After a sightseeing tour in the submarine and at the Marine Monument, we actually just wanted to have a coffee here. But the two desserts sounded great and so we ordered them straight away. And what can I say - a super delicious dessert!!! Kudos also to the nice, friendly and cheerful waitress - you could tell straight away that she really enjoys her job.

As part of the "Living Museum" themed weekend, my husband and I stayed in Laboe for 4 days. For our stay we chose the traditional Hotel Admiral Scheer, which is connected to the Navy. Our choice was based on the information on the hotel's official website We received a written booking confirmation in advance with the note that we could ask at the reception at 11:00 a.m. whether our room might already be ready. Arriving on site on Friday, April 5th, 2024, we spoke to the Reception and introduced ourselves by name. The lady behind the reception then gave us a form without comment that we had to fill out. When we asked whether the double room with terrace and beach chair was already available, she replied briefly: No. A parking permit was handed out and we were told to go back at 1 p.m Inquire. At 1 p.m., however, we were not welcomed by the lady, but by an older gentleman, although welcome is still a friendly word. Again we introduced ourselves by name and the gentleman gave us a key. This room had been ready for some time Finished. He just said grumpily: Room 24 is in the guest house. He made a very annoyed impression. The room itself was clean and tidy, only the beach chair, which was shown on the website when booking the room as a double room with a terrace, was missing. We had this We deliberately chose the double room because it had the same terrace with a beach chair. We immediately personally informed the man at the reception about the lack of the beach chair. He then harshly told us that it was only available in summer and that it was not the season for it. We rejected this accusation painfully back, since on the hotel's homepage this room category explicitly provides for these services from March 29, 2024 (season B), the claim only applies to season A (1.2. - March 28, 2024). For us this meant no use of the terrace, questions about alternative seating were rejected. If we had known in advance that it would not be possible to use the terrace, especially since the weather forecast was between 18 and 25° C, we would have chosen a different room category. The bad thing: the weather turned out to be nice and it was also impossible to use it The hotel's own terrace was also not possible due to a lack of seating. We then wrote an email for general communication in the hope that the lady from the morning could help us. We did not receive an answer until the day of departure. This Monday On April 8th, 2024 (checkout) we met the lady again and asked why she didn't want to answer us and help. And then the war of words started. We were approached in a tone that was unusual for a hotel and called annoying, rude guests who we don't need anyway and who we could do without. We no longer need to inquire about bookings here either because they are us She would have immediately removed her name from the booking system. We shouldn't let ourselves be seen here again. After all, she would have around 700 hours of overtime and would also have the right to days off and not have to work on the weekend. That's of course a great shame, because both that Staff in the dining room and kitchen They were really very nice and polite, the food was delicious. We would have liked to use the bar shown on the website with our marine comrades in the evening, but we were blocked the entire time by the breakfast buffet. When we mentioned this, we were bluntly told that this hotel didn't have a bar because there weren't any cocktails either We must be mistaken. We are extremely disappointed about so much verbal audacity that was thrown at us today by the employee. P.S.: Afterwards it turned out that the staff in question were also the operators themselves. Something like that, something like that... I went there for dinner with two colleagues about a year and a half ago. For a currywurst/fries 15 euros, OK...but I returned it because it was served cold and the consistency wasn't good. The waiter then insulted you in Danish at the table in front of your colleagues. It's just stupid that a colleague of mine understands Danish. Some time later, while I was in the restaurant by chance, I complained about it. Today my colleagues tell me that they ate there again and that the staff made insulting comments about me, they recognized my two colleagues. I was called a charlatan and I probably had a screw loose, I should kindly open my own restaurant and do it better and my parents probably failed in my upbringing.... Great, another member of the Marine Association defamed. I'm going public with this now and naming names too! Next time I won't be so friendly! And I'm already looking forward to their disabled comment! (In one review, a lady wished that disinfectant would hopefully seal her stupid mouth.)

The food was very nice and the service also. The atmosphere is great because you have beautiful view.

