Bella Italia Laboe in Laboe

A bit dated. Personally, I don't like it when the boss smokes in front of the entrance and isn't completely sober.

Highly recommended. Great location with a beautiful view. Very attentive, friendly, and prompt service, and the food was simply fantastic.

I've been there once before in the winter and was absolutely thrilled with the ambience, the food and the service. This summer I was bitterly disappointed; even the table reservation was very unfriendly. We had reserved a table for 7 p.m. It was very busy and very noisy in the restaurant due to the thin walls. I could have lived with that if we hadn't had to wait over two hours for our food. The only sarcastic comment from the service was that we hoped we would get our food before tomorrow. There was no discount. I then left my sunglasses in the shop, and when I went back to ask if they had been returned, no one even bothered to look; they just said they had probably been stolen, even though because we ate late at 10 p.m. we were the last guests to leave and the table was still being set, meaning the sunglasses had to be found by the staff. If it's gone, it's gone, my fault... but I did find it cheeky to have the nerve to tell me that maybe I should have come a day earlier (the restaurant was closed and I was there) or that it had been stolen, without even bothering to look for it myself.

Very good menu, the place was only 1/3 full. However, after 20 minutes, there was still no service. So we left. Apparently, no one needed it anymore.... What a pity.

At first, we received a friendly welcome. There were two adults and two children. The food order was OK. Then, only two food orders came, and we had to wait another 10 minutes for the other two food orders to arrive. So, the food was cold again for one child and the husband. The food looked delicious, but the pizza was impossible to cut. The knives were very unsuitable; you could hardly cut it; the pizza was like rubber. Then we asked again if we could get ketchup with our fries. They said they would bring it, but they didn't bring any ketchup. Even though the restaurant wasn't even full, we were only served half-heartedly. Then we wanted to go to the bathroom with two children, but that wasn't possible. Apparently, they don't have a customer restroom. Even though every restaurant is required to provide a restroom in the catering industry. So, our children had to hold in their pee for a very long time. I think that's a disgrace. And then we were asked if everything was okay, and my husband said we were dissatisfied, but the lady didn't even bother to ask why we were dissatisfied. So, totally disinterested and totally uninterested in the customer service!!!!!

Bad service, unfriendly, and the food wasn't particularly tasty. Worst spaghetti carbonara I've ever had.

Unfortunately we can't give any further review as we wanted to eat there (pizza) but were told 2.5 hours before closing time that there was no more pizza, which I don't really understand when you know it's busy.

We each had an appetizer and the same pasta dish. It was delicious!

Very good food, and the view of the Baltic Sea makes you think you're looking at Lake Garda... Italian music plays in the background. This is the perfect way to end the day.

A good tip for a great meal a little off the beaten track. Friendly service, good Italian food with a view of the fjord, and reasonable prices. We walked here from the marina, and it was worth the trip.

Wir waren zu Dritt im Lokal,wurden sehr freundlich in Emfang genommen und zum Tisch gebracht. Ambiente wunderschön. Getränkewunsch in kürzester Zeit gebracht. Wir hatten eine Vorspeise,die schmeckte super und war so reichlich. Der Hauptgang liess nicht auf sich warten. So ein wunderbaren Geschmack,erlebt man nicht überall.Wir kommen wieder,versprochen.

We were there yesterday, the food was abysmal, the pizza was missing the garlic I had ordered specially, and my steak, which I ordered medium with vegetables and croquettes, arrived at the table completely different, I had immediately informed them that I had not ordered it that way, he said he would bring my side dishes straight away, I waited for over 10 minutes and during that time I choked down the meat because I was really hungry, when the waiter came I politely told him I didn't need any more side dishes, please show the bill, which seriously stated my entire meal, I asked him to reconsider, I wanted to pay half because I had now eaten the meat, but now it was completely off the bill and I then added (half of the dish) as a tip. The place used to be really good, now they are all overwhelmed and unfortunately it is no longer in proportion, too expensive, too little value for money. We will NEVER be back.

Finally, a real Italian restaurant. The pizzas were delicious, with perfect dough and tasty ingredients. I'd gladly go back :-)

We were unfortunately very disappointed. We reserved a table and arrived on time. We waited 45 minutes for our drinks. When it came to dinner, everyone who arrived after us and ordered the same thing got their pizzas before us. After 1.5 hours and after asking, we were told the pizza was now being put in the oven. Unfortunately, we can't say anything about the food. We paid for our drinks and left the restaurant. What was really positive was the location and the view, and the food looked very good. We wouldn't go there again, so we wouldn't recommend it.

I was here today. We received extremely friendly service. It didn't take long, either. The food was absolutely delicious. We'd love to come back. The price and performance were absolutely justified.

The food took a very long time, even though it was quiet. The mushroom pizza was brought to our table cold. No waiter even came to ask if everything was okay, but I would have complained. The spaghetti bolognese tasted of nothing. It really wasn't good! I wouldn't recommend it.

