geiles Essen zum fairen Preis. Super Service, coole Leute und abends Mega Stimmung.

Wie immer sehr gutes Essen auf einem konstant hohen Qualitätsniveau. Und ein tolles Tesm mit einem sehr engagierten und freundlichen Service. Ser Bwsuch macht Spaß. Spannende neue Gerichte und auch bewährte Klassiker. Einfach lecker und absolut passendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die wirklich einizige Kleinigkeit, die besser sein könnte, ist die Akustik. Auch wenn es noch nicht voll besetzt ist, ist es doch sehr laut.

I was in your establishment with my girlfriend and husband, but we were denied entry with the reason: "It's not suitable today." When we asked, we were ignored. This is not the first time this has happened. Women after us were also not allowed in. 🤷🏼‍♀️ There were only three of us, from Cologne, sober and appropriately dressed. The behavior of the staff was very rude and disappointing. Based on this experience, we will avoid this restaurant in the future. This is very racist behavior.

Immer wieder ein Erlebnis Sehr gutes Essen und Service und ab 22:30 Uhr Party. Wer so etwas möchte, ein Top Lokal. Auch einmalig in der Kombination.

I have been a guest at Heising & Adelmann several times. It was actually always a very nice and pleasant place. However, that has changed recently as mostly only young people are allowed in, which makes the store completely overcrowded. Unfortunately, it seems as if people only pay attention to quantity and no longer to the image or the well-being of the guests. It would be nice if we could get a mix of young and old again.

Did not like it. Neither the food nor the location.

I went there on the 17th of June 2023. Asking you where you're from then denying you entrance cause "it is full" yet letting people in right after. I did not know this was a 'german only' place. I clearly do not recommend this place. Beautiful, but you should consider changing the bouncer.

Unfortunately 1* because the bouncers, especially Shako or whatever the guy's name is, are very professional! Despite good wardrobe and advance tickets, we didn't get in. We traveled an extra 100km! Better go party somewhere else & spend your money somewhere else! Cologne has many other beautiful clubs!

I had dinner with two friends at Heising&Adelmann and we were impressed by the quality of the food. Also worth mentioning is the wine, which not only tasted convincing but was also absolutely fair in terms of price. Despite the full house, the service was excellent – ​​fast, attentive and incredibly friendly. After dinner the place turned into a club and the atmosphere was fantastic. We danced and celebrated until the early hours of the morning. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

Here you can celebrate in a relaxed manner. A mixed audience of all ages and music from the 90s to the current top hits, so there's something for everyone.

I was partying with my partner and her friends at Heising&Adelmann on International Women's Day. Cool place to party in a relaxed manner. The employee with the black earrings at the counter, really cool guy. Friendly, in a good mood and just smiling :). Apparently very popular with the ladies if you look at the queue who want to order from him ;). Our girls were fans too ;P Kind regards, we are the group who ordered 8 whiskey sours from you xD. We'll be back :D

We have just been turned away by the bouncer because there was no physical ID card available. The bouncer was shown a photo of the official document. However, the bouncer refused to take a closer look at this (picture & age) and insisted on turning us away.

Fri/Sat club evening. I'm from Berlin and often in Cologne. Was there several times 2 years ago. Bouncers were experienced guys with humor and knowledge. They knew who they were looking at. Unfortunately, they have now been replaced by pubescent toddlers who come with memorized sayings from the distant past of door politics and, when asked, get entangled in funny contradictions within seconds and cannot hide personal antipathies ("no individual gentlemen, no one we don't know" .. . 🤣, come on, then that means: "are you on the guest list"). I looked at what was being let in, a lot of average and mainstream in outdoor jackets etc. You can ruin a place with inexperienced bouncers without style. Come to Berlin and take a look and learn how it works. And watch the film “Berlin Bouncers” and write to village toddlers with her. It's a shame about the beautiful shop.

What should be special about this location? I found the rooms uncomfortable. And on the evening of my visit I had the impression that there was a very vain crowd here and that there was no good atmosphere. By the way, I shortened this review today and changed a few wordings. Das Essen und die Party waren super. Jedoch kam der Lachs auf Toilette sofort wieder hoch. Der war nicht durch gebraten...

