Wonderful evening – great service – we were accompanied throughout the evening with incredible kindness and authenticity (greetings to the half-Palatinate native :-) ). The food (we had the sharing menu) was also extremely good! Thank you so much for this experience.

A super friendly team welcomed us and guided us through the evening. No matter who passed by our table, they refilled our cutlery, refilled our drinks, or explained the individual courses and their ingredients. Simply fantastic. I can't think of anything that could be improved.

We had been recommended this restaurant and were really looking forward to the evening. It had a very cozy, warm atmosphere, a nice place to sit. Neither the drinks nor the vegetarian food impressed us. There was a lot of everything, with no clear pattern. The service, while pleasant, was unfortunately unprofessional and inattentive. We weren't even asked if we needed anything else or wanted a drink – instead, we had to raise our voices every time.

A place to feel good. Because of the people who work there, the spacious interior, the warm lighting. The music isn't too loud, so the noise level in the restaurant doesn't build up, making it easy to have a conversation. The dishes offer interesting flavor combinations and are expertly prepared. If you choose the menu, where all, absolutely all, of the dishes on the menu are presented in appetizing portions for two or more people, you won't leave the table hungry, and you'll also have had the opportunity to sample over 15 different flavors. This is also possible because guests aren't forced into a tight time frame. We stayed for four hours and were able to enjoy the food in peace. To wolf down these dishes in a hurry or even order them to go would be unfair to the kitchen. We will remain incredibly loyal to this place.

We celebrated our wedding here, and it was truly dreamy. All of our guests complimented us on the venue! The food, from canapés to starters, main courses, and desserts, as well as the midnight snack, was absolutely perfect (specially designed to be purely vegetarian and vegan for us), and the drinks were amazing! The organization on the day itself was also fantastic; there was always someone on-site to contact, and all requests were responded to quickly. Many thanks also to Mike and Niko, as well as the entire team. You made our wedding wonderful! The communication beforehand was very informal and relaxed; we were able to share many ideas and work together to find the best fit. Sometimes a phone call or a face-to-face conversation might have been easier, because in email exchanges, people sometimes said one thing first, then another (in my opinion). Price-wise, GeheimTreu is certainly on the higher end of the wedding venue spectrum, but we were treated extremely generously and they were extremely accommodating. We'll be back several times a year and will forever remember our celebration at heimlichTreu. Absolutely recommended for all newlyweds and anyone who appreciates good food!

Nice situation for a balmy evening, and good drinks, but we were disappointed by 3 of the 4.5 dishes we tried. Monk fish (listed as vegetarian???) and side of pasta with chanterelles were good. Rabbit and vegan starter were bland. Taramasalata had nice lox & sea asparagus, but drowned them in a cream. Would be okay for €35 pp maybe.

Beautifully designed garden and interior, excellent service, and truly delicious food. Perfect for a romantic evening or special occasion. The only thing I'd like to see is the portion size and the approach to side dishes: Main courses without carbohydrates and bread alone are available for a reasonable price. The rabbit with sour cherries only included two cherries. But if you're only slightly hungry, you'll be happy. ;)

As part of the 2025 Taste Twelve Berlin book, we came here on recommendation, so to speak. For us, this restaurant represents half of the truly excellent (consistently 5-star reviews) selection in the book and is (so far) the absolute highlight. 10 stars for the ambiance, the dishes, and the excellent service with knowledgeable explanations of each course. The dishes were exceptionally well-matched in terms of taste, with each of the three courses creating its own little explosion of flavor. Accompanied by the aforementioned detailed and knowledgeable explanations from the waiter, it was a very successful conclusion to our vacation. Two thumbs up, keep up the good work! The prices are truly on the high side, but justified for the quality.

Fantastic!! I came on recommendation, and we had the most beautiful spot in the enchanted garden. I felt like I was in Italy. We had the set menu, so the two of us could try all the dishes. Excellent value for money. All the dishes were delicious, and the service was friendly, well-informed, and always attentive. The decor in both the restaurant and the garden was very tasteful, creating a lovely atmosphere in the evening. The cocktails and wines were also great accompaniments. So, all in all, a successful evening, and it won't be the last. And... you can probably just drop by for a delicious glass or two. Perfect.

Insgesamt ein tolles Restaurant, Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft, vor allem die Vorspeise (Maultaschen Morchel) hat uns sehr gefallen! Einen Stern weniger muss ich vergeben, weil meine Hauptspeise ein deutliches Problem hatte: ich hatte eine Kartoffel-Tarte (ich schätze, die Idee des Gerichts war, Kartoffeln auf verschiedenste Weisen zu essen). Neben der Tarte lagen noch frittierte (oder gebratene?) Kartoffeln, die offenbar vom Vortrag waren bzw. vorbereitet wurden. Die waren kalt und haben überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Das hätte ich bei mir zuhause so nicht serviert…. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder und probieren andere Gerichte aus! Bis auf die Kartoffeln war alles sehr lecker!