The five of us went here today to eat and drink something after a walk on the promenade, it was simply delicious. Beautiful view and just a great place to stay.

The restaurant is located directly on the beach opposite the submarine. Very friendly and funny staff. The food was really good. We had 10 meals, everything was parallel and tasted wonderful. We'd love to come back

I was able to enjoy a very tasty meal here after being kicked out of the neighboring restaurant because it didn't open until 10 minutes later. Otherwise I wouldn't actually have gone in there and I was very happy that I tried it. The food was excellent, an absolute culinary delight. I was there alone for dinner (I'm currently working in the area) The service was very friendly, they took the time to have small conversations and were in the mood for nice jokes. The recommended dessert was to die for. If I'm in the area again, I'll come back, I promise.

Found by a bit of a coincidence because we visited the U995 submarine, which is located directly opposite. We decided to have lunch there, nice restaurant, nice tasty food and a great view. The food is well prepared, hot and there is plenty to keep you full. The prices are absolutely reasonable, it's value for money I think (2 cokes, 2 main courses and a cafe latte was €56). Was a bit surprised when a friendly gentleman came to our table and said "I hear there are Danes in the house"😂 Ergo, you don't need to know German if you are 😉😉

Sehr schönes, windgeschützes Restaurant. Das Essen war frisch, reichhaltig und in sehr guter Qualität. Wir empfehlen Fisch zu bestellen. Der Service war hervorragend und der Ausblick aufs Wasser herrlich. Lediglich die Terrasse könnte mit ein paar Pflanzen gemütlicher wirken.

Im Winter zum Glück nicht sehr voll und man bekommt Parkplätze vor der Tür. Bedingung super nett das Essen ist echt lecker wir haben es sehr genossen.

Das Restaurant besteht aus einem großen Raum. Man bemüht sich das Ambiente dennoch angenehm zu halten. Allerdings ist die Geräuschkulisse bei voller Besetzung laut. Wir haben Fisch gegessen, der in Ordnung war. Kein Highlight aber normale gute Kochleistung, Sehr freundliche Bedienung, sehr aufmerksam, das bringt Pluspunkte.

Ein sehr zu empfehlendes Restaurant. Tolle Speisen, nette "dänische" Bedienung. Wir waren zwei mal zum Essen im Restaurant und wurden nie enttäuscht.

Wir feierten dort die Diamantene Hochzeit meiner Eltern, alle Gäste waren begeistert, vielen Dank für den perfekten Tag.

Hallo der Service war groß artig.. und das essen war einfach unbeschreiblich gut ... so gut habe ich noch nirgends gegessen ... ein großes lob an den Service und den koch . Würden immer wieder kommen .

Vielleicht ging es nur mir so ....... Sitzt man alleine draußen,wartet man.Und wird nicht beachtet.Hat man 10 oder vielleicht 15 Minuten gewartet und eine Gruppe kommt,wird die als erstes bedient.Nicht derjenige,der lange gewartet hat.Danach war ich bedient.Und bin gegangen.Leider konnte ich dort nicht Speisen. Und ich werde auch in Zukunft lieber daran vorbei gehen.

keinesfalls ist diese Lokalität zu empfehlen, ein Besitzer dieses Restaurant der seine potenziellen Gäste als Idioten betitelt, welche es nicht nötig hat das man als Gast sein Restaurant aufsucht, scheint es auch nach der schweren Coronakrise nicht nötig zu haben. Übrigens der Name Heimathafen ist nicht gut gewählt, abgewrackter Hafen wäre treffender, es waren auch stets nur wenig Gäste dort. Ich bin seit 20Jahren in Laboe, und bin immer noch entsetzt über ein solches handeln. Also keinesfalls zu empfehlen.