Schönes Ambiente, ausgewogene Karte, mehr veggie wäre schön, toller Service. Leider generell viel zu laut, man schreit sich den ganzen Abend an, und das macht müde. Es sollten dringend Akzente gesetzt werden die den Schall schlucken . Mehr Mut zur Würze, Essen war sehr brav … um es mal so zu nennen.

Although you eat very little with a noble touch for a lot of money, the tables are then abruptly cleared and the oh-so-classy restaurant turns into a disco with loud music and tons of beer. The language used is typically Kölsch so don't expect friendliness. I won't say anything about the bouncers. They're just doing their job, even if they're unfriendly.

We came to dance when the restaurant becomes the number 1 place to end the evening in the city. We had an incredibly good evening! Very pleasant audience and great music! The people from security to the cloakroom are all very friendly and in a good mood. Big praise to the guys and girls behind the bar who make you happy and prepare excellent drinks. Bartender Riccardo created an incredibly good atmosphere and always made us laugh, even though there was a lot going on! Thanks for that! I'm always happy to come back to you!

We - mid-late 40s - wore (expensive) jeans, sneakers and winter jackets. The bouncer, whose clothing I don't want to say anything about, said we were dressed too casually and wouldn't get in!!! Despite asking, no chance, just arrogant blah blah. I have never experienced such arrogance in Cologne. Therefore, I will not visit this location again, either professionally or privately, and I will pass on my experience in exactly the same way. To put things into context: I never write reviews and am a regular in various star restaurants in Cologne wearing exactly these clothes. We then had a lot of fun at another location😄 - but H&A never ever👎

As far as the food was concerned, in my opinion the quality was not in line with the excessive prices. The dishes seemed carelessly prepared and were disappointing in taste. In summary, I cannot recommend the Heising and Adelmann restaurant.

I've been there twice and both times it was great. Mixed, pleasant crowd, I would say 25 years plus, which was great. Music was a bit inconsistent, but the location is cool. You can also “out” into the covered area. Gladly again soon! :)

Very sad, after 2 hours of queuing, only one of us seven girls got in and was still allowed to pay the full entrance fee of €60, even though the rest of us weren't allowed in after her! Without having been there myself, I can't recommend this location during Carnival!

Leider Homophobie erlebt, was von den Angestellten geduldet wird. Nachdem ich zutiefst von einem besoffenen Rechten beleidigt wurde, weil ich anscheinend mich bei der Bestellung vorgedrängelt habe, dies dem Angestellten erläutert und er nur erwiderte :"mir egal".

Nice shop, mixed music, mixed crowd. A little crowded maybe too crowded 🤣 but apart from that it was a great evening I had there. But the store is not cheap, rather expensive. The staff at the counter is nice, at the door so-so. But you can spend really good evenings here.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im Adelmann & Heising gefeiert! Es war toll, erst gab es wunderbares Essen, der Service war tadellos und im Anschluss gab es eine mega Party 🥳, der Laden war voll! Besser geht es kaum... Was mich allerdings sehr getroffen hat war, dass wir, nach unserer Hochzeit, noch nicht mal mehr in den Laden rein gelassen worden sind...Obwohl wir auf unsere Hochzeit vor Ort hingewiesen hatten.. Der Türsteher hat uns (4 Leute) für unwürdig erachtet, während dessen er vor unseren Augen seine Kumpels munter fröhlich rein ließ. Für mich war das schon ein Schlag ins Gesicht, da mir der persönliche Bezug zu dem Restaurant/dem Club, in dem man einen der (hoffentlich) wichtigsten Tage seines Leben gefeiert hat wichtig gewesen wäre! Auf Grund dessen waren wir seit dem auch nicht mehr dort essen oder feiern. Für (unpersönliche) Events also super und nur zu empfehlen!

Ich bewerte hier nur das Cluberlebnis am Abend: Es ist furchtbar eng. Es gibt nur einen schmalen Korridor der gleichzeitig die Theke und den Zugang zu Tanzfläche WC UND Garderobe regelt. Das funktioniert natürlich nicht so gut. Garderobe 2,50€ on top. Eintritt am Samstag 10€. Preise gehoben. Publikum 30-40 im Schnitt, alle Recht schick. DJ fand ich gut, spielt überwiegend House und Classic House Remixe. Unterm Strich aber weder akustisch oder optisch ein Highlight noch geht das Konzept der Wegführung auf. Lange Schlangen vor dem Club zeigen aber deutlich daß es Stammgäste gibt die das nicht stört, das muss am Ende jeder für sich wissen.