It was a very good, tasty and beautiful restaurant, everything was tasty, I ordered the first lasagna and the second pizza Margherita, both of which are highly recommended and very tasty.

Unfortunately the quality is no longer what it used to be. Some of the ingredients are really discounter level. The pizza used to be really great, but now they seem to be saving on the heat of the oven. Too bad...

Very friendly service. We sat outside and the patio heater was turned on and a table light was brought outside. We were given free bread with aioli beforehand and grappa at the end. We got really good Italian pizza, very tasty!

Ate very tasty pizza here with a view of the Baltic Sea! The waiters were also very friendly to our toddler. Unfortunately, the second drink we ordered was lost in the hectic pace, but was brought immediately after being reminded - this can happen when there is a lot going on.

Spaghetti alla Vongole, an absolute must. Great food paired with very attentive service. Finally the homemade grappa, fantastic!

Completely exceptional Italian! The landlord can more than compensate for the somewhat remote location of the vibrant Laboe with outstanding quality. Really excellent Italian cuisine, friendly service! We'll be back!

Despite it being full on Saturday evening, we wanted to eat outside as it was a beautiful summer evening, so we waited inside for about 10 minutes with a drink and then got a table outside. Fast service, great food and the homemade grappa...great! When we are back in Laboe, we would like to go there again. Everything worked out for us👍☀️

Delicious pizzas, chaotic service. I received the wrong pizza and the replacement arrived when my friends had already finished it. Overall not very friendly, the wrong topping on my pizza was justified by the fact that I hadn't ordered correctly. Prices quite high.

Today I was served a Parma pizza that had two stones in it, one the size of a pea and the other a little smaller. Luckily for me, things went smoothly and I didn't suffer any damage carried away by my teeth. When asked the service staff, I was assured that this had never happened before. However, it is possible that such impurities can occur in the flour for the pizza dough. There was no apology or words Regrets from the restaurant management. The reaction was rather indifferent! That's not possible at these prices. The pizza was mediocre in taste. The knives that were handed out should be replaced, you can't actually cut with them at all. We cannot recommend this restaurant!

Authentic Italian cuisine. We had a starter and 2 pasta dishes. In addition, a really good Primitivo. Without charge, we got an absolutely fantastic sunset 🙂

Good Italians in Kiel are rare. Bella Italia is not in Kiel but it is definitely worth the trip there. From today on my new favorite Italian restaurant. Can't beat the sunset ambience. Service great, location great and food indescribable.

Unfortunately, I wasn't 100 percent satisfied when I visited the Italian restaurant. Some dishes didn't quite meet my expectations. However, I'm open to maybe trying it again as every day and every experience can be different. ---

Spontaneous stop for lunch - what can I say: the pizza beats our two local Italians by far! As a notorious pizza-cruncher, these brick-oven pizzas are a revelation. We'd love to come back! Thank you 🙏

Four of us ate here at the beginning of August and were unfortunately absolutely disappointed. Some reasons for this: • the waiters were unfriendly, • we waited 1 hour for our food even though there wasn't much activity, • the lasagne for around 15.00 euros was something for the hollow tooth, • Instead of bacon, the pizza was topped with raw ham and • We also had to wait 30 minutes for the bill. Overall, we can only advise against visiting a restaurant because the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right!

Ein krönender Abschluss unseres Urlaubs sollte es werden. Die erste Enttäuschung: im Gegensatz zu unseren Nachbarn gab es kein Brot mit Dipp. Die zweite: das Ambiente praktisch, nichts Geräuschdämmendes, also laut. Die dritte.: Für die Pizza Daivola mussten Extras wie z. B. Zwiebeln, Knoblauch, Chili gegen Aufpreis bestellt werden. ... Den offenen Wein nicht zum günstigeren Preis, und ausgezeichnet wurde es auch nicht mit Mengenangabe. Und die Pizza mit einem riesigen Rand voller Luft, der Belag trotz bestellter Extras dürftig. Gott sei Dank, in Laboe gibt es bessere, gastfreundlichere Restaurants.

100% Italy in Laboe! The name "Bella Italia" says it all... Bread and aioli first, then pasta, pizza, white wine, homemade limoncello and espresso - everything top, including the best sunset! We were blissfully the last guests and will definitely be back! Mille grazie, friends!!!

We got 2 pizzas to take away. Probably the last time. The taste was okay, but that was it. Pizza for the child was badly burned on one side. The toppings slipped off the pizzas and my pizza was supposed to have different tomatoes on it. Either cocktail or cherry. I had regular tomatoes on it. Payment only by card..... There was also a point deduction for that... Price/performance ratio was also borderline

We fancied an Italian and 110% got it! The food was delicious, the service was excellent! As he was leaving, the waiter even heard my son say quietly to me that he would like some more bread like that... and there was a new plate of bread and aioli in front of us! The only disadvantage: only card payment is preferred. But in an emergency you can also pay in cash... We'll definitely come again!