Tja, leider keinerlei Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Bürgerliche Küche, es geht doch sicherlich auch ohne Currywurst zum Abendgeschäft oder? Preise passend zur Qualität der Speisen. Für uns und die Nachbartische war noch Salz nötig. Ein echtes NoGo die Stoffservietten an allen Tischen. Total verschlissen und abstoßend. Dazu eine schmutzige Kaffeetasse auf unserer Fensterbank vom Tagesgeschäft. Der Service war freundlich und es wurde gefragt ob alles Okay ist. Die Servicemitarbeiterin war freundlich und hatte einfach ohne große Unterstützung ein zu großes Revier, ihr älterer Kollege hätte sie sicherlich besser unterstützen können. Personell also unterbesetzt und die Leitung scheint auch dieses Detail wozu auch Kontrolle und Unterstützung gehört deutlich zu vernachlässigen. Also gaben sie sich Mühe. Das reicht aber nicht für professionelle Gastronomie. Ich sehe es auch nicht als meine Aufgabe den Service persönlich darauf aufmerksam zu machen, das man sein Gesäß auf dem Nachbartisch parkt. Gäste standen etwas hilflos im Lokal , der Tresen- Mann scheinbar nicht zur Begrüßung zuständig. Nun zur Küche, es war okay, aber keine Kürbiss- Suppe benötigt Brühpullver, den Strudel einfach wie auf der Verpackung steht backen damit der Teig ausbacken kann. Bei den Bratkartoffeln verbrannte Zwiebeln aussortieren. Das Sauerfleisch und das Dressing war wirklich schmackhaft. Im Großen und Ganzen war es keine Katastrophe, aber keinerlei Argument wieder zu kommen abgesehen von der Aussicht.

Das Steak ist den gut gelungen nur die Beilagen Portion war mir zu wenig. Dessert war okay aber mir den Preis nicht Wert.

Der Wolsbarsch ist sehr lecker, ebenso der Zander auf Linsengemüse.

Schönes Restaurant und tolle Servicekräfte. Das Essen kann man ebenfalls empfehlen.

Waren zum Kaffee und Kuchen dort. Hübsches Cafe direkt am Strand und dadurch super Aussicht. Service freundlich (manchmal fehlte der Überblick wer fertig ist, zahlen möchte etc. ) Aber trotzdem hübsch, gemütlich und wir würden wieder hingehen!

Netter Empfang. Grosser Wert auf Corona Prävention. Essen war Durchschnitt und für die Leistung zu teuer. Der Hotelier sehr unfreundlich.

Sehr leckere Fischgerichte und gute Preise. Es sieht von außen etwas veraltet aus, ist aber innen sauber und gepflegt.

Das Restaurant direkt am Marine Ehrenmal, dem Wahrzeichen von Laboe, hat eine fantastische, sehr große Terrasse, eine tolle Aussicht auf das Meer und sie ist windgeschützt durch Verglasung. Anfang September gab es neben der normalen Speisenkarte als saisonale Ergänzung u.a. Miesmuscheln. Die habe ich selten so gut gehabt und auch der Salat meiner Frau war wohl sehr gut. Leider war der Service offenbar unterbesetzt und, das war zu spüren, total überfordert. Alles war hektisch, da war keine Zeit um kurz nachzufragen ob alles in Ordnung ist, da wurde nicht nach leeren Gläsern geschaut, da war es vielmehr ein Problem nachzubestellen. Wenn man als Gast das Gefühl bekommt, eigentlich lästig zu sein, verdirbt das doch die Stimmung. Beim Zahlen wurde dann doch gefragt, ob wir zufrieden gewesen wären. Meine Bemerkung zum unzureichenden Service rief allerdings nur ein Schulterzucken hervor, kein Wort der Entschuldigung oder zumindest Versuch der Erklärung. Das ist schlicht unprofessionell. Es ist bekannt, dass es durch die Lock-downs schwierig ist, genügend (und speziell geschultes) Personal zu bekommen. Hoffen wir mal, das sich das ändert im Heimathafen. Ein dickes Lob und ein Dankeschön geht aber an die Küche! Da ändert sich hoffentlich nichts.