Haben zum wiederholten Mal dort unsere Weihnachtsfeier gefeiert. Wie immer Ambiente, Essen und Stimmung super. Service war perfekt. Murat hat einen Bomben- Job gemacht.

Das Adelmann & Heising ist ein Ort den man definitiv besucht haben sollte. Im Restaurant kann man sehr gut Essen und abends bei guter Musik tanzen und lachen. Für mich persönlich seit Jahren eine Bank. Abschließend noch zu erwähnen, dass das Personal durchweg freundlich und professionell ist.

Tolle Location mit fantastischer Tanzmusik. Sehr angenehmes Publikum. Gerade auch zu empfehlen für das ältere junggebliebene Semster. Nicht nur das junge Gemüse, typisch für die Kölner Ringe. Nettes Personal, obwohl sehr voll, schnelle Getränke erhält man an der Theke.

Für meine Freunde und ich gibt es in Köln nur eine Location zum feiern gehen. Das Essen ist wundervoll, ab 23 Uhr werden die Tische vom Restaurant zur Seite gestellt und es kann los werden! Ich habe schon zwei Geburtstage und die Weihnachtsfeier meines Unternehmens hier zelebriert. Wir haben immer eine tolle Zeit: super Stimmung und nettes Publikum. Auch zu Karneval ist es unsere absolute Stammlocation!! 11.11 war dieses Jahr mal wieder unvergesslich. Der DJ hat abwechselnd Karnevalslieder und Mainstream gespielt, was für eine super Abwechslung gesorgt hat. Es war nicht zu voll und die Drinks wurden auch von den Kellnern an der Tanzfläche verkauft. Die Jacken konnten wir sehr schnell an der Garderobe abgeben und wieder abholen. Super Orga! Die fünf Sterne sind mehr als verdient 🤍🤩

Das Heising ist der einzige Laden in dem Ich als Frau wirklich gerne feiern gehe. Das Publikum ist immer angenehm, die Leute an der Tür & an der Bar immer sehr freundlich. Wo immer wir als Mädels feiern gehen, am Ende verschlägt es uns immer zurück ins Heising🫶🏽

Wir hatten einen großartigen Sessionstart!!! Ein riesiges Lob an die gesamte Heising und Adelmann Crew! Das habt ihr super gemacht. Es war voll, aber das erwartet man ja auch am 11.11.! Sorter und Tür haben ihr Bestes gegeben, für ein gemischtes angenehmes Publikum zu sorgen! Es war eine mega gute Stimmung unter den Gästen und durch den Wintergarten gab es immer genug Platz zum „Durchatmen“. Security hatte auch drinnen alles im Blick, so dass ausgelassen gefeiert werden konnte. Das Thekenteam war super flott und trotz hohem Andrang immer freundlich. Wir fanden alles rundum gelungen. Mein einziger persönliches Kritikpunkt: Den ganzen ollen discofever und mambo no5 Quatsch lassen und mehr Karnevalsmusik spielen! Alaaf u ❤️

Seit nunmehr 10 Jahren lebe ich in Köln und von Anfang an ist das Heising & Adelmann aus meinem Leben hier nicht mehr wegzudenken. Ich war schon zu allen Anlässen hier: gemütlich essen, regelmäßig am Wochenende abfeiern, Karneval kommt woanders erst gar nicht in Frage und selbst mit der Firma richten wir nun schon zum zweiten Mal ein Event dort aus. Essen immer top, Service & Freundlichkeit sowieso, tolles Publikum, immer mega Stimmung. Gestern den lustigsten 11.11. ever dort gehabt, 14 Stunden durchgefeiert… ein guter Anlass, um hier mal „Danke“ zu sagen. *****

Ob an Karneval oder am Wochenende, einfach der beste Laden in Köln und ich weiß wovon ich spreche ich bin Kölner! Top Bedienung, super Essen aber auch ein mega cooles Publikum. Nur zu empfehlen und macht weiter so!