If so, would have been okay if the waiters introduced the concept.

We had our company meeting and event here. The location is central and easy to get to. The venue itself is nicely decorated, especially the terrace — it has a welcoming feel. A really nice atmosphere and relaxed and attentive staff (although some orders arrived a bit chaotic and disorganized). Unfortunately, the food was disappointing in terms of taste (lamb, for example, was dry, fish = vegetarian?; overall, in our opinion, mediocre at best), and we also felt that something special was missing in the culinary sense. If the bread tasted best in the end, then the value for money can't be right. At almost €90 per person, I think a quick question about satisfaction when paying would be appropriate... Too bad... there are too many alternatives in Berlin where the food is also delicious.

I have a rule of thumb about Berlin: the nicer a restaurant looks, the worse the food will be. This place confirms the rule. The setting is gorgeous with an immaculately designed outdoor area. The food made me feel like I was having lunch at my grandmothers nursing home. The set lunch menu with salad, soup and dessert was served all at once on a tray in tiny little mismatched containers. The “salad” was three boiled pieces of beetroot. The “soup”—a small cup of thin, salty milk. The main dish featured three tough asparagus stalks with what was described as “miso hollandaise,” but appeared as plain whipped butter, paired with dry baby potatoes. There is a lot of potential here with the ambience and care put into the design. But none of that matter if the food doesn’t deliver. It has to taste good.

A wonderful atmosphere - lots of candles and beautiful fresh flowers. The food was very good and unfortunately some things were too sour or too neutral - and the martinis had too strong a coffee taste. But if you sum up the evening: the visit is worth it and it's more of a high-level criticism ;)

The entire evening was wonderful, from the welcome to the aperitif and all the courses. Extremely friendly staff, beautiful interior and a casual yet chic atmosphere. The view of the inner courtyard made me want to sit outside in the summer. The food was fantastic. Some dishes can be made vegetarian or vegan by omitting components. Very pleasant concept, but the relevant information wasn't entirely clear, which was irritating. I would also like it to make a difference in price whether the dish is served with fish fillet or without (vegan). A vegan dessert option would also be nice when there are already such delicious vegan starters and main courses. We'll definitely be back.

A truly wonderful restaurant. The 2nd backyard is a true oasis of peace. Old walls, old trees, very tasteful decoration, beautiful lighting. The food was really delicious and the flavor pairings were creative and unusual. While the starters were a bit uncluttered, the main courses were also so large that they absolutely deserve the name. The staff was very friendly and personable and at the same time extremely competent. The atmosphere was relaxed and relaxed. I would come back at any time and I think that the prices are justified given what is on offer.

The service was just as impressive: always present, yet unobtrusive, friendly and with a pinch of humor - just the right balance to make you feel completely comfortable as a guest. The price-performance ratio is more than appropriate for the level offered. The atmosphere in the hidden backyard restaurant is charming and invites you to linger. We were here two weeks ago and were not disappointed this time either. For anyone looking for a special culinary experience in Berlin, SecretTreu is a clear recommendation.

If there were 3.5 stars, they would be absolutely appropriate. The ambience is beautiful, you sit comfortably, the interior design is absolutely great. Unfortunately, the vegetarian version of the meal had its weaknesses in terms of taste. It was good but not justified in terms of price/performance ratio. But the service was super attentive and really friendly.

Based on the reviews my wife and I decided enjoy dinner at this restaurant. A table was booked and we arrived on time, decided to have an amazing night. However, no table was reserved for us. The staff told us to take a place at the bar and to wait until one table could be available. We decided not to accept it and one person who might be the manager approached us, tried to convince us otherwise and offered us two drinks. Despite this gesture, no apologies were given. We insisted that we have reserved a table. His response, "maybe in 10 min a table will be free". My question, "are you sure?" He replied, "well, perhaps 15 min". But it could be 20, 30 min or more. Furthermore, previously they sent us 3 emails to confirm our reservation. We left immediately with the only taste of a bitter night.

Beautiful restaurant. Comfortable table for 5. Server suggested two tasty wines. The apps and mains were a bit too small, precious, and over sauced. Every dish had 2-3 extra ingredients. They turned the heat off or opened the windows to the cold Berlin night, to not so subtly hint they were ready for us to leave.

In addition, a charming mentalist created a pleasant and humorous atmosphere with an entertaining card game and short stories. The service was – as expected – first class. Das Essen ist ok, aber entspricht eher einer durchschnittlichen Küche. Besondere aromatische Erlebnisse entdeckt man hier eher nicht. Das Stubenküken schmeckt wie Chicken mac nuggets, das gehört nicht in ein Menu für 75 €. Insgesamt wirkt das Essen bemüht einer höherwertigen Küche zu entsprechen erreicht das aber nicht. Entsprechend ist das Preisniveau zu hoch.
